Food was great. Service could be a bit better I guess.
A cute cafe. The waiter is friendly and we use zomato gold. The food though were salty. We ordered the pull pork benedict and pork cubano. Both of them tasted too saltyl for us. I like the pulled pork as it's crunchy and the potato rosti tasted fresh fresh.
Just ordered a piccolo and toasted cheese and ham sandwich. Was delicious and service was very friendly. We would definitely be back - a real community feel inside.

I have been to a few Cafe's and Restaurants since last year but i lost so much time and a bit of interest but i feel this weekend has changed a few things. We invited Tess from Tesspresso to go to the zoo with us and she invited us to go to a Cafe. There are 3 things i believe that can make a Cafe' good or great.

The large comfy venue is big enough to accommodate for many, with owners who have hearts to match! Staff actually appear to enjoy being here, and couldnt make you feel more comfortable. Coffee is on point, and true to the traditional espresso style appreciated in the area.
Food wise, the menu is through, and caters for everyone. Panko Eggs came in as a favourite on my previous visit, and the Smashed Falafal salad is perfect if you're vegan.
Incredible food!! The stacked avocado is perfection! Always perfectly ripe avocado and the presentation is beautiful! Delicious coffee. Love coming here
Amazing Service, Friendly Staff. Can't go wrong with 23 Cafe! Come here most days of the week and love it! I have a Vanilla Chai Latte and a Muffin, highly recommend

I love 23! The service is always extremely friendly and personable, and the menu is fantastic and well priced. One thing I particularly like is that you can order a half serve of the big breakfast which is great for those who can't eat as much, that said its a very generous half serve! Coffee is also fab, and always comes with a chocolate, a lovely touch!
My boyfriend and I frequent here often. Good prices for good food and nice atmosphere. Falafel wrap could have been better but it tasted like falafel, needed more sauce however. My boyfriend liked his egg and bacon toasted sandwich. And the wedges are delicious!
Very nice restaurant / bar with a great menu. We came for lunch and had the open falafel and the open club sandwich, both of which are highly recommended!
I love this place. I go every weekend, and now, since writing, during the week also. It's a big building with plenty of seating, although it can get packed on weekends. It's nicely decorate, and has the warm cosy feeling a cafe should. It has a great family atmosphere. One thing that really stood out was that everyone knows each other, and everyone is incredibly friendly. It's like being apart of a family.
The food is delicious, with great vegetarian options, all of which are presented creatively, exciting the senses. I would kill for the hollandaise sauce - a personal favourite of mine.
And, last, but certainly not least. It's good coffee, and they stock plenty of different types of milk for the lactose challenged, and the smoothies are amazing. I'd love to see more latte art, but that's the barista in me.
All, in all, I'm a regular, and I will be staying one.

New cafe taken over from Yarra blue, the change of hands has been such a great move, so much more open and inviting. New menu is spot on!!!!

Wonderful cafe! Very friendly staff who always take care of my parents who are regulars. Great variety on the menu, I have a soft spot for their delicious brownies, which I can’t wait to enjoy again once lockdown ends!
Attended on my way through to Ringwood. Not only great coffee, but extremely attentive staff, that know their customers by name, their order, and all with a smile.. great looking atmosphere, keen to check it out when we're allowed to sit in.

Great atmosphere and friendly, very efficient service. Welcomed the aircon on a hot morning. Coffee is good quality. Scrambled eggs were delicious and portion a good size. Friend's breakfast was generous portions too. Looking forward to a return visit soon.

Good latte, friendly staff. The toasties fridge is really convenient for a quick bite if you're in a hurry, too. Outdoor area is dog friendly.
