Very affordable for a lunch cafe in the city. Staff are friendly. The pasta was nice, could've been better if less sweet. Only $6.8. Lunch menu changes quite frequently too. Highly Recommended

Wow! My family and I stayed next door, Oaks Apartments, thought we would try this coffee shop. Service, first class, some of the best I have experienced, coffee and food, awesome, cleanliness, the best you will find. Loved the decor and style as well. What a great random surprise this place was. Needless to say we went back each day during our stay. Highly recommend.

I see this little cafe everyday on the bus but never visited. Just last weekend, I was taking my boys to the museum and was glad to see the shop open and we enjoyed some nice breakfast before walking over to the museum. The owners were quite friendly and the price was very reasonable. Definitely will come back again.

I have my morning coffee here every day. The staff are super friendly and the place is spotlessly clean. The food always looks fresh and wholesome. Would definately recommend popping in for a coffee if you are on the area.

Rude service. went in to order a coffee with a friend and ended up leaving with nothing. I would strongly recommend going elsewhere. I should have listened to my coworkers they told me the coffee was not great. They never mentioned the service. The place is usually empty, not surprising at all. Instead we might go to Gozleme, Kenny's, Supergrind, Madames kitchen etc...not hard to find a quality coffee in Melbourne really....

An everyday aussie style cafe managed by a lovely couple. The food variety is good and the coffee is okay. The shop is usually not too crowded so it would be a good place to sit down with a cup of coffee and read the morning papers.
Split The Bill
This is the cafe where the owner knows your coffee order. I come here for a coffee as well as a muffin when I have my lazy mornings and I don't organise breakfast at home. The customer service is great and the staff are always very friendly too. <br/>

A fairly downmarket type cafe on Lonsdale St, with basic table settings, and plain and uninspiring decor. Some low volume jazz in the background almost rescued the lack of ambience. There are no menus as such - you order from the menu boards above the counter - and very little vegetarian fare, though they were gracious enough to create a bespoke veggie breakfast. The coffee was okay albeit a little weak, a probable consequence of serving a single shot in a large milky mug. The breakfast was quite okay, and inexpensive, and the service was prompt and friendly.
