Fantastic, highly recommend this juice bar to my friends and family. Yesterday, after my friend and me go to H&M get some stuff, we felt quite hungry that moments, so we try to get some food for our brunch.
When we pass by Elizabeth st, this juice bar are very bright and eye catching with their unique colourful design and outside of shop are hang with a lot of oranges, so we decided to have our brunch in this shop.
I ordered Big Breakfast with combo price, I got a juice and a coffee at all, good deals! My friend ordered a Quinoa Salad and Acai Bowl there, it was Amazing delicious and tasty. This shop got many kind of food, juice, smoothie, quinoa salad and Acai bowl as well. I will definitely go back again for more !
Fall in love with Tropicana, This is one of my favorite juice that I have experienced in my life. The South American Delight is a drink to die for me, sooo refreshing! The store decorated by lots of oranges make you thirty all time. The smile, attentive, and energetic of owner and staffs make me come back here when I visit Melbourne!

I’m not sure why it took me so long to finally try one of the smoothies at this institution-like restaurant. You would immediately recognise it from the cute bags of oranges outside the door
I wasn’t in the mood to have something heavy for lunch so I had a smoothie with honey and dates. Loved how filling it was - and portions seemed generous. Kept me full for the entire afternoon. I was quite satisfied! Would definitely be back!
I've walked past this place so many times and I finally stopped to grab myself an Acai bowl. The service was fast and efficient and a great Acai bowl
This spot has a good rating but I still feel like it's pretty underrated. While minimalist, whole-food vegan restaurants have captured the smoothie market, I have a soft spot in my heart for old-school, secretly not-so-healthy health food spots. Tropicana is pretty cheap and offers a range of breakfast and lunch fare in addition to their juices, acai bowls and smoothies (which are made with ice cream and actually more of a milkshake). I like the banana smoothie as a treat and the acai bowl as a relatively healthier option.
Love Tropicana’s acai bowls and juices/smoothies so much since they use fresh fruits only. The base of their acai bowls are made of pure acai, with no other fruits like other places usually make them, which makes it unique and very delicious (at other places where they add bananas, the banana taste is so strong that it overpowers the acai).
Also, everything were very cheap and affordable. Love it so much!!!!
I decided to go to this place while walking on Elizabeth street. I wanted to have something heavy so decided to go for the big breakfast.
It had toast, eggs, bacon, avocado, spinach, hash brown, and tomato. Eggs and bacon were cooked nicely. Avo and spinach were fresh. All in all, it was a nice breakfast but I think the presentation could have been much better. That's where all the difference could have been made.
The location of this restaurant is amazing. Outdoor seating on Elizabeth street adds to your experience. Pineapples on all the tables look beautiful. I thought the dishes were priced nicely.
I have been coming here for years, hasn't chaged a bit. Good to see that the shop front still looks the same after so long. Still busy just as I remember. Great juices, the South American delight is always my go to!

I really like the design of this place, so colorful and funky! There were seats but only a few. The lady serving me was really nice and patiently helped me make a decision (I'm super indescisive :')) and the smoothie was done in like a few minutes!
There were lots of options but finally got the acai smoothie which I believe was a mix of apple, berries and acai powder. It was delish, though a bit too sweet for me. I also do think it was tad bit pricy for the portion ($9)?
Overall though, a great place for some healthy smoothies!

Impressive. It’s always something of an eye catching store with bags of oranges hanging out the front. The place is small inside but is big on options of what you can order. Variety of food on offer is eggs Benedict to bowls of Korean bbq food to super food or perhaps a bowl of avocado, strawberries and kale!. There is so much variety you just have to try it.
You can eat in (standing at a bench) or outside on the street tables or have takeaway. Would like to see more environmentally friendly packaging for takeaway.
Staff are okay. Not super dooper enthusiastic. Wheelchair friendly outside but can be a bit of a squeeze to get past all the fruit.

Before hipsters were invented, before juices and smoothies were served in fancy cups or mason jars, there was Tropicana. I feel like this place has been here forever.
I had the spring clean this time. They know what they are doing at Tropicana. Reasonably priced considering it's freshly made.
They do breakfast too, and bowls to keep up with the trends, and milk subsitutes. It does a roaring trade because people know where the good stuff is.
Always happy with their south american smoothy. It’s the best juice/smoothy on the planet as they claimed. Also happy with their mango colada as the taste is not too sweet nor too sour. It’s just spot on.
Came in early in the morning. Small and sweet spot with a lot of seating outside. Ordered the small açai bowl and it came out in a really generous amount. Very refreshing and the staff are very welcoming and nice. Will be back to try out their savoury options!
I am up to my ears in work every morning; however, it's hard to find a place selling breakfast early, except Tropicana. They have colorful and attractive menus with various options. As a regular customer, I highly recommend that, you should try Big Breakfast or Veggie Dream with a glass of juice or smoothie. Definitely feel full for whole day at work.

I had a lovely little breakfast here yesterday before my boyfriend went to work. The bacon and eggs were simple & filling. The coffee wasn’t the best I’ve had but the juice was lovely & refreshing

This place looks a bit dodgy from the outside, but inside it serves up the best smoothies in Melbourne. My friend had the "best juice in the world" which was, I'm afraid to say, a bit of hyperbole. It was okay. The real beauty lay in the Tropicana. What a slice (slurp?) of heaven. The time between ordering and receiving is infinitesimal. Highly recommended.
Iconic juice shop on queens st. They will even customise flavours for you but that shouldn’t be necessary because their recipe list is extensive. My juice that I had was quite gingery, I ordered it because I had an unsettled stomach and thought it would help, but it didn’t really. At least it tasted ok, but maybe a bit less ginger in future.
I get my breakfast from here every morning, do I really need to say more about it?! Love the Raw blend variety and Smoothies great way to start my day :) Love the breakfast combo you can either get coffee and juice or a Large juice :) perfect when I feel like having everything and not sound like a piggy 🐷

So I arrived at about 7:10am and the staffs were just about done opening the store. The store has a really vibrant exterior that you definitely won't miss. I was greeted by warm smiles and the service was prompt - no hassle at all.
Easily got a table outdoors and they were cutely decorated with a real pineapple (: What a refreshing decor to brighten up my day.
So I ordered a small acai bowl. Alone it costs $11, and it includes the topping of bananas and toasted muesli. I added extra toppings of matcha powder and peanut butter, both costs 70 cents each.
The acai was refreshing, cold, and sweet - perfect for summer mornings. And although matcha is really good for you, I wouldn't get it again as I choked real badly on the powder - tried to mix it into the acai blend but the bowl was too small and the powder was spilling out. Then again, the topping servings were pretty generous (: No complains!
Nevertheless, really yummy breakfast and considerably affordable for a nice bowl of acai. 👍🏽

Really yummy Acai bowls and the staff are so friendly. I'd definitely recommend this place to everyone. There's lots of varieties of toppings to choose from including chia seeds, peanut butter, green matcha tea powder. I will surely try the large bowls next time.
Whenever I feel as though I'm starting to get sick I march straight down to Tropicana and get myself the cold and flu buster. The hanging bags of oranges visible from the street depict the fun and fruity nature of this juice bar where staff always seem to be smiling and the patrons are shiny happy health people. Feels a little more personal than boost juice too
The acai bowls are the most delicious and authentic that I've had in Melbourne, and definitely the best value, as they don't blend acai with other berries to reduce its cost of production and are very generous in their sizing and toppings. Their other juices and smoothies are also amazing, and their lunches are a very reasonable price for on-the-go food.
I Ordered veggie breakfast. Good price in combo because I got healthy breakfast with fresh juice PLUS coffee as well! 2 drinks!! What a bargain! Love the juice. I will go back for that juice again (red colour and best selling )
My go to smoothie place. I like the South American smoothie with the secret ingredients. Sometimes a bit hit and miss - I guess it depends on who's making it for you.
Food, juice and smoothies are all excellent. However, the staff kept losing track of our order. They kept asking us what we had ordered and forgetting to bring things. I think the only place the order was written down was in whiteboard marker on the bench.

We ordered a coffee and a Tropicana smoothie, the coffee was pretty averages but the smoothie was one of the best smoothies I have ever had. Hands down, it was fresh, full of fruity flavour, perfect consistency and just really tasty. Look forward to trying out other smoothies on the menu.
Very friendly staff, excellent food and coffee. The most ridiculously tasty beetroot juice thing I've ever had - and I don't even like beetroot! It was tangy and delicious. My husband got the black forrest smoothie and it was practically a dessert, it was so good.
Best drink ever! Wish they had this is Brisbane people would die for this. Not your typical, modern, fancy and nicely designed food/juice bar. It has heaps of oranges packed in bags hung and displayed on outside. It's quite quirky but not as approachable but once you make the decision to walk in it will never disappoint. My top favourite here is green tea Tropicana but the classic Tropicana is almost equal to it. A must try in Melbourne
Walked in for a really late lunch and ordered an Acai bowl for the first time! I was pretty excited because id never had once before and I was a bit skeptical at first but it won be over pretty quickly. It's cool, sweet and surprisingly filling. It was quite pricey somewhere between $10-15 but probably because acai isn't readily available here. I still really enjoyed it and might try one of their smoothies the next time :)
Walked in for a late lunch this afternoon as I've been wanting to try this place for a long time though I was always deterred from it because of the minimal seating inside (I don't think anyone wants to sit outside in this weather). Ordered a super green bowl and a large cold & flu buster juice (consisting of orange, ginger, carrot and enchicea) which came to only $15 as part of a value deal. The juice came quickly and there was around a 5-minute wait for the salad bowl. I really enjoyed all the components in the bowl and they all tasted fresh and delicious. I could come here and have a different one every day of the week! It's healthy yet fulfilling at the same time. The seats inside are not very comfortable and can hold a maximum of only 5-6 people. Quite a funky little place and I'll definitely be back for more!

Ambient: organic, warm enough in the shop since I visited during winter. Didn't sit outside, so I can't comment on that. Menu was easy to navigate and straightforward.
Food: we ordered 2 "super bowls", 1 soup, 1 juice and 1 smoothie. My friend reckoned that soup was the best she had in her life, to me... it was a soup with solid substance so I give it 8/10. But 10/10 for the "body builder" smoothie, it's just amazing, so was the juice. Those 2 bowls we ordered however, weren't exactly what we would oder again. They were fresh, loads of different ingredients, but the tastes just don't work, to me they tasted like 2 bowls of salad made out of great random ingredients but with tastes, flavor and textures that don't work together at all. But I'm really glad that they do service hot food besides cold foods, especially during winter.
Service: really average. The lady who helped us with the order had us repeat our order 3 times to get it down. Took the money and go, "who's next?" While we were wondering if she ever planned to give our $13 change back, until a dude came out of nowhere and gave us the money... that was strange. Ordered bread and butter too to go with the soup, but the bread was handed over to the table in a small paper bag which only covered 3/4 of the bread, the waiter came over and just place the bread on the table, yes, 1/4 of my bread was on the table which who knows how many people have touched and how dirty it could've been. By that observation, it makes me wonder if they actually practice safe food handling in the kitchen which is required by law.
Would I go back? I think so, but I'll just stick to juice and smoothies.
A bright and cute little juice bar that is full of energy and drink options! I was excited to try out a new smoothie flavour, and I was not disappointed. I had the black forest smoothie, which basically tasted like banana and small chocolate slivers in a shake (I did not notice any taste of cherry). It was definitely delicious, and very filling (even the small size). The service was quick (though they did forget my friend's order of banana bread) and the staff were efficient.
Though the store itself is quite small, there were a few bench seats inside beside a very toasty indoor heater, as well as lots of outdoor seating options. These drinks certainly aren't for those on a budget, but was very nice to try. Not sure if I would go back again due to the price, but was very enjoyable.

Amazing tastes from the South American Delight Juice, I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a sweet fruity drinks. I really enjoyed it's subtly duality of flavours running through it, for this reason and as per advised try not to mix the drink.

I went there with my friend in the hot day feeling very thirsty. It's my first time trying the Acai Bowl and it's so fantastic!! They have options for the additional toppings which cost just a little bit more but they gave a lot of the toppings. Also we ordered the South America juice to try caz they said it's the best selling and the taste so suprised us. We really love this place and the South America becomes our favorite drink now.

First came here years ago trying to find Melbourne's best smoothie. Instead found the South American Delight, Melbourne's best juice. Food here is fairly average but worth a combo deal if you want a juice and something to munch on.
Love the acai smoothie, but can't help but feel that it's a little overpriced given the size! Perhaps I'll stick to one of the cheaper ones next time!

Amazing!. We ordered a couple of big breakfast deals, they were really nice. The service was quick and the quality was impressive for the price. The breakfast deal came with a big breakfast, a fresh juice and a coffee, just for $18.50. I had one of their juice recommendations, I forgot the exact name, it was something like south Brazilian tropical red pink no-stir juice. It was so good. A cup of after-meal coffee was a nice finish off the breakfast with extra relax and chat. I reckon this place will be one of my favourite places whenever I come to Melbourne.
I like the Vegetarian Breakfast here because it comes with eggs, usually in general the vegetarian options doesn’t. Food wise, feels like the quality has improved, no more burnt bacon/toast.

South American Juice ohmygosh. I’ve been thinking about their South American top secret juice since I had one for the first time a fort-night ago because it was just that amazing.
Went there for lunch with one of my best friends because I wanted to see what vegan-friendly options they had and I love juices as well.
My friend said her coffee was good but the chicken wrap she ordered wasn’t that great, too bready and needed more salad.
But seriously, if you go to Tropicana, try the top secret juice, thank me later.

I went there for a late breakfast , and I ordered the vegie breakie, it was fantastic it came with a fruit juice and also a cup of tea. it only cost me around $17.50. the service was friendly, their oranges out the front is a very interesting way to help remind people of there place... when I every want to go out for lunch with my friends , I only have to say the place with the oranges hanging outside! A must if you love fresh juices or smoothes.

Smoothie Heaven. This place does hands down the best smoothies I've ever tasted. Highly recomment the Mango Colada (creamy goodness!). I was intrigued to try the South American Delight juice & I was not disappointed. So yummy & the colour of it is great. It tastes like a popsicle! Also the 4 1/2 hour natural high you get from it is great, can't help but feel energized and happy!

Michfish. This place has great service and the best juice if you are looking for something exotic definitely the place to go. The "do not stir mysterious" drink is a blast with the tinge of sourness and sweetness.
BEST SMOOTHIE OF MY LIFE. The mango/passionfruit smoothie - I have no idea what makes it so smooth and creamy and delicious, but it is AMAZING. I often go far out of my way to get one.

Has improved!. Been a while since the last time i came here, but the breakfast meals have improved! Usually come here for the breakfast deals and the food was really salty and overcooked most of the time. Feels like the quality has improved. Smoothies are still good!

I get their cherry ripe shake and it’s pretty amazing. It’s perfect for someone like me who really like sweet things, but I can imagine many would think it’s too sweet. Much better than boost juice (which you can literally make at home in 30 seconds by yourself anyways.)
