Review Soprano's Restaurant & Pizzeria - Melbourne

Love their garlic prawns! The Friends Special pizza is great. For takeaway I also ordered an American style pizza. Description didn't say olives but they added olives. That's fine for me. Very generous with pizza toppings. Pls keep it that way.

Look, the delicious and generous serving of mushroom sauce is necessary to help wash down the well-done steak (ordered medium rare). Serving size is great if you're just looking for 20gms of protein after a gym session, and don't mind working hard for it. 350gm for under $40, not terrible I suppose.

By far the best Italian restaurant in the region, I try something different every time, I suggest you try it for your self, I love the Veal scallopini ❤️

What a pleasure to accidentally come across this prestigious pizzeria. Parking close by to go attend the football and decided get dinner pre game. Unfortunately! They were booked out and couldn't cater for a group of 6 at the last minute. Still worth asking if passing, otherwise I would highly recommend pre-booking. After the fantastic professional courteous service, we decided to order takeaway. Very busy with many also trying to try and get sit down service and also order takeaway. So uniquely set up with their seating for dining and also takeaway service. The pizza, garlic bread and hot chips were absolutely delicious. Definitely looking forward to coming here again real soon. Off street parking available and waiting time, even though immensely busy was very minimal. Thank you to all working there as it was a great start to a great night at the football and also seeing the sights of Melbourne.

We were left very disappointed 1- ordered a 1/2 strength skinny latte It was served as a full cream, full strength latte It was sent back to be remade and then the same latte was brought out by another waiter, hence sent back again. 2- ordered a meaty pizza with tomato sauce instead of BBQ sauce It came out very dry as it had no tomato sauce on the base and it was drizzled with BBQ sauce on the top The manager told the waitress to come over to our table and apologise for the mistake of the pizza sauce 3- ordered Lasagna It was served lukewarm and the pasta sheets weren’t even cooked through Whilst paying, I was asked how everything was and I explained the above to the cashier and he offered no apology. After the poor service and dry and cold food that I was served, I was still charged 100% of my bill. We will never enter another Sopranos ever after this experience.

I got the seafood lovers pizza. A bit stingy with the toppings, and would have been a bit nicer without the chilli

Stumbled across Sopranos whilst out exploring. Service was lovely. Food came out quickly and was enjoyable. Lovely experience overall.

We stayed at Adina apartments for the weekend, and found this Gem, a stone throw away (right next door) 🙏 we didn't have a reservation, however we were welcomed in regardless, and served promptly by a wonderfully mannered waitress. our food came out quick, and it was amazing, the servings were MASSIVE and the prices were very affordable. Have recommended this restaurant to all my friends, and will definitely be returning to try other dishs... We are very picky when it comes to Italian food, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ easy👌

Terrible customer service ever. We ordered 3 dishes and only 2 came out. We had to remind the waitress that we were waiting for our last dish and the waitress started raising her voice “I’m telling you we are busy and it will take 20mins to cook the pasta. Im telling you”. When we wondered what happened with our pasta dish as my steak (well done) came out really quick and we had to wait for another 20mins for our pasta (even we ordered at the same time with the steak). When the pasta came out, my friend refused to get it as she ordered the fettuccine not the penne but the waitress told us that it was our mistake as she kept repeating the order (my friend doesnt like penne how could she ordered that dish with penne). The waitress forced us to pay for 2 pasta if we would like to get the fettuccine as it was “our mistake not her). When we asked her to show us the notes that she took our orders and she said that the note was thrown away (but other orders were still in her note). We kept asking her to show us the note and would be responsible if it was our mistake. She then turned back to the kitchen and made us another pasta.
With the attitude like that, i am afraid that business will lose its customers. If you forget to put the orders through, admit your mistake and apologise to your customers rather than arguing with them to cover your mistake.

Food: ⭐️
Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Price: ⭐️

First of all, the menu is not the same at the Zomato, the price and the menu option. When we get in the restaurant and the price are different we were surprised because the price has increased too much.

Food: the pizza was awful, even the one that we buy to put on the oven is better. The texture is very similar to the supermarket one, but the filling the supermarket is better.

The service: the waitress was lovely and I don’t have anything to complain.

The price: overpriced for a pizza like that and don’t taste good at all. There’s plenty of pizzas around Melbourne for the half of price. I just paid $22 for the large and $19 for the medium.

Got the chicken and mushroom risotto with creamy sauce, and tiramisu for dinner tonight via Uber eats.

The risotto was a bit lacking in flavor and even the very basic salty flavor. It was a very creamy taste overall and plain. The chicken pieces and mushroom were nice though.

The tiramisu did not have any good photo appearance and just looks like squashed cream in the plastic container. The sponge fingers were a bit too soft and soggy, which reminded me of a sponge dripping in water. The mascarpone had a bit of Kahlua or coffee taste I think, but the ratio between mascarpone and sponge fingers were a bit off. At the very start, the sponge fingers were really only on half the container but in the middle it got a bit better.

Food was ok, wasn’t really “traditional” Italian more similar to dominoes style pizzas. Pastas also weren’t anything special. Tandoori chicken was also out of place on the menu ?
Staff were lovely and the decor was nice too :) wines were ridiculously over priced , $50+ for a bottle that you can quote literally get at the IGA next door for $10
Melb_Belly
Very deceptive pricing. Their dine-in menu on their website for a spag bol states $14, on eatclub it's $15 and when I went in it was $22 🤨. The lady staff was friendly enough but the guy making the pizzas should probably stay out back with his attitude.
The spaghetti bolognese was not good. It was extremely watery and had hardly any mince. Could only get through half before calling it quits.
I'd be suspicious of all the 5 star reviews for this place

Good Spot for an Italian Lunch!

📍Located on the busy City Road, a short walk from Southbank and Flinders Street Station.

⚡️ The FitHit’s Tip - Make use of the fantastic EatClub deals. We visited on a Friday for lunch and redeemed 40% off our meal and drinks.

💲The price without the EatClub discounts are a little expensive, in my opinion. The prices match what you’ll find on the water front, except without the location..

🔆 The restaurant’s minimal lighting creates quite a dark space. It has a fairly cold feeling to it. There wasn’t too many people in the restaurant but I fee that with many more, the space would be very noisy.

🍽 Overall, the food was quite good. Nothing really stood out though. It was really just a standard Italian feed.

💚 Fantastic Value whilst using the EatClub deal

🚫 A bit pricey without the deal
🚫 Average location

Poor quality food, high prices and bad customer service. Strongly recommend to stay away from here! Ordered the $15 meatball pasta. Tasted very bad, serving portion small and then over charged by $7.

My family and friends had a pleasant dinner at Sopranos. The kids where well catered for. Service could have been a bit more friendly but all the meals ordered were well presented and tasty. The kids meals arrived first which is always welcome.

I work very close by and on a night shift I go there a lot. Pizza is always consistent, base is excellent, always heaps toppings and only 10 minutes to make. This is my go to place for pizza in Melbourne. A must for anyone who loves pizza

Soprano’s offers casual Italian dining (or takeaway) in a lovely environment! Situated in Southbank, it’s perfect for dining alone or a quick bite. Soprano is a cosy little restaurant offering...

I had a wonderful dinner here ! This place brought me back to the good old days where I ordered pizza and pasta for movie nights on the couch. I truly could not remember the last time I had Italian food like this and it was such a special night for me . The staff were super friendly and helpful and the Soprano themed vibe really enhanced my experience.

I ordered the bruchetta which was actually on a garlic cheese pizza ( so good ) . The chicken and mushroom risotto and carbonara were also really creamy and full of flavor, I do wish I ordered a pasta with red sauce as the cream factor was border lining too much but honestly I really really just wanted a carbonara since I haven't eaten it for probably a year :(

We ended the night with a tiramisu and boy was it so gooood ! It had so much cream ( which is something I like ) and the cake was perfectly balanced with the coffee flavor. The chocolate on the side was playful and probably a little too much but I am not really one to complain when it comes to excessive chocolate
@thefoodiealgorithm
Overall a great dining experience. We ordered the antipasto platter which gave a taste of several cold meats, olives and sundried tomatoes.
We ordered the Fettuccine Amatriciana and Peperoni Pizza for our main meals. The pasta had an authentic italian flavour which i really appreciated being Italian myself. Pizza base wasn't too dense and cooked perfectly.
The tiramisu dessert was a fantastic end to our dinner.
Worth a try if you're looking for an italian, well priced restaurant in Melbourne CBD.

If you’re up for a quick bite in the city and pizza is your thing, check out Soprano’s in Southbank. With plenty of pizzas and pastas to choose from and all reasonably priced, you won’t walk away hungry!

We went for an antipasto starter which was a great sharing plate. Followed this with a Mexican pizza and their chicken and Mushroom creamy pasta. If you’ve still got room left try the chocolate mousse! Won’t disappoint!
Good Food Good Mood
I was intrigued to be invited to Sopranos as I lived opposite the restaurant for many years and on account of never being home only had takeaway from there once. Eating in was an interesting experience, I am out for dinner almost every night and have never seen a place so packed of a Monday! It was so full I couldn’t believe it and the waitress did a great job in spite of the numerous customers.
To start we ordered the fried calamari. This lacked seasoning in its entirety for me and I didn’t enjoy the dish. Luckily it was onwards and upwards from there as both main and dessert were superb.
We decided to share a pasta and a pizza for the second course; pesto gnocchi and the avocado chicken pizza. Both were absolutely delicious. Pesto can sometimes be too oily but this one was perfectly flavoursome and creamy. The pizza was old school style thick based yumminess with a generous topping of chicken, pineapple and avocado drizzled in bbq sauce. Very satisfying indeed.
Dessert wise the chocolate pizza was the obvious choice. This had a perfectly crispy base and was super decadent.
Conveniently located near crown casino it’s the perfect casual family friendly Italian meal

A trusty family-friendly pizza and pasta joint that is perfect for locals seeking a hearty midweek meal or workers nearby seeking a casual lunch. With a good range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, everyone will find the perfect thirst-quenching accompaniment to their generously-sized pizza, pasta or main meal. To start with, the Fried Calamari is surprisingly good, with stringy pieces of calamari encased in a thick, crunchy batter that can be dipped in the accompanying aioli/tartar sauce.

Pastas offer an impressive variety, with the type of pasta totally up to the customer to choose to go with any of the pasta sauces/fillings. Our choice of the Soprano Sausage with fettucine delivered tasty slices of sausage, however the napoli-based sauce for this pasta needed lots more flavour/seasoning.
The Pollo Funghi was our second pasta choice, with gnocchi, and tasted deliciously creamy with sufficient chicken, mushroom and spring onions throughout the sauce.

Pizzas range from traditional to gourmet, served atop a sufficiently thick-sized base that is not dissimilar to those at La Porchetta, but is a bit better than the franchise restaurants. The Angelo was one of the recommended choices by the staff, and they were right, though only suitable for those who enjoy something a little different, with pineapple on their pizza!

Dessert includes premade tiramisu and a Nutella pizza - go for the latter if you had to choose one, though a scooping of ice cream on the Nutella pizza would go down a treat if they are looking for any other suggestions.

A good Italian, family-friendly restaurant to visit if in the area and want something affordable and enjoyable.

A nice stroll just from the banks of the Yarra and the glistening lights of Crown Casino, Soprano’s is an affordable, family friendly and casual restaurant perfect for a night out or a family get together. With wide options for all different cravings, ranging from pastas, fish, steaks to a whole back panel just dedicated to pizzas, this Italian joint was a delightful way to spend our evening. There is an open kitchen where you can see all the freshly rolled pizza dough being heaped with delicious toppings and a fantastic array of wines to complement the dishes. I thoroughly enjoyed my house Sauv Blanc with its refreshing crispiness.

A solid pizza/pasta joint! Tasty pizza, amazing bruschetta and the desserts...Nutella pizza, chocolate mousse and tiramisu, amazing.
Friendly staff and a nice casual dinner spot. Would return!

Tried the takeaway pizza here a few times and it is relatively ok for the price and quality. The Mexican pizza is pretty good but not a fan of the more expensive range .

We wanted to grab a quick bite to eat around our hotel and had a craving for pizza - Sopranos hit the spot! We went really early (as in, within the first half an hour of them opening for dinner) so it was empty when we arrived, which meant service was prompt. The pizza was really tasty and the medium size is enough for one person with a moderate appetite.

The menu photos on Zomato need to be updated - the traditional medium pizzas were actually $18 each, but that's still reasonable.
Claire Hannah
The prices are way under quoted on the menu on here! Must be a very old menu . For instance I ordered a steak on here it says it is $22 but it was $34!! Pastas are more like $19! Reads a menu.
Winnie Xie
Chicken mushroom risotto was amazing! Highly recommend! Waitress was very cute and with good services. The price was reasonable about $55 for two
Rachel
Nice little restaurant but risotto very bland, tasted like creamed rice! Was quite expensive for not high quality food so won't return. A real shame as we were staying in the area and read such great reviews!

Popped in lastnight for dinner on my own, was looked after straight away by a nice young woman who recommended the pesto spaghetti, so I obliged and matched it with a glass of shiraz, enjoyed both thoroughly. Place was fairly quiet but steady (although takeaways seemed to be doing a roaring trade) and i got my food quickly. Enjoyed chatting to the waitress, she was very hospitable and friendly a country girl and helped me with my phone, dont see hospitality like that in some other places. Thanks sopranos i would come back

Amazing Pizza!! Was staying over at Freshwater Place, wanted to order a pizza and was given this address....really tasty, crisp and just amazing!!

My wife and I love Sopranos. The service is second to none and the prices match.

I love the tandoori chicken pizza and tandoori chicken with rice and veggies. My wife loves the pasta and chilli calamari.

We are always impressed by the attention to detail and customer focus of the whole team.

They do take always as well.

Great pizza and the deliver too! I normally request the fresh goats cheese topping after the pizza has been cooked and it gets me every time. Try it!
Blueberry
They do a good pizza, not top notch but nice...quick and fresh ingredients
If you make changes the pizza comes out better and they are happy to oblige
Marcel S.
Initially ordered delivery twice and it was better than expected. It's no artisanal wood burning oven pizza, but much better than the cheap chains around the city. I also went once to eat in and was surprised to see a full dining room (I always pictured a take away pizza spot with no tables). I recommend the goat's cheese pizza, it was delicious.
Rachel Jaye Honner
Nice pizzas and quick delivery. Base was thin and crunchy and toppings were adequate. I generally prefer the gourmet style pizzas (think gradi), which this was not, but was definitely still nice and enjoyable.
Elonie
This place is good for take away pizza, not so good to eat in. They usually have deals for 2 or 3 pizzas plus drink or garlic break for take away/delivery.
CBF Glutton
I find the pizza sold here to be quite good.
Nothing amazing but still edible.
Most of the time at least, quality tend to change for better and for worse every now and then.
Price is decent but portion size is a bit too small.
Decor and ambience is okay, nothing special.
Pretty fast service.

Will be back eventually for more pizzas.
Mike
Pathetic after specifying we want to pay by card the driver turn up with out a machine apparently they only have 2 mobile eftpos machines it took 10 minutes to process the payment over the phone pizzas now semi warm attitude of owner abrupt never again good luck with your business as I will never use you ever a gain

Deserves a much better rating. Perfect for a simple Italian meal and very family friendly. Service was very good and our three different pastas and veal dish were all excellent. Would definitely return. It was the perfect spot for our family and thoroughly enjoyed

We have dinner at Sopranos once a week..
Menu and meals excellent..not too pricey either
Service is excellent and attentive...
Great extensive wine selection also..
Great little find..

Great Place. I come all the way from Thomastown to eat at Sopranos the food is great the service is great staff and owner are very friendly.
Highly recommended

Good quality every time. Have eaten here (take out/delivery) quite a few times over the last few years. The service isn't the friendliest, but im not looking for waiters and chefs to be my best friend. They are direct and to the point, exactly what i like and look for in restaurants or food shops. The time between making the order and the food arriving is always spot on, on a vary vary rare occasion an order has been over 30 mins. So most importantly their pizzas are their stand out options, especially the Tony Soprano, this large pizza is more than enough to satisfy two people. The pasta dishes on the other hand are average at best. lacking in about of meat and vegetables and the gravy and sauces are weak in flavour. Other worthy mentions on their menu are the potato chips ( not many places do a good potato chip delivery) and reasonably priced beers, which is alway welcome.

With living in Southbank, this pizza shop is for now the go to choice, have tried a number of other places, but im alway coming back to the mighty Tony Soprano!
Lady In Red
A Hidden Gem. Sopranos is a great new find! Well, we knew it was there but hadn't been in. We WILL be returning. The service was good, the menu is comprehensive & the main thing - the food - excellent and well proportioned. The decor has been thoughtfully assembled and it was nice to have our own space in a smallish space. There is an excellent wine list. We both had meat dishes which could not be faulted. Looking forward to trying the pizza as well next time. Thank you gentlemen. :)
Felicity
The greeting on entrance was appalling. The Neanderthal behind the counter could only manage a grunt and said Table 78 and pointed towards it. These were the few words he spoke. We asked for the house wine and he said Shiraz or Merlot. He never spoke another word or made eye contact until time to pay bill when he says "pay wave". The pizza was very nice but this guy was just plain rude and scarey. Obsessed with looking at himself in the mirror.
Haydenjcampbell
Terrible. Ordered the seafood risotto. Not a risotto at all. It was made using long grain, potentially basmati rice mixed with stock. The rice was definitely cooked prior to being added to the stock making for a bowl of soupy rice. The clams were sealed shut indicating they were dead. Pretty much inedible.
Ashleighdowdall
Everything was perfect. We are from Perth staying in Soutbank and just ordered about 7 dishes. It was ready within 20 minutes and everything was perfect from the food to the price to the service. We are devastated we found this on our last night and wish we had of gone here everyday as it was one of the best meals we've had in Melbourne! Highly recommend :)
E.theodorou
Amazing service, great food, friendly atmosphere. I dined at Sopranos when on a school camp with 8 students with special needs and 2 staff members.
We were overwhelmed by the friendliness and generosity of the staff at Sopranos - particularly the manager.
The food was very reasonably priced and was delicious!! We tried the pizzas, pastas and main dishes - everything came out all at once (rare with such a large group) and was very tasty. Highly recommend :)
Tim Frawley
Wait Staff are great but get bullied by the owner/manager. if your after a good Aussie version of a pizza then this is your place. Don't buy the wine. House red warburn sells for $42 it retails for $7. Every wine on the list is completely over priced
Takeoff262
Terrible..no phone etiquette when taking order & poor customer service
Dpw5111
Great Restaurant and takeaway. I have been a customer now for nearly 4 years and must say this is still my weekly favourite for my Italian fix. Firstly GREAT service, very friendly staff, who want to ensure you are well taken care of. Secondly, the food is great - pizza amazing, pastas made fresh and a great selection (penne carbonara unbelievable) and mains (especially the veal dishes) which are well prepared, well portioned and presented. All melas are very tasty and nothing is to much effort for Angelo and his team. There is adequate parking (across the road 3 parking garages) to make this a must try! Casual yet great food!! Keep it up guys!! Ps drink list more than adequate with some great wines.
Southbank Incider
By Southbank standards - this is a good Italian. OK - to keep it real...the location (City Rd) is not necessarily inspiring (not sure what parking would be like), and it sits beside an IGA. But, before it looks like I am doing a hatchet job, I should point out that these guys make the best pizza in Southbank. Furthermore, amid a sea of wanna-be boutique Italian restaurants (Fatto, Tutto Bene, La Camera, etc) - this is the closest you'll come to decent sized portions, 'Italian as you expect it' pasta, with reasonably priced wine list.

Never had the desserts here so cannot comment.

Always get my pizzas delivered by these guys - very good pizzas, and really good value too.

Satisfied sopranos customer. What a pizza .... Really wonderful.. I have never had pizza like this..
I used to order minimun twice a week same pizza, always same taste and decoration..
Prefer my fren try once a sopranos pizza..

Satisfied Sopranos Customer. I live locally in Southbank and Sopranos has been a big part of my life at weekends for a long time. I love the friendly manner if the waiters and I'm especially grateful that they prepare my favourite tandoori meals to perfection with the right sauce and chilli. I have a lot if respect for the way the whole team has made me feel welcome and for their prompt service,

Gobi makes the best tandoori pizzas I've had which are never too oily or greasy. I can taste the meat and the cheese does not drip.

The bread that accompanies my meals is the perfect entree and I love the cheese cake. I would not only recommend Sopranos, I will confine to enjoy my meals and take friends there whenever possible.

I have also eaten there in the week when the quality if service, food, and promptness has been equally efficient. I can't understand why anyone would not be pleased to be a Sopranos customer.

Ahmer

Great food and reasonable price. The pizzas are very tasty and this place deserves a way higher rating.
NaughtyBudgie
Not bad at all!!. We went because it's local - despite all the poor reviews on here. I can say service was very good and the food fine for the price. This isn't fine dining... but for a local, casual "pasta and pizzeria" it was AOK. We'll be back. Like +1
Eric Soong
Was up for a quick feed and big serve. Got the exact opposite- had to wait 30 minutes for a meal, and there were only two other people in the restaurant!! I will definitely not be coming back to this place.
Martyn
Ok, but too salty. Went for a walk to find something for dinner when staying nearby and passed a guy in the street carrying a pizza from here, so thought I might give it a go.

Ordered an Angelo, and some garlic bread, and then headed next door to grab some beer from the IGA whilst waiting.
Pizza was ready quickly, and smelt good. Garlic bread was just a generic stick, probably from a shop, so wouldn't even bother ordering that again. Quite plain and boring.
Pizza was a little light on with toppings, but what was there was nice. Didn't find the peperoni hot, but did find the pizza quite salty, which gave an unpleasant feeling once finished eating. Quite a bit of greese on the box, suggesting that the oiliness was a bit over the top.

Overall ok, but nothing special.
Troy Stratton
I was getting takeaway pasta 2 to 3 times a week, one evening I got a carbonara it was yellow and tasted horrible, when I complained they were rude and didn't want to know about it
Natashas SkinSpa
SO MUCH BETTER!. I've been going to Sopranos for years, and there was a period of time when it really wasn't all that awesome in the service department. Nothing bad, just not amazing. Lately there has been something... I don't know what! But the place has a great vibe and there are smiles all round. I just ordered a Chicken Caesar salad. It's awesome and the best thing is I got far more chicken than expected, probably twice what I thought I would get. Delish. Love Angelo the owner, he sometimes seems a bit gruff, but he's a secret sweetheart. Overall - recommend.
Roger Kaputnik
Not as bad as 37% would suggest but.... Had a take away pizza. It was ok if a little salty and a bit stingy for toppings but I would call it servicable. The staff I found OK, that's it really.
CelticCrit
Terrible service, staff were extremely rude. Food was average and not worth the price or wait. Would not recommend to anyone for future.
Plrm
Service was prompt but pasta dish very average, chicken was very tough and felt the whole meal had just been microwaved. Avoid if possible.
Mike
Mike. I have being to sopranos every time we are at the crown we go there, Delicious food the chef is the owner he being in this industry over 20 years in
and we commanded highly well done Sopranos
Lachie Sparks
I'm not quite sure what everyone is complaining about.... Everytime we go there the service is excellent and nothing seems to be a problem for them ( our family have special dietary requirements, ie. Allergies). Favorite restaurant... Amazing gnocchi imo... 2012/2013
Gash
Terrible Food and Service. This place really is a calamity. The Italian head waiter has no concept of customer service; he looks angry and stressed all the time and barks at you or doesn't even to bother speaking.
The kitchen is run by a team on Indians, who appear to be completely overwhelmed.
The food is grim, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.
Sauce
Really bad. I went here in late 2010 before the gorillaz concert. I had a pumpkin risotto, which was rubbish, rice cooked in cream with a few shallots and deep fried pumpkin crisps on top. Friend had the gnocchi Straight from the packet I guess. It was only just edible with a overpowering taste of pesto. I refused to pay for the risotto. Maybe just come here to see how bad food can really be.
Jo
Dinner. A group of us were staying near here so thought we would go for dinner. HUGE mistake
Firstly we asked for a table of 9 the place was empty only another table full - it was too hard for the waiter and we had to sit over 2 tables.
2. One of us asked for a coke which we could see in the fridge - he wouldn't let us have it due to it being only for take away guests.
3.Pasta was nice but all other meals really bad and they were $25-$30.
4. We waved him over - he looked straight at us a wouldn't serve us.
So overall the worst service we have ever seen. Would never recommend to anyone, so rude even the way he clearded the table as others were still eating dropping a knife onto one of the girls lap.
Just discussing!!!!!!
Greg C
Meh. I admit I was stumbling home half drunk, so the taste MAY have been better than what I'm about to give credit for, but for $17 for a large gourmet pizza was a bit rich, ive had better pizza from dominos. It seems the $20 minimum for eftpos is negotiable. When they tried to tell me 20 min, told them don't worry and then all of a sudden the policy disappeared.
Brittney
First and last experience. Was told they wouldn't serve steak with chips, however the male next to us ordered this an we were told he wa allowed as he lives near by, food was average and overpriced for what was served. Rude and arrogant service by whom we thought was the owner. Will never return nor recommend this restaurant
Tony Kirn
Pizza is very bland and you have to pay extra to get a half of 2 types. Found the service a little rude as well. I live close by and have never had a good experience with the food so no longer bother.
Dacar
Ordered a chicken parmesan over phone. Went to pick only to find that they only took credit card for orders over $20. "fair enough" you say! I found this out by the person who served me uttering "cash!" when I proffered my card. No niceties there. I took the initiative of taking a drink out of the cabinet to put me over this limit. Took my Parma back to my hotel, couldn't really go wrong with a parma at an Italian restaurant in Melbourne could you? How wrong I was! It was the WORST Parma I have eaten and that is saying something. Tough and tasteless. In summary food: BAD. service: BAD. A big mistake.
