Super cute coffee spot with lots of delicious treats to enjoy. Cozy with a pretty view and good coffee.
My pick of the chicken sandwich certainly did not disappoint as anticipated - the freshly baked bread was soft and sported a gorgeous crunch in the crust, sandwiching a creamy and flavoursome blend of chicken, crisp lettuce and cheese. A simple combination but one executed to faultless perfection. Oh, and accompanied by a good cup of joe.
I love their little place, bright and industrial type. Love they pastry went their for their salted caramel donut and crème brûlée croissants which both were really good.
Mill & Bakery has such a pretty greenhouse x industrial feel and very conveniently located for me in Docklands about 8 mins walk from Southern Cross Station. I came specifically for their Hot Cross Bun donuts just before Easter and they were everything I wanted and more! Super cute and really delicious with an orange curd infused custard stuffed inside.
Super keen to come back to try more of their beautiful looking sandwiches and cakes!

One of the best bakery in CBD area. Always fresh, with lots of varieties.
The shop front is by the seaside, at a quiet corner of Dockland so it's always very welcoming.
The almond croissants are amazing! This is one of the nicer places in Docklands and has a good pastry and baguette selection. Would recommend if around Docklands area
Fav place in docklands to have coffee and baked goods. A friend introduced Mill & Bakery to me a few years ago and I try to go every chance I get :) The Almond croissant is lovely and fresh! We also had our wedding cake made by the team at Mill and Bakery and it was fantastic!
I've been buying their sandwich for sometime and this is the first time that I try their cake! I bought 3 initially but since the box that the gentleman offered were quite big so I was about to buy some more to fill up the box. That's when I was suggested to take the Valentine's Day special tart which scored 5 out of 5 for me! It was so tasty that we couldn't stop eating them! I'm so glad that I've tried out their cakes! Definitely go there more often!
Now that my son's trying out the cookie! It's absolutely a winner! Regret that I only bought one😩

Their sweet baked goods are quite nice. I particularly like their lamingtons (passionfruit, black forest). I did try a baguette and the bread was too tough.
Nice place with great view and nice bakery, but not a fan of its coffee. I'm not saying it's bad, just normal. I wish it could like prettier, maybe.
I came here for a bridal shower and it was lovely! Location was nearby to the pier. Parking is 2hrs which is good if youre there for a quick bite.
Venue is small but very cute. Display is open and options vary. We had hightea so had a great options of sandwiches which was deliciously filled with salmon and cucumber etc fillings. Mini cakes were pretty, scones was perfect bite size. But crumbly but very light. Need more cream and jam! The cho mousse with the caremel was a bit too sweet for me. Looked pretty but i only ate half of a small cup.
Overall lovely venue for girls event.
This is where you go for breaky & coffee at Docklands. Or you can waste your time and punish your palette elsewhere. You choose.............
Beautiful bakery with a lovely high tea service! The curried egg sandwiches are particularly delicious! Also the macaroons are some of the best I have had in a long time! Definitely a place worth stopping by.
Came here for a private function (my cousin's baby shower) and had the high tea option along with a custom cake. Macarons were on point! Super light and full of flavour- lemon one was definitely my favourite. The little sandwiches were also delicious, had tasty filling and quality bread.
Favourite thing was probably the chocolate mousse though, crunchy pearls on top and a sweet caramel sauce inbetween the layers of mousse. So yummy! Would love to come here again for high tea.
[ Cosy place for meetings and coffees ]
Good coffee and a cosy little shop. You get a behind-the-scenes look at the ovens in action so I'm sure the sandwiches are pretty fresh!
Great little bakery, great service, great location, AMAZING food. . . . The view of the harbour is lovely as well. . . A must if you are in Melbourne
Fantastic little spot overlooking the water. Yummy food, great price and very friendly service. Highly recommend the salted caramel donut and hot drinks.
Friendly service, great coffee and beautiful light and fluffy salted caramel doughnuts with honeycomb. The sourdough bread is always a favourite when I have guests over and if it's straight from the oven even better. A calm and peaceful spot in Victoria harbour.
Tasty croissants, decent coffee.
Yummy tarts and treats coffee was weak but I would come back for the sweets
Sweetness. Sweetest Russian coffee maker Mila. :) get some amazing cake or bring your girls to high tea its is a real experience!
Good sourdough. The white sourdough here is very good. I purchased a loaf then came back later for lunch with a friend. The sandwiches were good but I would have liked a bit of kick to it, maybe some horseradish or pickle. The cake I bought was very dry, not worth the price.
Come here for the bread.
Great hidden gem!. Fantastic coffee excellent service and cheap. views are nice the place for coffee at docklands.
I was surprised to see a place of this type in the docklands precinct but very happy I did. Fitter out extremely well and has a real rustic/homely feel. Coffee was good and the selection if fresh baguettes was great. Salmon baguette hit the spot nicely. If in the area probably your best bet for a quick and easy bite.
After living in docklands since 2005 I can confidently say that this is by far the best cafe in docklands, also after a comprehensive survey of almond croissants in melbourne mill and bakery make the finest almost croissants in town, the staff here are super nice and the water side views are the cherry on top
A little hard to find but worth searching for!
Coffee was GREAT! Staff were so friendly and knowledgable- pastries- mouth watering! I suggest the almond croissant heated up- deeeelicious!
Worth the walk. Lovely and friendly service. I had an amazing blueberry flan type dessert there today and it was incredible. Great balance of flavours.
I have had the bread on a number of occassions and it is very nice. Worth the extra $2 that you would pay for supermarket bread
Highly recommend if you live or work in the area, or are passing through as it is just off the bike trail through docklands.
The docklands is death! But, if you're forced to live here by your partner (I am), it's saving graces like this place that make it bearable. The staff are a treat and so are the sweets.
