A nice and cosy cafe with vines hanging from the ceiling. The soy chai latte with honey has a smoothe texture and well steamed. Temperature wise, a little hot. The honey makes the chai latte sweet. The complimentary cookie has soft chocolate chips.

Ahhh Melbourne, the city that keeps on giving. Came here for a cuppa and decided to sit rather than rush off. Cutest little cuppa of latte with a heart in the middle. Nice. The coffee blend was good and actually served hot. Tiring to get warm coffee in some cities.
I was eyeing off the vast array of food from croissants, to massive rolls stuffed full of fresh ingredients. Instead, I ended up buying a chia pudding to take back to the office. Was more filling than I thought and ended up having some for lunch as well.
Staff are ever so nice and were busy so early in the morning.
The ambience is nice, with clean lines in the decor and a sense of a place you come, you eat and you go!
Note: Wheelchair friendly. Kid-friendly. Dietaries catered for - just let them know.
I promise I will take a photo next time. Got carried away again with my belly grumbling for food.

This cute little place resides very near the corner of Lonsdale and Swanston. It’s a nicely fitted out city coffee and snack shop, with lots of greenery inside and Andrew Bertuleit photos of Melbourne on the wall. I ate in, and had the chicken and cashew gluten free roll toasted - top right in the photo. With a coffee it was $12, which is good value for the CBD. They serve code black coffee, and my usual latte was lovely. The roll was perfectly toasted, while filling of cashew, avocado, mayo chicken and crispy lettuce could not have been done better. With the traffic and people roaring by outside, somehow this place has a degree a degree of tranquility to it, and separation from the bustle. Efficient staff.

Cute cozy cafe located on Lonsdale Street near Melbourne Central. Excellent attention to detail with the decor. I ordered the Mr Muscle smoothie, that was freshly made for me. I enjoyed the smoothie and would happily come here again for another smoothie or to try a coffee.
I always walk pass this place and decided to pop in to grab a coffe and bagel for brekky. Bagel was a little under toasted but they were definitely generous with the cream cheese. The coffee was very well made and hit the spot.
Nice little quaint cafe with seating at the back of the cafe.
Lt Nic has super friendly staff who remember your coffee order and always greet you with a smile. The cafe is cosy and also has a good selection of sandwiches and pastries.
Friendly bunch of staff that constantly make our arvo easier with awesome coffee by code black roasters, and delicious pastries or cookies to keep us sane to get thru the day. Huge range if sandwiches and wraps to try also!

Had the veggie brekky roll, ingredients tasted fresh, good size and price, didnt have a coffee but will try next time as I could tell there were a few regulars enjoying theres.
Found Lt. Nic on Google Map, had a neat Cold Brew. A cool lil' coffee shop that you might have walked past 💯 times without noticing it! Next time on Lonsdale St near Swanston, take a ☕️break! I'll be back soon for a latte when it's not so hot, hopefully staff get used to crazy iPhone photographers by then? 🙌
Really great cafe! I came here on a Saturday for a bagel and some almond milk coffee. Really fantastic atmosphere! It's right near Melbourne Central on Lonsdale St, so I will definitely be coming back often :)

We loved the Mocha - GORGEOUS.
Flat white - SINGLE ORIGIN - GORGEOUS.
Long Black - SINGLE ORIGIN - GORGEOUS.
THE SERVICE was SUBDUED, relaxed AND accommodating. Wonderful!
The venue is small but nice.
The SINGLE ORIGIN is from Costa Rica. If we read the sign right, it has notes of Hazelnut, Citrus and Toffee. What's not to love, hey?
(The Whippeteers enjoyed putting a post-it note SKETCH of our beloved Whippet, "WASABI", on their wall. She was at home, enjoying our couch).

Cute, comfortable place to enter, even if it's a little cafe.
Not the best magic coffee I've had, but the lamb roti wrap was very enjoyable.
Only wish I can get there before 3pm more often than I am able to.

It is a small but cozy coffee shop in swanston & lonsdale st. Had the latte which is pretty good with flourless mandarin cake. The cake is pretty delicious, it comes with mandarin sauce/jam in the dropper, it should be injected in the cake, or surrounding to enhance the mandarin flavour or make the cake become moist.

A hole in the wall coffee spot just of Seanston St is well worth a look. Great fitout that is modern and uses the space well. The do only have one size for takeaway coffees and that usually tells me one thing; they are serious about coffee! My cappuccino was good but could have done with a bit more froth. Nice joint
... I had their “lunch box” special, which is available only on weekdays, and consists of a main menu item + salad + drink for $15. I had “Your usual reuben” + “Still my favourite ronin” + an Ethiopian filter coffee.
Had a coffee and brekky box here - toast soldiers, egg & muffin. Was a lovely light breakfast and the coffee was delicious! Friendly staff. Only negative was very few tables to sit at.

My new favourite cafe in the city. Lt Nic is an oasis of calmness and coffee brilliance in the manic foot traffic of Lonsdale St.
Love the minimalistic packaging.
Even better, eating here not only makes for a happy tummy, but also a happy environment. All the packaging (which is already very aesthetically pleasing) boasts being made from recycled fibres and being 100% biodegradable - so please recycle or compost once you're done with your meal!

The staff were great, relaxed and friendly, happy to chat with us. There were lots of sweet and savoury treats available too and we couldn’t help but try some of them out. The coffee was well presented and creamy. The flavour delicious from the first to the last mouthful and what you’d expect for specialty coffee.
I stopped here for a quick coffee and bite the other day. Minimalist fit out was modern but comfortable. They offer an assortment of filled baguettes, salads and baked goodies. I was in a rush so I had a quick mocha ($3.8). Nice pleasant coffee and Melbourne-standard coffee art. I did make time for a cute little white chocolate lamingto ($3). Delicious. I used to catch the bus right outside this place to get home from uni. How I wish nice coffee places were as widespread then as it is now!
At $8 for three types of salad it's incredibly well priced and very tasty. I got "The Ronin" which had lots of flaked trout with a lovely creamy mayo-based dressing and crisp green beans. The "Long Live The King" had spicy glass noodles w prawn, French beans, bean sprouts and coriander, which was also very tasty. The prawns were small but sweet, and the salad wasn't too spicy even with the chilli in it. I also got "The Ronin" and I loved the sweet chunks of pumpkin and al dente broccoli. As with Ms No Meat, I loved them crispy chickpeas that they throw into it.
Got the large Cappuccino for $4.70 (Small for $4.20) which tasted quite nice, presentation is also great.
Overall a very nice small cafe I can recommend.

Great little cafe on a very city street - it’s very easy to walk past. They use Code Black coffee beans which is a good sign. Coffee was excellent! Definitely the best coffee in this area of the CBD.
I like the atmosphere here, Just find a spot and enjoy the scene. It is very cosy with Free wifi and nice music in the background.
All day special was really good deal, the BBQ sandwich was so so nice, (100 times better than fast food), probably the best sandwich Ive had. The bread was really crunchy and fresh. Hot chocolate is very rich.
