The food is always great. Fresh and just love my specially made pizza as I am pescatarian. Even my dad loves the meat pizza’s I order online for him.
Chips are the best and salads too.
Lets not forget my mushroom creamy pasta!!! Mouth watering.
Service with a smile and fantastic customer service. Homestyle italian cooking at its best!!!
I ordered 3 pizzas and a good bread.
My first pizza was a vegetarian pizza which was awesome. It was cheesy, well cooked and the base wasn't heavy.
My second pizza was a vegan pizza which was very good but the cheese wasn't melted and it was messy to eat.
Previous review 2019
My partner and I ordered some pizzas and some garlic bread and it was as good as I remember.
My BBQ chicken pizza was full of chicken and a nice bbq sauce and I really enjoyed the thin base.
The other pizza was an Aussie Pizza with ham and all the trimmings. This was another winner and with the crusty buttery, garlicky bread... yummy!
Overall this was still a great excellent and this place is definitely worth a visit.
The third pizza was a BBQ Chicken which was fantastic, it had thick slices of chicken, and a great BBQ flavour.
The garlic bread was really good too, with a crispy roll and no grease.
Overall this place is definitely worth a visit.
Amazing host ..hearty portions ..great pizzas..pastas could be better
Food was incredible especially given this place is a one man show. The owner was so friendly and made sure we were comfortable. It is a small place but it's very hospitable. We came in a group of four and ordered the gamberi pizza, calzoni, chicken schnitzel and the pesto pasta.
Pizza was thin crust with generous toppings. Calzoni was the best, crunchy bread with juicy stringy cheese pull filling. Creamy pasta with plenty of sauce. Chips were so crunchy and well salted, schnitzel was fresh and juicy.
Tucked away in a small street, this place is a good find!
We ordered the prosciutto pizza and gnocchi carbonara, we were pretty impressed with the food. The owner was very hospitable and welcoming, we really enjoyed our late night dine here. Would definitely visit again
Brilliant Customer Service.
While we waited, the chef generously offered some on the house Garlic Bread. Much recommended and will come again here.
Thank you.
Amazing service - the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Pizza was generous in size, plenty of toppings and very tasty.
Will definitely return.
We ordered the vegetarian and the prosciutto pizza - both very good.
They make everything themselves so it’s all very fresh!
Had the fettuccine bolognese and La Verdura pizza. Very fresh ingrediants. Tasty and good serving sizes. Small little place mainly setup for takeaway but cool looking with a good atmosphere. Friendly staff.
Their pasta is amazing and super tasty. Also, the owner is really generous.
Crave is our go to take away pizza spot. Their pizzas are fresh, hot and super tasty. Lots of options to choose from (not just pizza). Our top 2 pizzas are the tropical and Mexicana. A little bit of sweet and spicy! Big thumbs up 👍
Pizza was awesome and the service was just as good!
Absolutely legendary pizza place. Will definitely be back for more.
If you are looking for amazing food in a small and intimate setting then this place is for you. They have a small sitting area just by the side of the kitchen. Everything is prepared right in front of you, plated in front of you and served to you directly from the counter. I really liked the seating arrangement that they have managed to do in such a small place. The interior of the place is very nicely done as well.
Now about the food. I went there when I and my cousins were really hungry and were looking for good Italian food to eat. I did not know what to expect from this place. We ordered a BBQ chicken Pizza, Gnocchi Pasta, Pesto fettuccini and a Grilled Chicken served with rice and salad.
Everything that we ordered was really really good. Flavors in the pasta were very nice, the texture was spot on and Pizza had a generous amount of toppings and BBQ sauce on top made the pizza more fun to eat. The only thing that was not up to the mark was the grilled chicken. I think the seasoning I the chicken could have been better. But other than that everything was just perfect.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the mood for good Italian food.
Couldn’t recommend this place enough! The food was all freshly made and was packed full of flavour! Highly recommend the pesto pasta! The owner was extremely nice and welcoming as well (-:
It's a small cosy shop with friendly staffs and great services. Had bbq chicken and gambero which we enjoyed.
Ticking off Crave Pizza and Fresh Pasta Bar in South Yarra has been one of my bucket list places for this year and it was definitely worth it! A tiny store front, decked out with hipster and funky decor, making it the perfect late night pit stop, or an affordable takeaway for those in this area of Melbourne. Homely food that satisfies your guilty cravings is the way I would sum up Crave!
Loved this place ! The pizza was so good ♥️
This restaurant is probably one of the best if not the best pizza restaurant around. We tried the fettucine pesto and the fettucine carbonara. Very delicious, no words needed.
Very satisfied with everything! Would definitely come back. Their pizza and pasta were amazing!!! The owner was very kind and their service was amazing.
Came to know this place through Zomato Gold. Really glad we did. The Gnocchi Carbonara and Fettuccini Pesto was really delicious. From the moment we comes in the staff was really friendly and welcoming. What a nice little gem of a restaurant tucked away like a hidden treasure that will reward people who found it. Will definitely be back again.
Fantastic service, beautiful food, all made in store, fresh ingredients!!! Highly recommend, will definitely visit again, wish we were locals!!
The staffs are really friendly!
Nice pizza~
We decided to visit this cozy petite Italian fast food place on a Tuesday night. It was a delite for a not a pizza person like me to be blown away with the quality of food. This joint has minimal seating but the ambience is quite a sight to not get bored, the mural, constant deliveries, watching the friendly staff prepare the food from the scratch believe me they freshly chop veggies for every order. We ordered for a La Verdura and Chicken Pesto the base was perfect not too thick not too thin neither too soggy. Topped with fresh sauce & topping. Chicken strips were perfect. The pizza was over all delicious !!! I am surely visiting again to try their recommended Gnocchi. Ron was wonderful with his hospitality!!!
Words can't describe what an amazing experience this was. The place is quite cozy with limited seating but that only adds to the appeal. Pasta was quite possibly the best I have ever had and the portion was super generous. The pizza was also very tasty and a generous size. Finally the owner was super friendly and offered us some complementary garlic bread. With zomato gold I felt like I the total price of $17 was an absolute robbery! Would gladly return paying full price and more.

This little joint has blown our mind with the quality of the food. The owner clearly has a passion in what he does and puts a lot of love into creating the amazing dishes.
We had the pesto gnocchi and wow, the sauce was just divine. We wiped the plate clean with the perfectly made garlic bread. Next we had pepperoni pizza and ceasar salad. The homemade sausages left us wanting for more. Even the salad was really good!
Yum yum yum. We have our local fave of pizza and thought why not branch out and try somewhere new that’s also close?
Winner with Crave! The BBQ Chicken pizza was outstanding. Chicken breast strips and loads of sauce.
We ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and I was expecting actual buffalo sauce (like you get on wings) as it said it came with blue cheese drizzle which we didn’t get but an aioli instead. But I’m saying that whatever we did get was great and it was so tasty - even the next day reheated for lunch.
They have terrific value pizzas and those jam
Donuts..... the kids (and partner) were in love with those... like the ones I used to get from the bakery some 30 years ago!
I always judge a pizza shop on their margarita. If you can do that right, you can do anything right. They do it right. And god damn, get the garlic bread. The best I’ve ever had.
As the mural inside the store says 'life is too short for bad $5 pizza'.
The top end of Chapel Street is craving for affordable tasty takeaway pizza. Pun intended. Located next to one of my favourite fried chicken places, but off Chapel Street, You wouldn't stumble across this if you weren't a local, so its definitely geared towards the locals.
I got to try a few menu items with a friend who was invited by the owner. Like Macaulay Culkin, I am partial to cheese pizza, so I had to try the quarto formaggi, which was quite spectacular. Unfortunately my friend doesn't like blue cheese so it was trio formaggi, so I bet it would have tasted even better so that is what I'll do next time.
The pasta was creamy and flavourful, and the antipasto platter was hearty and delicious. Staff are extremely friendly, there is minimal seating but the murals are quite a sight if you have time to sit down and wait.
Once you have this, you'll crave more.
Finally someone that does pizza the way it tasted 20 years ago! And the Best vegan pizza I’ve had and looking forward to the secret vegan menu!..
Delicious pizza, but not really a dine-in restaurant.
Located next to Leonard's House of Love, off Chapel St in South Yarra, Crave boasts a delicious and extensive pizza menu with a few additional extras such as a grazing platter and garlic bread. The staff are lovely and full of energy and make sure that you get your food ASAP. There was a constant stream of deliveries being taken out by drivers during my visit, so it must be popular on ordering apps!
We ordered the grazing platter, garlic bread and 4-cheese pizza. All were outstanding. The grazing platter had a fantastic selection of things to nibble on and didn't leave us too full for the rest of our food. The garlic bread was made on open Turkish bread, which is my favourite and had heaps of garlic - luckily I wasn't there on a date haha
The 4-cheese pizza was delicious. It was salty, not too soggy and the base was nice and fluffy. I wish I'd ordered a second one to take home with me.
Crave has some stiff competition around it, but I can guarantee a good feed if you decide to visit - even if it's a cheeky take-away after a night out :)
I’m always CRAVING for Crave Pizza and Pasta including their antipasto platter cos they were all seriously AH-MAZING! Love it when a place nails everything on the menu in both taste and presentation ☺️ The people here are so friendly and we all felt so welcomed as soon as we stepped in, so shout out to the team for being so awesome! ❤️ The pizza and calzone was so good! We got to chill upstairs as well where it was nice and cosy. Thanks for the amazing hospitality guys

We dined in at Crave Pizza and Pasta on a busy Friday night. This cozy restaurant just off chapel street has an extensive menu to choose from. We enjoyed the fragrant aromas as the take away dishes flew out the door and it was amazing to watch the frantic pace at which Uber eats dishes got assembled and distributed. Whist checking out the menu we chowed down on some mighty home made garlic bread, crunchy on the outside, soft, buttery, herby and full of flavour on the inside, delicious.
Tonight we started this evening with an antipasto platter, the highlight being the Boconchini rolled in pesto, (very clever, great flavour) the chorizo was also a hit with a nice afterburn.
We also shared the sensational home made gnocchi but opted for a Napoli sauce (not the usual creamy bacon). The Napoli was superb, rich and peppery, the fresh basil delightful and it paired perfectly with these light pillows of goodness. I really loved the feel of these gnocchi a great texture with substance, not over cooked, not mushy.
Tonight’s pizzas where highly enjoyable, my margarita had an awesome thin bubbly base, and not too much cheese. I of course added anchovies and thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful especially the fresh basil leaves.
We also ordered the pesto chicken pizza and I finally had the revelation of why people put chicken on pizza. This pizza was an absolute explosion of flavour. I cant decide if the secret weapon is the house-made pesto or the aioli drizzle. Those two flavors when combined with the chicken make this pizza next level.
For dessert we just had to try the piping jam donuts drizzled in Nutella. The choc berry flavours were a delightful combo and delicious with this light & fluffy dough. A perfect way to end the night.
We would like to thank Ron and the team for their passion/ banter and the invitation to try out their menu. We can clearly see why all the locals are regulars here.
We came to Crave Pizza the other night and boy were we blown away by the quality of food and passion the owner has for his cuisine and restaurant.
We started off the night with the antipasto board, this was so simple yet so fresh, one of the best platters I’ve had this year. The love put into this dish was definitely there, I would return just for this platter alone.
We then moved on to garlic bread, margherita pizza, calzone, chicken pesto pasta and spaghetti ragu Bolognese. The garlic bread was home made and very garlicy (just how it should be) , loved breaking this open and watching the steam come out. The margherita pizza and calzone were also incredible, the dough was as perfect as can be , still holding its shape when the pizza went cold with a generous amount of toppings that balanced perfectly with one another.
The pastas were also fresh and home made which is something that I think is expected of a good Italian restaurant these days The beautiful pesto sauce on the fettucine was by far by favourite. The spaghetti Bolognese was also something different, the ragu was rich and full of flavour whilst the spaghetti being homemade had a different shape to what I was use to, extremely pleasurable to eat.
Thanks so much for having us!
The best house-made pizza and pasta I've had in a very long time!
Conveniently located near the Jam Factory off Chapel Street, Crave is a small, super-friendly pizza and pasta joint that does everything so well.
We ordered the traditional spag bol, margherita pizza, calzoni, chicken pesto fettuccine, garlic bread and antipasto platter. Everything was on point and would definitely be back!!
If you are looking for a relaxed place to grab some home style pizza and pasta this is your place. Its not on main Street Chapel Street but its off it but if you find it you are in for a treat. Its only small but its intimate and you can have a chat with the owner! The pasta tasted so fresh and home made and the pizza had a good base and generous portions. The anti pasto platter a must try
Crave Pizza & Fresh Pasta Bar is located on Wilson Street in South Yarra. Just off Chapel Street it’s a tiny place but the owners make up for that in enthusiasm. They seem to know all the locals by name & it’s such a warm & friendly place. While there’s not a lot of seating, they do a huge take away & delivery trade as well as plenty of local customers popping in for a chat, drink & food.
We started with some of the most incredible antipasto platters, the attention to detail was impressive. Delicious olives, fresh tomatoes tossed in housemade pesto, bocconcini, meats, chorizo & roasted peppers with house made garlic focaccia bread on the side. These platters were devoured in record time & some of the best antipasto I’ve tried.
The pasta is all made in house, the owners Italian heritage shining through. The spaghetti bolognese was divine, rich & well flavoured, just the way I like it. The chicken pesto fettuccini was also stunning, a lovely rich pesto sauce, perfectly cooked fettuccini with a generous serve of chicken & pops of sun dried tomato.
We tried the margarita pizza which was the perfect choice as it highlighted the quality ingredients. The pizza base was light & crisp & we loved this classic Italian pizza. We also tried the calzone which was also impressive, filled with ham, salami, mozzarella, roasted capsicum & garlic. I’m a big fan of a salad to go with my meal & the greek salad was a winner for me & added freshness as well as a huge chunk of feta.
Crave has only been under new management for a few months but it’s definitely creating a buzz & many happy customers in the area. Their fast & friendly service is popular with the locals & the quality of the food speaks for itself. If you appreciate good Italian food, I’d highly recommend checking it out. Thanks so much for having us.
We were invited to Crave yesterday, a tiny pizza and pasta space just off chapel st. What they lack in size they certainly make up for in warm hospitality, the owner seemed to know the entire passing street by name which was impressive considering they’ve been open less than four months.
We kicked off with some antipasto with my dining companion raving about the chorizo. As I’d been somewhat carb deprived this week I was personally loving the garlic bread. They make the bread fresh and the heavenly aroma of that buttery garlic toasting is right up there with the world’s greatest scents.
We were advised to try some gnocchi which again is made in house and had a perfectly light texture. We had this with the delicious pesto sauce. A pesto chicken pizza was also recommended but we were cautioned it might be pesto overload. I assumed the pesto would be dotted on the pizza but it was actually a pesto base so we did essentially overdose on pesto which can be a rich flavour to begin with.
The cherry tomatoes in the pizza brought some acidity to break this up and I’d definitely recommend trying one or the other pesto wise. It is also well worth trying both a pizza and a pasta as both are very well executed. It’s obvious the kitchen knows what they are doing.
We also had the chance to try some spanakopita which was a yummy dish reflecting the owners heritage and got me all excited for my upcoming trip to Greece. We finished our night with some good old fashioned jam donuts with a twist, they were topped with Nutella. What an ingenious idea!
Simply amazing! They use fresh and homemade ingredients making the pizza one of the best I had in my life. The staff is also very friendly and polite...it’s a must go/order in South Yarra!
There is always something special about a restaurant that has an owner that such passion for what he does. We loved our visit to this amazing Italian restaurant that is an intimate dining venue that really allows for you to have a more unique and involved dining experience. We loved the food, the antipasto was amazing, full of flavour and delicious starters. The gnocchi was probably my favourite. Good gnocchi lathered in sauce is what I love! Highly recommend visiting this place which is just off Chapel street!

This new hole in the wall restaurant is a MUST DO in South Yarra! Serving up amazing authentic pasta and pizza – all made by hand with quality ingredients and lots of love. They also have a selection of mains, salads and desserts which all sound really good. They also have a vegan special and the staff bend over backwards to look after their customers.
We had the gnocchi bolognaise, the haloumi burger with thick cut fries and the chicken pesto pizza.
The burger was amazing, thick and juicy and full of flavour. Hubby could barely even tell it didn’t contain meat. The gnocci was fresh and cooked perfectly with a delicious meaty sauce and crunchy, home made garlic bread.
The pizza had perfect hand made dough and lots of fresh ingredients – they don’t scrimp on the toppings, and the pesto and aioli are made in house.
They are very small inside and have total seating for about 12 people but everything is available for takeaway and they also deliver, either direct from their website or through the major delivery apps.
This is totally our new go-to for pizza!
Amazing pizza, amazing pasta, amazing people. They go above and beyond to accommodate my gluten free needs. Incredible hospitality! Definitely recommend.
Got delivery from here and was amazed. Was super full but didn’t want to stop eating.
Got the prosciutto pizza that was delicious, so much flavour from the toppings, and not too soggy on the bottom like some woodfired pizzas.
The garlic bread was different to what you normally get and was delicious. The carbonara pasta was hands down my favourite dish asked for fettuccine instead, it was was silky and well cooked.
Value for money wasn’t too bad bit pricy but worth it.
Going to eat in next time so can experience the good fresh out of the kitchen.
Crave Pizza and Fresh Pasta Bar, recently under new management, is winning South Yarra over one smile and one great pizza at a time. Dine in, take away or order...
After what can only labelled as a shocking experience with Uber eats, waiting 35min and then when the driver being 4min away then the delivery being labeled “cancelled due to damage”- ridiculous.... perhaps the Uber delivery man liked the look and smell so much he ate it himself! Based on the reviews my girlfriend and I persisted to call and order direct! The delivery service is free if ordering directly, and the service and food is even better in real life than the imagery. A lovely family putting TLC in their product!! The garlic bread was fantastic! The pesto chicken with sun dried tomatoes pasta was like back in Naples, and the pizza (with porchutto, feta, basil and oregano) was sublime! Screw Uber but certainly not Crave, after this meal it’s our new local pizza/pasta joint for sure! Highly recommended!!! 5 stars!
Excellent, was here about 1 week ago and was extremely happy with the freshness and the taste of the food. Pasta was fresh and authentic and the service was outstanding. Look forward in going again. Thanks crave
What a find, CRAVE, (Under New Management), tucked away!!..the vibe is amazing..The food, what I can say..BLOWN AWAY....Good to see home made cooking @ it's best...You have to try, the experience for yourself..Highly recommend.
Having a big day at the races all I wanted was something fattening but then I wanted Something healthy, Couldn’t decide!!The group we were with ended up at a bar on chapel but I casually strolled with my partner to find a bit of food. Well we stumbled across this amazing place and I can’t believe its only new to the area. I am so happy to find it and I can’t believe how fresh it all was. The staff, so friendly and so accommodating. Aguri as you say in Italian and I can’t wait to come back and have some more of nonnas home made pasta. What a gem I accidentally found in the heart of South Yarra ❤
Great value, excellent flavour and not overpriced like a lot of pizzas in the area. Friendly people. Highly recommend. Well done to the new management.
I ordered delivery and it came in less than 30 minutes ! the pizzas are super delicious ! i tried the pesto chicken and aussie pizza. Would definitely recommend !!!
Crave is under new management, and they have gone above and beyond with reaching out to disappointed customers from the previous ownership. The new owners are totally different and lovely. Give this place a shot! They care!
These guys are genuinely amazing. The owner is extremely friendly and cares about his customers and food. I will be ordering from these guys regularly as my main pizza place. I had such a bad experience with the previous owners and these new guys made everything right and reached out to me. You will not have a bad experience here I assure you. I cannon recommend enough. 10/10. Give these guys a shot!!
This place is under new management, old reviews are not fair to these new guys. The new management is real and boy have they done a mega job turning the quality around. Yesterday I was visiting a friend in the area and just happened to make eye contact with the lad making pizza inside who waved at me as I got out of the cab. Remembering my last experience something just told me to go in and speak to him. He informed me he is part of new management and offered me a free pizza to try the new menu, he kept apologising to me which shows this guy really cares. This pizza looked so good and the aroma from it and the surrounding ingredients rocked my socks. He explained mostly everything is new, and boy does it show, these guys know their stuff. He and the rest of the staff were courteous and on the ball, good command structure was on show and lots of positive energy, this just resonated with me. Next time I am trying the pesto chicken pizza, he made one while I was there and the smell that wofted was amazing, can still smell it. Guys awesome job, keep it up, the turn around you guys have achieved less than a week under a new banner is a great achievement. Your hard work shows and for me it has paid off, I wish I could give you 11 out of 10. You have won me back, definitely give them another go people they deserve it.
New ownership! Off the bat, the service was amazing, considering we rocked up after 10pm to “dine in”. Wasn’t expecting service considering it’s more of a takeway joint. But the people was lovely.
Food was even better. The creamy pesto was so hearty, especially paired with pasta over fettuccini. The pizza base was perfect, not too thick or thin. And the toppings were well distributed. Didn’t have a bloaty sick feeling after such a big supper — which often happens to me after eating italian for dinner. The serve was also massive for such an affordable price.
Would so recommend and defs would go back!

Hi all, we are the new owners of crave pizza.
We have renovated, re branded and renovated opened so we look forward in seeing everyone.
Home made pasta and home made and hand stretched pizza.
Come visit us for an amazing experience
Is this place under new ownership? I was recommended the food here by a friend, I must admit the review from a few months ago did scare me BUT WOW!!! Was I impressed!! I ordered fettuccine carbonara, chicken parmigiana, garlic bread and a salad, OMG that pasta!! Just divine!!! My very fussy eater partner ate the chicken and some of my pasta aswell!!
Just amazing
Definitely coming back
Ordered a pasta carbonara with garlic bread and it was one of the best pastas ive had. Excellent and fresh. Delivery was quick as well and very polite.
Amazing pizza and pasta was home made!
Tasted real and never had it like that before,
You got me addicted now to having it.
Al ingredients were fresh as I could see them making it as we sat there. Really funky place and cool music as well.
You will defiantly see us again.
OMG we just got a late night vegan pizza and it was amazing, such delicious toppings and also generous amounts of vegan cheese!
I wish we found this place sooner because it’s so delicious and fresh tasting.
Totally recommend.
Hidden gems are called so coz they're not easily visible but they're invaluable! Let's call this cute lil pizza joint a Hidden gem!
Situated at Wilson Street, right off the Chapel Street in South Yarra, This is a neighbourhood pizza fix for me.
Not only the proximity that i'm happy about, this place ticks all boxes... that said, let's get to the business :)
Food: Fresh Pizzas with Fresh ingredients made by people who I've always seen always smiling and they make the pizza IN FRONT OF YOU! what more could I ask for, taste it to believe it
Ambience - this is a small place and best seats are few high chairs facing the window (no there's no bar). A small party could easily enjoy hot pizzas sitting there, but if you have some maniac friends like the ones I do, you're better off ordering in or take away! I prefer picking it up in person given the close proximity, but if you need to order in, I suggest you do it over their website instead of delivery aggregators like uber or menulog etc... It's just easier to use their website.
All said, most importantly, they really treat patrons with respect and that's what takes the cake...
In nutshell, go to Crave pizza and eat that delicious thing!
Crave is our go to take away pizza spot. Their pizzas are fresh, hot and super tasty. Lots of options to choose from (not just pizza). Our top 2 pizzas are the tropical and Mexicana. A little bit of sweet and spicy! Big thumbs up 👍
I ordered 3 pizzas and a good bread.
My first pizza was a vegetarian pizza which was awesome. It was cheesy, well cooked and the base wasn't heavy.
My second pizza was a vegan pizza which was very good but the cheese wasn't melted and it was messy to eat.
The third pizza was a BBQ Chicken which was fantastic, it had thick slices of chicken, and a great BBQ flavour.
The garlic bread was really good too, with a crispy roll and no grease.
Overall this place is definitely worth a visit.

Huge craving for four cheese pizza satisfied by this hole in the wall restaurant. Pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was, nice thin crust, nice mix of cheese and just enough dried herbs to give it a pop.
Yum. Give it a go, you really can’t go wrong with a large quattro formaggi for $14!
Very friendly place, staff are nice. Small place but looks can be deceiving as they do a good pizza. I would recommend giving these guys a chance to impress you.

New management have resurrected this shop from the dead, cannot believe the turnaround these new guys have pulled off in a short time, seriously well done. A little back story, my friends and I ordered take away pizza's from here a little while ago as per being recommended by a group member who eaten here many moons ago. The people were great, but I'm sorry to say the pizza's weren't great. Luckily being surrounded by food we found elsewhere to go and didn't think much of it. Yesterday visiting a friend in a neighbouring street the taxi stopped outside crave, rest of the street was full of vehicles. As I got out I saw inside the shop and out of nowhere I get a wave, thinking immediately of last time I went inside and to have a quick chat with the chap. Wow, walking in the smell of the ingredients and 2 pizzas being cooked was fresh and tasty. Upon telling him of my previous experience the chap then tells me that he is part of the new management and that things have changed, which I could see. He offered me a pizza free of charge which I accepted, didn't have anything to lose right? Watching these guys operate, yeah things were different, the aroma of the ingredients, the command structure and flow of things had energy and confidence. When that pizza pie started to go through the oven Wow now that is how good food should smell. Painfully waiting for it to cook, he explains pretty much everything changed from ingredients to recipes and they have been operating for less than a week under the new flag. Finally pizza comes out, into the box, looks awesome and smells better, still waiting the final 2% of art work gets applied. After watching this thing get made and seeing how good it looked I said to them I feel bad eating it. Knife and fork are supplied, nup all hands, yeah these guys know their shizzle honestly from not great to f%#@ great, I wasn't sure who was happier me or them. I don't normally go full wall of text review but the transformation I experienced with this establishment still amazes me, I offered to pay in the end as it was well worth it. I will be back, the pesto chicken will be my next choice, I can still smell that pesto. Truly a resurrection, and to think this exchange all started by a simple wave and became a rave about crave. 👍
