Went twice during the 8 dollar all day special week;
- the roti was soooo good! Roti canai is my all time fav food and I’m actually quite surprised it satisfied my cravings! Got 3 roti for 8 bucks and I was so full after. Had to order dhal twice cause the serving was quite small, but satisfied overall.
- the laksa was average. I’ve had better ones but it was worth it for 8 bucks.
The downside is that the service was really slow; although I can’t blame them cause of the promotion. But even without the promotion the restaurant really looked like they were understaff.
Pappa rich is the taste of home a former Singaporean like me always needs. It’s as authentic as it gets and the feel of it reminds me of simple times in a Hawker centre enjoying the simple stuff done well
Ordered a nasi goreng from Uber eats for lunch and it arrived hot and tasty. There were three large prawns and they were so fresh and nice. The fried rice flavour was ok, not too salty and large portions.
We order noodle with hainanese chicken, and roti prata with chicken curry. Noodle tasteless, but their prata was nice. Service was ok
Casual dining atmosphere serving authentic Malaysian Street food. Prices are reasonable. A place to catch up with friends for coffees or meals.
Indeed they don’t have the best customer service, but the waitresses & waiters are nice individuals. They’re happy to go through the menu with the customers if you’re unclear with Malaysian cuisine. Love their wat tan ho, kueh tiaw, prawn noodle soup, salted fish fried rice, the rotis, and the vege bee hun. 👌

I always come here to have their Hainan chicken rice and Nasi Lemak. Pretty delicious. They also have many vegetarian options so vegetarians please go have a try!

Been coming here for over 9 years at least, and have always loved it. The chicken rice, roti chanai and ipoh hor fun (egg gravy flat noodles) are insanely delicious. Lots of great drink options as well especially the Teh Tarik. Great fast service, large portions and great prices.

Papparich continues to serve up authentic Malaysian fare with good service and pleasant ambience. Nothing is better than their made to order roti which is what we had today. The roti was flaky, slightly crispy and deliciously savoury.
I worship their sambal. It's always sweet and spicy. It definitely lifts anything you have with it to another level. Their laksa was tasty with a complex combination of various spices and coconut milk. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the ingredients were fresh and generously portioned.
Ordering with paper and pen is fun and reduces the chance for mistakes. And getting the attention of wait staff with a bell is a great idea.
It's no wonder we keep coming back to this place.

When I get an attack of the 'roti homesickness', this is the place to get it fixed. Their rotis are always freshly made so you know it will be crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Served with 3 different sauces (sambal, curry and dhal), Paparich's roti canai is as close as you can get to the real thing!
R09 and R04 are my personal favourites. The huge portion size, the sambal, the prawns and eggplant combo- I seriously cannot find any faults with this dish. My only concern is that sometimes the wait can be a little long during peak hours- but it's absolutely worth it.
Got the seafood laksa. Was a big serving size. I like the noodles but the broth was as strong/flavourful as I liked. But still a great place to eat when craving Malaysian food
We ordered a couple of rice dishes and left feeling satisfied. Pretty good food at a pretty good price point! I'd recommended this place to anyone looking to try Malaysian cuisine for the first time.
One of the most well-known chain Malaysian restaurant that usually positioned themselves in shopping centres. The menu is extensive ranging from on rice dishes to shared plates and also Malaysian style snacks. The noodle in the chilli pan Mee is a little overcooked but taste wise is pretty good. The dry Noodle was great and the sauce was on the sweet soy side.
Papparich offers decent Malaysian food at a decent price. It feels a bit hectic inside but service is relatively fast. The bell ringing for service is quite flawed as it's hard to tell if you buzzed or if it was another table. They could probably fix this with a visual display for people to see.
Meals are decent and they have quite the extensive menu. The wat dan hor was a tad on the watery side but tasted pretty good.
Overall if you're craving Malaysian food this will hit the spot.
Had a quick lunch here on weekdays. Their place is really huge and spacious. Getting a table shouldn’t be a problem. Service is very quick and food is pretty good.

Went to the place for a casual dinner. The place was filled and we had to wait for a bit. Once seated we ordered the roti chanai curry, garlic naan curry and biryani with a couple of drinks.
The food took a while to come but it's understandable due to the crowd. The roti chanai and naan were served warm and the accompanying curry was awesome.
The biryani was spicy and was pretty filling. I'd definitely check out the place again as it's not too expensive and has a vast selection of food to choose from.
This QV branch is always super busy, especially because of its prime location!
I ordered their barley & grass jelly drink, roti canai with beef rendang, prawn mee & limited edition fried chicken sandwich in collaboration with Belles Hot Chicken!
The barley & grass jelly drink is honestly one of my favourite drinks there - it’s not too sweet and is almost like a mini dessert! I love their iced lemon tea too which is really refreshing (but is a bit sweet for some).
They make their roti canai fresh which I love. The prawn mee is my usual go-to order - the broth has a rich prawn flavour which I personally enjoy.
Tip: ask for a mix of egg noodles & mee hoon (thin rice vermicelli noodles)!
If you were keen on trying their fried chicken sandwich, make sure to head in within the next few weeks before they’re completely off the menu! I would recommend sharing that dish as it can be a bit on the richer side, but it’s yummy!! The meat to bread ratio is on point.
Would come here for quick dinner or lunch. Service is quick and food taste great. Roti canai is the bomb and they serve a really delicious drinks options too. The only downside is price is pretty steep for malaysian food.
PappaRich was a casual restaurant serving delicious Malaysian hawker food at affordable prices. Over the years I’d tried quite a lot of different meals and had yet to find I didn’t enjoy. I especially loved their comforting Hainanese chicken rice and biryani rice dishes. I recently came back here to try the latest addition to the menu; fried chicken sandwich, a collab with Belle’s. The sandwich was very tasty with spicy, crispy fried chicken and PappaRich ‘signature’ sauce (which I wasn’t too familiar with). At dinner times, the line to get into Papparich wasn’t that long anymore, which made the whole dining experience that much more pleasant.
Absolutely love papa rich. Probably our favorite Malaysian chain. Their menu is huge and has something for everyone!
Their nasi lemak rice is fragrant, the curry chicken is soft and full of flavour.
The watanhor noodles is super saucy, so much flavour and a huge serve that we couldn't finish so we took it as takeaway.
The roti is a standard must get. And teh tarik.. mmm so sweet and delicious. Get it warm (:

TL;DR: Come for the laksa, grab a plain roti on the side and forget the rest
When I'm craving some laksa, PappaRich is one of two places I'll go to, the other being Laksa House on Elizabeth St. When we went today we ordered:
- Chicken Curry Laksa
- Roti Telur Bawang with Beef Rendang
- Roti Canai
- Sambal Eggplant
*I only remembered to take a photo of the Chicken Laksa since it came first, whoops!
Sometimes the quality of the laksa varies, though it always maintains a decent quality. Today was a day when it tasted superb, really quite authentic, as endorsed by my mum, born and raised in Penang. The roti (canai) was flaky and a nice side, however the curry sauce that came with it was unbalanced, with too much sweetness and a powdery flavour. Most people probably wouldn't mind it, but I've been spoilt by my nanna's cooking, so I ended up dipping the roti into my laksa broth instead.
The Roti Telur Bawang was nowhere near as crisp as the roti canai, and was rather bland. As for the accompanying sauces, the sambal was overly sweet, the daal unbalanced and the beef rendang was more of a generic beef curry to our tastes. The sauce, which should be thick and coating the beef chunks, was thin and needed more flavour.
The sambal eggplant was mediocre, the sambal was again, overly sweet (bit of a trend there) and had an overbearing belachan flavour. The subtle flavour of the eggplant was completely obscured.
The 4 star rating comes from the near-perfection of the laksa, the pleasant roti canai and the disappointment of the beef rendang, roti telur bawang and sambal eggplant.
Though other reviewers complain about the service, what you have to realise is that this place gets busy, and like many other good Asian eats around the city, you come for the food more so than an out-of-this-world customer service experience. If my food comes out in a reasonable time and the servers treat me with a decent amount of respect, I'm happy. PappaRich more than fulfills this criteria.
The next time I have a laksa-roti craving, I'll be back here, perhaps trying the kangkong as well...
This Paparich outlet is better than the other outlets I have tried. The food is in generous portions, tastes good and is well-presented. Ambience is bright and spacious and service is good. We had their char kway teow which was flavourful and well-fried. We also had their chicken skin which was crispy and moreish and their fried rice with fried chicken leg. The chicken leg was huge. I had the ribena melon for my drink and it was really refreshing. They are slightly more expensive than other places but they have something for everyone under the one roof.
When I feel like having malaysian food, there is only 2 places I would go for. Papa Rich is 1 of them.
The foods are very tasty, yet remind me of food that I ate in Malaysia with Indian touch on it.
Set up is very clean, could be packed on the weekend.
Worth to try for those who loves south east asia food.
Try the nasi lemak with fried chicken or chicken curry.
The sambal prawn with briyani rice is also great!
The proportions were really big and I didn’t get to finish my meal but the food tasted amazing too. However the service was a tad slow but that may have been due to public holiday when I went!

The food is really nice and reminds me of my hometown, Malaysia. Customer service is just on point and all the staff is really friendly. What i concern maybe the price which pretty pricey :) but overall, its worth with what i got.
Wow! Boy were my boyfriend and I glad we chose this place instead of Grill'd. The last time I was here was 3 years ago, back then I thought it was mediocre but they have definitely lifted up their game now! The food was hot, fresh, generous and packed full of flavour. The dry noodles with chicken curry was on par with that of Laksa King which means it was delicious and my boyfriend's chicken curry and rice was also fresh and hot. We also got the roti with 3 dipping sauces. The roti was good but the sauces were something to be desired , so I wouldn't order this again. The Milo was great which was what I ordered, but wish I ordered the boyfriend's three layer teh tarik! Can't wait to come back here again and explore the menu a bit. The waiters were really nice and friendly.
The place was about to close and the server was kind to take the last order for the day and deliver it in good time.
I had a Pappa Special Nasi Lemak with chicken curry and sambal prawns.
This dish was very good and each of the items in it complimented each other. The chicken had good spicy flavor to it and the prawns were juicy and tasty.
The rice was going very well with the main dishes. The portion size too was great.
Overall, a great place where I would love to come back and try more of the wholesome dishes.
A go-to spot for hearty mock meat dishes at relatively budget friendly prices. My favourite is the nasi lemak or fried mee hoon with curry mutton. Any of the meal deals are also great value. For starters, I can recommend the Pandan Kaya bun, and for a drink, perhaps a hot soy milk.
Nice place to dine for a quick and delicious meal! Staff is not always friendly but the service is always quick. Friendly service, seating, and the arrangement was good too. The place is well lit with a great location. Really good authentic Malaysian food. We have been here many times and like most of the dishes.
PappaRich is located in QV, a fantastic location surrounded by other food diners and small shops. The day we went to eat it was about 38 degrees so it was hot and we decided to have dinner here as it caters to some of our friends that have dietary requirements. So thankful they had fans on, allowing the restaurant to have a cool breeze.

Overall the food was great, portions were so large that we had stuffed ourselves and took takeaway. It was great to see the food being consistent and so flavourful.
Service: It was okay but it started to get busy as we seated so understood the slow service however it wasn't anything to bad to ruined a great dining experience.

We were craving for some Malaysian food and decided to try out Pappa Rich in QV! Here’s some of our favorite dishes!
Nasi lemak with curry chicken - a typical Malaysian delicacy of coconut rice served with curry chicken, sambal, cucumber slices, cashew nuts and ikan bilis (dried anchovies). A mixture of yummy flavors - sweetness of the rice, richness of the curry chicken, saltiness of the ikan bilis, freshness of the nuts and cucumbers, and most importantly the spiciness of the sambal that adds that extra kick! Be wary of the sambal spiciness!
Pappa chicken rice - this is my personal favorite though others may disagree! Boiled chicken dipped into soy sauce served with fragrant rice, bean sprouts, chicken soup and dipping sauces - think of this as a deconstructed dish! The softness and juiciness of the chicken mixed together with the fresh bean sprouts, flavorsome dipping sauces and richness of the rice makes it into a delicious meal!
Crispy egg noodles - this is one of my favorites as well! Dried egg noodles served with egg gravy, chicken, prawns, fish cakes and choy sum! The best part of this dish is how crispy you want the noodles to be based on how much egg gravy you dip into it! The egg gravy is what makes this dish special - think of it as a broth or soup base which has been brewed for hours!
Laksa chicken - hokkien noodles in a curry soup broth served with chicken and tofu puffs, bean sprouts, eggplant and fishcakes - the best part of this is how the soup base absorbs all the flavors of the other ingredients in it making it rich and flavorful! The level of spiciness is just right for first timers who want to experience laksa!
Roti canai - another Malaysian delicacy which is bread dough rolled and flipped until it becomes flat and fried to crispiness! This soft and fluffy flat bread is served with curry of your choices! For me, the bread is special as techniques are involved in making the bread delicious!
Overall, Pappa Rich has consistently served good food and is a symbol of Malaysian delicacies!
每次去QV都会经过的一家店，之前来过一次但没有拍照，只记得对印度馅饼的印象很好，今天和室友再来了一次。
我们俩大概是🐷吧，点了一个炒河粉，一个滑蛋河粉，奶油印度馅饼，和鸡块薯条。本来就不怎么饿的我们，竟然nearly吃光，表扬自己！
这个印度馅饼的味道真的秒杀其他indian restaurant里的“馕”，一定要点！河粉建议还是点炒的，滑蛋的没什么味道，最后是鸡块薯条，还行，可以问服务员要番茄酱。
这家店服务还是可以的，桌上有按铃，按了就会有server过来，办事效率也很好，不像别的店里的会磨蹭。
I’ve been here a couple times now. Really love the wa dan ho, dry curry egg noodles, seafood curry laksa and wouldn’t mind the briyani with chicken. Not a huge fan of the service because they’re usually very slow and sometimes serve the wrong order. The roti bomb is microwaved, so I’d advise to go to Mamak where they make it to order!
Authentic taste of Malaysian food!! As indonesian, i really love to eat here. The price is not that cheap, but itnjust reasonable since they give a huge portion with a mouthwatering taste.
I’ve always wanted to come here but for some reason I just never found the time to do so. But I finally got around to trying the ever-so-popular PappaRich the other day, and I’m glad I did!
I decided to get the Pappa Wat Tan Hor (N13) and I was pretty impressed! It’s a pretty generous serving size for what you’re paying for ($14.9), with a large variety of different ingredients, from seafood to chicken to vegetables. The egg gravy was nice and flavourful, and went really well with the thick flat rice noodles.
This is definitely a place I will be revisiting, and I look forward to trying more of their menu!
I always find myself back here when looking for some hearty comfortable food. I mostly order laksa or roti with curry chicken (yum!). This time I had a Pan Mee, it's also fresh and delicious. The seating is quite of an issue - the lounge area was droughty and cold, with breezes from the air-con. We had to move to the central area to make sure we could eat comfortably.
Regular spot when I am craving for Nasi Lemak curry chicken.. expect some queues when you come here on weekdays during lunch time.. food is good but cleanliness needs some improvement..
If I want a cheap fix of tasty Malaysian fare, there's no where better than PappaRich. Located all over Malaysia (and around Asia), what these guys do really well is roti canai. You can see them make each roti on site, buttery flaky goodness. I get mine with curry chicken. It's extremely well priced, and walk out satisfied.
I've also had the noodles, and the chicken rice, both very good dishes as well. The drinks err on the side of sweet, but you're eating out... you must enjoy yourself.
Interior is clean and slick. Quick service. Sometimes you have to line up, because it's popular. As they say... if the line is that long... it's gotta be good.
People may put their nose up on chain restaurants, but the reason why they are chains is because they are successful and popular. There's nothing wrong with being popular.

Friendly service, seating arrangement needs improvement, took a longer time for food to arrive even though it was only moderately busy. The food itself though was amazing! The place is well-lit with a great location, but the ambience is too noisy for my liking. But, apart from that great place to dine-out in the city. My recommendation is the Roti Telur with Chicken as a must have! You will not regret it. Trust me!

Looking for a quick feed after uni before going back to that study grind, I followed my friends to this restaurant recalling my satisfied visit to the restaurant by the same name at the Gold Coast. I felt pressured in deciding what to order since the rest of my friends knew exactly what they wanted upon sitting so I followed suit and got the Pappa Fried Rice Noodles. Oh. My. Goodness. Absolutely amazing, I must’ve broken a world record for how quickly I downed the meal. The sauce in that dish combined all the ingredients so well and the egg wasn’t overly eggy. The noodles had a nice bite to it, slightly chewy which made eating all the more satisfying. I usually complain that a noodle dish is too wet but this one shows that the chefs really know how to use a wok properly. My only complaint is that this dish isn’t spicy whatsoever but maybe that’s just my high spice threshold. Also! The interior is beautiful. I wanted to take my family here the next day and have the very same noodles. Only a mark down because service was just a tad slow, had to raise my hand to get the waiter’s attention.
Great food and easily accessible. Tried chicken curry with briyani rice, was very good. Roti channai is a must try and place offers great range of drinks.
One can be confused after looking at huge range of options in the menu, keep it simple order by looking at images :)
