Wandering through the amazing Queen Victoria Markets picking up lots of fresh fruit and veg before stumbling upon the Italian @CafeVerona.QVM where I picked up Sicilian Donuts and Ricotta Cheesecake. Self service place in the market. Sicilian doughnuts were devine with fruit peel and dried fruits, coffee was also good. Worth a stop
A lovely place and staff. We tried some hot chockie and their banatella waffle. Such a perfect combo for a chilly morning. The waffle could’ve been toasted a bit longer to make it crispier and gone with some ice cream instead of whipped cream to justify the $14 price.
I should have read reviews before ordering! Asked for an iced latte. Looked ok until I took a sip and found it was all ice with minimal milk. A total rip off! I wondered why the service was so surly - I guess that in order to feel good about gouging you need to despise your customers. At least they
Came in just as they were opening at 730. Staff were friendly (the gentleman serving us had an exceptionally calming demeanor). Ordered a chai latte, espresso, breakfast tart, and mini pancakes with berries and ice cream. Everything was amazing! Chai wasn’t overly sweet (which was lovely), the tart
Staff were rude and didn't even want to serve... No customer service. We ordered two take away coffees and were given them in a cup, we had to waste time to sit down and drink them. Also ordered a pizza from them and ended up having the pizza slammed down on the bench.
They have a coffee machine and a barista, however my iced long black was made with just coffee syrup instead. The price of it was more expensive than Soul Origin that do authentic iced long blacks for just $5.
Coffee syrup means the taste was awful too.
