I’ve never had any tastier dumplings. The fillings were so fresh. Absolutely loved every bite. My favorite dumplings spot in Melbourne. Will keep coming back.

The food was unreal. Plentiful, flavorful, and really high quality. Everything we tasted was delicious and easy to eat... and incredibly affordable too!
One thing to note was that our food came out fast as well. We came just before the dinner rush, but when we ordered a banana fritter as dessert it still came out quick!
The atmosphere is very chatty and easy going. It is easy to catch the waitress' eyes and everyone inside just seems to be having a good time.
Minor notes for my future self: the only utensils offered is a pair of chopsticks and napkin. Already preset, so any more napkins requires asking for it 😟.
The mango orange juice was also a little sour... as I watched them poor it from the golden circle juice containers LOL.
No split bills and I think minimum for card was $25.00!
Love the dumplings from this place. I always order via Uber Eats and this by far is on top of the list. Tried fried chicken and prawn dumpling, steamed veggie dumplings and chicken with Mongolian sauce on rice.
One of the best dumplings restaurants I have been to so far, always come with my girlfriend and we never leave disappointed, highly recommend!!
Cant go wrong with the dumplings here! Pork is my favorite...yum!!! Veggie ones are ok too, lamb dumplings are also amazing, in fact all the dumplings are amazing, you'll just have to try it all.
Ordered the panfried pork dumplings with sichuan sauce. Dumplings were cooked to perfection. Especially love the light pan fry as sometimes it can be over fried. The sichuan sauce makes it so much better with the sweet but slightly spicy aswell. Food came out real quick

I went there all by myself after a tough meditation session for some self indulgence.
They had veg options , the portions were big , flavors were amazing and the price was good too.I wanted to try other dishes too but not this time as I had no one to share with.Located in the buzzling streets of Flemignton this place shouldn't be missed.
Food is absolutely great! Service is okay, mostly just language barrier and always a full house. Recommend to book before coming. Decent pricing. Can confidently say, these guys are one of the top dumpling places in Melbourne! a must try!

My score 3.75 stars. Had been to the one in the CBD (now closed) a number of times, but this was our first time here. J & I had lunch on Tue 26th of Mar.
A large interior in what appears to be a converted bank – the strongest smell of incense I have ever noticed in any restaurant (ever) 👎 (I like incense - just not when I'm eating)! Really chunky tables that are so low, I couldn’t get my legs under 👎👎 (I’m 6ft tall, but still). Service was friendly, but very fast – not pushy but very “efficient”.
We had: Pan fried vego dumplings > 15 (not huge) dumpling, were very nice & good value 👍. Tasty filling of tofu, mushroom, carrot & chives - crisp bottom but really moist “top” 😋. The only downside was they weren’t piping hot initially, so cooled down quickly.
Steamed prawn dumplings > 8 quite small D's – the size you often get at yum cha. Tasty filling, wrappers not too sticky - pretty good. Not sure about value though?
Small S&P calamari > Came on fried vermicelli with tid bits (fried caps, onion, etc). Quite salty, the tid bit garnish was tasty. Squid was soft & the batter tasty (but not as crisp as we would like). Dish would have been better with fresh chillies!
Chilli green beans (sans pork) w rice > Bargain lunch special! Nice chillies, tasty beans were cooked perfectly 👍, large soft pieces of tasty garlic 👍! Very good 😋 !
Lunch beer special > Heineken (@ $5.50) was a good deal 👍!
Will return to explore more of the menu.
I really enjoy this place, but certainly (like many mainstream Chinese) do not expect to eat anything healthy. Even speak vegetables are drenched in sugar or oil.
The dumplings are nice, just serving sizes too large. If you go with only two people you will struggle to taste anymore then two different flavours.
The Szechwan dishes are nice and spicy, however some very, very oily. But it is what you expect. Service is also good, not fantastic.
These are hands down the best dumplings I've ever had. Expertly crafted and full of flavour, the steamed pork dumplings are by far my favourite! The price points are also very affordable for the amount of food/quality of food you get, which is always a good thing!
We also ordered some spring rolls and the hokkien noodles with beef and vegetables in the black bean sauce. Nothing was too oily, too salty or bland. Everything we had was perfectly balanced and delicious. I am definitely eating here again and again!!

Didn't think much of their duck wraps. Not too much flavour to be honest. Might try some other items next time, but dumplings are always a safe bet.
Surprisingly bigger inside that it looks from the entry. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. Food came out fast and was very nicely cooked. Dumplings were filled well and the skin was nice and thin.
Waggu beef was nicely flavored, however, I think I might have got a sinew section that didn't render down enough.
San choy bow was claimed to be the best they have ever had.
Would happily return anytime to test the rest of the menu.
Great place in a good location, many many dishes to choose from; the place is clean and the service is also good. Might appreciate the tone down in msg for some dishes as I’ve been through two bottles of water in an hour
Food was delicious could not fault it and really quick service. I will definitely come back. Only issue was, their tables were so low it was abit uncomfortable, especially for my boyfriend who is very tall. Otherwise loved everything, highly recommend to go here :)
A good go to restaurant not only for dumplings, Their stir fried chilli beans with pork mince was a stand out! The prawn dumplings were also very good, I loved them with some of the balsamic vinegar they had as a table condiment! One negative however there was they didn’t bring out our food at the same time, and we had to wait for others to get their meals.
My favorite dumpling place. Recently had delivered dumplings and the sszechuan sauce but it was a packet sauce. Which wasnt very nice. Very peppery sauce.
I Love Dumplings is a very consistent restaurant that serves up an extensive range of Chinese dishes. They specialize in dumplings, which are definitely worth checking out. Great for bigger groups so that dishes can be shared! . Shao Long Bao (8 pcs) $10.80. Dumpling skin was thick and didn't have very much soup inside. ★★☆

First time to this restaurant. It's surprised so busy on the weekend. And we are lucky to get the table around ten minutes waiting without no booking. Staff are friendly and kids welcome. The dumpling with the chili sauce is amazing. Will definitely back soon again!
Not too busy on the weekdays. Food took some time coming out but definitely worth the wait. Casual and nicely decorated setting suitable for both family and friends outings.

Quite a big venue, no fine dining, attentive service and time for good old yummy dumplings with wonderful companions ... and that's how you should enjoy dumplings.
Order a few and share them with some friends, BYO wines or reasonably priced alcoholic drinks.
All that for around $15.00/person ... good food and good time, doesn't have to be expensive ... a simple joy in life. JT-22/08/2018.

This is one restaurant I’ll always go back to whenever I have a craving for dumplings (which, let’s be real, is at least once a month). Special shout out to the pan-fried chicken & prawn dumplings, the xiao long baos and the steamed pork wontons in Sichuan chilli sauce - you’ll always catch me ordering these 3 dishes without fail.
The service is efficient, and you don’t have to wait long to get your food. This place is quite popular, so book ahead during nights/weekends instead of just rocking up. Also, be aware that it will get quite noisy inside during busy periods, but the delicious dumplings and cheap prices make it an easy pick for lunch or dinner.
Amazing food and value. 15 pan fried pork dumplings for under $10 is just too good. I visit weekly and haven’t had a sub par meal EVER. Check them out for yourself!
The dumplings here are great. Be it steamed or fried they deserve a thumbs up. But it's not just the dumplings, we came here in a group so we also ordered Si Chuan beans, sweet and sour chicken, and a beef stir fried noodle. Apart from the noodle, which was disappointingly bland, they all tasted great. They came in a generous portion too. We also ordered fried ice cream for dessert. It was good, not great but good. My partner though seemed quite disappointed with it. Still, overall it was a great lunch.
Love this place for decent tasting cheap dumplings! There is an odd smell inside the restaurant but if you can overcome it then you’re in for a decent cheap dumplings! The chilli dumplings are a standout here.
This place serves one of the best dumplings and spring rolls I've ever had. Their spread of Chinese food is also very very good. Definitely worth visiting again.
Awesome Dumpling joint!!! I meet one of my friends here for dinner once every couple of months, even though neither of us live close. I love the dumplings - the veggie ones are so delicious!! And the ones in the chilli sauce. The spring onion pancake is delicious, as is the chinese broccoli with oyster sauce - YUM!! The best part is the veggie fried rice - I could just eat this without any other dishes. So flavoursome and heaps of egg!! Great price point, always quick to get the meals - excellent for a mid-week dinner.
The 15min walk there from home always seems like a good excuse to order far too many dumplings. Generally consistent quality although the staff sometime seems to rush you. Particularly keen on the chicken & corn dumplings in the sichuan chilli sauce.
The service was great and the staff were friendly. The Xiao Long Bao were delicious and the battered king prawn was great too! I will definitely be going back.
Came on Friday night,its a nice place. Staff are friendly and they have many choices of dumplings. Recommend to order few small serve dumplings and some main dishes to share. And don't forget to try dumplings with sichun chilli sauce, it's the best in Melbourne. Definitely will back here soon.
Never been disappointed here. We always have a plate of dumplings with Sichuan chilli sauce, some xia long bao and the hot and sour soup. Good consistent food and reasonably priced.

Came on Thursday night, we got the table without the booking in ten minutes. Not too bad. Staff are friendly and food is amazing,specially for Japanese eggplant with pork pie. For dumplings, we love our favourite steam pork dumplings with sichun chili sauce. We will back soon definitely!
Arrived here at 4.30pm so after school to have a quick early dinner. The place was completely isolated no one was seated except us and one more man. Interior wise, this place was extravagant they decorated the place with nice furniture and huge red lanterns. Making the inside feel very luxury, interior is way better here than in the city!
Food: well we ordered the special fried rice and then the crispy fried beef noodles. First time the fried rice came out cold but staff were friendly and took it straight to kitchen to warm it up for us. Both dishes were average the noodles were kinda bland but overall the experience was mehhh.
Nicer ambience compared to the city branch. Orientalist style furniture and spacious.
Plus side is that there are a few additional items here, including custard buns!
Kid friendly as well.

Seen a few mixed reviews but decided to give them a try to see for myself. Visited with my gf and we ordered quite a large amount of food. Kung Paw chicken on crispy noodles, Szechuan chilli pork dumplings, prawn dumplings, steamed shao long bao buns and even had dessert with a couple of huge creamy custard lava buns. Really impressive portion sizes and value. A lot of the dumplings come in serves of 15 for under 10 bucks. We left extremely full and satisfied for under 60 bucks and we were eating what most family's consume. Can't wait to come back. Definitely want another one of those custard lava buns.
I was expecting the noodles to be an oyster sauce like colour like shown on the menu so when a plate with orange came out I was a bit disappointed. The dish was packed with flabour but would have been better if it wasn't so oily. The fried dumplings were great. The dough was a nice thin consistency that was cooked to a beautiful crisp. When you bite into it there was a lovely fatty juice that came oozing out which I don't usually get eating fried dumplings at other restaurants. Topped off our meal with fried ice cream (of course) which had an orange citrus flavour on the outter layer.

Also had the sweet and sour pork as a guilty nostalgic dish I never usually would order. Quite tasty, but very oily! Can't wait to come back again to try some more specialty dishes!
Went to ILD tonight, it was packed as usual. The waiters were very friendly and the food we ordered came out very quickly.
The pan fried pork dumplings and Xiaolongbao were great. The steamed prawn aren't worth a look, very little flavour.
All the other food and was very good and reasonably priced.
A lot of people dislike the service here, when I was paying I got a bit of attitude from the staff member because I got the PIN number wrong and had to do it again. It doesn't bother me though because we had good food, speedy service and value for money.
Will be going back and recommend to others.
The restaurant was nicely decorated with red lanterns, wooden table and hanging wall. The staff was friendly. We ordered pork dumplings, chilli green beans with pork mince, lamb spare ribs and green tea ice-cream. Loved all the dishes. The dumplings were juicy with adequate fillings, green bean has the right amount of chilli kick and the lamb spare ribs were seasoned with lots of herbs and even had crispy skin. I would recommend this place.
Dined here today, they were super busy and didn't have many staff on, our order was taken quickly and the food came out very efficiently. Was excellent as always. The Shao Long Bao is second to none 👌🏼
My partner and I have been here on many occasions. We love the dumplings! They're a good size, juicy and tasty. We always get the pan fried pork dumplings, dumplings in chilli oil and the xiao long bao (which is one of our favourites!). Other times if we feel like being a bit different we've ordered a side of special fried rice or noodles and they've always been great. The food here comes out quickly and is pretty cheap. It's always busy but never a long wait to get a table. Only downside is the not so great service. But the food makes up for it which is why we always return.
Yummy dumpling fix! After being left dissapointed with another restaurant for dumplings, I got my delicious dumplings fix here. As usual, we left satisfied and full with the big food serving. The crispy noodles was a bit salty and average but the dumplings was fresh and juicy, the dough wasn't thick either like most other places. We highly recommend the xiao long bao and pan fried pork dumplings. The decor is nice but a little noisy as restaurant was pretty packed but we didn't mind as we were too busy scoffing down the dumplings.
Like this place, bright and clean, ordered satay chicken, stew pork and dumplings. Short waiting time and delicious food. The pork is my favourite, will definitely try again.

Great dumplings place, especially for steam pork dumplings with sichun chill sauce and lamb spare ribs, come with family on Mother's Day, we have great experience here, the staff are friendly and food is good as well,definitely will back soon.

Come here on Saturday night. This our second time in the I love dumplings, it looks more Chinese dishes choices than Richmond. We try lotus and lamb spare ribs here, it's really nice as in Richmond. Service also great here. And don't forget to take pan fried pork dumplings,its worthy to wait for 25 minutes when they busy.

Tasty dumplings, super reasonably priced - I wish they did smaller serving sizes for tables of 2 - 15 dumplings for most of their serves means we could only try 2 types - loved the shao long bao.
I definitely would not go past the dumplings here. They were tasty and quick with a light shezuan chilli sauce. Tried Mongolian chicken (very very average). Stick to dumplings and you won't go wrong. Busy and chaotic surroundings - be prepared to eat and run!
My first visit here. The best dumplings I have tried so far in Melbourne. The hot chilli soup is disappointed. It is full of pepper. We taste nothing but only pepper. The bok choy with mushroom tastes sour. We didn't expect that it tastes... Well... A bit weird. so we asked the manager /owner (I GUESS she is the manager/owner as she is the only one who is not wearing the uniform) to come over. She is very kind and helpful and let us change to other dish. We do appreciate her kindness as some other restaurants don't care about customers. Great and quick service! Definitely will be back for the dumplings.
Large restaurant in Flemington high Street. Called in here early on a Sunday evening. Only a couple of tables taken at that time but seemed quite popular as more people came in after and seemed to do a good trade in takeaway. Dumplings were delicious, so delicious we ordered a second helping, and very reasonably priced.

went for dinner, they had Peking duck pancakes which was reasonably priced 7/10 the bbq pork buns 10/10, vegetarian fried rice was good to have with sweet & sour pork. Food came fast, was hot and servers were busy but had a quick chat. $70ish for 2 people to share & 2 beers.
