I think this is one of the best Pho restaurants in Melb CBD. Fast service, you can choose your own sauces and chili. Good service. Not much to say, but definitely my go-to-place when I crave for Pho.
If you don’t mind food court seating, this is a great choice for some quick and wholesome pho. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The chicken pho I ordered was pretty substantial - the ‘shredded chicken’ pieces were more like chunky juicy chicken bits! The veggies tasted fresh and crisp. A good food court choice for sure.
Vietnamese eats in Emporium foodcourt.
Ambience: There wasn't much to say, as it is one of the stalls inside the foodcourt. The foodcourt itself is big though, and pretty nice though most of the time it's packed with people so it gets bit noisy.
Service: There was a line so i queued for a bit before being served. Staffs were friendly, and everything was fussless. Was given a buzzer and it took some time before it buzzed. Cutleries and napkins are self serve.
Food: Their pork vermicelli noodle salad was first of all, generous. The vegs were fresh, the vermicelli were just well done and the meat was soft and flavorful, pretty generous as well. Served with it was the usual sweet and sour fish sauce which I honestly think i need more than one container (which gives the flavor), so i asked for some more and added a bit more to the noodle (it depends on individuals though). Overall i enjoyed the bowl, and it was filling and satisfying.
Price: Reasonable for the portion and quality.

The pho soup is really good. It has standard beef taste, not too thick not too bland. I love their spring rolls it’s not dried but crispy enough.

It makes sense to get the larger bowl for $1 extra really $12 vs $11. For that you do get a nice large serving of meat (chicken in my case) the broth is of high quality here and minimal sauces are required to bring the flavour, unlike some watered down ones I’ve had at other places
Tried several times here, really nice pho. Very traditional soup with fresh beef and chicken. The staff is friendly. Good choice for a fast meal.
Easy to order, and friendly, helpful staff. Food tastes great (had the chicken pho and spring rolls). Will definitely be ordering here again!
Finding good pho in the CBD is rare. I know a few people including my parents who enjoy the pho at their Richmond branch so I was eager to try their express one.
* Broth - it was okay, I could taste my lemon more than I could taste the beef. Missing beefiness but still easy to consume.
* Noodles - not the greatest, very basic and not silky.
* Meat - on the upside, I got their beef special which came with some tender rare beef and a generous amount of beef brisket. No mystery meat to be found but tendon was nice and meaty.
* Condiments - no pickled onions but on their counter was a sauce station. No chilli oil which is a real shame as that gives a lot of fragrance to your dipping sauce but instead is replaced with crushed chillis.
* Value for money - considering it's in the CBD it was alright and filled me up, not a bad choice if you're after a quick meal in the Emporium.
pretty good pho and springrolls. better than any other pho ive tried at any foodcourt in melbourne with a decent price. however, the service is quite poor as the staff are not friendly.
They served a generous portion of combination pho noodle soup. The soup was a bit bland, but that easily fixed with a dash of fish sauce. Done!
The best part was, I helped myself with all the condiment and chili! That's an a+ from me!
Consistent quality with Victoria St branch. Ordered the beef pho and spring rolls. Service was good, made sure we got an extra bowl as we were sharing. Piling everything onto one tray was a stressful exercise in balancing but I made it.
Pho was great, but a bit salty. Spring rolls and lettuce were all good. Bit annoying that you get barely any chilli sauce for the spring rolls and it's in a tiny plastic container.
Locate at emporium shopping centre . Vietnamese food , order bun bo hue is beef soup , its definitely tasty with beef , meat and vermicelli. Little spicy favor, thumbs up next time come again try other ^^
I Love Pho Express is my go to place for food in the Emporium food court. For $10 you can get a bowl of vermicelli noodles and spring rolls that are delicious and filling. Only downside is trying to find a table during peak time to sit down at to eat the yummy food!
Good pho. I had the small serving and it(the small) was a lot more than some other pho chains. Food came out fast and the broth was seasoned perfectly. I saw the normal serving and I wouldn’t be able to finish it. 👍
I visited this sister to I LOVE PHO 264 as I was in the CBD before Christmas. It's two floors up from the street. Same as I ❤️Pho 264 but did not have the chilli oil that Victoria St has.... I prefer Victoria St 👍
Extremely love it! It is soooo nice even better than the one in Swanston. I love the one with tribe. The soup is hot. Only one disadvantage is that the soup is a little bit oil
Cheap for for the CBD location above the Eporium. Not as cheap as Richmond but you still can get a small bowl for $11 and it's quick. Good choice for lunch in the city.
Quick, well priced and convenient pho located in the upstairs emporium food court. $11 for their small bowl of chicken pho with extra veg. Very generous portion. Large would be incredibly filling. Dish was very tasty, just wish they included a bit more veg in the dish.
Pho here is tasty and the servings are generous - I would go for a small bowl next time unless I'm super hungry. The beef slices are a little too big and hard to eat.
For 11 bucks I got a very substantial bowl of noodle. And to flavor...i quite liked it - couldn't remember what it tastes like in the original store, but it's better than some in footscray. I will go back again if I'm looking for budget eats.
I'm always a little weary about eating pho from a food court but not today. The broth was very tasty with all the traditional elements. The beef was rare when added which ensured it was still tender. Fast and tasty.
Pho was great same as I had in Footscray . The broth wasn't the fake chicken stock it was actually cooked on and on and on . Will definitely visit in the cold days if I am in city.
Fab and fast pho. The Emporium food hall was designed to have great options reflecting the rich and varied food culture of Melbourne. Now that the initial opening crush has passed, l ventured back to find pho on a cold-ish day and was delighted the food hall theory had transferred so well into reality.
I Love Pho recreates well its home location highlights. A huge serve of shredded chicken pho with extra vegetables was just $11.00. The soothing and substantial soup was just the thing to fight off a threatening flu. Even found a seat pretty quickly - but forgot a photo in the fog of food anticipation. There are even more authentic pho options - if offal is your thing.
Go and enjoy, whatever you order.

I love Pho is probably one of my favourite Pho restaurants, and I love pho express is no different.
They were quick and efficient without loosing the quality of the meal. I ordered a sliced beef Pho and prawn spring rolls and loved both of them.
There are two sizes to choose from, but even there smallest size is massive. Great value for money, and the staff are very friendly
I can't even deal. This place has amazing Pho! Their soup is so flavoursome and delicious! A good amount of beef too. I believe in Pho, the soup is the key ingredient and I Love Pho really does it well. I can't wait to try their Bun Bo Hue!
Loves their sliced beef pho. Their beef is yummy and the toppings are fresh! Decent price, definitely recommend this place to pho lovers! Portion is big as well.
First pho experience and it was amazing! Loved it. I got the chicken base with beef and chicken and a heap of chilli... Will be coming back again!
Perfect pho for the food court. Service is fast but during lunch time it can be a bit tricky balancing the tray of pho while wandering around the emporium to find an empty seat. The soup base is very flavoursome and it also comes in 2 sizes. I come herr quite often for lunch and will definitely be coming here again.
It's actually my favorite pho place in Melbourne. I always have the beef brisket and I am never disappointed. The small serving is enough, unless you're hungry or greedy, or both. Service is what you would expect in a food court style set up. For $9-$10, you can't beat it.
My boyfriend and I love a good bowl of Pho on a cold Winters day. Love coming to this place and sitting down with a nice hot bowl of beef soup topping it off with a 3 coloured drink! Not too expensive, clean and fills you up! Will be back again and again.
The prefect food court food on a cold day. The flavours ticket all the boxes for my pho craving. I really like the simple menu. Hence express right? :)
What a lifesaver. I had a very unsatisfying lunch at another place in the emporium and was looking for something to fill me up for the rest of the day. A few rice paper rolls were perfect! Delicious and light!
Shredded chicken, bean shoots, noodles, mint and chicken in broth. There's not much to it but it's delicious!
Good Pho but perhaps... It's quite convenient to find Pho in the foodcourt on level 3 at emporium and the foodcourt is nicely spaced out too. The service was fast but not friendly like what the comments mentioned in the past. When I tried the Pho, the broth is flavoursome and hot. The cut chilli they provide is pretty spicy which was lovely. Overall I thought the Pho was pretty good. The only thing was there wasn't as much beef as I had hoped but the meat was definitely better quality than Pho Nom on the lower ground floor.
Chicken pho was tasty and good value, good quality chicken used too(don't go to Pho Nom in the same centre as their chicken was very bad quality)
Just disappointed that when I ordered a coleslaw salad there was no mention of chili and this salad was too hot for someone who can usually tolerate chili
Best taste of Vietnam. I am a Vietnamese who loves good food and has high critics for the food I eat. Pho at this place is the closest to pho you find on the streets of Saigon. I'v eaten at all the popular well known pho places in Melbourne, none of them is this close.
Good for express pho. I have eaten here 3 times and all three times was a good experience.. I was suprised to see some bad reviews. I don't think the broth was tasteless at all. It was full of flavour and the potion size is very generous. Shame on the bowl that it's served in though... soup gets cold easily. At the end of the day honestly this Pho is better the Roll'd Pho ... at Roll'd you ask for extra meat (they charge you $2) and you ONLY get 2 extra slices... :(
The best pho in the city! This place is my favorite for lunch. The broth tastes amazing and is perfect for this winter weather. I have read the other comments and can't undertsand how people have anything bad to say about this place. The pho is always of the same delicious quality and the service is friendly and fast - especially considering they normally have a que at least 6 people long (minimum!!) Would definitely recommend the beef pho.
Best pho in the CBD. Amazing broth, this soup is hard to beat.
Worth braving the 'food court atmosphere' for.
Delicious Pho. I went here after reading a review in weekendnotes and I must say I love it. I ordered the beef pho. I like the selection of meet that you can order to go along with your pho. Will definitely come back here for more.
It was delicious and the soup was authentic.
It's real Vietnamese food.
For me, I Love Pho Express in Emporium is my favourite pho in Melbourne. That probably sounds like an overstatement to a lot of people but I love eating here. The staff are so accommodating and lovely and they cater to my specific tastes so they keep me really happy. I like the food court atmosphere, I love the flavour of the broth, the chilli is fresh, the banh mi are delicious. I always come here every time I want my favourite pho and Vietnamese cuisine. Highly recommend!
Dumpling prawn egg noodle soup.👌
It's hard to find good pho in CBD. Dont think that pho in food court must not good. This one is very nice! Tasty Pho and Drink with reasonable price. You can take fresh chilli as much as you want!
Really amazing vegan pho 🍲 fresh and tasty! Staff very friendly and accomodating to dietary needs! Spring rolls tasted very fresh and piping hot.
The orders take awhile since there's there's only 2 guys who does the preparations but the food was okay..
