Love this place! Delicious food, friendly staff, excellent vibe. I especially loved the lamb shanks and pasta. I highly recommend it.
Went here with the 3 course Groupon deal last night and was certainly not let down, the food was really nice and great portions, we started of with the calamari and focaccia
The calamari could of have more flavour but consistency was as I like it, the focaccia was so yummy and the bread was incredible we both loved it!
For mains we got the scotch fillet and seafood pasta, the scotch fillet was beautiful although it wasn’t a medium we didn’t mind it still tasted great, the pasta was a little on the flavourless side needing some more seasoning but still nice
Then for desserts we got the chocolate cake with caramel ganache and it was really lovely, really enjoyed this place customer service was fine
Thank you for a lovely evening!
Me and my boyfriend went there last night with a groupon voucher for dinner. I was absolutely amazed by how good the service was and also how good the food 👌🏽
We had the zucchini flowers and arancini balls as entree, the parpadele and meatballs and the scotch fillet as mains, sticky date and strawberry crepe for desert.
Everything we had it was cooked by perfection and we’ll definitely return for more.
Big thanks (merci) for the most lovely waiter Loui that made our dinner even more special.
Grazie guys and keep up the good work! ☺️
Excellent food and friendly staff, great value for lunch two courses and drink for less $ 25 .. Great location on Newquay promenade, authentic Italian antipasto entree pastas pizza fish dishes not to mention the amazing choice of gourmet desserts ... yummy !
I got a voucher as a present. My girlfriend and I went midweek, we enjoyed our night the food was good and the staff were helpful and friendly.
I really enjoyed my experience here!! The pasta was to die for, very good quality and prawns were so fresh! One of the best Italian places for dinner!
Great place, great food and great service. We enjoyed our dinner here. Fresh food and lovely desserts. My hubby loves baby goat, very tasty and tender.
Italian appetiser is great, generous serve, veal cheek is soooo tender, mussels in the seafood linguini is very tasty and fresh, great service too
We've been to Renzo a few times and always had good service and amazing Italian food. No complaints so far and would highly recommend if you are looking for a good Italian place to eat!
Delicious seafood pizza, pleasantly surprised. Ingredients were fresh, portion was big plus staff were attentive and lively. We Will be coming back!
View is great. Staff friendly and food delicious! We had the bruschetta, calamari con rucola, porchetta, creme brulee and pannacota alle fragole. Booking another dinner soon.
Beautiful decor and scenery with a beautiful view of the docklands harbour. All food was delicious and the quality wasn't sacrificed due to us using a scoopon voucher. Highly recommend their Pasta and steaks as they were all on point
Food was fantastic, even the kids menu food was nice. Had the Streak which was cooked well, Wide selection of food. Great atmosphere and fantastic, friendly service. Will dine here again.
My friends and I have eaten here several times now. The food is usually nicely cooked and presented, however on occasion it can be inconsistent with some disappointing dishes. The service has been mostly fantastic and the feel of the restaurant is comfortable and welcoming. The mussels are always a hit and the antipasti platter which changes every time is a lovely little collection of tasty morsels! All in all this is a nice place to spend an evening sharing a meal with friends whilst looking over the water and "people watching"!
My experience here was not bad. Had a light dish of seared king fish, whuch was a small serving as compared to its price. But it was delicious.

"...FABULOUS VISTA.. CLASSY SPACE.. EUROPEAN FEEL.. HARD WORKING CREW.. DELISH ITALIAN MENU..."
My son's 16th Birthday.. Wanted some place a little more 'upmarket.. He wanted a nice steak.. We support the Docklands.. Lots of good people have invested lots of good money on dining venues.. But, still not 'flourishing'.. I don't know why.. Can the eateries hold out.. I sure as hell hope the good ones can or the whole place is gonna turn into a wasteland.. OMG what a tragedy if that happens.. It'll be up to the dining public.. Their dining choices.. Fingers crossed..
WE HONESTLY PREFER DOCKLANDS TO SOUTHBANK - MY OPINION: SOUTHBANK EATERIES, MOSTLY OVER-RATED - DOCKLANDS EATERIES, NEW AND UNDER-EXPLOITED - IT'S A FRONTIER WAITING TO BE EXPLORED - IT CAN BE HIT AND MISS, UP AND DOWN, THUS FRESH AND EXCITING..
Anyway, there are 5 of us for lunch.. Quite a few others dining, indoors and out.. We're seated inside.. White cloth napkins.. Devoted service.. Over the course of 2 and 1/2 hours, we order, eat and drink the following:
Entrees
-1 x Herb Focaccia
-1 x Garlic Focaccia
-1 x Antipasto all'Italiana
-1 x Wagyu Braesola e Pecorino
-2 x Calamari con Rucola
-1 x layered Eggplant and Tomato dish
-1 x fresh Sardine dish
Mains
-1 x Pizza bianca con Patate
-1 x Linguine ai Frutta di Mare
-2 x Filetto di Manzo
-1 x Chicken Salad dish
Dessserts
-2 x Cheesecake al Limone
-2 x Strudel
-2 x Creme Brulee
Coffee
-1 x Espresso
-1 x Cappuccino
-3 x English Breakfast pots
Drinks
-1 x House Red
-9 x LLB's
-4 x Lemon Soda
Okay.. My comments.. All was fresh, visually inviting and for the most part: delicious.. Not the best I've had, but very very enjoyable.. Only disappointment was the Strudel - served cold, not enough double cream to balance the dryness, needed ice-cream to add moisture, creaminess and sweetness.. Re portions - I'd like to see a little more on the plates - they're big plates - some were a bit bare.. Re price - they could go a little lower.. I believe the Groupon Voucher price of $176 plus $74 for extras, $250 total between 5, was very near the mark. Yes, it was worth between $50 and $60 each, but I think I would've resented having to pay more than that..
If you're in the mood for quality clean contemporary Italian - keep RENZO'S BAR, Docklands in mind - YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.. AND I KNOW MY ITALIAN.. Ciao cari..

The pasta was outstanding, but was too full to try my salad sadly. It was a nice touch that it came with good Italian cooking at its best as I've been let down by many other Italian restaurants in the past. Service was fantastic also and just what every customer deserves when having a first experience at a restaurant. I am looking forward to coming back.
We had a wonderful dinner last week with the voucher. They are truly Italian food! I remember the taste of capretto, the meat was cooked very well, and it was so tasty. We ordered Fegatini alla Veneziana and Antipasto all’Italiana for entree then Capretto and Cavatelli con antra pasta for Main courses. We finished our meal with tiramisu and strudel di mele. I am very satisfy with our meal from entree, main to dessert. The service is good. Thank you for making our day unforgettable!
Melbourne - clear one moment and raining the next. This didn't stop my husband and I trekking out to Docklands/Harbourtown last night to chow down at Renzo's... especially when I had bought a 3 course dinner Groupon voucher for 2. To our surprise the voucher allowed us to choose from any starter, any pizza, risotto or meat for main and any dessert (except for the cheese platter which we didn't mind). Our waitress was attentive and as soon as we ordered our meals, our drinks came out promptly and soon after our starters followed. Please feel free to drool over the lovely photos I've attached to this review... we loved every bit of it! Our favourite part was obviously the dessert... I can't go pass a sticky date pudding without drooling into my shoes and my husband can't stop 'uhmming' and 'ahhhing' over some burnt sugar on top. Will definitely come back!
Nice docklands waterfront promenade view as we had an outdoor table. Wide selection of Italian cuisine. I had a vegetarian pizza. They make delicious decent sized, what seemed like "wood oven" pizza! Pleasant location and experience.
If you like al dente, the cavatelli is the best pasta ever. Great attentive service too. The children and adults in our family all love the food here.
Came here with friends and since I wasn't that hungry I just ordered the Arancini balls. They were served with a cheese fondue, which made everything lovely and cheese-y. Great place to catch up with a group.
Went here last weekend and was pleasantly impressed. Sure there was a bit of a wait, but what places don't on a busy weekend if you don't book ahead. Had the Stuffed Chicken Breast and it was piping hot when it landed on the table, as well as lovely and moist. The wait staff are attentive and very polite as well
Renzo's offers a perfect spot for lunch on a sunny day. Highlights were the mussels (finger-licking good) and the pizza (thin crust and yummy tomato sauce). The gnocchi was enjoyable and the salted caramel parfait awesome. Add a bottle of nice house shiraz and it was the perfect meal for a lazy Sunday in Docklands. Highly recommended.
Got discouraged when I read the poor reviews on here but was pleasantly surprised. Food was great, we had a Groupon voucher and the service was exceptional - no complaints would definitely come back here!
Had lunch here last week and took advantage of the lunch special. I had the char grilled fillet with potato’s and the apple strudel. The size you get for the price ($25) is great and the location is great for lunch, close to the city but with a view to make you forget about work for a bit. The only downside is the lack of vegetables with the main, I would have liked more than just potato’s.
Renzo's bar is a little Italian bar in the heart of Docklands. It has been opened for 13 years now and the Docklands area is still a ghost town. The manager, Daniel said that they do get busy on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and mid week is very quiet. Image courtesy of renzo's bar. It is right near the waters edge, so this is a nice place to have dinner outside in the summer evenings. It is also right behind Etihad stadium.
We went for a late dinner (without a booking) & were warmly received, all 5 of us. The meals were very well executed & full of flavour. I really enjoyed the goat! Job very well done.
Amazing food, attentive service. Loved it 100% thank u
Definitely going back. Visited Renzo's for a dinner date- had to wait longer than expected, before being seated for our reservation. The food more than made up for it- gnocchi gorgonzola was deliciously rich and filling, highlight of the night was definitely the suckling pig.
Dinner win.. Recently moved to Docklands and came here for some dinner and drinks with friends- was pleasantly surprised by how good the food is. Especially loved their bruschetta pizza. Will definitely come again or get take away if it's too busy.
Been here 3 times, always leave happy.. Food is fresh and service is pretty good.. One of the better eats down Docklands...
My Salmon wasn't too good. Overall still fine. Later on dessert time, Chuang's hazelnut pizza and my tiramisu
Deliscious! The service was outstandig. The waiter was very attentive. Food came out very quickly. Will dine here again.
Relax. Chilled out cafe that has good wi-fi. Good for a coffee or a pizza.
Beautiful Italian food.... Great pasta and I stole my wife's pizza. Beautiful location.
I really enjoyed this place for dinner, great food, reasonably priced and in a beautiful location...... will go back
Great tasting food. Highly recommended.. I went there for breakfast this morning and the quality was great.
I had the buttermilk pancakes which were the best I've ever had and my wife had a big breakfast. Great to see that they had Gluten free toast also! Friendly service, and great tasting food.
My girlfriend said that grilled calamari was “LIFE CHANGING!” The atmosphere was wonderful, the staff are the friendliest we’ve experienced. The chef Kim is magic, the food is delicious. Highly recommend, thank you, and thanks for making our night so great :)
What a beautiful place! Tucked away, High above the Yarra River, we were lucky enough to get a balcony seat! The cheese arancini balls were perfection, as was the eggplant. In regards to mains I had the slow cooked ox cheek, which I would get again in a heartbeat and my partner got a pizza - just as delish. Not only the food but the service was awesome - we’ll be back.
Highly recommended restaurant.
Very friendly staff. Excellent quality food & great coffee.
A very nice atmosphere for couples, families.
Great food great service. Balcony definitely best option if weather is right. The 8hr slow cooked ox cheek is sublime. The paella is perfectly cooked and the pork belly is highly recommended.
Service is a stand out feature.
Easily one of, if not the best Italian restaurants my partner and I have been too! Great service and attention to detail especially with a small child. Food was exceptionally tasty. Excited to come back to Melbourne to visit again :)
Last minute find. 16 people and was accommodated with ease. Service was impeccable. Food even better. Had some sort of pesto with Italian sausage dish, sorry can remember the name, but was perfect!. Drinks and cocktails on point. Atmosphere was great. Happy we found it. Highly recommended!!!
