Everything is good and the service is also very nice. The taste is traditional as I eat in China and there are many kinds of food that I can choose. The price is always kind for most of people.

Been My secret hidden corner in Melbourne CBD when I’m alone, or with friends. Love malatang broth here. Staff are always smiley, welcoming and helpful. I don’t normally return to one place easily, but this David’s Hot Pot on Russell street has changed my mind completely. J’adore! X :)

The hotpot Malatang is really delicious while both the vegetables and meats are fresh . The chengdu special drink is also worth to try. The mild spicy is not too much spicy and just suitable for me😋😋

Fo0die dined as a guest of David’s Spicy Pot and as such, the rating does not give any consideration to customer service.
David’s Spicy Pot, at the time of writing, has two locations, one on Elizabeth Street and the other on Russell Street in between Bourke and Little Bourke Street (this was the one we visited). The concept at David’s Spicy Pot is you select all the ingredients you want in your noodle bowl yourself, bring it to the counter to weigh ($3.20 per 100g), choose your soup base and the kitchen will cook it all up and have it delivered to your table. You can basically choose how light or heavy you want your meal to be.
After visiting David's other restaurant, this was a must try! Again, great range of fresh ingredients to choose from and the staff were friendly. Will be back soon!
We really enjoyed David's Spicy Pot. My daughter & I each got our own bowl. We went with the pork bone soup broth which was super tasty. Need to try some of their other options. Good selection of items to add to your hot pot. Staff were very nice. Comfortable atmosphere.
