I really enjoy the burgers from Grill'd because they taste so fresh, and are not the typical greasy style of takeaway. I like the option of wholemeal rolls, loads of salad and interesting combos. Being a chain, you can find them in many suburbs; and they are convenient and reliable.
I recently tried the Birdie, and this grilled chicken burger was fantastic. Juicy chicken, delicious condiments and gooey cheese made it a tasty option. I als can't resist their seasoned chips, which are just so addictive. Always a winner as far as I'm concerned.
I would have loved to upload the picture of the delicious burger I had i.e. the Garden Goodness option but it looked so appealing that I had to eat it and not waste time by clicking a picture.
Being a vegan, it’s sometimes difficult to find burger places, but this place has an amazing variety to suit all diets. The burger was just perfect. The patty was nice and crunchy with a lot of salad to top it off which also included my favorite veggie - avocados.
I really like this place! Been here many times already, and it never disappoints. Firstly the setup of this particular Grill’d store is perfect! It’s also never too busy (and never dead) so you can have a nice lively catchup with whoever.
Tried the vegan burger (the bacon and cheese beyond burger) today since it’s meatless Monday and wow I am actually amazed! You wouldn’t have been able to tell it was vegan! Really satisfied. Ordered sweet potato chips on top of that but sadly the portion was SO tiny!!!!! But still had a good time.

I visited Grill’d yesterday evening. I went with a friend and was a bit pessimistic about there being any gluten free options. But to my surprise there was a good selection of gluten free foods. I had a chicken and avocado burger, gluten free people will understand how hard it is to find a gluten free burger bun. It’s a real struggle, a big struggle. This bun was BEAUTIFUL. OH MY GOSH. I wanted to be the bun. It was hard on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside. And the ingredients melted into the bun which was wonderful. And all of their fries are gluten free. Yes that’s right all of them! Crazy I know. I had the herd chips and they were amazing! I would highly recommend going here to suit your gluten free needs. England needs to have Grill’d!!
Great burgers here as with any other Grill'd branch. This branch has a nice verandah area that's still sheltered and makes for a cosy atmosphere. Staff are friendly as with all Grill'd branches.
It can be hard to choose our burgers sometimes but some of our favourites are the mighty Melbourne, sir truffle, Wagyu wunder and pork belly options. The beef patties are quite tasty and moist, better than many other burger joints I've tasted. The pork belly can sometimes be quite fatty with little meat so although it tastes good, I'm often hesitant to order it in case I get a bad piece. The buns are quite nice, not the best but not such a waste of calories that I'd rather not eat it. Their super low carb bun is actually surprisingly good and I would order it if I didn't have to pay extra.
Would recommend as a place for good, reliable burgers.
I've been here numerous times and tried various items across the different Grill'd locations. I most memorably came to this Carlton and had for the first time the Bird and Brie as well as the Chicken Palace Caesar - both were delicious, great balance of flavour and I loved the freshness of the ingredients.

'Burger without the bun' done best here! I'm not usually a burger person because I'm just a messy eater and hate having to clean up after so it's always a bonus when a burger joint serves the 'no bun' option. This is where Grill'd does it right. They turn the meal into a salad bowl which other burger joints like the Burger Project can definitely learn from. Instead of just serving the burger literally without the bun, they add more lettuces onto the meal. Great work to the Grill'd team!

Mighty Melbourne is definitely the real deal. Awesome beef burgers and exploding with flavours. Don’t miss out their home made fried sweet potato chips too.
Yuuuuuum how can takeaway be this good?? We ordered off Foodora as it was late (after 10pm on a Tuesday night) and Grill’d was offering free delivery (woo).

Smaller venue but the food is the same as you get at other locations. We ordered the vegan burger but we subbed the party with the garden goodness patty.

One of the best as far as Grill'd outlets go. With a shiny new fit out, this branch is a stand out. The food is up to par with other branches and the amenities of being a standalone store is great. Clean modern bathroom (just one), table service and air con are all great.
I tried the Golden Glow chicken burger. In what I assume is competition with Schnitz, these burgers were released. However, the chicken was so thin and as a result bone dry. Not a nice experience and really let down the burger. My friend tried the sliders as she wasn't super hungry and thought they were good.
Had lunch there yesterday and pleasantly surprised with my Mighty Melbourne burger..

The Carlton Grill'd just got a face lift so it's looking nice and fresh. There is lots of outdoor seating or a covered balcony and indoor area. Fast nice and fresh. Like all of their stores you can expect chirpy staff and tasty food. The fries are as always fantastic. If you are looking for a classic try the Simon Says chicken burger or the Garden Goodness veggie burger. Service is fast and they do phone orders for a quick takeaway.
In Carlton Italian food reigns but if you crave a burger this is the place to go. In fact until now there has not been another burger joint up to their standards. It is a chain I know but they are doing it right from the service to the cooking.
They have a wide range of options from healthier to other not quite as healthy.
They also stock alcohol which it makes it perfect before a movie date at Nova cinema (my favourite movie theater).
I love Grill'd chips, they are just so good. For me bueger was so so, but chips are always the best. Especially with herbed mayo dipping sauce, so tasty!
Grill'd is a great place to go for a healthy burger option. We love going because there is heaps of locations and the burgers are delicious! The staff are always friendly and happy to explain menu to newbies. The burgers are delicious and HUGE, but we are never able to finish them without getting a burger food coma. 🍔😩
TIP: Grill'd is a great hangover quick fix- our go to. Do order the Baa-Baa Burger- our favourite. Don't forget to try out the Build-A-Burger option if you're feeling adventurous. 😏
One of the best of the Grill'd outlets- staff at Carlton are consistently efficient and friendly. Chips are excellent. Front bar steak sandwich highly recommended.

After a horrible experience at a nearby restaurant (Copperwood) where we waited an hour for a pizza then ended up leaving, we came here. Lovely staff, yummy chips trio platter, delicious Mighty Melbourne burger and tasty Pinot noir wine. Thank you for saving and feeding us! We both looked at each other when we left that restaurant and without even discussing, went straight to grill'd - a guaranteed safe and successful option :)
The mighty Melbourne is one sloppy, awesome and friggen amazing burger. Grilled is one of the best burger chains going around and it truly satisfies the taste buds. Truly a good burger fan and at least I know the burgers are always spot on great here.
Monday is Novo movie night!! rushed with my gf to buy tix at the box office, barely had 40mins before the movie, so after serious deliberation we chucked idea of eating Italian (well we were in lygon and being a foodie you wanna eat Italian ;) settled for the safe and quick grilld.
We ordered their new- fresh *something* healthier beef burger(comes with their ultra thin bun)- sorry don't remember the name - zucchini chips and relish. Simply brilliant!
The serving gal was nice and offered us to pack the burgers in a paper, for us to conveniently eat inside the theatre, they also prepared our burgers extra fast. The Pattie was meaty, juicy and grilled to perfection. The bread was thin and was easy to hold, given we ate our meal in the dark at the theatre.
What a great experience, only if the movie was better would have turned out to be a perfect night!

Satisfies burger cravings yet is still fresh and relatively healthy. Offers a large variety of burgers both meat and vegetarian based. Is a little bit pricey, especially the chips which are of a small serving. The zucchini chips however and super crispy and tasty!
I've only eaten here twice (how shocking!) but both times I've been left very pleased. There's a great range of burger flavours with a variety of meats or vegetarian choices. The meats are not processed and the fillings are fresh not soaked in sugary water like most takeaway places. The flavours are sophisticated and well done. There's even a low-carb bun option to be even healthier. The chips are also awesome - sweet potato and zucchini chips also available! So exciting :) And Wednesday night is student night, so cheap burgers and beer! I'm glad there are so many outlets.**edit** - tried the chicken zen burger recently and was not a fan... the chicken was freshly grilled which was a pleasant surprise for burger place, however the 'salad' was basically just some shredded carrot which completely lacked any flavour at all... the mayo was on the bun and not mixed in with salad which made it actually really boring to eat :(

In a world of fast food and disconnected service, it is a pleasant and welcome surprise to come across a chain restaurant where the service speaks of a pride in their work.
The burgers were served hot and hit the spot. The new super bun was very well received and tastes much better than it looks.
As with all food, it tastes better when the eating experience is positive and this branch of Grill'd is recommended for the professional attitude of its staff.
While studying at Melbourne Uni, this would be the place where we'd gather for lunch. The burgers were always great, and your student card would get you a free soft drink or water. Also, every time you order a meal, you get a token to help them donate towards a certain charity.
Their tag line reveals everything: made with love..... In addition to the great burger, they are genuinely taking care of their customer well.

Best Burgers!. Grill'd is absolutely my favourite burger joint. I've never had better burgers, if you've had the mushroom burger once, you never want to eat a burger elsewhere. The service is a little bit slow at times but this place is always pretty busy and I love the vibe which is the same at every Grill'd I've been to. The chips are so wonderful and flavoursome too and I love all the sauces they have to offer.

The vibe of Grill’d is casual but cool. With the exception of the occasional middle-aged person eating a salad with a glass of wine (do you realise where you are?), Grill’d is usually frequented by young people.
Grill'd easily has the best burgers in Melbourne - it is the burgers here I crave when I am away too long where I can never find a good ol' burger like this. When friends and family come from overseas I bring them here too :)
Every single time a friend comes over from Malaysia, I would bring them to Grill'd for their awesome burgers. Without fail. No excuses, when you're here, you gotta give Grill'd a try because there's no burger quite like theirs back in Malaysia.
Yummy lunches. Three times in recent past - once a chicken sandwich, once a burger, once a salad - all delicious - healthy yet filling. Servers were so nice - even though a casual counter-order type place and I sat outside, they were friendly and came to check on me.
Grill'd is always good burgers but this place is dirty...knives that have been used have been out back on the tables...

I do like their Field of Dreams burger, it's not often that you get a good vegie burger that's a bit out of the ordinary. Even my meat-loving friend likes it. And I like that they have several vegie options as well, not just the one!
