Wonderful service, fantastic food.
Browsing over the menu online, we thought we'd check out this restaurant as we all love Indian and Nepalese food and the combo is great. There seemed like a lot of variety; some of the "old faithfuls" from Indian restaurants, and also some new-to-us dishes on the Nepalese side.
We walked in and were the first group to dine for the night. It's got a nice decor about it, without being too fancy, and we were warmly greeted and promptly seated at the table. They gave us enough time to browse through the menu after having explained a few dishes, which was helpful, and came to take our orders. Considering we - at that stage - were the only diners, it took a little while for the entrees to come out. Yes, they do Uber or Deliveroo or one of them, but there wasn't plentiful orders coming through at one go.
Eventually the entrees came out and they smelled great and tasted good too. Mine - a salmon dish - was the last to come out. I cut into it, and low and behold, it wasn't salmon (in all honesty, it was the reason for ordering that dish). I could tell this immediately by the colour and was disappointed. The waitress came over and explained they had "run out of salmon" (so early in the night) and they used Baramundi. Firstly, I'm glad it was a fish I could actually eat (because I can't eat all fish) and secondly, why did no one say anything before prepping it?? What if I didn't want it anymore? They asked me - once it was in front of me - if I wanted it still and I actually didn't want it, but refused to keep waiting and waiting for them to cook something new. So I ate it, and luckily it was tasty. I would have thought as goodwill, they might have said, "here's a free beverage", or "we'll take it off your bill", but there was no amends to this.
When the mains came out, they were all delicious and prepared how we requested. There wasn't a whole lot of room on the table for the dishes, but the meal itself was good. The mango chicken was actual mango sauce and so delectable.
The things I didn't like about Aagaman was the way they handled the situation with my entree, and I didn't like how the waitresses/owner would shout out things to the kitchen from inside the restaurant. We'd hear "they're still waiting for ... " often or things to that affect. But what I did like was the taste of the food. It was really good and reasonably priced. The people were friendly and the restaurant had space in it and not cramped like some places can be. Parking might be a problem during the year on busy Saturday nights, but this one - straight after Christmas - parking was easy.
Would I recommend coming here to eat? Yes, I would. And I look forward to coming back again, maybe in winter.
Our go-to Indian - we will always drive here to get the following: butter chicken, jeera rice, dal makhni, and cheese and spinach naan. Only place that even does cheese & spinach naan! Just soooooo yummy
Great food, great ambiance, amazing hospitality. This place has the best authentic chicken momos
3.5 / 5
Not too many options to choose for a last-minute plan, Aagman topped the list as most of the restaurants shut by 9.00pm.
Already famished after tiring Saturday spent with filing our taxes, paying our bills and putting the final itinerary in place for our 10 days trip that starts on the 27th September, we ordered our food that comprised of Rice, Naan, Malekhu Fish Tikka, Chettinad Chicken, Gulmeyley Lamb Curry.
At 9.00pm it was very crowded and we were sure that the food would either be awesome or Bad.
Gulmeley Lamb was easily the Dish of the Day. Perfectly cooked and flavored.
Chicken Chettinad definitely was tasty but tasted more like a mild version of butter chicken than chicken chettinad...Nevertheless, totally enjoyed it.
The fish tika was perfectly spiced and.grillwd minus the color...Which was such a relief.
Over-all we loved the food here, and definitely the complimentary papad basket.
What we would have ideally liked is a bit of cleanliness after the customers have made a mess of this place.
Plenty to choose for Vegans and Vegetarians. Easy on pocket and very warm and friendly staff. And too our surprise they are a part of Gold Offer too.
It's perfect time for any South Asia Restaurant to be noticed as Melbourne is more open to experiment than usual and.Aagman has the making of making it big but it gives-in to the usual instead of tapping it's potential.
Amazing food. Must visit for tasty indian food.
Fab service and hospitality.
Will visit again soon.
We made a last minute booking to take our parents out for Indian dinner and ended upat Aagman. Frankly I had never heard of the place and neither had the 3 friends I called to get a review so we decided to wing it. I have to say it was hands down one of the best Indian food I have had in Melbourne.
Ambience - 5/5 - Low mood light but they had fancy table lamps which I was personally very fascinated with! There's a bar in the middle of the restaurant which adds a character to the place.
Service - 10/5 - Our server Jags was a great example of what hospitality should be about. He checked in with us throughout our meal whilst not overcrowding us. I reckon we enjoyed our meal more due to this perfection of service displayed by Jags. Everything was on-point from the cutlery placement to serving meals. Special shoutout.
Drinks - We had the Barossa shiraz and were quite surprised how cheap the prices were (wohoo!).
Food - We ordered the below -
Veg tandoori platter - 4.5/5 - Assortment of veg entree, the paneer was succulent and the cauliflower roasted well. Samosa was quite a big size which was generous. Everything was cooked nicely but I would have liked a bit more tangy flavour in there. Something simple like chaat masala on top would have hit the right spot for me!
Fig Kofta - 4.5/5 - The gravy was amazing and the concept of fig kofta quite good. One of our koftas was a bit hard but the other one was fine. Overall a great veg dish.
Kadhai Paneer - 5/5 - Slightly different colour than we are used to but that didn't affect the flavours. They did not go stingy on paneer like some of the other places do!
Chettinad Chicken - 4.5/5 - Well cooked chicken with a yummy gravy. We had asked for it to be cooked hot but I thought it was medium. My family liked it but I prefer more spicy. This is something quite common in Indian restaurants in Melbourne but maybe I will be more clear in my order next time!
Khukuri Chicken - 5/5 - Cooked in rum, what's there to complain:)
We had an assortment of breads & rice everything cooked perfectly. Phew hats off to the Chef!
Value for money? Yes definitely.
I would go back again but this time on a weekend to see if they can maintain the consistency on a busy night.
Very nice place to dine in. Staff were very polite and friendly. More importantly, the food is good. Highly recommended for any occasion or events.
Dined at aagaman last night because it was just down the road. We were pleasantly surprise with the yummy food, and tasty mango lassi, as well as wine from the Barossa Valley at a cheap price by the glass. The portion sizes were decent, and the atmosphere was great. Rating this place 4.4 stars, so rounding up to 5. Would come here again for dinner. It's easy on the pocket.
Delicious and reasonably priced curry dishes and roti tasted amazing too. Love how you can choose the spice level for most dishes and not to mention the great service. A local gem worth trying !
Absolutely love this place!! Best beans curry I've ever had. I should try different curry but I always order Dal Makhari. The staff was so super kind and friendly. If you like curry, I would highly recommend this place.
Aagaman arrives with a unique array of Indian and Nepalese delicacies created by Chef Ram Sapkota, with distinct clean and fresh curries and mastered tandoor cooking. As the name signifies arrival of the restaurant as a new start towards a food philosophy that is driven by a desire to present an eccentric and expansive Indian/Nepalese repertoire, bursting with flavours and originality, as a multi-sensory dining experience and a highly personal one. Designed truly for enjoyment of food and drinks over a conversation, we encourage the use of fresh vegetables and mixture of ground spices 'Masalas', Making your experience of Indian and Nepalese Cuisine even more amazing.
After living in Port Melbourne for over four years we finally discovered this little hidden gem!
The food was absolutely delicious and generous servings. We had the following; Vegetable momos, Kadai paneer masala, Butter chicken, Coconut rice, Garlic Naan.
Great service! We will definitely be back!
We knew nothing of this restaurant and chose it on the basis of its location between various family households across Melbourne. We could not have chosen better, in fact it was so good we are booking it again for our next family dinner.
The food was tasty, the set menu generous and the staff was willing to vary the set menu to accommodate our tastes.
We comprised 7 adults and a 13 month old who was welcomed enthusiastically. We arrived as strangers and left feeling we were valued customers.
If you are considering visiting then do!
Lovely surprise find. Great variety food presented beautifully with friendly service catering for every need making us feel very welcome. Looking forward to trying other dishes on our next visit
Food & Service: I stumbled upon this place in South Melbourne and was completely taken by surprise. Food is slightly on the spicier side but if you like hot food, you’ll drool over their dishes. (not everything is hot, they can alter it as per your pallet)
Look & Feel: Staff is extremely polite and courteous. Interiors are well done and gives you a fine dine experience.
Recommend: Lamb curry and the naans
Great food and service. We had cocktails to start. Butter chicken and lamb Rohan josh was delicious! Great service and food came out quickly !
We are not a big Indian food eater but thoroughly satisfied with the experience. The food tasted great, the chilli chicken (which is highly recommended) was very similar to the Chinese style cooking. Lamb curry got a little heat to it so be careful. Okra curry was also really good.
The food is delicious and the servings are substantial. The staff are incredibly friendly and responsive. Fundamentally, this place is great value for money.

Came here and tried the tandoori pork ribs and the chow mein, the flavours were right up there and the pricing was fair, deserved a 4.5 but the app only allows whole number reviews, please fix this Zomato
Not amazing, but not bad either. A good local Indian restaurant to visit from time to time. Service is ok. Ambience is good. Price is on the upper end for an Indian option. Portions are reasonable.
Every time we go there the food is generally amazing. We love the pani puri, the Punjabi butter chicken, their palek paneer, their naan amoungst other things. Today we went and got seated outside tent and I felt the service wasn’t as good as the inside, and normally the lamb melts in your mouth - this time, it was a bit tough hence 4/5 instead of 5/5
We've had takeaway from here before but this was our first time sitting in. Firstly, the staff were so friendly and kind! Big tick! We of course had the pani puri, my absolute fave Indian snack, and they do a fab job with them! For mains we had the lamb rojan Josh, yellow lentils, rice, raita and nann. It was all spot on, we asked for hot and it was the perfect amount of spice, not overpowering at all just right! Also everything was really well priced! Excellent experience!
Popped down to Port Melbourne to wait out the traffic gridlock leading onto West Gate Bridge, and what better way to spend our time waiting by eating? A nice cool breeze from the air conditioning welcomes us when we walked in, followed by a strong smell of incense. Brings back memory of dining in Asia.
We were the only ones in the restaurant, and as such service was very attentive, albeit lacking a bit of warmth. As we had the Entertainment Book voucher, we weren’t too restrained when ordering. Chicken tikka masala, beef korma, fig kofta, Kashmiri rice, and for good measures, a serve of garlic naan.
The garlic naan was our favourite - chewy, soft and crisped. Topped with cheese, it was a mix of garlicky, cheesy and buttery goodness. I enjoyed the fig kofta - plump and juicy, and the sauce was thick and creamy, perfect for moping up with the naan. The succulent chicken pieces in the tikka masala also whet our appetite immensely.
While the curries were undeniably delicious, we felt that the flavour of the curries seemed to be have been dialled down somewhat, lacking the complex and robust flavours brought upon by the pairing of different spices. For those who like it hot, don’t bother with medium, let alone mild, as there wasn’t even a hint of spiciness in medium.
Nevertheless, a good option for Indian in the area.
We were puppy sitting in Port Melbourne and ordered some takeaway from Aagaman. The butter chicken was a deliciously flavoursome curry. The chicken was tender and juicy and the sauce lovely and sweet (just how I like it) but not overpoweringly so. A garlic naan was the perfect accomplishment to mop it all up. Will definitely return to dine in
Chill vibe in the restaurant and friendly staff. The food was very nice, the only thing I would change is not to order butter chicken. But that's probably a personal preference. But can't wait to come back again!
I have to start off by saying that this place smelt like urine when I entered. I'm certain it was just the smell of the cleaning products they must use, but still very off-putting.
The food made up for it though, traditional curries were all spot-on. They also gave us a complimentary pumpkin soup before our main meals arrived, which had a curry flavour through it.
Love this place. The quality of the food is amazing. Service is very good. If you want a good curry come here. Not too pricey either. If you're a sweet tooth make sure to get a mango lassi. Get 2.
Excellent service, atmosphere and food, best indian food in the area by far. The staff are welcoming and very helpful and and we are now regulars for both sit down and take away service.
Whenever we think of Nepal, Mount Everest comes in mind. Before my introduction of Nepalese cuisine and culture, I'd must admit that my knowledge was quite limited. Nepal is located at the border of India, China and Tibet. It is a multi-racial country with different ethnic groups so there's no singular dish identified as a Nepalese dish. Nepalese cuisine encompasses the diversity of cuisines and curry is perhaps the most common dish of all.
Found this little gem in our Entertainment book - quite unusual to find an Indian restaurant open at lunch time! We were the only patrons yesterday at about 12.30pm, bliss - no loud kids to disturb the peace, enabling us to take our time & enjoy our lunch. It was delightfully cool on a sweltering day. The Mustang & Kingfisher beers were ice cold & promptly delivered to out table by our delightful young waitress. We had Chaat...something (delicious) and tandoori prawns (interesting) for our entrees, and we shared a main of Chettinad Madras Beef - we asked for it hot, and found it a little mild for us, but delicious all the same, accompanied by steamed rice & a garlic naan - and they didn't hold back on the garlic - lovely! We like eating in Port Melbourne & Bay Street is MUCH quieter than Beach Road. We will definitely be regulars here & go through the entire menu to establish our favourites.
It is so refreshing to find an Indian restaurant open for lunch. The aubergine curry, tandoori chicken and rice were fabulous. Presentation and crew were great. Can't wait to return.
Quite simply the best Indian I have had in Melbourne, We mostly get Takeaway and the food is incredible each time! I come from a UK city that has world famous curries and I can say without a lie that the Chicken Saag here is better than any other I have tasted! Delivery is always prompt, their delivery drivers always have a smile and quality is always consistent!
Awesome :)
Aagaman is a Port Melbourne neighbourhood gem. The menu gratifies Indian and Nepali cuisine cravings with fresh flavoured curries and expert tandoor cooking and showcases a range of old favourites alongside contemporary dishes. To start, the Annari tandoori chicken was delicious. Wonderfully tender chicken has been marinated in yoghurt, pomegranate juice, and authentic Indian spices before being cooked traditionally in a Tandoor clay oven.
It was a delightful evening, enjoyed in the setting of a classy Indian restaurant.
While the execution was not flawless, the majority of the dishes served tonight was highly enjoyable and ranks amongst the tastiest I’ve sampled in Melbourne.
The service was friendly and prompt, coupled with accomodating recommendations to dishes and ideal spice levels, Aagaman could easily become one of Melbourne’s best Indian establishment with some minor improvements.
Aagaman is a little eatery in Port Melbourne which specialize in Indian and Nepalese cuisine. The restaurant is clean and elegant to dine in, but its also super popular with takeaways too. The menu options are extensive and the food is delicious. Would recommend trying out!. Tasted just like a liquified mango yoghurt. Refreshing! 7/10
Great Indian food. if you ever crave for butter chicken and naan bread this is the place to go. The staff is great too doesn't beat around the bushes and give you good recommendations.
it was excellent! try the chilli chicken!! everything was spot on!! Best Indian restaurant in my life :)?we'll definitely be back xx this is all i had to say but Zomato requests to write min 140 characters so I am doing that :)
One of my local eat outs, great Indian/Nepalese fusion of flavors.
A little on the pricey side compared to other Indian restaurants but the service and quality of food make up for it.
Have eaten in a lot of Indian restaurants and since moving into Pt Melbourne, this is by far the best we've ever come across. Authentic and wide selection.
Fantastic food!! Unreal thanks team! Always quick and friendly staff always hot and never have to re heat :)) would recommend as best Indian in port melb
Cute little place in the heart of Port Melbourne. The service here was fantastic (I'm assuming a family-run business?), and we were given some advice on how much we should be ordering for the two of us.
We ordered the Butter Chicken & Tikka, along with some naan bread - the food was tasty and had flavour although it fell short of absolute fine dining. Nice experience nonetheless!
Just beautiful. The food is so flavoursome and wholesome, just delicious! You just have to try the momos and if you're a butter chicken fan this one is tomatoey, creamy and punchy, yum!! We had quail, chicken, lamb, beef and goat and no one said a bad word it was just cooked to perfection. The staff were very polite and helpful. I will be coming back for more!
We were looking for good Indian, and boy did we find it! Delicious meal! Really fresh and full of flavour. Great service to match :) we will be back!
This is the second time I dined in a proper Indian restaurant and I loved it. The restaurant has a very Indian deco, a large peacock at the front and some indian deco on the wall. Customer service was good and friendly. Dishes seem small, however we couldn't finish them. We ordered butter chicken, spinach with lamb and Chettinad madras beef and plenty of naans! We love naans! It tasted good by itself and even better with all different delicious curries.
This is probably going to be my new local, big open plan, reminiscent of a curry house in south London. Delicious goat curry, have it hot if you like an authentic home cooked curry taste. We had skipped lunch for an early dinner, with the intention of stuffing ourselves: also ordered chicken Saag, a mushroom and pea vegetable curry, saffron rice and a tandoori roti - thought about taking home leftovers, but it was a quiet night and we had no shame, so instead just grazed until it was all gone! Felt full and satisfied without feeling too bloated after, a little dehydrated though. All that for $60, including corkage and no public holiday surcharge. Service was warm and friendly. Looking forward to going back on a busier night, with a bit more atmosphere and aromas.
My girlfriend and I (Bonnie), went here for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. I'd never tried Indian before and she highly recommended this place.
For most of our dinning we were the only ones in the restaurant which we found odd for lunch time on bay street.
I ordered the Pharsi Masala which was...
Excellent food, i am revisiting the place with my family. My favourite is their Papdi chaat! One of the few Indian restaurants I have liked in Melbourne.
Had dinner here, Recently tried Indian / nepalese food in Darwin for the first time and loved it, spice and all.
Back home we discovered a restaurant in our neighbourhood, we tried it out.
Pleasant environment, not too much of the spice aroma to knock you out when you arrive. My first visual, was the takeaway waiting seats, I thought there are a lot of them so business must do well for takeaway . We were offered seating , which is always nice , often you don't get seated where your more comfortable.
A good impression for the start at being seated, was the cloth napkins, hard to find in casual dining these days. Our glasses were topped with water and complimentary papadums with mint yoghurt and tamarind - delicious !!
We ordered for two to share:
Samosa x2 for entree
Tikka lamb x 3 , which was a bit odd given we were ordering for two to share
Lamb vindaloo , hot hot hot and absolutely awesomely delicious
Coconut rice
Plain naan
Everything we ordered was perfectly presented, well proportioned ( with the exception of the tikka) fresh and absolutely tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs, the took my specific dietary requirements and allergic reactions to confirm with the chef of any possible issues. Returned promptly and confirmed all ok , the meals arrived in a timely manner and appropriate to where we were at with our dining .
If you like Indian / nepalese food then you need to visit this restaurant. To top the night off all that and service and cloth napkin and table cloth for $61.00 - where can you truly get this value for money with a complete dining experience.
Go there , tag me and share with me your dining experience.
What a gem tucked away in Bay St Port Melbourne! The service is prompt. The menu has plenty to choose from and the decor is simple and subdued. The only negative is the glossy paper covering the tablecloth. Importantly the food is delicious. We started with the samosas and tikka lamb cutlets. The serves were small but enough to share between two diners. For main we ordered the Lamb Vindaloo (medium spice) with a side of coconut rice and plain naan. Just superb. The food came quickly and the waiters were genuinely interested in what we thought of our meal. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
Best Indian we have ever eaten. Top quality service ( they are all so lovely and will do anything to make your experience perfect). Sister is dairy free also and that posed no problem at all. We have eaten in a lot of places, in a lot of country's and a lot of cuisines, this was up there with our favourite. HIDDEN GEM !
Lovely place, friendly staff, awesome Gurkali Chicken!! I will definitely come back! I found this place here on Zomato and the place is worth the rating it has!
Aagaman is one of the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne. The food is super fresh, tasty and flavoursome, and there's no oil slick over the top of the curries which I often see in Indian restaurants. They have a fantastic value lunch special - 2 curries with rice, salad, papadum and naan for only $11.90 (veg) or $12.90 (meat). A massive tray comes out and you seriously can't believe how much you're getting for the price. My Indian colleague loves this place, and I think that speaks volumes about the quality of the food and the taste. Staff are super friendly and attentive too. Definitely give it a go if you're in the area!
The most authentic Indian Nepalese restaurant that I have been to. Food was delicious with portion sizes great for sharing. Will most certainly be coming back.
Great find just walking by! Tasty delicious real Nepal/Indian food . Staff delightful helpful good service and with a genuine smile . Two visits now and coming back ! Generous portions Reasonable price .
Awesome food, flavours and service...we tried the dal makhni, mushroom curry and kadhai paneer. The lachha paratha, roti and naan were well done, just right. The mains servings are on the smaller side though. Our gol guppas (pani puri) wasn't too bad. However, at the end we were a bit disappointed because they didn't know how to apply the Entertainment Book offer, giving me 10% off the total instead of 25%. The Entertainment Book later confirmed they didn't do it right. We went there for a special occasion, so a surprise at the end of the meal wasn't what we expected because we've used this offer at so many other places without any hassle.
Really nice food, the banquet type menu is a LOT of food and more than enough for two. Good service as well, affordable priced drinks. The a sweet roti bread is amazing.
My husband and I tried this place out tonight and loved it. Really flavorsome food and very fresh. The prices seemed reasonable too and comparable to what you would pay in a not so nice restaurant. Good atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.
Such a great place! The food is amazing and the staff are so attentive. I've been there twice now and loved it just as much. We will definitely be coming back again
So happy to have a good Indian in our area at last. Well prices and yummy food. Great service. Nans not the best though particularly the garlic one.
This has become a local home delivery favourite. The food is superb. The tandoori salmon is a highlight and although my friends love the meat dishes, all of the favourites tend to be from the vegetarian section.
Aagman is a Hindi word which means “Arrival”. The name here signifies the arrival of the restaurant as a steep start towards a food philosophy that is driven by a desire to present an eclectic and expansive Indian repertoire, bursting with flavours and originality, as a multi-sensory dining experience and a highly personal one.
The food here is amazing. I regularly order the lentil curry dishes and they are always perfect. The portion sizes are substantial and I always have leftovers.
Had dinner here last night with my mum and absolutely loved it! Great food, extensive menu and reasonably priced. Perfect amount of spice added. It reminded us of an old favourite restaurant Tandoori Cottage in East Malvern! I'd definitely recommend this restaurant for all ages.
ive had lunch and and also gone back with friends for dinner. I can highly recommend this restaurant, it ticks all the boxes great food and ive tried at least 10 dishes on the menu and all very good the desert was amazing, we took our own wine which is a bonus and most of all the service was attentive. when we received the bill we couldnt believe we ate so much for so little. Korma lamb and garlic naan a must also ask the waiter for recommendations they are spot on.
Great Menu, good food and perfect ambiance. Service is good and offered tea while waiting for takeaway once, now I don't see that any where before. Khukri Chicken got brilliant taste(might be rum). Gulmely Lamb is also very good dish to go for. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
We are currently on our 8th take away order from this place in about 6 months. It is absolutely delicious and we are never disappointed! Worth a try!
Had lunch here today. We had the thali lunch pack - both the vegetarian option and meat option. The food was generous and absolutely delicious. The waiter was very polite, service was quick and all for a very reasonable price - $12 & $13 for the thali packs.
We'll definitely be back and order takeaway too.
Absolutely amazing food !. Hot food delivery on time and generous portions.
An address to remember.
Delicious, Delicious, Delicious. I ordered take away for 7 people from here ( the bill was approx $140) and the food arrived on time, hot and steaming and delicious!. The delivery driver was friendly and apologetic for how busy they were on the sunday night, and the order taker on thephone was friendly and helpful!. Love this place, will be ordering from here again!.
My mate took me to this place and was awesome
Chicken Badam Malai. IT WAS LOVELY
Great food in Port Melbourne!. My family ate a wonderful meal at Aagaman. Th moms were delicious - as were the lamb and chicken curries! The banana chips are worth a try too! Will definitely be going back!
We had had takeaway from here before and were impressed so decided to go to the restaurant for a sit-down meal. It was wonderful! Delicious food and kind and thoughtful service. The goat and gumeley lamb were fantastic! I would recommend to friends and will visit again.
Great addition to PM eateries. Have eaten here twice and very impressed... fabulous food, reasonably prices and attentive staff. Will definitely be going back.
The food here is outstanding. You must try the lamb korma and the tandoori mixed grill. Great service and modern, clean premises. Highly recommended.
Excellent Nepalese yummy x
Just great. Good food , great management and service and the flavors are just to die for , my new favorite place to eat.
Absolutely Brilliant. Food and service was top notch.
Mark my words, this restaurant will be featured in Good food guide very soon.
Came here with a group of friends, the garlic naan is one of the best I’ve had and not too expensive. Id be happy to just eat that. We also has the chicken tikka entree, amazing soft chicken. The Himalayan goat curry, again really good. The service was also top notch.
We visited Aagaman Restaurant located in Bay Street Port Melbourne for a Saturday lunch. We started with a couple of drinks, Nepal Ice Lager and a Passionfruit & Chilli Martini. The Lager was served in a tall glass, great size! The Martini was so tasty. A lovely passionfruit and orange flavour with a great kick of chilli. We couldn’t decide on what to order so we went with the Aagaman Ko Bhoj which is $54.90 per person.
There was a great selection of entrees, mains and a wonderful dessert to finish off the delicious dishes. Each dish had wonderful flavours and complimented each other. The basket of breads were go good and a must to soak in the delicious sauces.
We thank Aagaman for having us. We experienced Aagaman Restaurant as guests, and all of our opinions are genuine and are based on our experience at the time of our visit.
Very nice Indian/Nepalese restaurant. Atmosphere in this place was very pleasant and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely divine and I cannot wait to go back and try the other curries and dishes on the menu! Definitely recommend it 100%!
Really excellent meal. Good food. Lovely staff. Elegant restaurant. Recommended by a friend, so glad they did. Chicken momos were so tasty and unique. Cheese and spinach naan was so good I wish I could eat one every day. Will be back.

The restaurent was like any other indian rest in melbourne. The staff is extremely polite and serves you with a smile always. All dishes are good , except that, for indians who are adapted to that extreme spice level you wont feel the spice in the dishes.
Went on a Sunday evening and the place was packed! Really enjoyed the drinks, garlic naan and the pani puri 😊
Excellent! Really delicious Nepali and Indian. The chicken momos and achar were awesome. Very tasty main dishes. Friendly welcoming service. A special find. Will definitely come again.
