Certainly one of the best authentic Thai restaurants in Melbourne.
Blown away by excellent dishes such as the rockling fish black pepper, crying tiger, and potato prawn. The sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce made by Andrew is so yummy.
Wonderful service by Sib and Andrew all around . We certainly enjoyed ourselves.

Booking are highly recommended.
We were served by the legendary Andrew who is high on humor and very easy to approach.
We started with Potato prawns, Gai satay and crying tiger.
For mains we ordered Thai chicken fried rice, chicken cashew nut stir fry, Masssam beef curry and beef brisket stir fry.
The food and service was perfect.
The whole staff is really well alert and ready to put customer service first.
Excellent quality display of food and service, really impressed with the experience at Blossom.
Kudos team

We visited Melbourne from Sydney. Gosh! Unexpectedly the food is exceptionally good, sooo good. I love all the food we ordered. Service is great. It's definitely a place you should visit.
Carlos Bravo
The best Thai beef in Melbourne 🤩 super tasty and the portion was big enough. The place looks very modern with fantastic Thai decoration. We'll definitely come back.
Grace Madeline
Really great food and service! The owner gave us good suggestions and even customised a dish to suit my taste better and I love it. The sticky date pudding is also to die for!! Will be coming back in the future!

The thai milk tea sucks but the food is really good. I had the red curry and the beef salad and they tasted amazing. Probably would come back to try more

Had dinner there this evening and we absolutely loved it!! Wish we could come regularly, however we’re from Sydney. Don’t fret, we’ll definitely recommend this place to our friends travelling down south. Naturally we’ll be back next time we’re in town too!

The best Thai restaurant I've been to...!!! From the food to the service, absolutely amazing! All the waiting staff are quick, polite and on top of it all... Sib - fantastic work! I come from St Kilda here even for take away... Highly recommended!

THE best soft shell crab curry i have EVER tasted! I was in curry heaven tonight! All the other dishes were amazing too but wow the crab curry blew my mind!

Great food, good service at a very good price. I'm happy to drive for half an hour to eat here.

Amazing food. The service is beautiful. I really adore coming to this cute lil place. The thai curry is AMAZING!!! Highly recommend it.

As a Thai tourist visiting Melbourne starving for Thai food, this is it, a warm welcome with authentic Thai flavor.

Great food, great people and service and cost is very reasonable. Found one of my favourite Thai places. Will be deff be visiting this place every fortnight or two that I'm in melbourne.

Never felt so welcomed and never eaten such delicious food. My new takeaway and local dinner favourite!

Ordered takeaway last night. The Prawn Dumplings were ok, the Khao pad chicken was rather bland/tasteless.

Food as always great, service terrific, company great.
Always love it there.

Amazing chicken laksa and great customer service. Will be back for sure.

Blossom Thai is yummy. 15 years of reliable, trustworthy and delicious Thai food. Just as hot or mild as you want. Always satisfies, always good value. Lovely people, great Thai hospitality. As long as Blossom is there, we can survive anything!

Guys the Pad Thai was the blandest I've ever had - anywhere. Please taste the food yourself. Live 2 streets away. Very disappointed.

Booked via the EatClub app & received 35% off the total bill 📲

Came here after hiking the Cathedral Ranges. My friend has been here a couple of times & brought us here after our hike. Enjoyed our meal overall, but probs would only be back if there is discount as the food is a lil on the pricey side.

🗓 Visited in February 2019

Blossom Thai is a solid restaurant in our area. We order the same thing every single time because it’s always good and satisfies our craving each time. 1 x chicken pad Thai and 1 x green chicken curry 👏 Good prices, good portions, GOOD flavours.

Amazing from all aspects - ambience, service, food. Would definitely be back again.

What a delicious Thai feast we had here!

I love catching up with friends over dinner, especially when it involves share plates of amazing Thai food! We really enjoyed our meal here, the food was quite tasty, really well priced and the staff were quite friendly (although some struggled a bit with English, but we got by)!

We shared the following dishes and pretty much rolled out the door:

1. Roti Bread & Peanut Sauce
2. Larb Gai
3. Chicken Pad Thai
4. Jasmine Rice
5. Sticky Date Pudding

Went here for dinner on a weeknight and had a variety of dishes from their menu. They were all tasty but the massaman curry definitely stood out. Would go back here again!

Loved the deco, the ambience, the attentive and friendly service. However, the major downside was the food. We ordered lemongrass chicken, beef pad prig, chicken pad kee mao and chicken tom yum soup. All the chicken dishes were overly cooked chicken breasts. There wasn’t much flavour in the tom yum soup either. Of all the dishes we ordered, the pad kee mao were the better one. We had wanted to use ZG, but being Valentine’s Day ZG was not applicable. The owner gave us a complimentary dish instead. It’s a great place, it’s a shame that the food did not lived up to expectations.

My friend and I dined in for dinner last night after seeing Blossom Thai available on Zomato Gold. It's a cosy restaurant but got quite busy while we were there.

We ordered the Lemongrass Chicken and Thai Basil Chicken - both were so full of flavour. They had the perfect amount of chilli and weren't overly spicy.

I found the staff were quite slow in taking our orders and weren't very attentive (didn't top water etc). They also got confused with our wine order and took ages to pack our takeaway bag - but apart from that they were lovely and welcoming.
CoupleOFoodies
Didn't have a great experience here. The sauce for the fish smelled very bad when it arrived at the table. When we told the manager, he insisted it was fresh and that was how it was. He asked if we wanted to order something else but said we would still have to pay for the fish (since it was fine). We declined and only ate the parts of the flesh not touching the sauce. The basil beef was also too spicy after we said less chilli. Overall, was a disappointing experience.
Melb_Belly
Came here for dinner and it was ok. Service was friendly and welcoming. The potato prawns were nice and crispy and the tom yum soup was flavoursome. The beef in our thai beef salad was a bit over cooked making it quite tough. The pad thai had a very tomatoey flavour which was different from the norm. The restaurant is quite cosy and gets quite busy.

Dined here last night using the Zomato gold offer. I was very impressed! I was expecting a casual restaurant but this restaurant was just beautiful. Really lovely ambience - busy but intimate with dimmed lighting and candles.
The service was excellent. The staff were all friendly and constantly checking if we needed anything. I ordered the Pad Khee Mao. It arrived within a matter of minutes and it tasted wonderful. Usually this dish tends to be spicy at other places but this one had a subtle spice which wasn't overbearing. This dish had subtle but beautiful flavours.
I highly recommend this place if your looking for a special place near chapel st.

Good was yummy and service was excellent! Will definitely goo back there again!

place is lovely service was amazing! and we ordered 2 dishes both of them were so good x happy to go back again :)

I’ve been visiting this Thai restaurant for a couple of times, just can’t get enough. The service was good which made me feel like home and the food was delicious. Anyone who visits here should try the soft shell crab, my all time fave.
Keiko Maruyama
Friendly staff and a nice environment. The food was really tasty and prices are fair. Will definitely come back!

As a Goldie, went to checkout this restaurant twice now. Their Pad See Yew is absolutely delicious, not to mention the staff is very friendly. So glad that this restaurant is gold participants, definitely will be back for their delicious food.
Kerri Langton
Delicious food and great speedy service! Been to Blossom Thai twice now and we adore their curries! Creamy and just the right amount of spice! The yellow lamb curry is not to be missed. We also enjoyed the roti with peanut sauce and the cashew nut stir fry, but the curries are the way to go (with the coconut rice).

Came here with a friend for lunch one day, and was not disappointed.
We had the green chicken curry , with rice and the stir-fried vegetables, all the dishes were tasty and the chef was kind enough to modify the dishes for my friend who was on a FODMAP diet.
The price for the lunch deal was attractive and food was delicious - very happy with the service.
Sig
Great food, great service
The food was full of flavour, we had the green curry , chicken squewers and barramundi it was really nice , the service was quick and efficient
We’ll be back

Always seen many ppl whenever I passed by this place, so I gave it a go. I ordered the pad thai and was quite disappointed. To be frank, for the price I paid (which is $17.90), it did not reach my expectations. Taste was ok but not the best.
Kate Dougherty
Simple Thai restaurant with a broad and tasty menu. Between 2 we shared the prawn dumplings, the red chicken curry and the beef with oyster sauce stir fry with a side of coconut rice. Dishes were vibrant and generous.
GoMelbS
Good food, a bit pricey. The ambience was good and the owner was very helpful in selecting dishes. I would recommend trying the Thai curry, it was tasty and creamy.
Tamara Redman
My partner and I enjoyed dinner here for Valentines Day. The staff were lovely and even though we were running a little late for our booking due to traffic, they were so accommodating in putting our food order through quickly so that we could still make it to our movie booking. Food was delicious and we were even given some homemade handmade chocolates in a cute little bag to take home as a Valentines gift. Thank you to the staff for making it a special evening - we will definitely be back again soon!
Picky
Terrible food. Doesn't taste authentic, not even taste like Thai. Been there few times for lunch, no improvement showns. Food taste like amateur Chinese cooking style. Taste more like below average Chinese restaurant than thai. Overrated.
Cherry Chen
Nice environment, friendly service. Tried set menu B for 2. Beef curry is delicious, the beef melt in my mouth. But the dish of the night will be the dessert, sticky date pudding. The fish was way too salty and it was one of the recommended dishes.
Sej
Visited on a Friday night. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food serving was quite large for the price. The taste wasn’t very exciting. We ordered the pad see ew and cashew stir fry. Lots of veg and meat which was great. I wouldn’t say very authentic but if you like things on the less spicy side then this might be for you.
Luke Porter
A fairly standard take away experience from this restaurant. Your usual Thai dishes. I stuck with the tried and true Pad Thai, Massaman Curry and Satay Chicken. Whilst they were all good, nothing blew me away to make me think that this has to be my new go-to Friday night take away. If your looking for decent Thai food, definitely give it a try and you won’t be disappointed. They forgot our order of Roti bread however, so double check your bags before you leave.
Deep Animesh
Very cosy and a nice place for Thai food .we were served by an very friendly and lovely staff , I loved the food . Tried a starter which is golden bag ( minced chicken and corn ) Khao pad which is the fried rice , and grilled baramundi in plantain leaf was the star dish.
And the dessert was yummylicious-sticky date pudding with vanilla ice cream
Definitely would recommend to visit that restaurant once.
I dint have my phone that day so couldn’t click the picture😏

ordered takeaway on Saturday night - veg Thai fried rice...it was a joke! barely any veggies apart from carrot, raw cauliflower, little trace of egg, some burnt rice, minimal flavor....massively disappointing. the kitchen might be having a bad day but that did not stop them from charging $16.90 for the rice! seems like most items on the menu are highly overpriced.
The restaurant location is awesome and the decor and service is not bad at all. pick up your game Blossom Thai.
Francene Panetta
bland pad sew ew. satay was not nice. rice tasted burnt. I have never written a bad review before but I've never had bad thai before... would not recommend
Linda
Bad service (could not be bothered).
Unauthentic and unpleasant flavours.
Could not get a basic pad thai right (too sour and gluggy noodles), pad khing (bland and boring) and red curry (unnecessary spicy, edible but ordinary in flavour).
Surely Toorak Rd/Chapel St can find itself a better Thai food representative!
Georgia Sing
Delicious food and exceptional service. My friend and I had some of the best Thai food we've ever eaten here. The food was so fresh, and they have such a great variety of dishes to choose from, which stray out of the traditional dishes you'll get from most other Thai restaurants. The soft shell crab yellow curry was to die for, as well as the potato wrapped prawns. The staff were extremely attentive and welcoming. We will definitely be returning.
Leo Hogan
My wife and I have visited here a couple of time in recent weeks and have been suitably impressed on each occasion.

A busy spot, we booked a table for this evening's dinner and were quickly shown to our perch by the helpful wait staff. Without a significant amount of deliberation, we ordered the roti with satay sauce as an entree, a Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Pad See-Ew as mains and a couple of soft drink accompaniments.

To sum up the service, we were seated at 6:31pm, our food and drink orders were taken around 3 minutes later and we had everything we'd ordered by 6:40pm.... 9 minutes from seating to having food and drink served after being freshly cooked.... Phenomenal!

The food was very tasty, great, fresh flavours and prepared quickly to order. The serving sizes for all dishes were sufficient for us to have to resort to taking left-overs home. The Pad Thai had a distinct tomato undertone which really added to our enjoyment, while we loved the peanut dipping sauce that came with the roti.

The only half-mark lost was for the slightly cramped seating, which made us feel a little like we were sitting on top of other diners.

Great food and service makes this place well worth a visit and will certainly be seeing more of our business while we're living in the area.
Lachlan Mos
went there let week, ordered Thai fish cake and potato prawns. The Thai fish cake was so crispy outside and favoured inside. For the potato prawns, it tasted so delicious with sweet chilli sauce
Slavujce88
Good atmosphere
Staff not very friendly (mainly because they are really busy)
Service is very slow
Good and tasty food
Affordable lunch special menu
It's a good place to have lunch during the week. They have a very affordable lunch special menu.
Staff is not as friendly but the food is good. Service is slow (sometimes very slow...like 40 mins waiting for your lunch to be served). When we're in a hurry or we have to be in a meeting straight after lunch break, we don't go there because we never know how long will it take.
Good spot and always busy
Good Food Good Mood
Life's all about the decisions you make and choosing dinner here was not a mistake. We sat outside for an early meal (summer nights are *almost* here) and I was loving the central location just off chapel. The food was very reasonably priced and full of flavour.
The menu houses all the Thai favourites and the sauces are generous and authentic. Sauces in Asian cuisine really make the dishes and the dipping sauce on the potato wrapped prawns and the crispy calamari were both delicious. The calamari itself was also exceptionally tender. Mains delightful too

Blossom Thai has been around for a while but no one has written about it. I found this place in the Entertainment book. I got given this book as RNIS are selling them for the Salvation Army. 20% of profits from the book goes to the Salvos for their work with the homeless. Last year it was announced that 247 people are sleeping rough in the city and that harms Melbourne's reputation as a good city to visit and live in. One of the other bloggers on Healthyinternationalstudents site was quite concerned about the number of them that are there.
Eulalia Hunley
Great food, the smell of the spices was fantastic, and every dish was yummy. I love the atmosphere and the food - worth the money. Great location. Liven Resto partner so I got a $50 bonus when I ate here.
Sandra Chen-Yeo
Though I did not expect much, the food is average tasting however the portions are quite big (I ordered their pad thai) if you are looking for a value meal. Anyways, the service is good, staffs are friendly and cheerful. Will come back again.
Marta Cybulski
Total waste of time and money. I could've bought the same crap out of the freezer aisle at Aldi. Small portions and over priced. $25 for a curry half the size of most places. Also the herb curry fish was dry af.
Jean
Average for me when it comes to Thai in the area. The food is nice enough (a couple of dishes are actually great but the standard is not always consistent) and the wait staff is good but it just lacks a certain something to be rated higher such as a distinctive look or a signature dish that appeals to me.
Meryem Arpaci
Great food! 2 vegetarians & 1 vegan & we all enjoyed our meals! Andrew was fantastic. He made our night with catering to our food choices. The food tasted so so great!
Flaming Goose70
We arrived 15 minutes after our booking time and were told that our table had been given away. After much deliberation the manager found a table for us at the rear of the restaurant which actually was better because the front can get quite noisy. Average thai food with no special flavours. Chicken skewers were good as was the Thai beef salad. Service was OK but it was annoying to be served our entrees with our mains. They obviously didn't put it through because we had to ask a few times. Make sure you allow extra time for parking!
Rachel K
Nothing to knock your socks off. Overpriced for the food. $9.90 for 4 small vegetarian spring rolls that were bitter and a prawn tail in my chicken Pad Thai. Staff were pleasant enough but didn't make any effort. Wouldn't waste my money there again.
Samara J.
Great little Thai spot on Toorak Rd. Popped in for lunch. Food is reasonably priced and service is good. I had the Pad Thai and Thai Green Curry which were both good.
Two Sheds
Quick dinner with my old school buddies. We picked this place off the street defying the usual meticulous ratings led selection practice. This is a nice Thai place. It doesn't hit great heights but is still very good. We had the usual fare - spring rolls, curry puffs, pad Thai and various other dishes - and each was good. Service was great. Cheerful and very efficient. Price was slighter higher than I would have expected, but such is life. Nice mid range place.
Mostly Asian
I got the chicken tom yum soup. Luke warm if that, half a tomato, lacklustre flavour, rubbery mushrooms and all together it was portion wise the size if a breakfast bowl.
My friend got the massaman beef with coconut rice. Again, small, too stodgy and both dishes were overpriced.
Also an unappetising stench of burbt good hung in the air.
Won't be back.
Tangertalks
Decent lunch menu/price for Thai food in South Yarra. I had the Pad Thai which was nice but to the average side as it didn't really have strong Thai flavours. (You would probably want to add your own seasoning which is available on the table). It was a fairly generous serving for a lunch special as well. Despite it being busy I didn't have to wait long and I'm definitely curious to try their other dishes.

Rush Rush !!! Let's get this done? Well that's how I felt in terms of service. Felt like we were on a timer or rather staff considered us to be😓
Just another Thai restaurant nothing special food wise, seating well can't complain it is South Yarra :-)
We had Satay skewers and potato prawn in entree, to be honest did not have the touch of Thai !! In mains we had Pad Prig and jasmine rice, finally something blossomed with Thai flavours :-) 3.5 stars is mostly because of the Mains !!
Overall experience was average:-)
Missdelish
Blooming good. Blossom Thai has had some ups and downs with the advent of competitors like Miss Chu. But it's still good quality and value if not the full zing of Thai food you find on holiday.

Dinner brought me back here when the planned venue at Zurouna was scotched by the owners being overseas for a wedding. My friend and l secured one of the last tables in the front dining room and were soon enjoying steamed prawn dumplings, tangy beef salad, steamed barramundi with ginger, and chicken pad thai. This latter noodle dish is one of my all time favourites, but l find the BT version a bit too anglicised for me.

Service is attentive even when busy - water glasses refilled regularly, and notice of a large group about to order so we wouldn't be delayed. It deserves to blossom even more.
ToorakM
It's been a 5/5 kind of night. This place we walk past usually as its on the way to Chapel yet as I'm allergic to seafood I never usually go Thai and I'm not a fan of MSG.

However, these guys were SO informative about what's in the food, and we got a few noodle dishes (pad Se ew) and a hokkien style with chicken and both were full of green vegetables and chicken. Very flavourful even without the added fishy sauces.

With a bottle of Riesling it was $60 (entertainment book) and even without a discount it was a bargain. Definitely coming back!

Rosie Raiti
The Potato Prawn's are delicious, melt in your mouth. Will come here for that dish alone. 😍 Fantastic service, friendly staff and great atmosphere.
Samantics
This is a small local thai with a traditional friendly Thai service with a smile and always has tasty food. We would highly recommend the specials. Pad Se Ew beef and the soft shell crab are some of our faves.
Carmen N
Popped in last night with an Entertainment Book voucher. The service was lovely and foods came out very fast, but the dishes were definitely not the best Thai I've had. Quite average on flavour. Ordered Calamari for entrée and Pad Thai Chicken & Soft Shell Yellow Curry to share. Calamari was alright. Just small fried balls. The dipping sauce was super spicy.Wasn't a big fan of the crab but the curry sauce it came with was tasty w the coconut rice. Pad Thai didn't have enough flavour and was a bit dry. It was definitely a bit pricey. so the entertainment voucher was a good call.
Heidi
Visited blossom Thai last night for dinner with friends as I had the entertainment book Voucher for 25% off. Started with the beef crying tiger for entree and the then had the beef Penang curry and soft shell crab fried yellow curry, along with coconut rice and roti with peanut sauce. It was all quite nice but definitely not as spicy as I would have liked. I particularly liked the dressing that came with the crying tiger salad.
Sachyn Kumar
Very comforting ambience
Happy, genuine friendly staff that was engaging with tips on whats best on menu and was always available when needed.
Great food and will definitely do this again- its a bit fancy type but gives you the value for your money with the experience.
G_n_85
Came across this restaurant as we were walking by looking for a place to have dinner. What a hidden gem amongst the hustle and bustle of busy Toorak Rd! The place was full and I know exactly why. The staff were friendly and attentive even though they were clearly flat chat, and the food exceeded our expectations of Thai dining. Fresh and full of flavour, we will most definitely be back. Fantastic!
Hungry-Caterpillar
Rally good chicken pad Thai. Haven't ordered anything else - really enjoy this one dish.
Good service, I recommend this little spot on toorak Rd. Reasonable value as well
Corena
Decided to try this place out since we had a giftcard.

The service was great and the food was lovely. However, the portions could be a bit larger for the prices listed.

Will be back for easy takeaways!
Snowflower
Had the Mussaman vegetarian curry and Pakrapow chicken. Acceptable standard for Thai food but were a little overpriced. Was expecting more premium type rice for $4 a bowl.
Little Foodie
The food is good, the coconut rice is really great, probs are really good sizes, the only down point is the price is quite expensive, take away is pretty quick, if you like Thaï food defenetly go for it!!!
Courtney
I initially dined here on a friends advice and found the service to good and the food even better - hence i have now visited multiple times! Whilst I agree it is expensive, I found that even though the serving sizes appeared small when placed in front of me, they contained plenty of vege and meat. The curries are delightful - red duck curry is always a hit for me - and the stir frys equally as full of flavour. Would continue to come back here quality thai food.
Jacob Rothfield
High price, disappointing food.
This is not at all "authentic thai food" as is claimed.
The $20 Pad Thai was awful. Was that tomato sauce or sweet chili?
The curry dishes were edible, but they tasted like they were very watery. The Massaman curry had pineapple in it??

Please go to Thailand and learn what Thai food is suppose to taste like.
Melb Eating
Expensive, and underwhelming generic Thai food. For just under $50 a head, our party of three had 8 pieces of deep fried finger food, a small stir fry, a small curry, some roti and a single sticky date pudding to share. Aside from the fact the pudding and roti where not even Thai, for $50 a head I expect to eat better than if I had made it myself from a can. The only saving grace was that the stir fry was tasty.
Vanessa Romero
Delicious food and good service! We went for dinner and loved the place. Best pad thai I have ever had and a delicious larb! Definitely would go back

Cute little place we love it very warm and cosy. The service is great they're very attentive. The food is delicious have not had one bad dish. The Devil curry salmon is my favourite and the Thai basil chicken is great too definitely has some kick to it.
Evica
Me and my fiance, we are both big fans of thai cuisine, that's why we went to Blossom to try something authentic and it turned out to be an amazing culinary experience. Tom kha was the best version of this soup I have ever tried! And trust me, I've tried a lot of them:).
Every curry we ate was just perfect and the service was also great.

It's such a shame that we live 18 000 km from this place... I really don't think that they would deliver to Poland ;).
May
Fancy ambience, food is expensive and quality is not reflected in their prices. Had stir fry noodles -tasted funny, and their masamman beef curry - the beef was not tender at all!
S O P H I E M A R E E
Food was a bit disappointing: quality didn't reflect price. The satay chicken was boring whilst the Pad Thai was dry. The only positive was the massive fishbowl cocktails.
Adriannalovesfood
Nice ambience and friendly staff. The Tom Yum soup is so yum! Portion sizes are quite small. The food is good but it's not the best Thai food.

Best thai we've had in melbourne so far! Have been here twice, both times takeaway.
Pad see eew and Tom yum soup delicious.
Not cheap but delicious quality thai

Had heard good things about this place so had fairly high expectations! The food was delicious! The service was great, would def go back and they do takeaway as well which is good!

Everything we ordered were really good, although I couldn't remember what as I wasn't the one ordering. Authentic Thai and friendly service. Recommended if you're in Chapel st or Toorak/South Yarra area.

Great food and staff! Would highly recommend!

Good food and service. Had a great meal and couldn't complain about the service. I had the special snapper which was superb as were the veggie spring rolls. I'd give it an 8/10
Foodlovesmymouth
They're quite vegetarian friendly here - most dishes you can get vegetarian, chicken or beef or prawn (in increasing order of price). Since T and I don't really like prawns we just went for chicken or beef which was the same price. I love red curry so we got Gaeng Dang (Red Curry) - Thailand's favourite red curry, Thai spices coconut milk and sesasonal vegetables - beef for $19.90
Yasmin Safia Lennie
I ordered the red curry and it had so many traditional fruits in it instead of vegetables, it was something that you don't see very often at restaurants around here.

The great thing about this place is that it has many vegetarian dishes. In fact, nearly everything has a vegetarian version. I ordered Phad Thai and Gaeng Massaman curry. The Phad Thai was more traditional than some with the inclusion of tamarind (the ess

First time, ambience was good. Staff was friendly. Had prawn dumplings, pad Thai, red curry chicken & thai sweet sauce who snapper. Overall, food was but bad especially the curry. Snapper cane out half cooked. Had to sent back & staff told us they had to cook another fish that took 45 minutes. I always give the restaurant another chance to excel ... Will be back for more.

DINER FROM MELBOURNE. The food from this restaurant was marvellous and the staff were so kind, it was like a good dream coming to life.

Great food and great service. I go here occasionally when down in that area. The chicken satay skewers are absolutely amazing. I also love the pad Thai and the salad. The staff are friendly. Great Thai restaurant well worth checking out.

Good food, nice people.. Very good food, reasonable prices. Contrary to some other reviews on here I have found the staff nice and helpful. While a few may not be fluent in English they provide good food knowledge and experience. I suggest those who find the staff rude may lack patience and understanding of people from different cultures. I have also noticed good interactions between staff and regular customers.

- Pete

Shocking Service and Extremely Rude Manager. Walked in to make a booking and found staff extremely rude and unhelpful.
I was wanting to make a booking for a Christmas function and the front of house manager was extremely rude, did not show any interest nor did he take any care in assisting my group booking.
I basically walked out informing him that he should learn how to welcome clients into the Restaurant.
A great shame and would not dine in this place until such a time that there is a management change.

Contemporary westernized Thai restaurant, not so authentic but food was okay. however with the semi fine dining price we are expecting a much better service. Very disappointed with inpatient and unprofessional service. After all have happened, the waitress was still forcing you to tip.

Really good thai food. I had a dinner with my family for my dad birthday. It was excellent and great time at blossom thai

Yum!. First came to BT in 2009 and been here a handful of times since. Most recent visit was the weekend, the owner was so friendly, kept pouring us water, introduced his menu thoroughly with us. The food came out not soon later, and was fresh and delicious not to mention the ambience was intimate and cosy too. We ordered the lemongrass beef and the duck curry! delicious! Will definitely be coming back !!:)

From bad to worse. Poor service, less than average food and attitude a-plenty. So much for service

Beautiful Food at Blossom Thai. My partner and I stayed at the Como across the road and discovered this gem on our last night. We had the Panang chicken and tha special fried rice with the Goong Yang for entree. GREAT FOOD at a fair price. We shall return!!!

Aaagh If you want real Thai.... Aaagh
If you want real Thai food this is not the place to find it. Bland, tasteless, kiddie-Thai - where were the chillies and the fish sauce?

Food was overcooked, bad service, everyone got their food earlier than me, but I am the first one walked in. Not nice and authentic Thai food at all. Disappointed!

Simply delicious. Popped in with no reservation, promptly seated and served without feeling rushed. All dishes delivered in the appropriate amount of time and all delivered with a smile. The money bags for entree were just okay but the mains were sensational - the red curry was perfectly spiced and rich in coconut, with the cashew nut chicken stir fry an ideal partner. Servings were large enough to leave us feeling very satisfied and full. Great atmosphere and good layout, fast efficient service with all drinks delivered in under 2 minutes from ordering. They also have a nifty app that can be downloaded and that contains specials and other info. Will be back.

Great for lunch. The $10 lunch special is good value and the food is always great, especially the red chicken curry with Roti bread and the oyster chicken. I don't think I could pay the full prices though in the evening, but $10 is definitely a bargain and we always enjoy coming here for good food and service.

I had gone out without her the previous night and got back the next morning. We hadn't seen each other and spent good quality time for a couple of weeks. It was under this umbrella of anticipation that we embarked on 'date night' at Blossom Thai; A restaurant we had never been to but seemed nice enough from the outside.

The atmosphere is lovely and the service was passable but the food was neither (the fish cakes being the only exception).

A salad called Gado Gado arrived smothered in a satay-like sauce. Inconveniently large chunks of lettuce, canned (likely) pineapple pieces, tomato wedges, cucumber slices and a few tofu pieces completed what I thought would be a nice, light Thai salad. What I received was a plate covered in thick satay sauce. The sauce completely took over the salad. Everything tasted like sauce. A complete mismatch of flavours.

The major disappointment of the evening was the Salmon. Salmon is a 'fishy' fish I understand but a fresh piece should have less 'fishy' tones than did the dish in question. A fillet was promised. If I ever order this dish again, perhaps I will find the other half of my supposed fillet. The chefs did not adjust their cooking time from 'fillet' to 'thin pieces'. As such, the fish was overcooked and lacked tenderness. Not so surprising was that it was covered in the same (or a very similar) brown sauce as the salad. There was no mistaking it, unfortunately for me, the salad and the salmon, the sauce was the star of the show.

Bad service and food took more than 40mims to arrive. Would not recommed it.
