The Timber located in the Officer and Pakenham area. And yes this is one the rarest occasion we are in this area. We were looking to meet our friend in this area and then we randomly decided to have a breakfast here since it is close to his place. The Timber Mill, Officer. The Timber Mill, Officer. Lovely cafe we stopped on way back from a muddy Hell race for kids. The cafe is small but inviting and the food on offer is great . Friendly staff . Lovely outdoor area. I had the soup of the day which was spring pea and goat and it was delicious . My husband had an open souvlaki with fresh Lebanese bread and it was very flavoursome too . The coffee is All Press which we love . Highly recommended as it’s hard to find good places in the area !
Great ambience about this place with a cosy neat feeling. Had the scrambled eggs and avo toast. The eggs tasted very smooth and creamy which I love my scramble eggs like that. Their menu offers an array of breakfast choices. It's always so nice to come down in this newly well developed area sipping on their amazing lattes with a friend watching the world go by. This is most certainly the place to relax and enjoy.
This is a great little place just off the Prices Hwy in Officer. Buzzy vibe, friendly staff & brilliant coffee. Service was speedy & polite. Excellent food too. This may well become our local on a Sunday!
Excellent Coffee and a stroll away from home! lucky me! Bfast is pretty good too! nice to be able to spend a morning here when "working remotely" and work from an open deck while enjoying a coffee. highly recommended.
Developing area and a lake under construction but don’t be put off. Friendly service, delicious coffee, great food. The croquettes were tasty & crunchy & my partner-in-crime tells me the corn fritters were yum too.
Love myself a good timber mill breakfast or lunch for that matter. Only downside is the service takes a while. I'd recommend the smashed avo for breakfast, and the slow cooked lamb on Turkish flag bread for lunch. The sausage rolls are good too.

Excellent for breakfast and lunch! Food is always amazing and they have a take away option which is really convenient. Everyone I have taken their has thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The staff are fantastic here too which is always a big positive.
First time to The Timer Mill even we lived in the area for about a year, and really happy to discovered that we have such a nice cafe for weekend brunch, and it's only 5 mins away!
The food were wonderful, pull pork burger is the best pull pork dish my partner have had for a while according to him, I had the cauliflower salad, which is a standout in the menu and the flavor didn't let me down either! Very friendly staff too, very happy with the experience, will definitely go back there regularly, hope they're there permanently though, not just because of all yeh display @ cross the road.
After trying past this place for quite a while and dismissing it I am so glad I finally tried it! Best coffees ☕️ we have had in quite a while and our brekkies were great especially the corn fritters with pulled pork 😋 Much better than our regular cafes in Berwick and Beacie, all they need now to keep my husband happy is lactose free milk as other cafes have adopted as he hates soy! The ladies here are so lovely and the muffins so yummy 👍🏻 Will def be back
Hidden gem in the middle of a housing estate. Friendly staff, interesting menu. I got the sandwich which contained pumpkin, sundries tomato, feta and spinach. It's great they've put plastic curtains to stop the wind. Finally a place that doesn't just serve eggs for breakfast.
Yep, The Timber Mill has got it going on! Decor, service, food, coffee - tick, tick, tick, tick! To start the day I was greeted by a friendly waitress who promptly offered me a coffee order and menu (always a good start). My first order was a large soy latte, which was smooth and simply went down a treat. I then moved onto poached eggs, avo and bacon on toast. My lord were the servings generous and everything was cooked to perfection - I don't think I ate for the rest of the day. I'm not out in Officer often but when I am next I will certainly be heading back to the Timber Mill for another feed!
Had a wonderful brunch at this new local cafe in Officer this morning.
Staff were friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Great breakfast/lunch menu items and reasonable priced.
I had the smashed avocado with feta and lemon $13.50 on sourdough bread (and added a poached egg for $3) and it was absolutely delicious. Very generous servings of sourdough and avocado - photo doesn't do it justice!
My friend had the Ricotta Pancakes and they did not disappoint. Coffee was made to perfection and came out "extra hot" just as I requested.
Would recommend going there on a nice day as its outside seating only.
Can't wait to go back and make this a regular brunch outing. This is also a place you could comfortably go solo or with a lucky dining friend/partner.

Great local cafe outdoor dining only, staff were friendly nice simple menu and great coffee. The eggs were cooked perfectly to request and great price only $35 for 2 people for breakfast. Will definitely be coming back!
