I purchased the parma and chips for lunch this afternoon. Excellent value however the parma was a little bit dry on the bottom. The cheese and ham on top complemented the chips very well.

This pub is fantastic! I come every Monday night with my trivia team (Lets get Quizzical), the quizmaster Tony makes for a terrific host, always throwing out curveballs and jokes.
On nights that we aren’t taking names and kicking ass, this pub is a great place to relax with a few drinks and grab some delicious pub food.
Also it is definitely worthwhile downloading the app because you can get some fantastic deals on food and drinks.
Went here on a Friday with a few friends after finishing classes at RMIT for another week. Despite the bar being busy we felt well looked after and our food came out in a reasonable amount of time.
The food is also fantastic, 2 or us shared the absolute monster Tomahawk steak and it certainly lived up to its name, and my other friend got a parma that made my mouth water despite being filled with steak,
Beers were good (and tasted even better at happy hour prices), and the venue had a great atmosphere.
Fantastic Steak in the beergarden with great love acoustic music! Staff were fantastic. Great Happy Hour as well. We ended up staying in the beergarden for dinner then went into the main bar for music. Give this place a try!
Went to the Queensberry Hotel on a friday night for after work drinks with my colleagues, started with a sit-down dinner in their side-room which had a nice comfortable feel to it. The staff were fantastic especially the waitress who handled our 10 person group with ease and a smile and the food was top-notch.
We ended up staying a few hours after trying the different beers and spirits that the helpful bartenders suggested to us, even delving into a few delicious cocktails.
Wow the Parma's were amazing here! Had the choice of 7 different ones to choose from, not only were they huge but delicious for the price! My girlfriend had the Gnocchi which looked and tasted delicious (i had to take a bite) and overall was well presented on the plate.We sat outside in the beer garden, was a cool well spaced area and could watch the footy in the background with a pool table nearby.Beers were well priced but as we came at happy hour everything was $10 so we spoilt ourselves.Definitely will be coming back with friends next time in the city!!

My work took me to Melbourne and the neighbourhood next to Lygon street - feel like little Italy :) after a brekkies, lunches etc (all italian) something else is well respected hahaa~
This good looking, well kept hotel is definitely a must if you are around Carlton. Service was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of they food offerings, wines etc.

Great spot to stop by for University of Melbourne students or anyone else in the vicinity. Vibe is laid back and comfortable and staff are quite friendly. Meal and drink deals kindly accomodate those on a budget.
This place is really significant for Melbourne Uni students - when I went to uni I came here for loads of pub nights and events. The student meal deals are pretty good - 10$ select meals with a jug of on tap. The meals are decent pub fare, (the parmas here are famous and enormous) and all come with chips, but food often takes a long time to come out as I have never known this place not to be busy. Prices without the student deal are pretty high though. good outdoor space with pool table and extensive seating, lounges inside as well as a more formal dining area. Gets pretty busy and popular on weeknights
Pretty good pub all things considered. Apparently a favourite for local students, the first thing I noticed was the distinct lack of a horrible smell that seems to accompany too many bars. That was already a tick in favour for them.
The food we ordered was the chicken parmigiana. The servings were huge! It came with chips and salad and the entire plate was only $15, which was great. Taste was really great for the decent price.
We didn't have time to try any drinks but atmosphere was pretty decent. The band that night however was super loud, which was annoying since we had to shout over them, but good overall.
Lovely atmosphere and perfect location. I love strongbow cider but very few places have it. But this tiny but cosy place has strongbow tab! Excellent :)
Great food for the price. I had the $13 beef burger on a Monday. For $13 it was spot on. Nice staff as well always a plus!
If you serve your customers consistently well, they will return..that’s a guarantee. This is the simple code of conduct they follow exceptionally well at Queensberry. Over the years this hotel has grown up from a classic old school pub to one which offers a variety of specials through smartphone apps and smart in-house advertising. But the good part is that the technology has only added value to its services. It also doesn’t seem overly pushy; just there to cater to the tech savvy new generation too! The staff is very friendly and the ambience is still that of a laid back pub. Add to this a bang for buck weekday special menu makes it just irresistible! We love Parma, and that’s the special on Thursday evenings. Get in before 7 pm and the drinks are also on happy hour prices. I personally love the QB draught ($6.5 a pint HH rate), which is extremely refreshing and best had cold on its own without munchies!
Traditional pub with great atmos and friendly staff. Perfect antidote to the soulless hipster bars of the CBD. Could be the ideal local. I've spent more than a few Friday evenings there after work and I can recommend the food, the cheap drinks and the staff who are actually approachable. Who would have thunk it!
I frequent the Queensberry weekly, but not for it's food unfortunately. The staff are great, but the food not so much. I love the fact that there is an outdoor heated area with a pool table, but you often find that the area has been booked for a function and you get asked to leave which is disappointing. Great in summer on the deck though.
Queensberry Draught = drink magnet. Traditional, friendly, no-nonsense and affordable. Student deals all day.

I've always enjoyed a great Parma from the QB on trivia night (Thursdays). Great for the price, the salad isn't too bad. Tried the Outback Parma and absolutely loved it - a great variant. Again - cant go wrong for the price.
My friends and I frequent the Queensberry on Thursday nights for trivia. Thursday is also pot n parma night for $14 and on a Thursday it's one of the best parmas available for that price. Can't say if it's as good on other nights. Standard prices are a bit steep, but the student prices are great. Also, for those complaining about false advertising of prices, it is clearly signed that the "All day, every day" specials are for those with a valid student ID.
Give discounts to students, no TAB and they let us have our pub crawls there, really good food just gotta ask for chips with parma
Dropped in off the cuff, lots of good areas to sit, we sat outside In the side area, very chill and relaxing, music was great and not to loud, young girl behind the bar was friendly.
Didn’t have food this time, but will give it a go next time.
After a long roadtrip, we went in only for a beer, but the coziness and the kind crew made us want to dine here, the music was outstanding and on the right volume, you can hear people on your table but not the other tables, the food is tasty and delicious... But it took ages to arrive and we where exhausted, they explained to us that their cheff resigned in the middle of the night... I might come back, hoping for a good timeframe from the kitchen.
I recommend the Hotel to compensate costumers in some way when this kind of unexpected situations happen.
Eat here. Dropped in for a cheap Tuesday burger before the comedy and it was good as. Eggs in the burgers perfectly cooked still a bit runny (can get messy, this ain't for sooks). Chips super crispy, come with tomato sauce so ask for mayo if you're fancy like me.
Stopped in for lunch with friends and we all were very happy. It is a pub with a lot of characters and history but also great food and service. We all tried theirs special parmas which was one of the best we had and reasonably priced. Great beers too!!
I just woke up after a sleepless night working on my assignment for the university. After walking around nearby I ended up here just out of curiosity usually I’d just pass by. I asked for breakfast and they served it to me even it's 2:30 pm and Saturday (breakfast is on weekdays). It was delicious! Friendly staff made me feel home. I didn't know well about this hotel.
