Smashed Avocado w Eggs 🍳 Probably one of the worst smashed avos I’ve eaten, the smashed Avocado was overwhelmed with goat cheese. No doubt a generous portion but I was more disgusted cause it was too heavy on the cheese. And $3 for a single poached egg, what a rip off.
Matcha Latte 🍵 Terrible, watery. Faint taste of matcha.
In the area and discovered this place. Staff were very efficient and we pleasantly enjoyed our meals and first time at this cafe.
Station street is just conveniently around the corner for us. Had this midweek on the Wednesday just before work. The staff provided us friendly and fast service. Located in the quieter area of port Melbourne (just off Bay Street), among houses, with ample street parking. We had the breakfast stack, and sweet corn zucchini herbs fritters. I throughly enjoyed the taste of the chorizo in my breakfast stack. The portion was just right. The food arrived promptly. Boyfriend enjoyed his coffee. Enjoyed the donut french toast- nice amount of sauce and right level of sweetness. Plus just a nice relaxed place for brekkie with lots of cute dogs outside.
Great customer service. Our server was very accomodating and cheerful. The food was good too. We ordered many things and shared between us and can say that all dishes were up tp standars. Will definitely be back.

Some days I just want to eat dessert for every meal. Actually most day I do. So, anyway, I narrowed down my options from the cafes in the vicinity to one that had a sweet dish that caught my interest.
Meet the Berry Donut French Toast! Sandwiched between two lightly fried pieces of bread was sweet and tarty raspberry jam, and then topped off with crunchy granola and a generous dollop of vanilla mascarpone, and finally dusted with cinammon and powdered sugar. The French Toast was a beautiful golden shade, with a slightly crisped outer layer and the inside were pillowy soft. The flavours and textures of the ingredients blended seamlessly with one another, making each mouthful as delicious as the last.
The Protein Omelette was also a thing of beauty. Studded within the omelette was asparagus, chillies, spinach, and ricotta cheese, and if you think that's not cheesy enough, a handful of goat cheese adorned the omelette. The result? A firm, rich and dare I say, creamy, omelette that was big on flavours. The side of bacon came on two skewers, a unique way to present them. Slightly fatty, but if that's your thing, you'll love it.
The Coffee Date Smoothie was my way of compromising with myself. I wanted something indulgent, yet needed my caffeine fix, and it ticked both boxes. The skinny latte was respectable, but did not leave its mark like the rest of the meal.
The service was genuinely friendly and down to earth, and the quiet location allowed for a relaxing lunch in a quaint and cosy spot.

This is a great place for a weekend breakfast with friends. Good breakfast and good coffee. Nice simple fresh meals. Service was fast and friendly.
Warm and cosy. Just from the outside you already feel relaxed and once inside you just cannot help but feel nice warm and cosy. The ambience is really incredible and perfect for chilling out and just letting go of the hustle and bustle of daily life. Make the food and coffee taste so much better in this environment. Also seems to be a little local favourite and hidden gem.
Checked out this cute little cafe slightly tucked away in a quiet part of port melbourne. Friendly staff and good coffee. I had the breakfast bruschetta with prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella, was really nice and fresh breakfast item. I also like the olive bread!

What fabulous service! Generally when you want to add something to a breakfast dish you'll pay for it without a doubt but when you ask to leave something off there's no way you get a discount. Today one of my dining companions asked for no bread due to a carb free diet, the waitress came back and asked if he would like an extra egg instead. This thoughtfulness was prominent again when we went to pay the bill and she actually asked us how we wanted to pay it. We were thankful to be able to split it in half but she would have happily itemised it if we requested. This is almost unheard of these days, my last few breakfast meals they wouldn't even entertain the idea of bill splitting and I'm talking mid week. Very friendly staff which makes a real difference.
There was a short wait for a table of four and difficult decisions ahead of us with the menu and specials list comprising many tempting treats including raspberry donut French toast which I would have been all over in my pre diet life. I went for the smashed avo and feta on chia loaf which I snuck in here as a health option due to the chia factor. All kinds of yum. We also had balsamic mushrooms with spinach goats cheese and poached eggs. The eggs looked a bit past the land of poached and more into boiled territory but that's the only complaint. We also had a station street stack which is their rendition of a big breakfast (very well received) and the fritters with smoked salmon which resulted in food envy from me (one for next time). Love this little cosy homely corner cafe. A real local gem. The kitchen is right there amongst it all churning out some delicious delights. Beautiful fresh crusty artisan bread and pastries. Bacon is beautifully presented on a skewer. Quirky and just absolutely lovely
A busy and vibrant cafe in Port Melbourne offering a great menu with outdoor seating in the sun. The food menu was impressive with plenty of options and caters for most dietary requirements. I had the smashed avo which was delicious and overall a good size, though I am happy I got a side. My friend had the mushroom dish and loved it. Service started well but once we got our menus and drinks it kind of stopped there. I went up to order and was told it was table service - i said that was a surprise and we wouldnt have known as no one had approached us. After that it was fine, but it is busy (we even went at 12.30 - typically a quieter time). Other than that, very pleased we went.

This cosy little café offers great coffee, delicious food, and such friendly employees. This café has such a relaxed atmosphere that you feel as if you could sit there and drink coffee all day and just watch the world go by.
I ordered a cappuccino; it wasn’t overly hot, which was quite disappointing. But the flavours were ok and it was quite rich and creamy.
I ordered the Station Street Stack which was fantastic! I loved the beetroot relish, and thought it was a great addition to the dish. It added a tartness which helped to add another depth of flavour and cut through the richness of the avocado and eggs.
My friend ordered sweet corn, zucchini and herb fritters and loved them. All the flavour combinations worked magically together and the poached egg was cooked perfectly

What a great location for this fabulous little cafe which is located across the road from the tram stop. We manger to get a seat and ordered our coffees. The coffee is Niccolo which tastes smooth, its medium roasted and not as strong as your typical Italian coffee. The chai latte is madec with chai leaves, calmasutra brand. Unfortunately, today they ran out of their oero hot chocolates which was disappointing but we will come back to try it. The interesting thing about this cafe is that there is always people lining up for a takeaway coffee in the mornings, the line moves quickly and the staff worked well together. The vibe is relaxed and a bit of fun, they play old school hip hop, the tables are set up in twos, there is bench space to sit near the large window and a long line of people out the door but don't let that scare you, its a good thing.

I always go for a freshly squeezed juice and an omelette from the specials board. Generous serving size and staff are very accommodating.
Vibrant and friendly crew offering a slick and quick experience. Coffee is first rate, owner Andrea adds a quirky feel to the place and is in tune with her guests - remembering their "usuals" and more importantly everyone's names it would seem. Menu updated regularly and special requirements catered for without fuss or judgment, try the asparagus and salmon eggs! OMG!

Cute cafe on a quite street opposite the team line and a park. Great for a quick coffee and some grit toast that's quite nice. Was once my local but ended up moving so it's out of the way.

Food and service was really great. I had scrambled eggs on toast with chorizo and grilled haloumi on the side. Great coffee, one of the things I can't stand is warm to cold coffee, the temperature was perfect.
It’s not often that I’m in the mood for a salad but ordering the honey roasted pumpkin one feels like a treat. If you’re a pumpkin-lover like me, it will make your taste buds sing. Station Street also has a great chia pudding and some tasty sweet-corn and herb fritters.

A great little cafe down the road from the office, love popping in here every now and then for a bite to eat. They do a great Vietnamese iced coffee (which you don't see very often on menus around Melbourne) and a mean peanut butter choc chip cookie! Having sampled the all day breakfast and lunch menus, my preference is for the brekkie options. The sandwiches for lunch are a little lacklustre. But they do a fantastic smoked salmon morning salad and the breakfast bruschetta is fab! I also love their chorizo baked beans but unfortunately these only featured over winter so will have to wait and see if they (hopefully) bring them back next year. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
I really enjoy eating at this cafe. The food is always delicious, prompt and in good portions. The staff are all friendly and very kindly found us a table on a particularly busy Saturday afternoon. You might need to flag a staff member down when you first arrive to get a table/menus but other than that the service is great. I'll be coming back again.

Been here twice for lunch. Baked beans were my favourite. Wasn't too wrapped with the Reuben. Coffee on both occasions was really good. Strong & hot. Hope to return soon for soup before the weather warms up. Tried to book a table for breakfast but was harshly told they do not take bookings. Were happy to let us pay separately.
Was in the area and decided to get a good quick take away coffee, and that's exactly what I got. A great example of a cafe which doesn't sacrifice speed of service for quality
We live just down the road, We have friends who visit regularly and rave about station street but to be honest, for me it's just a little pricey. I think if breakfast in particular were a few dollars cheaper it would make all the difference and we would be here more often because it's our first choice rather than just because it's so close. But for the price there are plenty of other cafes in port Melbourne that are far better. I do love the coffee here, and the soup specials are nice , the staff always go out of their way to do take always for us if we ask which I love.

I may have discovered my special, secret spot in Port Melbourne. Station Street Trading Co is off the Port Melbourne beaten track (being Bay Street) and is instead located on the corner of Raglan and Station streets, across from the lovely parkland adjoining the light rail track. To get there on public transport, nothing easier – just hop on the 109 heading to Port Melbourne and hop off at the North Port stop. I love station street with its pretty terraces and off leash dog walking park. At least, the dogs in it are mostly roaming free so it is either an off leash park or filled with unlawful delinquent dogs. Either way, I don’t mind since the four-legged frolickers seem to be having a great dog time, which is a sight that always puts me in a good frame of mind. Best of all, if you are ready to refuel, there is the Station Street Trading Co where you can park the dog, make yourself comfortable and enjoy some decent coffee and a very tasty breakfast offering. I myself didn’t have a dog
That pumpkin quinoa and lamb salad is INCREDIBLE! Will be back again just for that! Great set up, not too loud and noisey. Very friendly and accommodating staff :) Think I've found a new fav!

Train wreck. Station Street Trading used to be one of my favorite places for food & drink around Port Melbourne, but after today I doubt I'll be back.
Between the cold coffee, the waitress in the pink hoodie shouting at the kitchen about the days specials & the fact that they were out of EVERY dish we attempted to order, to say we were disenchanted would be an understatement.
I guess it explains why there was only one other customer when we walked in? (& walked out straight after our coffee).
Maybe there's been a change of management? Either way... I'll be going elsewhere for lunch & coffee future.

They tick all the boxes- sweet little set-up, good staff, good location & a great, varied menu.
Everyone is catered for here- from your bacon guzzling, fry up type to your almond milk, kale smoothie health nut. You can't go wrong.
I was of the latter persuasion (almond milk latte, kale smoothie) & also ordered the salmon breakfast salad, which was divine. The fennel jam was an especially wonderful addition to the dish & something I hope to replicate at home.
Can't wait to come back!

Great good with the bonus of having Phoenix soft drinks on the menu. I had the Thai Beef Salad which was beautiful. Sticky & fresh! Himself had the Pulled Pork Bun which was excellent. The service was a bit lack lustre albeit friendly. As a server, if you can't remember what we order as we're ordering then perhaps use a pad & pen. Would go back again for the food, coffee & Phoenix!

Best coffee in Port. I've tried many cafes in Port Melbourne, seeking out a good coffee. Trying to satisfy my dying need of a small extra strong soy cap. (no sugar, trying to cut back on the sugar). And although it had been 2 long months since my last coffee, (I had decided to give it up all together as no one could satisfy my coffee needs), I do believe this is the best coffee in Port Melbourne, Although a local just mentioned to me another place where she believes she has the best coffee... we'll see. Service was magnificent, love the laid-back atmosphere. Had the muesli for breakfast, it was amazing. So amazing. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, why not have something amazing and come here!

Love love love it!. It is always difficult tyring to choose just one thing to order whenever I go to Station Street Trading Co as everything on the menu is just absolutely delicious. The staff are always attentive and lovely. The coffee is the best that I have had in Melbourne and the barista's aren't too bad on the eyes either. It is now one of my favourite places for breakfast/lunch.
Lovely. We had coffees and breakfast here this sunny winter's day and it was just lovely. I think it's adorable that they supply blankets just in case it gets a bit nippy. The coffees were perfect and the bacon and eggs were generous, delicious, and came out in good time. The only thing they need to watch out for is the follow-up service. Thanks kids, you're doing a great job.
Loved it!. Located in a quiet Port Melbourne street away from the traffic of Bay St, Station St Trading Company hits all the right notes. Plenty of seating outside in the sun, is a draw card on nice day. The menu looked incredible and I didn't see a meal come out of the kitchen that I wouldn't try!
We sat inside just a for a coffee and the latte was just right. There is a nice feel to the place and its somewhere I would go back to no doubt.

Great addition to Station Street. Love this new cafe. I grew up on this street so to see a great cafe bring quality food and vibe to Station Street is amazing to see. The decor adds a nice touch. The menu is small but really appealing. Would be great in summer sitting in the park. Quite amazing what they are capable of producing in a tiny place.
Fantastic atmosphere. Perfectly poached eggs, tasty sides and friendly staff. Not too loud for a small venue and lunchtime rush managed easily. Vegan options. Pleasant music. Highly recommended.

Great food but really slow service. Tried the cafe for breakfast this week. It was busy but no busier than most good cafes. Food took forever to arrive. When it did it was very good. I recommend this place but be prepared to wait.

Very nice local cafe, enjoyed what I ordered too. The prices are slightly on the expensive side although the ingredients are of good quality. Service was friendly but it takes patience to get their attentions. There was no screaming noisy kids around thank goodness.

A great hidden gem in Port Melbourne. Go past the bigger cafes that are close and head to Station Street Trading for better service and better quality food, by a long way. You won’t be waiting as the meals come quickly and served with a smile - rare these days. Plenty of seats around the cafe or maybe grab take away and eat in the park opposite. My eggs were cooked to perfection - the pic says it all. A must visit.
Came for breakie and ordered the smoked salmon, asparagus and poached eggs, fresh juice and chai. Good location and good food. Dog friendly place with dog treats! 🐶

The BEST breakie I’ve had to date. I’m GF and DF and there were so many options for me! Honestly, I’m impressed. Food was so delicious. Menu is so diverse and original, and cater for all allergies. Staff are so wonderful. A hidden gem. Local hotspot. We will be back !!

Lovely place, great customer service and beautiful food. 4 out 5 for taking a bit too long to get our food and also for one of our meals missing an item (bacon) in the sandwich (which is supposed to come with the dish). Apart from that everything was great. Thank you so much, I really loved my French toast.
