Food is fantastic, reasonably priced and great portions. We had our work xmas party there and the staff were very accommodating to our needs, the service was impeccable! It's a very relaxed and friendly environment, if you want great Thai food you will find it here.
This is one of our the favourite place for Thai food in Melbourne. Other than the food been perfect, I would like to bring thank and appreciate the customer service of one particular person.
We were there for dinner last night (28/10/16). She is the smallest person with the biggest personality(apologise for not remembering her name). Although my order was mixed up, she had no hesitation to take back my dish and deliver what I want. I did not have to argue or get angry because of the way she handled it.
This is a good example to all the young people who work there, KEEP YOU CUSTOMERS HAPPY. I have no hesitation to go there when ever we feel like having Thai food or to recommend to our friends.
Awesome food and very friendly people
Highly recommend
We went there for a mothers day dinner. Considering they were extremely busy. Staff and service were amazing. Friendly, fast and efficient. We ordered our food. And we were so happy with the taste. We will be returning. Can't wait for our next celebration.
Such a yummy meal. Always a good reliable & delicious meal. Great service & friendly staff. The only thing wrong with it, is it's not close to my house. Thank you
Excellent food and service, we were a group of 8 and everyone loved their food
Great service and delicious food. I came with a group of 12 people and not one person was disappointed. Banquet menu was more than enough spread of food! Thanks, will be back!
Great ambience, good food, and friendly service. Our fav Thai place to go to for a nice Sunday lunch!
Delicious pineapple fried rice. Other dishes are very flavoursome and value for money. The only minor issue we had was that one of the staff was spraying down the table next door and we got some spray on us. Luckily there wasnt any food on the table yet.
My go to Thai place for pineapple fried rice, calamari and soft shell crab :-) yum
This is such a lovely space, but it can get load... I suppose that's a sign its great enough to draw the crowds!
Pad Thai on point. Staff very attentive.
The staff were extremely polite and accommodating to our request to swop a dish which turned out to be unsuitable for a special needs child in our group. The manager kept on checking in with us to ensure that everything was alright. The food was delicious and good portion sizes. Amazing night out, our guests were initially a little hesitant at the restaurant being a little too formal for their child but the staff really went over and beyond to make us feel comfortable and to enjoy our dinner. We left really impressed with the level of service and quality of food at Paradise Road!
There is only one food I can review on this but I will just give my comments based on how I see other's reactions...
My workmates and I went for dinner last Thursday night. I ordered the pork spare ribs with spicy sauce. It was heaven and to die for. It cost me $28 and totally worth it. It's a big plate. I didn't order any appetizers but some of us did. Some ordered the dumpling and spring roll. The dumpling was quite very presentable. Based on how it looks and how they commented out of it, definitely to try for. A lot of them ordered the pad thai - some with prawn, beef and chicken. Great because of heaps of options on what the customer wants. All of them have clean plates after. Left seatmate had the green curry - she was expecting that it will be spicy but it's not at all. She had the blueberry mojito - it's very colorful. And had the long island ice tea after - I was expecting more on that drink on how will it be presented. Right seatmate had the skewers and the soft crab. My eyes turned so huge when I saw the soft crab. I was craving for it as well but not regretting my pork ribs at all.
I want to try the chilli prawns next time.
Extremely good service, my glass was filled throughout the night and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was fresh and tasty and many dishes could be made vegetarian.
Food is delicious at Paradise Road. One of the best Thai restaurants in eastern suburbs. Service is very welcoming and atmosphere is very comfortable. Definitely worth going.
Arriving at Paradise Road, we were greeted immediately and shown to our table.
The place had a lovely atmosphere and the decor was beautifully authentic.
The food, was absolutely delicious and clearly prepared with a lot of passion & love. The flavours were beautiful and when I asked for spicy, that’s exactly what I got. Was a pleasure to dine here. Could not recommend this place more highly.
We absolutely loved the food here at Paradise Road! The red duck curry was beautiful and the satay sauce was so peanutty - yum yum yum! The sauces accompanying the satay skewers were to die for! Definetly would come back here again and make sure to book! ☝️
Paradise Road really changed my craving for Thai. It's not the type of cuisine I usually go for, but after having lunch there the other week, I was blown away by the flavours and the quality of the food. Staff were lovely and I've already made another booking to eat there again!
Authentic Thai place found upon research on Zomato for a place to dine on New Year’s Eve. Service was quick and foods were authentic and delicious! It’s a bit on the pricier side in my opinion, but very well worth it.
This is my second visit to Paradise Road and it is consistently good. We ordered vegetarian spring rolls, satay skewers and roti for entrees. Decent serving sizes for entrees. We ordered two of each dish for 7 ppl. For mains we recommend the pad see ew, bbq chicken, barramundi fillets and penang chicken curry! So much flavour in every bite! We'll be back!
All food are delicious here. We r so lucky to meet with the special menu, seafood dishes. Partner always remembers what I love - soft shell crab. Lobster tail is perfectly grilled with fantastic sauce. The salad can be better as the beans are too raw.
Lovely Thai place with good service and delicious food. We like to order their whole fried fish with papaya salad, their green curry, tom yum soup and their pineapple rice that comes in a pineapple is a must order. The food is flavourful and well-presented.
Usually prefer green curry however the red curry with veg and tofu went down a treat with coconut rice! Creamy with a nice spice kick. The BBQ pork ribs were tender, slightly sweet and smokey too. Substantial mains however milk tea wasn’t really my thing but will be back!
I really love the food it so tasty. I will come back again. ❤ service is quite OK but still need improvement on professional. But really so nice, highly recommended.
Best Thai food I’ve tried in Glenny so far. My friend and I had a Tom Yum chicken noodle soup each and shared some fish cakes and oysters as entrees. Fish cakes are hot, spicy and flavourful, paired nicely with the sweet tangy sauce that comes with it. The Tom Yum was hella delicious and comforting to the max. Broth is rich in herbs and aromatic flavours but also refreshing, keeps you wanting more. They used chicken breasts but the meat was not dry or tough at all. I assumed they’ve marinated the meat in advance. Overall everything was on point. I’ll definitely go back to try out other stuff.
On a side note, Menu is slightly pricier compared to other average Thai places around the area but definitely worth the quality of food.
I’ve visited this place many times but never got around to giving them a review. I’ve been going to this place for more than 3 years and I honestly believe they’ve always provided the same quality regardless of whether they are busy or quiet.
Their food has a lot of flavour, I ordered red curry, green curry, pad Thai and few of their stir fry’s, all of them had a lot of flavour.
Their service is quick and nice, ambience is great.
This place has all the things I would like in a place and I believe this restaurant is a must try.
Really really good food (I had the Massaman Curry). Very friendly staff and the venue has a snug cozy feel. Prices a a tad high, especially for the lunch dishes.
Came here last night for dinner. We ordered the fish cakes, penang curry and pineapple fried rice.
Fish cakes were average unfortunately. They were abit spongey in texture and the flavours didn't really work ( in my opinion). The sauce on the side was very nice though.
The Penang curry was beautiful. We ordered it with tofu and vegetables. The curry wasn't too sweet and had a decent amount of both tofu/veg.
The pineapple fried rice was very good. The presentation was on point. Great flavours.
One of the nicer casual dining locations for Thai food in Glen Waverley. Booked a table for a large group (12) for dinner on a weeknight.
The service here is great even though it was very busy (usually busy for dinner!).
We ordered an array of noodle/rice/curry dishes (unfortunately I only photographed 2) including pad thai (chicken) and pineapple fried rice.
The rice had a pleasant sweet flavour from the pineapple not to mention being served in pineapple!! However the pad thai was quite wet (almost soggy?) with a lot of fish sauce. Given the pricing was $19 (chicken option) it isn't too hard to find a better one that's cheaper.
If you do visit, order the rice dishes or any of the curries instead!! Enjoyed the flavours and textures for those much more. For now I'll probably satisfy Thai cravings elsewhere.
Very much enjoyed our dinner here. Ordered the Pad Thai, coconut rice, tiger prawn rolls and soft shell crab special. Everything we ordered was great and tasted delicious. Service was fantastic also, very friendly and polite staff. I'd return absolutely.
We ate at this restaurant this evening. Service was great, our host recommended the perfect combination of dishes. The place was packed being a Friday night but service was quick. Food didn’t take long at all to come out and it was delicious!!! We had the Sizzling Chilli Prawn special along the with ribs special and pineapple rice. Servings were large, food was full of flavour. Staff were all friendly and efficient. Will definitely be returning.
Very tasty food and relaxed atmosphere. Food came out quite fast too, considering the restaurant was full. I would definitely come back again.
I went here on a date. It feels as if the essence of Thailand is concentrated in the food and ambiance in paradise road. The staff were friendly and the service impeccable, never once was my cup empty. Thank you it is truly paradise!
The place is fairly small so with about 3 couples each with a child, it gets pretty cramped. Dinner time on a Sunday is extremely packed. Lucky for us they were able to cater for walk ins. Food was great and staff members were extremely welcoming. The waitress with glasses deserves a pay rise with her impeccable customer service! Will definitely come back.
We had tiger prawn roll, papaya salada and salt and paper calamari and food was very nice.
The service was very good and food came very quickly.
Food was great and better than I though. My friend took me here and we had seafood pad kee mao and gaeng keo whan with rice. So good !! Hope we gonna have time to visit again.
Enjoyable dinner on a busy Saturday. The food was great. The service was excellent. We were a party of 12 on a saturday night...a challenge for any restaurant. Entrees, soups, mains and desserts. Approx 40 p.p. and well worth it. We avoid the Glen Waverly restaurants because of the deplorable parking facilities...Paradise Road Thai is the only reason we would visit coleman parade.
Friendly service and lovely ambiance. Had lunch with family there and found their dishes to be generous and tasty. Top marks for the generous portions of duck in the duck red curry. It's rare to get a lot of duck in a dish. But this curry was packed full of large pieces, cooked very well, with a delicate balance of spice and sweetness. Chilli paste was also really delicious!
Friendly staff and food is delicious! You can order in advance to make lunch time outings more time efficient. Great place to go! We go here regularly for a break from the offiice.
FOOD:5/5
- I ordered almost everything has in the menu and I would say 9/10 dishes I picked so far is delicious
- Nice dish decoration for food-photographer.
SERVICE: 4/5
- Due to large amount of customers, you'll have to wait around 20-30mins (sometimes can go up to 40mins but rare) for the food to be served. However the food would definitely be at the best taste as always.
- Too busy restaurant that make staffs couldn't take care and notice of all patrons' needs.
NOTES:
Book a table is ESSENTIAL, especially on holidays and weekends
I haven't had Thai for a while and wasn't sure what to expect from this place. However I found the pad Thai I ordered was surprisingly yummy-not spicy at all and was to my liking :)
It was a good experience overall :)
Always busy during nights whether weeknight or weekends, so booking recommended. Dishes always tasty but for the price, portions are too small. Nice decor and ambience and despite the constant busyness, service is always prompt and attentive.
Thai food here is amazing! A friend of mine took me here for dinner one time and I was just impressed with everything. The food, the service, the venue, the environment. Great experience!
My interest in this restaurant has started since it opened but never got a chance to visit as it always is packed during weekend. Yesterday we finished movie and drove here. We were welcomed by very nice and cute waiter and served menu quickly. We tried special fired barramundi which was fired nice but not over with Thai plum source and sided with broccoli. We also tried thick cream chicken curry with peanut which is not very spice but match my flavour. The inner deco is nice as well.
Decent Thai food - the flavours are really nice (had the pad thai & curry and rice), however I find the portions incredibly small and rather quite pricey. However it's a good option if you're around Kingsway in Glen Waverley.
Went for friday lunch with a couple of colleagues. I had been to this place once and suggested we should give it a shot. Started with curry puffs and spring rolls which were perfect. I got a pad thai with veggies which was very good with right flavours in place. My colleagues got a jungle curry and stir fry with chicken which they relished and one of them even claimed this us the best thai he has had in recent memory! I got complimented for suggesting this place. Would go again.
Blown away by the atmosphere of this place. Would 2000% eat again. Seafood meals are an absolute dream here, prices reasonable and very friendly staff/service.
It was our first visit and the food does not disappoint us. The restaurant was fully occupied and we all know which is a good indication that we'll be having good dinner here. Definitely my favourite dish of all dishes - Pad Kee Mao. We loved it! This place offers good selection of Thai cuisines as well as refreshing drinks to choose from. The service was absolutely fine and waitress kindly recommended us for the cocktails. Everything was lovely! I would recommend to anyone passing through the corners at Glen Waverley!
Tried this restaurant for dinner for 4. food overall was ok nothing special. fried rice in the pineapple was a little more dry than other places we had before. service was nice
would I go back - probably not

+3.5
Not many places in Kingsway to get Thai - so this place is usually quite full for dinners. Booking recommended.
Service is friendly with prompt waiting time.
Enjoyed the Thai tea pannacotta with crunchy water chestnut covered with strawberry jelly - strong Thai tea taste :)
The menu is thoughtfully. constructed to appease different diners with ease. My favorite category, desserts, are just fabulous here.
My favourite Thai takeaway!!! Got the seafood mixed platter and everything was cooked perfectly. Came out on a lovely sizzling platter and the sauces were divine. Highly recommend.
I like this place. The food is really nice. Great flavours. I don't understand why it has a mediocre rating! The pork buns have a great flavour. I also can't wait to try the crepe cake.
Been here a few times and the service is really great, the settings and the tables and environment is really good.but the food... It is very salty, nice flavor, but salty (pretty sure there's MSG in there). If you're going to eat there bring about 3L of water.
Really delicious Thai food, and generous servings. Working in the area we are spoilt with great Asian cuisines. This for me was a standout. Great for group dining. We ordered a papaya salad with lemongrass chicken & the crispy pork on rice with an egg. Salad was amazing, but the pork was a little dry. Looking forward to going back and trying more on their menu!
This place is just incredible!!!:) one of the best thai food places you can go to!!! Lovely atmosphere, wonderful, friendly staff and the food is beyond this world!!! This should be the next restaurant you try!!!:)
An excellent Thai restaurant in the heart of Glen Waverley. The menu has all the traditional Thai fare you'd expect - fish cakes, pad thai, tom yum soups, chicken with cashew nuts and papaya salad to name a few. You can tell that they try very hard to be as authentic as possible - and almost make it! After seeing almost every table around us order the pineapple fried rice (served in a pineapple, naturally), we just had to get it and were not at all disappointed. A stand-out dish! Homemade Thai dumplings were also a treat - intricately made and beautifully presented, with tastes to match! The barramundi fillets were also good, though a little heavy on the lemon for my liking. In the dessert department, the Thai tea panacotta is the way to go - delicate flavours and the perfect coda to a spicy meal. Service was excellent and efficient- very friendly staff, who are attentive and patient. The only downside is the music - having the top 100 pop hits playing like it's a club really detracts from the whole Thai/exotic vibe (which the decor captures quite well).
----- EDIT -----
Unfortunately, after tonight's experience I must edit my review and rating. While the food remains of excellent quality, the same cannot be said for the service. We booked for 3 people at 8pm. Arrived right on 8pm only to be told to wait while a table was organised. Then we were shown to a table set up for 2 people - not only cramped for 3 people, but right in front of the door. When we asked whether there was anything located away from the door, we were directed to 'wait outside'. Wow. Asked to wait outside on a cold rainy night! Finally an appropriate table was found, and interestingly enough another group of 3 also refused the table right in front of the door. A lot of the issue here is to do with the lay out of the restaurant - six people crammed onto a table fit for four seats, cramming three people on a couch opposite two chairs etc (if people are sharing multiple dishes, there just isn't enough table space!). Something as simple as a partition between the front door and the first table in front of the door would do wanders, especially during winter. Hope to see some improvement in customer service, because it would be a shame for this great restaurant to be hampered by poor service. The club-style top 100 pop hits is still a significant detraction from the dining experience.
Love the food, will definitely be my all time favourite place for Thai cuisine. Love the ambience and place. They can improve on their piped music through, that kinds ruins the ambience.
Choosing to stay closer to the eastern suburbs rather than heading into the city for dinner, we ended up choosing Glen Waverly as our destination. After walking around and checking out a number of restaurants, the strong aroma of Thai cuisine drew us to Paradise Road.
Fairly busy for a Wednesday night but the staff was attentive, always making sure the water glasses were full. Food was good, however the oysters were fairly heavily flavoured which meant that you couldn't really taste them.
All in all decent Thai food that I would definitely hit up again.
YO, THIS PLACE IS BOMB BIH. FISH IS OUTSTANDING, SON. THEM RIBS ARE FIIIRE, TOO. THIS PLACE IS TOO EASY, NO FRILLS. Would advise to book in advance for dinner.
Great Thai restaurant in Glen Waverly. Been here 3 times so far and food was delish! Loved the tom yum soup, green curry, pandan chicken etc... LIke!
Good Thai food for the Southeast side of Melbourne. I really like the lamb salad it's not exactly authentic but it's good. I find the duck used in duck curry is frozen and powdery but the flavour of the curry is good.
Great Thai food in Glen Waverly. Had the whole barramundi which was cooked to perfection and had absolutely delicious flavours running through it! Also shared in a few entrees, all of which were very nice. The service was great, so overall a fantastic dining experience.
My wife and I have dined here twice. The first time was great and second time was amazing. It is probably the best Thai I have eaten. Can't wait to go back and try something else. The only complaint I would have is that the drinks can be a little slow. Also recommend to book if you are going. I booked for 2, they were already busy when we got there and the night got busier and busier and it was a Sunday night.
Glen Waverley is home to quite a few restaurants in the main strip. Around the corner, you’ll find a few other nice places to eat, but priced slightly higher. Paradise Road is one of these restaurants.
The restaurant was packed tonight, but the staff were more than happy to accommodate us. The meals were a bit slow, but overall, we had a good night.
Check out the review of Paradise Road in the blog post below.
Really tasty Thai food! It's a bit on the pricey side but it's reflected in the good food. The service here is also fantastic. The waiters are attentive and really helpful in recommending dishes. Of the dishes we ordered, my favourite was definitely the honey pork dish, which I think was a special that night. The tender pork pieces was generously coated in a deliciously sweet and sticky sauce. I kept on going back for more.
When my family eat at a Thai restaurant, we always order a pad thai. Elephant Corridor's rendition of the classic Thai dish was an excellent one. We ordered the seafood version, and they certainly did not skimp on the seafood. The flavours were well balanced and it didn't taste greasy at all, which I find to be a common downfall in a lot of other pad thais.
The only thing I wasn't too thrilled about was the roti bread. The next time I dine here I think I will order the naan bread instead. But all in all a fantastic meal!
Great place! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Was there for lunch. We ordered the chefs special of Soft Shell Crab with pepper sauce and Thai Fried Rice with chicken. There was a good choice of drinks. It would be great if ciders could be added to the list.
The food was presented well. Looked very appetising. The portion sizes were good. A main can generously be shared between two people. It's a little pricey but was well worth it. Would definitely be back.
Paradise Road is where Glen Waverley locals go for Thai. Located on Coleman street, it’s right across from the hustle and bustle of Kingsway. A dinner stop following a road-trip from Phillip island, led us to this Eastside hub. With serious smoke rising from our sunburnt skin, good Thai better be on the agenda. The menu looks promising with copious categories of stir fries, curries and seafood. Variety is always king at Asian restaurants. Soft shell crab, tick. Pineapple fried rice, tick. Thai Milk tea pannacotta, hello! Admittedly, I have a grievous pet peeve when it comes to Thai food in Melbourne. On the whole, it’s never terrible, but I feel that
Awesome food and great service at reasonable price! Recommended for anyone staying near Glen Waverley area. Ordered a beef steak with Thai spices and was blown away by the tastes!
The food was absolutely delicious, packed with flavour and was of authentic Thai cuisine, rate very highly, with little wait time for food. However waited a while to be seated, as well as seating was crowded regularly having to move both our table and chairs to allow other customers to exist their tables, conversation was difficult as hard to hear over neighbouring tables.
Really good Thai option in the Glen Waverley area. Popular with the locals and super busy on the weekends. Recommended. Beef Pad See Ew $18.90. Stir fried flat noodle, vegetable, egg, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, Thai seasoning sauce. See that? More beef than noodles, so massive value. Good thing it's tender and delicious. 8/10
Same management as the elephant corridor so no surprise that the food is brilliant
The crying tiger , salt & pepper calamari , Bbq pork ribs are to die for
Pair with Thai singha beer is a fantastic combination
The menu is very extensive, with a large range of noodle, rice and curries. There is also a degree of choice in what type of protein component is used in the dish.We were a large group and service was quite attentive and prompt, although when there was a mix-up with us receiving an additional dish, they could have paid some more attention in acknowledging it when we informed them. In regards to the food, my friend and I shared a Panang curry and Pad Thai. Both were very filling, with large serving sizes. I personally preferred the flavour of the curry to the Pad Thai, but both had strong flavours.
