Welcomed by friendly staff! Chose the Olive Grove with pulled beef, and for the price of the large one it is worth it! Very filling, I was able to snack on it while studying as well. Came with a choice of bread slice. Love the taste, they didn't shy away from on any ingredients :)
I loved the vegetable lentil soup. Just delicious and perfect for a cold winter day. I used to frequent this outlet all the time, but am now closer to the galleria store. The Little Collins St store is definitely better than Galleria, in terms of food quality and staff friendliness.

This has become a regular breakfast spot and so enjoying having my porridge and tea. First came her in late March and have come back a few times since. Staff are always so nice. Got myself a rewards card and slowly using it as I’m not in Melbourne every day. Famish’d seems to do a good trade with regular customers. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Dietaries catered for. Takeaway available as well as dining in.
My favourite salad here is the Mexican salad with chicken. Fresh ingredients and decent sizing. I’m always excited when our work lunches are catered by famish’d so I can sample more of the salads!
If you are looking for salads, this one has quite a spread. I tried their toasties and beetilicious salad and was not disappointed at all. Sharing a picture of my breakfast for the day.
You can build your own meal or select from the menu creations. Rather than a baked jacket potato form the base comes mashed/spread. I personally opt for the sweet potato option and (happily) struggle to finish the serving in one sitting. Amazing food each and every time!
I love this little cafe. Very friendly staff, some quirky food, great service. When I visit the city I often get my coffee here and occasionally breakfast. Love the mushrooms and cheese on sourdough.
Such a great place!! Excellent coffee and a gorgeous selection of food. Everything looks fresh and delicious. they seem to cater for all food intolerances. Staff are super friendly.
OMG!!! Best place ever 😊
Really loved it!! They have the most amazing #salads
And their eggless brownie was simply mind blowing and yummmmm
Decent sized salads, pretty good selection of healthy food, also have baked sweet potatoes but they ran out when I was there, I went at 3:20pm so there was noone really there and they where kind of packing the place up, good food, they could make a better menu display to better explain their offerings
I'm doing it! You get a perfect score. I work around the corner and when I'm feeling in need of something reallllllly good I get a baked potato and it have never once disappointed. They don't skimp on the toppings (which is a big thing for me), and I don't know how they do it, but the spuds are AH-MAZING! The cake selection they have is impossible to say no to.
I think these guys do a better baked potato than the Spud Bar. Just sayin'
My fav daily coffee spot. They have great st Ali coffee and make an amazing almond milk latte. Friendly staff and one of those places where you can order and pay for your coffee without saying a word - which is just what you need some mornings before you've had a coffee.
For lunch I love that you can get a pasta base instead of leaves for a salad. The snack size is pretty filling with the five additional toppings. Add the seeded bread and it's not really a salad but yum.
Love the seeded bread.
No fuss, wide range of options for a quick take away lunch. The salad that never ends in my opinion. Definitely didn't have my combo right today but will work on that for next time. Staff were under the pump so smiles were lacking unfortunately. Remember it's a tough old world in Melbourne foodie land, service always helps.
Love the concept and the staff are so friendly! Overall, a really great salad! I think that the only flaw with Famish'd is that since customers are literally choosing the ingredients, it tastes like it's just been quickly tossed together and therefore lacks real depth and cohesion. However, all in all, a great option for fussy and particular eaters!
I was surprised by how good the baked potato tasted! It's a great option for a healthy, quick take away during work lunch break in the city. Would definitely consider coming back again
I think somwhow more creative than other spud shop. Great taste!
Awesome staff, amazing coffee
Got the bacon and egg toastie, best breakfast toastie I've ever had
110% recommended, cheap as well!!
Famish'd was a small shop as well but had lovely wooden chairs and rustic deco. funky music and waiting staff. They certainly had created their own culture. There were around 10 different fresh ingredients and some carb options to choose from. And akin to Coldrock ice cream, the energetic shop assistant helped you mix the 5 ingredients your heart desired plus a dressing of choice, then serve the humongous pile of heavily dressed veg and carb in a terracotta bowl. I spent a whopping $11 on my salad (carrots, beetroots, hard boiled eggs, spinash, cheese, pasta and mayonnaise dressing).
The staff are all exceedingly cheerful, even when dealing with the hungry lunchtime corporate plunderers. Plus, they cater to carboholics like me by giving a slice of grainy, seeded bread or sourdough with my salad, or the option of a baked potato or sweet potato with toppings instead of a salad. Win. I’ve also heard good things about their sweet stuff but never purchased myself but on a recent occasion, I went just for coffee (it’s St Ali coffee). Famish’d is one of those adorable places that give you a free sweet thing with your coffee, and delicious mini chocolate meringues were on offer. Yum!

This is one super impressive café that exceeds in every department! The chic and even cheery vibe is created via friendly staff who engage with regulars, funky music, excellent coffee from St Ali, ultra healthy food and generous portions, and a spacious modern café.
Overall, yummy healthy salads/spuds. Good spot for lunch.
Yum, fresh & big portions. Delicious, but the salads are HUGE! Would prefer to pay less and have a smaller portion.
Fantastic friendly fast service... Breaky was great here! Highly recommend.

My favourite place.. Delicious, fresh, nice friendly staff, great pricing, awesome portions..
What more can you ask for?
love it.
Its my favourite place to eat :)
Great spuds as long as they don't run out!. It's great having this place nearby work and one of few places that do a really good spud with a big portion size. Ingredients are always fresh, though the lunch menu a little pricey to have for lunch everyday! I've had some staff be super friendly and helpful but many who are very aloof which could be that that they are tired etc but it doesn't create a great atmosphere when being served. My main gripe is that there has been many times they have ran out of ingredients, mainly the spuds themselves! I'm not particularly a fan of the sweet potato substitute and it's disappointing when avo, corn, beetroot etc runs out. I can understand running out of fresh avos but running out of spuds by 2 pm? I don't think 2 pm is that late in the day. Every now and then I can understand but the amount of times this has happened actually deters me sometimes when I need to quickly grab something to eat as it may be a waste of my short lunch break.
Solid choice. $9.50 for Smashed Avo on toast take away?!? Absolutely worth it!!
Busy, but didn't wait at all. Staff are super efficient and friendly.
Seriously yum salads!!! Cute place and fun staff, l will be back on the ASAP to get myself one of those little cakes, couldn't squeeze one in today
Best salads but beware it's addictive!
Lovin this place. Very good for gluten free foodies. Also has good seating, free water, newspapers and mags..
Healthy and yummy. Just discovered this little gem very close to my office. I'm on the 5:2 diet at the moment, so on the two days per week when I can only eat up to 500 calories, the 'make my own salad' option is perfect! I just hold the dressing and the bread and I'm satisfied for the whole afternoon! Being pescatarian, I also love being able to easily add some protein in the form of tuna or an egg. Love this place!!!
Quick, easy, healthy! Really perfect for lunch!
More Famish'd stores please. The best value-for-money lunch you'll find in Melbourne for healthy and delicious salads. I wish there were more around town - definitely should be a chain!
Great Salads. I LOVE Famish'd. For $11, you get a large bowl of whatever salad you want ! Staff are very friendly and helpful. I have yet to try their spuds - I kind of wish sweet potato wasn't $2 extra !
Try to get there before the lunchtime rush though ! I went once during the rush and the salads were almost gone and I ended up with salads that were drenched in dressing (because it was what was left at the bottom of the containers).
Delicious. Best salads everrrrrrrr - reasonably priced and yum x
Love it, love it, love it. .... Love it, love it, love it.
Possibly the friendliest staff in Melbourne without it sounding fake. I love the sweet potato baked with a choice of five toppings and the daily dairy-free soup with yummy seeded bread.
The coffee is great and always comes with a mini meringue, whether it's drink-in or take away.
They are always busy but don't forget to take a sneak peak upstairs if they are full downstairs as you might be lucky.
Had the premade salads, price wise quality was ok, portion was big, slightly lacking flavour, however tables had condiments, filling healthy lunch.
Okay, so I'm a bit OCD about my salad eating, I eat them every day. I went into Famish'd as I'd read about the salads and was not disappointed at all!! I chose 3 of the 4 ready made salads on offer for the day and added tuna. Tasted delicious, and the take-away box was cute too. Definitely going back to sit down with a coffee!! Loved it.
Spuds on steroids. I went here today for lunch. YUM. Big potato with butter and up to 5 toppings plus salsa for only $11.00. I was full. Staff were really friendly.
Amazing food and service. I come to Famish'd more than twice a week and i love it! The food is great: classy, healthy and in big portions. The team is really nice and they work hard on getting to know the costumers and keeping them
Delicious and fillings salads. It's quite busy here during lunch, but the staff are super efficient. I always find that after eating salads, I'm hungry within an hour. But the servings here are huge and very filling, as well as delicious! Great place for a healthy lunch! If it's too healthy, have a lamington - they're pretty yummy too!
Popped by after looking for some good Salads on an unexpectedly super hot Melbourne day and was really surprised at how good it was! Staff was super helpful for s first timer showing me around how their system all works and it was sooo friggin good, made my own crazy mixture of pineapple, beetroot and tuna salad mix! :)
Lovely and Delicious. It's perfect for lunch. Fresh salads, hot soups and my favourite, spuds with any topping. The staff are also lovely...and a bit spunky too!
Looking for something healthy?. A friend and I were looking for somewhere healthy and yummy to have a calorie-conscious lunch, and stumbled across this place (via urbanspoon). It's small and interesting, and the salad that I had was yummy and varied. My friend's spud was good too, and neither of us went away hungry. Staff were friendly, queue wasn't too long, and restaurant was nice and warm. Recommend!
Lynne davis. I have eaten at Famish'd many times. I really enjoy the food especially the prepared salads which are very fresh and delicious. I feel very satisfied after and I don't feel at all guilty. I feel there is a great need for this sort of cafe in the C.B.D. The staff are very friendly and I really like the ambience and atmosphere of the place.
Healthy and Delicious. I recently discovered Famish'd as I was wandering through the city looking for lunch. When I went inside and saw the delicious and fresh salad ingredients, I knew I had found a great place to eat. I work as a dietitian and am always on the look out for healthy and convenient food outlets to suggests to my clients and I would definitely add this to my list. The staff are friendly and there are even soups and potatoes for those who don't like salad. The fresh cut breads are delicious too. Two thumbs up from me!
Salads are good, but ohhh the sweets!. Tried something new for lunch today, and Famish'd was a lovely break from the mundane office. With a younger set of diners, the atmosphere was friendly and casual. At $10 a pop for a salad, it's a bit steep for an every-day lunch option for those of us on a modest salary, but the ingredients were fresh and relatively healthy.
I had the spud with some salad, beans and cheese on top - nice and warming on a cold day, even though the mixture of warm potato and cold toppings was a bit weird. My colleague's salad was drowned in about 2 cups of dressing, which was a little disappointing.
I did take a tasty little orange cake back to the office to have with a coffee, and I was not disappointed! It was moist and gooey and really hit the spot despite it's tiny size. Their sweets are delicious, if a little pricey.
This is a good option for vegos and vegans who need some protein in their daily lunch and can't find it elsewhere nearby, and they do a range of gluten free sweets too that are to die for. I'll pop in now and then to see what's new.
Best coffee in Melbourne. I consider myself a coffee snob and I was so impressed with the coffee at Famish'd. I went in for breakfast and unlike so many places I was impressed with the food and the coffee - the avocado and fetta toastie is sensational! Is now my breakfast and lunch place of choice whenever I'm in the CBD
A good CBD lunch option. I have only eaten at famish'd once, but thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I ordered a mix of the ready salads which included pumpkin, broccoli and bean. The yummy currents made the pumpkin a stand out, but the pumpkin itself wasn't as sweet and tasty as it can be. The broccoli and bean were great and filling. I also loved the multi-grain bread, that accompanied the salads, lovely quality. I also am a huge fun of their rustic style crockery, a pleasure to eat from. On my particular visit the music wasn't quite to my liking, but that wouldn't stop me from going back.
Fabulous. I don't come into the CBD often, but when I do I head for Famish'd. Good healthy fresh food served by smiling helpful people.Great coffee!
We came upon this gem for breakfast on a recent trip from Los Angeles. The staff was extremely friendly, and the coffees and food were delicious. We highly recommend the toasts, especially with avocado and feta, the fresh muesli and yogurts were terrific and everything was prepared to be both tasty and healthy at the same time. We also loved the decor, helpful staff and the great music. We will definitely return to Famish'd on our next trip!
Just what the CBD needs. This is just what this side of the CBD needs. Wholesome food that is healthy, reasonably priced and leaves you feeling full but not bloated. Well done Famish'd, I will be coming back. Surprisingly for a salad bar the coffee is excellent!
Worth the walk. I'm a good few blocks away, but Famish'd is definitely worth the walk! Fresh ingredients and the ability to compose your own salad or spud are the key to an enjoyable lunch. Coffee's also great and the selection of cakes are seriously hard to refuse. I'll be there tomorrow!
Fresh, filling, flavoursome food. Never have I left here disappointed or hungry. The city has been waiting ages for a healthy salad place and they have fulfilled the need brilliantly.
I love the warm and hearty soups. Also enjoyed the different winter warmers especially the baked potato and the yummy lasagne.
famish'd is also very reasonable, you don't pay as much as you do at other places where you get half the serve and less than half the taste.
This place is fast becoming my regular lunch date!
Pregnant and happy. I spent 40 min of my lunch break searching the city for a healthy and fresh and safe bite to eat. It takes double the amount of effort when you are pregnant to feel confident in cafe type foods. Famish'd is fantastic. I was so impressed. My soup was hearty, tasty and filling. Combined with delicious bread and olive oil for dipping, I was 100% satisfied and so was my belly. Go for it!
About time..... Can't believe it has taken this long for something like this to come to the city. Better still, the food is delicious (and healthy), coffee is amazing, the staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is just perfect.
I've been there 3 times this week and can't wait to go back!
Well done guys.
So after much deliberation, I chose two of the pre-made salads (they’re very happy for you to mix salads here) – the Raunchy Roasted Veg and Thai-Lover’s Creation ($10), served in a huge, huggable terracotta bowl with a slice of seeded or sourdough bread. I went with seeded, though more for research purposes (yummy, but nothing to shout about) than out of need, because I’ve never had a bigger serve of salad in front of me as I did then. The Raunchy Roasted Veg is a mixed leaf salad scattered with assorted roasted vegetables, such as capsicum, eggplant, and a lovely artichoke heart. There’s also a smattering of pasta, capers, and olives, all held together by a light vinaigrette.

This popular eatery serves four different pre-made salads every day, plus it has a mixture of ingredients for those who prefer a make-your-own approach.
The concept of Famish'd is to provide good, fresh and light but tasty and filling food. They mostly do salads, with two options, either mix your own, subway style, or get one or a combination of their pre-made salads
