Review Aix Cafe - Melbourne

Super delicious vegan bahn mi with crispy yet juicy tofu! The baguette used is fresh and on another level from the rest of the pack. My friends hoovered up their pork belly bahn mis and we washed down our delicious brunch with some strong Vietnamese coffee. I personally prefer thinner crepes loaded with syrup but the rest of my group were very impressed (these are served with fresh cream) with the choices of filling. In my mind, I still taste the chocolate and hazelnut crepe. I cannot wait to go back for more. Pictured here: vegan tofu bahn mi and apple & cinnamon crepe

Super delicious banh mi! The roll was fresh and cruncy and the fillings were amazing. The fresh juices are beautiful. We had an orange juice and a watermelon, apple and mint juice 😋

Vietnamese French, me thinks. I had time today for a quick roll and drink after my Christmas shopping expedition. There was utterly harming service here. Quick and friendly. The food was good. A huge roll stuffed with pork and salad. Good spice in it. The cost was extremely modest. It’s a great little place.

Really nice coffee, crepes and bacon and egg roll.

A wonderful and welcoming atmosphere, the staff were nice and understanding with the most delicious nutella, strawberry and ice cream crepe, the ratio was great and even though the shop was on the smaller side it was tucked away in one of melbournes astounding laneways, a true diamond in the rough.

So many lovely places to eat in Centre Place. This little beauty took me by surprise because on first glance I thought it was just a regular cafe but no - it’s so much more. Seating inside is limited but it does deliver big on food and service. The choice is in some ways limited but what they do have is amazing. I tried the lemon crepe. Delicioso. A good size, light and fluffy with a serve of fresh lemon on the side. there are also baguettes, omelettes, poached eggs, quiche and freshly squeezed juice. This Vietnamese run cafe has a lovely owner who is friendly and so sweet. Nothing was too much trouble. Notes: recommend you come early for lunch as it does get busy, suitable for vegetarians and vegans, not really wheelchair friendly to dine inside, kid friendly, takeaway available. Will return and try something else and this time snap a pic of my meal.

This little niche French Creperie with a Vietnamese influence, you may think hmm. FYI there are still some old quarters of French in Vietnam. This place is petite, dining in and outside, so you can do the Parisian thing, have your yummy crepes and enjoy the passer bys! Value for money; my crepe base was fairly thick, not toilet paper thin, with 4 slices of ham, 4 slices of Swiss cheese and copious amounts of tomato. The coffee was good too. Well worth a visit. Staff a very welcoming and friendly. Bon Appetite, Au revoir

Whenever I’m working in the city I make it a must to have my lunch and coffee here. The Bahn Mi is easily the best in town and the coffee is second to none. On top of this, the proprietors Lisa and her husband are the loveliest people you will come across. The two and their team of staff are very warm, welcoming and insanely hard working. Coming here feels like visiting a good friend - they will remember everything about you and genuinely be interested - not just remember how you take your coffee. Their food, coffee, prices, service, location are all second to none. In all honesty, I do wish I could have two hour long lunch breaks just so I could sit there, people watch and chat to the owners. Great place.

A small hidden Vietnamese influenced creperie in a cute lane. It's very small but coming after lunch hours there were usually seats.

The owner Lisa was super adorable and funny, always so fun to talk to!

Had the veg lasagna twice and I liked them. They can look bit unstructured but I liked the flavour and the components in it. Could be less watery but nonetheless enjoyable.

Had the yoghurt and blueberry crepe and it was just good, not the best I've had. The crepe itself was bit bland i think and a bit doughy so could be improved.

The pork banh mi though was yummy, portion was really generous, pork was flavorful, and we had the crispy bun as she recommended it and it was perfect.

Overall, a really cute place for some affordable good bites in the city.

( follow for more!🌸)

xx,joelle.

The bbq pork banh mi and Vietnamese ice coffee was excellent. But the service was fantastic! The owner was very friendly and approachable which made the experience better.

Day 2 started with breakfast at Aix café, just a street over from Degraves St. I’ve only tried one or two in the area. Most places you can get into without a booking. Aix cafe was selected because the crêpes looked delicious and the food was reasonably priced. The place is really small and they only had one table that could accommodate us.

I can’t say I wasn’t concerned when I turned up and there were no French people in sight. However, the coffee was great!

This little crepe shop is located along centre place where there are a wide range of small eateries.. aix does a mean crepe we had the Nutella and also the Vietnamese bbq Pork which was really very good.. the crepe itself was soft and not too dense.. the nutella crepe had just the right amount of sweetness and the bbq pork had all the flavours of a banh minh.. aix also sell a number of sandwiches at its front counter.. We had a Vietnamese coffee and also a cuppa.. which was a great start to the day..
The owners of the place were super friendly and were very approachable..
Overall a great experience and would definitely come by again..

I visit this place quite often. you can get a decent meal and drink for a decent price. Introduced the place to many friends who came to stay from overseas and every single of them said that the coffee and crepe here was so impressive. My fav is smoked salmon crepe and lasagna is very nice too. coffee is really strong which is good. I usually get coffee or chai latte but from what my friends told me, smoothies are very nice too :)
Quince And Cheese
Disappointed by what looked like a good vegetable crepe lasagna. It seemed so nice in the window, but came out over cooked and messy with little flavour. I would've rather eaten it cold, as it looked much better this way and had a nice stack of fresh veg at the bottom. I really want to like this place, so I hope they up their game.

Great staff. Comforting home style food. Generous servings and very cheap for quality. $12 for 2 eggs, avo and coffee. Really enjoyed this place

This Vietnamese-influenced crepe restaurant tucked away down Centre Place was something of a revelation to me. I love Vietnamese cuisine and was pleasantly surprised at the Vietnamese crepe on offer here. The folded crepe had a filling of BBQ pork, pickled carrot, cucumber, and coriander topped with a drizzle of tangy plum sauce. We also grabbed a classic sugar and lemon crepe which was a lovely light dessert and I was pleased that it was made with real freshly squeezed lemon.

Saturday 09 December 2017 at 1.30pm.
Really friendly staff 😊😊 in a small setting.
I opted for the Ham Crepes - these were pleasant and filling.
The coffee was standard.
All in all a nice visit 👍🏻
Vietnamese BBQ pork rolls very good. I love that place
The service fantasies. Food is cheap ,Tasty yummy and fresh.
Breakfast so good . Fast service quality number one.
Staff so cute and sweet. I love everything at this place . 10 over 10.
Well done guy. I love you
Been here twice

First time: Overall, food was very nice and satisfied with the friendly service but in the end right when i was cleaning up my plate of the special crepe, i found a piece of hair ._. thought it was fine since I had already finished everything anyway so i kindly let the waiter know that there was hair on my plate and showed him. His response was utterly shocking, he had a laugh and said "oh it's okay, that's alright, just act like it didn't happen yeah?" I mean, your chef clearly dropped his hair into my food and that's the kind of response I get for letting the staff know even though it was their fault 😂 Hope this does not happen again or to anyone else.

Second time: Decided to come here again and give them a second chance, but they had a change of management. Service was super nice, the waitress was the cutest. Food was of the same standard, I had a way better experience this time. 👍

This place is located at the end of Center Place towards shopping areas. Awesome friendly staff welcomed us to the seat and very patient waiter took my son's special orders. All dishes served beautifully and good size beef lasagna had fantastic taste with lunch price only $10!
Beautiful latte art with light flavored milky weak coffee.
Really recommend Beef Lasagna here.
Split The Bill
We were walking through Degraves st when we saw this little cafe which sells crepes, baguettes and various drinks at a reasonable price. We sat outside and ordered the crepe special which was a crepe topped with nutella fresh strawberries and smore served with icecream $10, the sticky date with caramel sauce and ice cream $9 as well as two milkshakes. We found the crepes to be thin and crispy around the edges, just the way we like them. Give this cafe a go if you are in the area, the bonus of eating in is that you get to listen to live music playing while you eat.

Went there a few times but my last visit was a bit disappointing. The crepes were thick and Aix was not generous with the ingredients. The crepes (both sweet and savory) were not-so-flavoured. Well, to be fair, I had pleasant dining experience during another two previous visits... wouldn't mind going again and hope that it would not be disappointing anymore :)

Incredible service, tasty and cheap baguettes and awesome crepes! Baguettes are $5 during lunch hour. We had the roast beef and tuna baguettes, both were good for quick lunch. Also ordered the nutella with banana and strawberries crepe to share. The staff very kindly served it on two plates for us. Awesome place with affordable food where customers are king!
MN-A
Tasty crepes here! We had the chili con carne crepe, the mushroom and spinach crepe, and finished off with the lemon sugar crepe. Fast service... It's a great option when we're after a quick lunch
Amid
Absolute Gem of a place! Went there and ordered Focaccia (veggie one) , Mocha , Salami Crepe and the special Nutella crepe deal. Focaccia was very average 3/5. Salami Crepe was very tasty 4.5/5 and Nutella crepe value for money and had everything 5/5 (Ice cream, Nutella, Strawberry Oreo and ....) . Coffee was great as well. Orders were given fast and served well. It is not super cheap but surely fair price for CBD. Only issue is the space as you need to sit in a way that your back doesn't hit the person behind you. I guess that's the issue along lanes Flinders anyway.

Great service, delicious food and very affordable. I was visiting Melbourne and was determined to have a crepe before I left. On my last day in Melbourne my friend and I stumbled upon this little place and had breakfast there. It was so good I took my brother back there for lunch.

This crepe place may be tiny & hard to find but handsdown does out of this world delicous crepes! Perfection. So good I forgot about taking a photo. 👌

Tucked all the way at the back of Centre Place is this cosy little creperie. I came here a bit after 1pm for lunch and all the tables inside were taken inside and take-away orders were constantly being placed. I had to sit outside and the wind was chilly! Thankfully not for long as tables were freed up by the time the staff came back to take my order.

Had a great breakfast here! Great cozy atmosphere and very polite. Had the salmon capers and spinach crepe and it was tasty. Would defiantly do it again!
Vivien
Great little place to pop buy for lunch or morning tea. Consistently good crepes and nice coffee. Spacing is a bit tight, but it is in a very convenient location!
Chantel Charchalis
Canadian waitress was helpful and quick with taking orders and serving - nice girl too! Soy latte was perfect. The $12 omellette with spinach, mushroom and tomato + coffee was a happy bargain. Personally I would have loved poached eggs but the only options were omellette, fried and scramble. Omellette was a bit milky and needed a heap of salt and pepper for flavour. Also the bread wasn't crispy as it was standard multigrain rather than sourdough. All in all can't argue with $12.
FoodHedonist
We ordered their beef lasagna and Italian meatballs with salad. Both the dishes tasted so good; had the home made touch to it and so hearty. The service is warm and they look after you. Also,i think the food is well priced, great value for everyday lunch. Will surely return

Ate lunch here today as it's a short walk from work. Seating is a bit limited as it's a small little cafe, but the crêpes were fantastic. I ordered an egg, swiss and parsley savoury crêpe, but because i haven't had French-style crêpes for ages, I decided to order a dessert one also (banana Nutella). They timed it perfectly so I finished my savoury and pretty much received the next one. Will definitely eat here again.
Biscuit Musca
I have been to this place so many times and took everyone I know to this place. The white chocolate raspberries and coconut crepes is a must try. Thinking about it makes me salivating.
Flho
A very small cafe situated near Degraves St offering crepes and baguettes at very reasonable prices. The staff were very cheerful and friendly, and service was fast. I ordered the pear, walnut and maple syrup crepe for $9. The crepe itself was thin and slightly crisp, which I liked. They also offer a range of savoury crepes - my friend ordered the mushroom crepe which she also thoroughly enjoyed.
Food1995
Been coming here for a while, love the crepes.
My usual favourite is the savoury mushroom one, but the sweet crepes are excellent too. Affordable and lovely service.
Lily Song
It's different from Japanese crepe. The wrap isn't as proper as the Japanese one. Maybe they r different style in themselves. However, I prefer the Japanese one's wrap. Anyway, looks like here it offers more netulla which makes the crepe full of fillings. Still worth of a try.
Georgina Newton
The staff was really friendly and the food was excellent. The price was very reasonable. I enjoyed the atmosphere that accompanied my breakfast.

$5 tasty rolls, good selection of rolls in the middle of cbd cant go wrong! 👍👍
Laneway next to famous degraves street.
Selection of other food and coffee/tea too

I still can't decide whether these crepes were bland or whether I just don't like savoury crepes, but they get the low score for the service.
Eva Huang
The crepes here are delicious! Had the tiramisu crepe last time and it was perfect - crepe was soft and neither too thin or heavy and there was just the right amount of filling and coffee syrup drizzled on top. The serving size was very generous, which seems to be a rarity in hospitality these days. Service was friendly and attentive. I'd be there everyday if I live in Melbourne!
Vikrant Chaudhary
Amazing crepes. Had the trout crepe yesterday which was absolutely amazing - barely resisted the banana and Nutella crepe. The service can be a bit slow at busy times.
Daniel May
Cosy cafe in one of Melbourne's cosiest lanes. Usually get the Peking duck crepe. Food ok. Bit crampy. Probably prefer Roule Galette first, if possible.
Icis
Went here to get some light lunch after some stroll to the Art Centre. Located in the corner, you can almost miss the place but the name makes it stand out from other places on that lane. There are several choices of rolls, however, we went for the savoury and sweet crepes. I think it was the best decision.
Clarinna
They offer a wide range of menus from baguettes, savoury and sweet crepes. The crepes are kinda thick and not crispy on the outside. They are good but i kinda like Breizoz more. I can tell that the ice creams are homemade, because they are creamy taste really light after.

Needing some Q&Q (quick & quiet) time last week, I decided to drop by Aix on Centre Place (near Degraves Street) for lunch. Decided to be a bit of a pig and ordered a savoury crepe - field mushrooms, taleggio cheese, and spinach ($8); and a sweet one for dessert - good ol' lemon & sugar ($5). The crepes are made so well here! Of course, once it's been folded up it's hard to appreciate the delicate thin crepe for what it really is. This place uses the same crepe batter for their sweet and savoury crepes - and I like it :) Most other creperies use buckwheat flour to make their savoury crepes (called galettes). This savoury crepe is the one that I order EVERY time I eat at this place. Took me a few minutes to muster up the courage to whip out my phone (yes, I'm still using my phone to take photos) to photograph the crepes. I think I need to practice doing this with more confidence... But anyway, back to the crepe - I just can't seem to order any other crepe because this one is so well-bal
Dining Nirvana
Alas - the photos don't really do the crepes justice - as you can't see the delicious fillngs - but I can tell you from experience, this is a beautiful crepe. The mushrooms are sliced field mushrooms, packed with that gorgeous earthy, funghi flavour and the taleggio adds just the right amount of cheesy goodness. And spinach makes it healthy for you... right... ?
Foodlovesmymouth
I've realised savoury crepes have a tendency to be softer compared to sweet ones which are generally crispier like when I went to Roule Galette or even to Le Petite Creperie.
The World Loves Melbourne
A trendy creperie which offers a great selection of menu items and awesome coffee! I’m not sure if I’ve seen many creperies in my time. And wonder if it’s more a European thing? My experience of crepes has been mainly of the sweet variety with strawberries and cream.
Let Me Feed You
The crepes are good. Really good. On the day I went I began with a savory crepe with field mushroom, teleggio and spinach, which was brilliant, especially the tangy pungent taste of the cheese. The crepe itself is the perfect thickness: not stodgy nor flimsy.

When you just cannot hold out between main meals, grab at crepe at Degraves!

It did not disappoint. The service could have been a bit better, but I do understand that they have been a rushed of their feet. Never the less the atmosphere is still good. I loved the music and the display of the baguettes outside. They looked so tempting. From what I read they do gluten
Sweet And Sour Fork
...slightly experimental formula (peking duck crepes, anyone?), the crepes at Aix are less paper-thin, and more of a pleasant halfway between a traditional French crepe and a pancake. The fillings were fresh and yummy, and included actual sprigs of fresh basil! A perfect example of quality over quantity that didn’t leave me feeling over-indulged.

Centre Place is like this - an iconic lane-way with inspiring street art and enough cafes to give Melbourne its cafe culture tag. I'm now trying a new coffee place each week, and this time it was AIX Creperie. Ok, I admit, I have been here before - but not since blogging, so not for a long time. The breakfast special attracted us with scrambled eggs with spinach and parmesan on toast with a 'hot drink' for $8.50. It feels a bit indulgent to order breakfast on a weekday, but this was tasty and simple; moist folded eggs with cooked baby spinach and parmesan throughout. The grained toast was well buttered, and overall the meal was adequately sized and enjoyable. The coffee was milky but still had flavour (although subtle). I could have sat here for hours, watching the cool passers-by, who were undoubtedly more creative than

We ventured down from where we live (I'm too geographically inept to guess what direction it was) towards the river. Aix is located in a network of lanes and it was a treat for us just to walk through. I loved the hole-in-wall food stands (including a sou

I'm not sure if it was just the style, or because they were still setting up and prepping for lunch, but I was pretty disappointed.

Aix Café Creperie Salon is the first of many tiny shops that line Centre Place, a grungy European-style laneway where the graffiti is artistic and the only traffic you’ll find is by foot.

And speaking of sweeeet, check out this selection of crêpes. If Aix can one-up Le Petit Francais on anything, it'll be on pure variety and originality. Orange Blossom Honey? Rosewater Yogurt? Blood Orange and Burnt Sugar?!
MEL: HOT OR NOT
Aix Cafe Creperie Salon is a stalwart out of all of the tiny-perch-on-the-pavement cafes lining bustling Centre Place. As the name suggests, the café serves crepes and since my last visit a few years ago it has also increased its offering to standard brea

Let down this visit. Normally I love this place and always tell everyone to visit, but was left disappointed last weekend after ordering lemon crepes, the crepe was hard on the outside like it had been in the sandwich press and could actually taste burnt cheese through the crepe, it was dry with hardly any lemon. I am hoping that this is a once off, as I love this place, was just disappointing that the waitress didn't seem to care when I told her.
Icis
Little place with nice service and options of alternative food. Love the crepes, they have savoury and sweet options. One crepes is enough but two is good. Service was great and they even let my friend to charge his mobile. Great place to go if you're not too hungry. Price is reasonable and food is cook so quick. Will definitely come back.

Cheap and great. Super fast, cheap, breakfast was great and staff were really friendly. Would definitely go again.

Amazing quality and quick service. Absolute gem, will definately be going again!

The most wonderful brunch experience. We were just trawling along Degraves Street and Centre Place for a bite to eat in the morning and decided to head into this little café/eatery at the end of these 2 streets.

We ordered a chicken parmigiana pie to share, along with a cup of coffee.

Service was friendly and the pie was delicious. And we had the pleasure of a street performing trio providing music in a corner of the funky little lane.

The owner offered to move out of my view when he saw me taking photos in the cafe. And what I was most impressed with was the fact that he offered a sandwich to a drunkard who had spent the night on the corner across from his café, and hot coffee to the street performers, all on the house.

What a warm-hearted guy! It's definitely not what everyone does these days.

I'll definitely head back here the next time I'm in Melbourne.

Still raving about it...... OMG, so glad I found this little gem. Sat on the menu for ages because I just couldn't decide what to order. Ended up getting the avocado on sourdough with lime and sea salt! Such an obviously superb combination but I've never seen it before. SO SIMPLE AND DELICIOUS!!! My partner opted for a crepe, one of us had to! The BLT crepe was so amazing I ate most of that also! The coffee was creamy and tasty and I really didn't want to leave. Then the bill arrived....not only was the food and coffee amazing, but the it was so cheap!! I will be back to this one!

What a little jewell in the lanes.... Service, smiles, great food, menu altered to suit dietary needs... And in a lane way that was one of those "this smells nice" places...

Beautifully made Crepes that are just perfect texture and fulsome serving sizes..

This is what lane way culture should be like and what others strive to copy!

Ticks all the boxes. Friendly accommodating staff, excellent crepes with wonderful variety of taste sensations, excellent price. Everyone on our table loved the crepe they chose. What a find. It is obvious the staff/ owners love what they do.

Today another creperie asked my group of friends to wait 20 minutes for a table which was already empty. We walked away and discovered Aix Cafe Creperie Salon. We were greeted warmly and room for five of us was found inside. Our meals arrived quickly and all were as good as we'd imagined from the menu descriptions. If you want a quick lunch and with change from $15 for a crepe and a drink, take a wander down this fabulous Melbourne laneway.

This is by far the best little cafe in centre place now. Great coffee (tick) Friendly staff (tick) Cheap (tick). And as a bonus buskers play music right next to the cafe so lastly - Ambient (tick)
Don't confuse the cafe across the lane Vicolino it's no close to this gem !

Provençal perfection. As an ardent Liverpool fan, I never thought I would bring myself to praise a cafe owned by a Man U (and collingwood) fan!
However, I can't fault the value, charm and consistently good food. Great for brunch. Wish it was open on Sundays

Holy crepe.. AMAZING. I love crepes... savoury or sweet!
and the crepes here are amazing!
tiny place.. but always packed!

Top blokes!. Went there today - again. I love their baguettes. I left forgetting my change but one man chased me down the road to ask me to come back to get my $12.5 back. SOOO appreciative. Thank you. I'll definitely go back

Went for brunch this morning. We had the tiramisu crepe and the salami and goats cheese crepe. They were both AMAZING! Coffee was a little weak but the loose leaf tea was lovely :) We're planning our next trip back already.

Love the ambience. What a great place for a quick bite. Love the friendly owners and the yummy filing variety of creperies! Great food at reasonable prices!

Best in Laneways?. For the Melbourne Laneways this is a bargain of a place, perhaps a little less impressive, though some of the artwork on view out the front is great, and the food is wonderful. I had a salami, goats cheese and tapenade crepe (hold the capsicum) just as I liked and hubbie had the scrambled eggs, parmesan and spinach baguette, which looked nice and he described as OK - high praise indeed. Delicious and reasonably priced for the lanes - coffee was good too.

Went for breakfast in a Sunday morning. Ordered the white choc with raspberry and coconut crepe (but I asked to change to dark choc instead) and the lamb fillet crepe. Both were delicious. Will be back soon

Went here today for lunch and had the BLT crepe.. Absolutely delicious !!! Definitely worth a try. My friend had a prosciutto crepe and she said it was to die for. Coffees are excellent and staff were cheerful and attentive ! Well done aix!!

Great crepes if you have never had a crepe anywhere else in your life. Great service but everything else is woefully substandard

Umm... Well i think it's got quite a pretty atmosphere. And to the person complaining that it's "always packed", i think that should be saying something positive about it.

Had crepe with nutella today and it was as good as the one in Paris. I'm so glad I finally find a place that makes the real deal and it's so close to work :)

Aix En Paradis. Crepes were not ridiculously thin as they tend to be here in Australia. Generous with the filling too. My espresso was delicious. Staff are the loveliest. Can't go wrong here.
Kasper E.
Very cute.. Lovely little joint, but the woman who took my order and gave it to me was quite rude. Nutella and Banana crepe (can't go wrong there) was as you'd expect and the Chai Latte I got was very nice. It was what I wanted and a little more, bar the service.

Not as great as it used to be. Crepe itself wasn't as nice as in the past. The topping was good. Had the poached pear and maple syrup.

I always find myself going back for the almond chicken baguette! It's so addictive...
GoddessWahaha
As it was my first time at this creperie, I ordered a simple lemon and sugar crepe. The lemon was from a bottle, and the sugar was castor sugar (not powdered) and so was grainy and spoiled the taste.
Cosimo0123
Cosimo. Lived in france for many years and brought up with authentic french cuisine and crepes, it was great to walk in a freindly place like AIX Cafe and be delighted by the freindly staff, especially Sofie, her bubbly and freindly nature, and the devine french crepes made it for an absolute perfect start to my day.
Rebecca
Friendly staff but average crepes where the descriptions are extemely embellished. I had the mixed berries with rose water yoghurt. Instead I got store bought natural yoghurt with no rose water flavour. Very disappointing and mediocre May give it another go for the savory Beef lasange crepe.
Transcendancing
Crepe Delights. Tiny, quaint and unassuming this little cafe is a delight with their crepes. I had the special: Mango, crushed amaretti biscuits and rosewater yoghurt and it was light and lovely. All the flavours balanced perfectly! Absolutely recommended for a light breakfast or a midmorning/afternoon snack.
Brent
Nice little place. Different and you have to be put for quick eating / small tables.....(most tables only seat 2)

But it has style, the staff and warm and friendly and the crepes are nice. (A good hangover recovery place).

Oh the the girl behind the machine can make a good long black, something which is getting harder to find in Mebourne.

Crepe everyone?. Of all the creperie salons in Melbourne, sad to say that this is my least favourite. Somehow it's not as 'zing' as its close neighbour and not as 'pretty' as the other creperie up north. (You know, French food should be pretty..)

And what's more, the place is too packed (well it's Melbourne) but yup, their crepes are just not as delicious.
JenShields
Come here almost daily for great coffee, nice friendly staff and cheap! Very small, I would suggest you stop in for takeaway or willing to wait for a table. I haven't eaten here but I have taken home a beef crepe lasagna for my partner and he said it was very yummy and home cooked tasting, I had coffee with another two girls who ordered brekkie and they both raved, looked nice plus the baguettes in the display case look amazing with new and exciting flavors daily

Pas mal. The crepes aren't bad, they're just not very authentic.

The Epitomy of Melbourne. I've been here twice now, the first time I chose a Nutella and cookie crepe and the second time I had the Peking duck crepe and then an apple and sultana crepe for dessert (crepe overkill? Never!).

The crepes are delicious, surprisingly filling, and great value and the menu is all-encompassing. You'd struggle to find a crepe here that you wouldn't love. They also have an incredible selection of teas to choose from, which made my first trip here on a dreary Melbourne day just perfect. On my second trip, I went when it was incredibly busy and yet service was attentive and cheerful. The staff here are genuinely delightful.

It's a struggle to get a seat here at lunch hour, and you may have to squeeze in somewhere a little more cramped than you'd normally appreciate, but it's well worth a visit and the location would be particularly amazing for tourists.
