Souvlaki was awesome. My partner and I had the soft shell crab souvlaki. Best that I’ve had in Melbourne so far. Service was prompt, didn’t have to wait long for our food. Highly recommend Skewer’d.

Yum!!! Had the spartan wrap and the meat was cooked medium rare and it was really tasty. Chips inside were seasoned with something out of this world, God knows what, but I loved it. Reasonably priced so it won't break the bank. I was a tad let down with the menu because everything had feta or other sorts of lactose in it so the spartan was the only thing I could have that was as close as possible to a yeeros (dont know how I feel about crab yeeros). It was pretty busy that I felt like I couldnt ask them to take the feta out of the salad, or change the tzatziki to some other sauce they might have. I'll return when it's not so busy and ask, hopefully I'll get to try other items on their menu.
This place is a personal favourite of mine. The chips are cooked perfectly and are equally as tasty. The meat is always delicious and the pita is garnished with mouthwatering spices. The Greek salad is also a crowd favourite! On most occasions, the customer service has been adequate.
The mixed Yeeros was AMAZING! couldnt fault this place.

I would say one of the best food places in Port Melbourne. Have been here numerous times and have never been disappointed with food.
If you like Greek food or meat out of the spit you will love this place. The meat is fabulously roasted on the spit and filled with flavours. Their pita is fresh and soft, and amazing fresh salad.
Do try this place if you haven’t.
Awesome Greek food spot on Bay Street , Port Melbourne. The skewer plate with the lamb, chips , pita and village salad was fantastic. Reasonably priced at $20. Food was tasty and cooked perfectly. Definitely on my list for tasty take out.
Yum , Yum and Yum!!! If your hungry and want some good food come on down! They have lovely tender meats such as Lamb, Pork and Chicken!! Nice soft pitta bread, lovely dressed salads and tasty chips! This place has never let us down! Lovely little outdoor eating area out the back with nice greek music playing in the back ground and a few tables inside and out the front.
Best greek souvlaki that i ever had! They offer gyro with pork. The flavour, the quantity, the friendly staff and the fast servive it that what makes the diference!!!

Went for lunch and had a chicken yeeros plate and lamb wrap. Everything tasted divine. My favourite was how crispy the chicken and lamb skin was from the rotisserie. Absolutely delicious.
We are regular go-ers of more ‘restaurant style’ Greek food - but I think we’ve found an affordable replacement!

this place was amazing, the gyro's were on point and very much like being back in Greece. The only down side was I didn't get to try the pork as they were sold out! overall a great experience, ambiance was perfect and location of the restaurant!

Some work colleagues and myself ordered some souvos from here for lunch. I was really excited to try the food after witnessing a colleague chow down on a souvo a few weeks ago. What had me at hello was the chips packed tightly amongst the meat and filling, a memory that took me back to the Greek Islands.
I ordered the chicken and it was really good, massive serving and I couldn't finish it all. The chicken was juicy with some crunch on the outside and the tomato mustard marinade was really amazing.

Always fresh and delicious. The meat is well flavoured and tender. The bread and dips are also fresh and well made. The venue, though simple, is still comfortable. I’m always bringing friends here!
Really friendly service and delicious yeeros- the meat is beautiful and tender and I love the pita bread. Only gripe would be to add some lettuce but perhaps that is not traditional and in any case I'm sure they wouldn't have any problems adding it on. Also the onions are perhaps cut a little thick and the chips could be better.
Was going to go to hunky Doris but was so packed so decided to keep walking. Came across this place and wasn’t disappointed. Ordered a lamb plate with Greek salad and pita bread, the lamb was so amazingly cooked, I could eat there every day. Went down well with a pear cider, will Definately Be back,
Just enjoyed The Chick here for lunch which was quite tasty. Plenty of room in courtyard to sit down to a quick meal. Service was efficient and friendly.
Great place to go for a quick and easy meal. The salads are fresh and the meat is good. Lots of menu options to choose from depending on if you feel like pigging out or keeping things on the healthy side, they cater for all. Friendly staff too, even got a hello and goodbye from the chefs in the kitchen.

Skewer’d is much better than a takeaway eatery, however more casual than most restaurants. They have seating options on popular Bay st or out in the back courtyard. They do have seating inside but space is tight.
The food is very consistent and I have never been let down by quality or quantity. We often share the Yeeros journey for 2 and our toddler often eats from this. This option definitely takes you on a journey through Greece. It’s a mix of Lamb, chicken and Pork souvlaki if you don’t want one of these meat options they are happy to adjust to your requirements. On the wood chopping board that it is served on, you also receive Greek salad, cabbage salad, pita bread, Greek-style chips and yogurt dip.
The extremely cheap dining experience and a great place to take the kids. The food service has always been super quick and friendly.

Yassss!! Exactly what I was after. This was delicious. We both had a chicken gyros & they were spot on. I think next time I’d go back and just have a plate of the chicken kebab meat it was so tasty. This will become a fav for sure.

We find that the souvlaki wraps are not great value/size, but typically only go there for the Yeeros Journey plate which is fantastic value, generous serving and consistently good. Love the mix of meats and good flavours!
Amazing food. Staff super friendly. The chicken souvlakia remind me of the ones my grandpa used to buy me back in Greece when I was little. We are very lucky to have the perfect Greek street food in our neighbourhood .

Dropped into port melbourne for a quick Wednesday night dinner. Place we wanted was not open so came here instead and were not disappointed! Had the $35 share platter, food was beautiful and services were great also. Will definitely be back 😁👌✔️

A lovely souvlaki place in Port Melbourne.
I normally order gyros (combination lamb and chicken) with sides of chips, coleslaw, pita bread and tsatsiki. That's pretty traditional and it's basically an open souvlaki. I love making my own mini souvlakis but getting a piece of pita bread and layering meat, adding a chip or 2 with tsatsiki. They have outdoor courtyard style seating.
Pricing is pretty standard.

The complete Greek experience in Port Melbourne. Authentic food and music makes this the perfect place for a quick lunch or group dinner. Personal favourite is the lamb meat plate with fries.

Skewerd is one of my favourite places to eat in Port Melbourne. The prices are very fair for what you get, a full meal for around the $10 mark. However I find their food quite inconsistent, most of the time I absolutely love it, but sometimes it is below average. When it's good the meat is succulent, the pita is fluffy and there's the perfect amount of sauce. When it's bad the pita is dry and black and the meat is dried out, hard and burnt, not enjoyable. The service is always great, and I keep going back hoping it's a good day!

We have been here a few times now and each time it is such tasty food, perfect family environment as well as a wonderful feast for couples and singles!
Today Dana served us and she went above and beyond to make our lunch just wonderful!! Her service is something every restaurant owner should strive for!! She made us feel important as well as serving incredible food from the wonderful kitchen!

Centrally located on beautiful Bay Street I've walked past Skewer'd numerous times and always ended up at the fish and chip place instead. We finally tried it out and wondered why we waited so long. We got the Yerros journey take away which for $35 serves two people three types of meat, pita bread, Greek style fries, tzatziki and Greek salad. There was definitely a decent amount of food in there and the meat was succulent and well marinated. The chips in particular had delicious seasoning. Would go there again
Have only eaten in a couple of times and it is a busy atmosphere but the takeaway never disappoints. Excellent value for money and by far the best Greek food bayside. Meet is always really fresh and tasty, the pita bread yum and salad, chips, tzatziki are all great. Really love the friendly service too - owners are always up for a joke and very welcoming.

This place is amazing. Staff are friendly even when it was packed they still smiled as they walked past. The food is amazing and well priced. We ordered the platter for 2 with all 3 meats and it was to die for. The meat was juicy and the bread was placed under all that meat which made it taste even better. Chips were well seasoned. I wasn't a fan of the coleslaw but everything else made up for it. Definitely going back. Very happy.
Loved the kebAb and the extrA chips inside the wrap .The staffs were friendly. The second time we went there my hubby had forgotten and left his mobile phone on the table , the waitress ran after us outside the shop to find us .That was so unexpected and lovely. I really appreciate and loved the attitude . Definitely recommend here to all my friends :)
The good news it was very very tasty. I had the Pig Out and it was gone in no time. The bad news is the order was wrong for the other 2 I was dining with. Then it took a long long time. All up I would go again.
Came here for lunch, I ordered the lamb wrap and a side of feta chips with a small eggplant dip. My experience here was nothing short but amazing, the lamb wrap was juicy and well seasoned and where as most places the wrap would usually be overdressed and making the wrap soggy, the wrap here stayed in tack and fluffy all the way through. The chips was standard but the eggplant dip was very unique and had a nice meaty taste to it. Definitely recommend everyone to give it a crack! This place will not disappoint!
Went here for a "last resort" takeaway dinner on a Thursday night. Ordered a pig out and yeeros plate. Overall good value for money, pork was tasty and tzatziki was really good. Unfortunately chips were a bit soggy and for some reason I ended up with an upset stomach. I would try this place again, most of my co-workers and my wife say its really good for lunch (fresher food and higher food turnover)... I trust their judgement. Fingers crossed for next time...
Down to earth greek food - my favourite and reasonable value for money. Very welcoming crew, cosy to eat in or quick and easy for take away. Lamb wrap or mixed platter are my favourite!
Absolutly UNREAL! Delish!! Can't not fault them on anything the best wraps I have ever eaten. The staff and owner are always super friendly and fantastic hospitality. Great value for money good takeaway bags so good doesn't go cold. Eat here at least once a week! Keep up the good work

I recently discovered this place, and there is only one in Bay Street, Port Melbourne. Although the food is great an very good value for money, there is not much sitting area and it is busy with waiter traffic bustling through to the SMOKEY cigarette (it's a pity) courtyard with dimmed down lighting at night. The cigarette smoke is allowed to vent through from the back courtyard to the indoors and also from the alfresco in the front, so the poor insiders get all the cigarette smoke and the cold draughts, otherwise, if they made it cigarette smoke free in the courtyard, and with the doors that shut when cold, it would be a much more welcoming place for non smokers. What a pity, since the food quality and value is hard to get for this kind of greek food, that is done very well. I particularly like the pita bread, tzatziki, sliced lamb off the giro (which is particularly tasty), and good greek salad. You can order a bigger serving of tzatziki with pita bread for $7 to satisfy the taste buds. Haven't tried the skewers yet!

I highly recommend this place, best souvlaki's I've had. My partner introduced me to this place, you must try the Pig out souvlaki, this is the only place my partner will eat pork in his souvlaki. To some they may look small, but they are extremely filling and full of flavor.

This place is heaven. The flavours are so authentic it feels like travelling to Greece when you're there. Their Saganaki, presented beautifully but also tasted amazing. Their gyros plate was "Oh my god" good. Their Chicken souvlaki changed my life. I visited a year ago but had to write a review. I want to go back so badly, that place is amazing!

I have been to Skewere'd twice and left with a happy stomach on both occasions.
I ordered the Yeeros Journey both times and loved every bite.
The portion is huge, even for 2 people.
The meat and chips are cooked perfectly and goes together perfectly with a piece of saganaki for entree.

The food is plentiful, fresh, delicious and just so moorish.
We ordered the euros journey for 2, and true euro style it was enough for 4 people.
The photos show the quantity and height of the stack, if your hungry and want that satisfaction of feeling full to the brim after you've eaten , then skewer'd is the place to visit.
There is indoor and outdoor dining , with traditional Greek music playing throughout, just to make your experience more authentic.
The staff are very friendly and always happy to assist.
My only negative for skewer'd is they don't serve coffee, and if your sitting out back on the last table you get a wind draft carrying the fragrance from the toilet 😕

Have had meat platter, the protein chicken breast platter (think was called Greekcian) and general souvlaki and etc.
There is no sit down service though, you order up front and take a number if you're going to sit inside at a table.
They bring the food too you though.
Negative would be there isn't many toilets so if they in use you gotta wait for a while
It can be packed and cramped at times
But other than that, the food is great :)
WOW the food was amazing! Being Greek myself I expect a high standard but the food was delicious. For $35 we got a platter with with lamb, chicken and pork and the trimmings. Will not hesitate to come here in flash. A++++++
When most of the patrons are Greek in this amazing Greek spot, you know that you're onto something good. We enjoyed a delicious share plate with roast lamb, chicken, tomatoes, coleslaw, olives and pita bread. Delicious!

This is a place that you go to an an hour after you leave, you're still saying how great the food was😋 I had a lamb and chicken skewer plate, the lamb was to die for soooo tender, the chicken was great, pita perfect, tzatziki fantastic, with the corona to wash it down.... The best!! My partner had the lamb yeeros and was in heaven, and being Greek he is often critical and hard to please! Traditional simple flavours cooked well, what more could you ask for😄.
A great spot in Port Melbourne to go when you want something filling, and tasty. We usually get the share plate, and it's a full combination of all the best this place has to offer.
The aspect that really put this place above and beyond was the service, everyone working was high, positive energy and engaged. When we asked a question about the food they always answered with passion, you could tell they loved what they were making. The food was also quite good considering the price, come with an appetite because it is a lot of food!
I have had my fair share of spit lamb and chicken however thiers were the absolute best, especially the lamb. Im not having dinner tonight either. Still full! Love the crunchy chips as well. Will be back!
Chicken. Only the chicken! Been here plenty of times and it's always the same, brilliant. The service is as Greek as it gets, accent and all. The food needless to say is great. The bread is always soft and warm and the addition of chips in the souva gives it extra smoothness and flavour. The mustard is always just right and doesn't take over the flavour. If you're feeling extra hungry, hit up a platter, the serving size is massive.
I've had the pork, lamb and chicken but I have to say the chicken is by far the stand out for me. It's not greasy or dripping with fat.
Nancy loves this place too and we once over did it with the platters but it was a challenge we were up for. Took the boys from Sydney here one night and our table looked like a king's banquet with the amount of food. Outstanding.

Very impressed , casual dining with a Greek twist . Make sure you have not eaten before you come and enjoy. The portion sizes are enormous and drinks at reasonable prices. Try the Mythos beer to really enjoy the atmosphere.
Brilliant Greek street food. Tried many but found this one to be one of the best. The service was good and prompt. Food was delivered quick and presented well. Had the lamb and the chicken souva, the coleslaw salad and the chips. Found it priced right. Better than Jimmy Grants. Try it out, you won't be disappointed. I am going back

Very yummy! We had the platter for two which came with pork, lamb, pitas, Greek salad , chips and AMAZING tatziki sauce. It was the best tatziki sauce I have tasted! Very friendly customer service. Highly recommend this place!
By far the best souv i have had in a long time took me right back to greece. Food is fresh filling was generous and prices were fair. Employees were so polite very pleased with quality and service.
Went here last night. It was a smallish place which was pretty empty but probably cos the weather was so bad. Service was nice took awhile to get my food but it was pretty tasty. Generous portions. Had the Mr Olympia meal and the chicken was really nice. Pitas were pretty good too nice and fluffy. Everything tasted fresh even the red cabbage and veges . I'm not huge on Greek food normally but thought everything added up for a good rating.
Favourite eatery in Port Melbourne for many I know. The souvlakis are not huge but very tasty. The chips are the best! Main criticism is that there isn't a fish souvlaki option.
Love this place. Great for a quick and fairly healthy mid week dinner (if you skip the chips of course)! The pork skewers are delicious and the salads and saganaki are really good too. Really friendly staff. In summer it's great to sit outside and people watch Bay Street!
