Great food, atmosphere and service.
Had the beef caldereta and okoy. Authentic Filipino food with quality ingredients. Chef Rey hails from The Peninsula Manila and had worked on many 5 star hotels since. Best in the area.
My friends and I ate dinner here on Tuesday night and we loved it! We shared spring rolls then two of us had the lechon (which was so amazingly crispy), one had the duck and one had the vegetarian pancit. The service was excellent and our waitress was so lovely. I would have given it a 5 but I didn't get to try dessert! Next time, because I'll definitely be back. Thank you!
Great experience. Reynaldo the chef was very polite and engaging. The service was very Royal and the food “Mamma Mia”. Of the very few Filipino joints in the city Reynaldo’s is the one to definitely try. With heaps of authentic Filipino options to choose from.
What a delightful place! The owners were so friendly and accommodating. The food was really nice. I have travelled to the philippines many times and the food was authentic and well priced. We will definitely be coming back with our friends. Thank you for a great experience!!!!
This is truly authentic Filipino food at its best! Chef Reynaldo and his amazing wife Doris make you feel like you have entered into a Filipino home with their friendly warm welcoming way!! Head Chef Reynaldo should be selling these dishes at 5-star prices because he dishes out flavors that will tingle your pallet!! And of course for me I wash them down with the San Miguel Fresca which takes you to the Philippines!!
We will be regulars from now on. What a great discovery!
Reynaldo’s is excellent! Lovely, friendly, and happy staff. Their traditional Filipino food is delicious. Great place for group bookings. Will definitely be back again.
I've really enjoyed my visits at Reynaldos! They're aren't many filo places around and this one really makes me feel like I'm back in the Philippines. They also have a great mix of filo and western food, I haven't had a dish that wasn't delicious. To top it off everyone is so friendly 😊
Best parma i have ever had seriously. Would definitely recommend anyone who would wanna taste real parma go there, they are amazing. Coming back soon for some parma.
I have been here a few times for some Filipino food. My favourites have been the pork sisig, the kaldereta, and the leche flan. They're authentic dishes packed with flavour. The service staff are always very friendly and attentive.
Such beautiful service and DELICIOUS food. So well priced and comfortable. We walked all around NM looking for the right vibe, this was it. Our new favourite.
I went there tonight with a craving for pasta and I was absolutely amazed by the quality of their spaghetti - and it was only $10. I tell you now I ate a pasta from other places that cost up to 5 times as much and it wasn't even half as good as Reynaldos. The service was amazing, the people were so lovely and warm. It was a very nice experience for a very tired and hungry pregnant lady!!
We had dinner and desert here with some friends last night and we absolutely loved this place!!!! The food was so delicious and the staff were friendly and efficient. For some great Filipino food don’t hesitate.
The best streak sandwich I've ever had in my short life dare you to try it😊😊 great friendly service and value for $$$ I'm be back in January 2018
The best offerings were the sisig (diced pork meat in a sizzling plate), kilawin (ceviche), and the halo-halo (taro, sweet coconut, fruits and beans in shaved ice). The palabok (rice noodles in a seafood-based sauce) sauce needs some tweaking, in my opinion, to resemble the traditional Filipino version of the dish. Otherwise, would definitely go back and recommend the store to friends and family. Its location being near the CBD is definitely a plus.
Food was really delicious! Missed good Filipino food while I was here in Melbourne. Bulalo was perfect for the cold weather. And the Tilapia was a good serving as well!
Found this place through google and wasn't disappointed at all. Very nice ambiance and Filipino dishes to die for! Will be back in the future thats for sure!👌
Great food! The bulalo and caldereta tasted great. The owner's were very friendly and accomodating. The place is large, beautiful, and cozy.
Amazing food and ambiance. Will definitely come back. Sisig and palabok great flavours. Hot calamansi tea very refreshing and great for a cold winter day.
Very good food, lovely waiters and overall was one of the best places in Melbourne! What a hidden gem. Definitely recommend. They cater for people with allergies which is even better!! Thanks Reynaldo
What a great find! The staff were so friendly and the food was amazing! Definitely go back there!
Please try this place...it's a little gem! :)

I haven't been here for two years well I came in today the food was perfect, service great and the staff were friendly and took care to talk to me snd give me advice what the choices are and what goes well as well portions of the food are fantastic as well I will recommend this restaurant to anyone and try a different type of cucine im coming back and will be bringing my family here to eat.
Wonderful airy ambience with traditional Filipino décor and friendly and courteous staff. Our entrees, consisting of double servings of Pinoy Pork Skewers and Ukoy, were delicious and simply served on crisp white plates, the flavour reminding me of what I miss so much about the Philippines. They were also quite reasonably priced. We then feasted on generously proportioned mains accompanied by rice: the Crispy Pata, cooked succulently with little residual oil (I've certainly tasted very oily versions in other Filo restaurants) and their American Beef Ribs, a flavoursome Anglo based dish which my Aussie partner certainly appreciated! Their desserts were commendable, with the Turon, Halo Halo and Mango Gelato ice creams rounding off our wonderful Sunday lunch. All in all an enjoyable culinary experience for my family. Highly recommended!
Had a great night for my stepdaughter Patricias birthday, have been twice and found the food delicious. The staff are very friendly and the waitress is quite cute :). Food was served within approximately 30 minutes and there was a few people there tonight. I would go again with no hesitation.
Good service, authentic flavours and clean environment. The food were nicely presented and it came out promptly.
Dishes ranges from $10-$25
We were at Reynaldo's on Friday night with a group celebrating a special occasion. Our experience was very positive. The food was great - authentic Filipino dishes, the portions were very generous and very well priced. The waiting staff that look after us were very pleasant and attentive, considering the rowdiness that goes along with servicing a big group who wants to just chat and chat with one another. The food came out at just about the right time, no long wait at all. Overall, it was an enjoyable celebration coupled with sumptuous food and pleasant service.
The seafood gumbo was amazing - I can think of no soup I'd prefer from any Melbourne restaurant. All dishes were reasonably priced considering the portion size...let alone the quality. I'll be back!
Finally good to see a full service Filipino cuisine with western fusion restaurant in the city of Melbourne! There are plenty of Filipino restaurants in town but you need to order and pay first before enjoying your meal. Now in the heart of North Melbourne we have a fine specimen of Filipino cuisine that is mated to great and friendly service and a very nice relaxed ambience. Was only able to try a few of the starters as we were full. The food was okay and tasty. We ordered the Pop chicken and lumpia (spring rolls). Had a hot chocolate as well and it was creamy and very velvety. Our friends ordered mains and I wish we were hungry enough to have ordered the same. Quite impressed and hope to be back again soon.
I was taken to this restaurant by a Pilipino friend who was delighted to finally find a Pilipino restaurant - the food was great and met her high expectations! Can't fault it good food, friendly service and the taro cake desert bright purple in colour is worth going back for alone! We ate too much and the cost was $30pp.
The food is quite expensive for what I am getting. Taste wise, I still like GJ's better. However, adobo sa Gata brought me back to my hometown and the ambience was so much better than other Filo restaurants around.
A new Filipino restaurants hits Melbourne – Reynaldo’s Grill and Sizzles. Together with GJ’s Grill these two would have to be my favorite Melbourne Filipino restaurants so far!. Can you tell my mum is excited about the kare kare? :). We ordered:– BBQ pork skewers. – Kare Kare – beef, tripe and ox tail in a creamy peanut sauce served with bagoong (shrimp paste) and beans and greens (a nice, generous serving!)
Our second visit to the restaurant, it’s a while ago since my last visit blurry memory of how’s food and service. It’s a quiet Sunday, we were their first customers in the evening, very friendly service, spacious restaurant make you feel very comfortable. Filipino food taste interesting we ordered a squid dish, chicken dish and a stir fry noodles. Had a good meal will definitely return!
Looooooved the Filipino food here! The pork crackling was sooooo amazing! So crunchy! And the pork meat was tender. The pork sisig was super tasty too. Combined with garlic rice - perfect.
Sunday midday and eating filipino dishes. I must say this has been the most relaxing day. Made me missed the Philippines so bad. 😁. Amazing and scrumptious food, good music, relaxing place, and very welcoming staff. Well done Chef Rey and wifey. 👌. This place is a must try!
We just came back from vacation from the Philippines and were craving for that food and decided to try this restaurant.
Sinigang and sisig are as tasty as on islands. Thanks to chef for this little piece of warm islands in this cold Melbourne's winter.
Great Filipino food, great tasting and big portions for price, staff was very friendly and dining experience was 10/10.
I love Reynaldos! They have a great mix between Filo and Western food and I haven't had a dish that I didn't like. Plus, everyone is so friendly!
Yum yum. First time trying out filipino cuisine... 👍
