Super chill cafe with good coffee and decent breakfast options, speedy service and often plenty of seating. I had the protein pancakes which were covered in crunchy bits and had fresh peaches and cream, YYUUMMMMMMMM.
I work near by and have tried all the cafes around the area. Mr Albert Eastern is the one I visit the most. Keep up the good work team - you're killing it!
Just had the best oat porridge of my life!!! Paired with a Magic (coffee) and super friendly service even though it was takeaway, Mr Albert Eastern have adjusted well and are offering some fantastic options. Highly recommend if you are around Albert Park.

Great little spot in South Melbourne, really enjoyed the pumpkin and cauliflower salad. The workers are beyond amazing.
I can’t believe how close Mr Alberts is to the botanic gardens, what a view! It makes for the perfect brunching and walk adventure. Not only is the location great but so it’s the food, a really inclusive menu with some delicious classics like chilli scramble, eggs Benedict and fritters. It’s also dog friendly which makes our life much easier! 🥰
Nice breakfast place with good ambience. Staff were polite and friendly. The soy chai was one of my fav as it’s not sickly sweet like many places.
Nice little cafe right in the heart of South Melbourne. Came here with my partner and we both enjoyed a relaxed brunch. The service was fairly quick and we both enjoyed our food. The coffee was great too.

I love when I find a cafe without doing any research and they end up being great. This is exactly what happened when I visited Mr Albert Eastern. Was driving around looking for a nice spot to do a bit of work on my laptop, from the outside the place looked very inviting - so in I went. Lovely coffee and the quick snack options are plenty.
A perfect little spot with one of the best views in Melbourne. The staff are friendly and the food is fresh. The Shakshuka is what I ordered and loved every bit of it. Recommend.
Visited Me Albert Eastern over the weekend and the spot is ridiculous. A view I could come for all the time knowing how good the food is, it's nothing fancy, it's just doing what they do well. Customer service is very friendly and homely. Would recommend!

A very cute brunch spot! The venue is lovely with a very homely feel, seems like a nice place to bring the family.
Really enjoyed everything about my visit, the service was prompt and friendly, the coffee was outstanding and the food was great. Ordered a Melbourne classic, the Smashed Avo and this was nice and creamy. Loved the addition of basil on the dish, that's quite uncommon but it worked really well.
Would love to bring the family back here for our next brunch outing!

I used to work in this area and my favourite time of the day would be coming to this place for a coffee, breakfast or lunch! Coffee is fantastic and their food menu is expansive and amazing! Definitely pay this little gem a visit! Melb dot food recommends!
A great place in the heart of South Melbourne. Mr Albert Eastern has a friendly suburban feel even though it is so close to the CBD. I opted for the schnitzel wrap on my visit here. A flavorsome meal with a very nice Schnitz and a killer sauce. The wrap itself is a roti which I thought was a great mix to an all-time classic. Would again!
This is our local cafe on the weekend. The coffee is good and so is the food. The owner is always very friendly but the floor staff are junior and have the tendency to forget simple orders. Otherwise pretty good
Went here for lunch in my work break. Interior is lovely, very light and fresh and the staff are so friendly and happy! I got a soy chai latte and a pulled pork bun. Both were great and came out pretty quick. The bun was massive, I’m surprised I finished it all. Everything in the cabinet for treats and other sandwiches look great, I’ll definitely be coming back.
Update: had the protein pancakes for lunch another day. Absolutely amazing! Would highly recommend trying them if you love sweet things.
Not sure why their Zomato rating is so low, this place is fantastic! Great coffee, friendly staff, fast and really good food! Also great location! Will be back.
Nice little place just around the corner from where I work. Has a nice feel about it , the guy there (who'm I assume is the manager) doesn't have a particularly friendly or welcoming aura about him but otherwise, nice food, great location, lot's of natural light and you can sit either inside or outside. The American waitress is a real asset to the place, very bubbly and friendly.
Easy, chill spot for breakfast in a bit of a hurry. Cute little bright, outdoor space with lots of natural light. Great to sit with a coffee and read the paper. I had the red chili eggs which were basic but very tasty. Great quality food and served pretty quickly.
Their take away menu will be my next investigation!!
Great vibe inside! I was greeted early Sunday morning with smiles. Decor was quaint and warm. Coffee was perfect temp, frothy, and silky smooth!

A massive breakfast today for some hungry piggies! An isolated cafe with absolutely incredible food! We loved this place so much and demolished every dish 😋 the smashed avo was above the standard avo you usually see down chapel street or in Fitzroy. The fritters had such a nice flavour and the beetroot relish really made the flavours pop. The big breakfast board was a show stopper for us as it has absolutely everything we could have asked for in a breakfast! Not to mention it was so yummy 🤤 Finally, the eggs benedict was so different to the typical style. The pulled pork was so juicy and added a very delicious touch to this dish 😊

This is nicely located opposite the Albert park lake, and it has the wood and white layout. The toast is really nice.
Holy shit! This place is the best. The staff are friendly, chilled out and just actually helpful which you don't really get anymore haha. I ordered the big breakfast board and I don't think I'll be walking for the rest of the day. Half way though I felt full but it was way to good to stop eating.
The coffee is really nice aswell. 5 stars!

Great coffee and fantastic breakfast and lovely staff... Great location near work and lovely view over the park. It's now one of my favourite breakfast places.
