Zam Zam Restaurant - Melbourne - Photo album

Rice was perfectly cooked. Food tasted good. Hainanese chicken tasted good too. Chicken portion were small compared to the menu’s picture. Not a fan of chicken soup it came with. But overall was okay. My all time fave is Roti, very soft but crispy too perfect with sambal. We ordered Milo for drink.
Menu is surprisingly more varied than the Highpoint branch. Service was pretty efficient and food was delicious, good portion as well. I would consider coming back more often.
I did order chicken rice, chicken satay, prawn dumpling and roti. Everything were nice except the prawn dumpling as they use a frozen one which is quite make me disappointed. Roti was very good with a strong butter aroma.
PappaRich offered casual Malaysian/Indian-influenced meals at reasonable prices. The food quality had been relatively consistent over the years and so was the efficient quick service. My favourite was the hainanese chicken rice paired with congee.

Particularly the rice itself managed to be overcooked but there were several grains that were still hard. The soup that accompanied the chicken rice was okay. I recomm
We went there few times and the food always good but for the price we expect little bit better with the service also plastic cup, no water bottle is a minus.
Well if you don’t have Malaysian taste you need to develop your taste buds first. Good service, good food loved it.
