Wandering through the amazing Queen Victoria Markets picking up lots of fresh fruit and veg before stumbling upon the Italian @CafeVerona.QVM where I picked up Sicilian Donuts and Ricotta Cheesecake. The donuts are soft and pillowey, a slight crunch, dusted with enough sugar without being too sweet, the dough has a lovely lemon flavour which elevates these donuts to next level. As for the baked cheesecake, wow, so yum. The ricotta adds a different dimension to cream cheese, it's lighter, slightly cakey and just so delicious. @VicMarket #Italianfood #cafe #donuts #Siciliandonuts #bakedcheesecake #cheesecake #ricotta #dessert #sweettooth #foodcoma #foodie #melbournefood @zomatomelb

Stopped by for a coffee. Quick service and we were very happy with our flat white. Will try their pancakes and milkshakes next time.

Self service place in the market. Sicilian doughnuts were devine with fruit peel and dried fruits, coffee was also good. Worth a stop

Came in just as they were opening at 730. Staff were friendly (the gentleman serving us had an exceptionally calming demeanor). Ordered a chai latte, espresso, breakfast tart, and mini pancakes with berries and ice cream. Everything was amazing! Chai wasn’t overly sweet (which was lovely), the tart was crispy and warm (think croissant style bread) and the filling was just the right ratio (spinach, tomato, mushroom, egg), the pancakes were a little sweet bc of the ice cream but the tart berries balanced them out perfectly. Highly recommend and will crave this for a long time!
