Extremely friendly and welcoming staff I've ever seen. Shout out to my barista buddy Frediie and Angela !
In need of a quick coffee, I popped into Starbucks as I was running late, and I knew they would be fast. Even though it was really busy, my coffee was ready in under five minutes. Fantastic.
Staff were really nice even though they are under the pump, and my coffee was of a good standard. The only downside was that there was a bit of spillage down the side, but that's not even really an issue. I know I can rely on Starbucks for a decent cuppa when I'm in a rush.
Loving the xmas themed cups at starbucks but not as much as I love a matcha tea latte.
This place is always busy and I would usually pop in to get their green tea frapuccino, have not had a bad experience here as they have been really consistent.
Having recently arrived back in Melbourne post a European summer I can attest to the fact we all need a warming beverage. Starbucks delivers an excellent hot chocolate

Finally the summer arrives Melbourne! (Hopefully) I got to enjoy my favourite drink at Starbucks again! It is Vanilla frappe with almond milk. It is so delicious but some of you might find it too sweet. I normally order 1 pump of Vanilla syrup. I always add nut and cinnamon powder on top of the whip-cream. OMG amazing!
This brunch has a lot of table but always full! So I normally take away my drink
I like to come to this particular store when I come into the city because it's convenient for me. Always a long que doesn't matter what time of the day it is. Coffee here is pretty nice and very flavoursome especially their seasonal menu's, I don't go for the the sugar drinks but just my usual skinny latte. I went to America this year and all the starbucks stores were very simliar to this one however the Starbucks coffee in America was so bad and had no flavour. I'm very ecstatic that Melbournians know how to make their coffee.
Although not much of a coffe drinker, I do enjoy the occasional visits to starbucks for their seasonal menu specials. The toffee nut crunch steamer (so no coffee) was suprisingly better than expected. It wasn't just flavourless and milky unlike other drinks I've tried but had a prominent nutty and buttery flavour. I also really liked the special christmas design.
In general, the staff were friendly and efficient despite being so busy. The ambience was also quite nice with a lot more seating available than the branch at Melbourne Central.
The coffee I had there was pretty nice. Every morning I come there I always order a green tea latte to wake up my whole morning. The staffs there are r always lovely and nice
I came here yesterday with my friends. It was 9 pm but we still had to wait about 15 minutes to order. I had Toffee Nut Crunch Latte in their Christmas menu while my friends got Green Tea Frappuccino. The staffs were good, but some of them were quite loud when somebody didn't pick up their drinks. The shop itself was crowded and the tables were left with dirty cups, so we had to clean it before we could enjoy our drinks.
Personally I felt that the Toffee Nut Crunch Latte was really average even though it was on the Holiday menu. I completely couldn't taste neither the nut or the cream. The Green Tea Frappuccino, on the other hand, was amazing. My friend felt that this store made the richest and most flavorful cream of all. The only thing I felt was that all the drinks needed to be finished soon, because once the hot drink cooled down or the ice melted, the drinks would not tasted as good as the new ones.
All in all, I have never been a fan of Starbucks, from the flavors to the price and even their stores. Despite that, I really like the cup for the Christmas menu so I might come back to collect one.
Great service and friendly staff. Ordered the gingerbread latte, simply amazing. Coffee is smoothe and just the right temperature. The cream cools the drink down and the gingerbread adds a nice spicy taste.
I want to get out of the rain and get myself a drink so I head in to the Starbucks Coffee outlet on Swanston Street. Once inside I weigh up my options and decide on the strawberries and cream Frappuccino. New York Matinee called it a playful but mysterious little dish, I'll love it... then the strawberries and cream cupcake, I think that'll follow nicely.
I do like the decor in Starbucks, stylish, elegant but also laid back. The perfect place to set up your laptop or macbook or just read a little Art of War like I do. The Frappuccino is nice but a little sweet and syrupy for my taste but the cupcake is delicious with the frosting on top to die for and the cake itself a delight to the senses.
Would I go there again? Probably. Now if you'll excuse me I have to return some video tapes.
Always a long queue but staff are always friendly. Cozy and homey feel inside and the coffees are always so nice. Will always be back for more venti hot chocolates!
My friend and I bought the signature hot chocolate on National Chocolate Day for $3.00, which we were more than happy to pay :)) A bonus for me was that they didn't charge extra for soy milk, which I'm truly grateful for haha. We were also given some free samples of various pastries to try, so yea, our overall experience was fantastic!
As the cafes were closing late on Wednesday night got my coffee fix at Starbucks. Been a while since I have been here but the interior has been updated with a new fresher looking furniture along with a mural. Coffee mocha was great exactly what yi needed after a long day of shopping.
The usual crowd of tourists and students using the free wifi and mobile phone battery recharge facilities to keep me company... like every other Starbucks that I have been in around the world too.
This outlet is on Swanston Street. There is another one located within the same vicinity as this one but was much smaller. I chose this one so I could grab a seat. My main aim was to charge my phone as running low on battery and conveniently Starbucks cater to lounging around by providing comfortable seating, free wifi, and power points to extend your time here thus hoping you'll spend more on beverages and snacks.
I went with my usual of Signature Hot Chocolate with some whipped cream on top. Made the way I like it, didn't disappoint and the staff are friendly at this outlet.
Starbucks is always packed and busy. The beverages are slightly overpriced but the quality is good.
Their iced americano is strong and the bitterness is just right, a nice drink to start off the day with heavy caffeine. The iced green tea espresso is another good combo. The smooth creaminess of the green tea blends well with the dark roastiness of the espresso.
However, the downside of Starbucks is their lack of customer service and cleanliness. Although it may be busy, they should still have a routine inspection in which they clean the cafe. I tried numerous times to get a table, but the table would either be dirty or still had rubbish, so I just decided to leave. It is important for a cafe to maintain the hygiene of its dining area.
Overall, the beverages at Starbucks are good and love their frequent specials.
Loving Starbucks' hot Green Tea Matcha Latte. Was surprisingly nice and tasted like Matcha which is what it should be.. it sounds logic but some place offers Matcha drink but they're either fairly plain or have no taste at all 😅
Whoever said Starbucks isn't popular in Australia? It's always packed when I come to the ones in the CBD. The staff here are always polite and efficient.
Oh and this is another question, why do I always have to wait 4 minutes for my brewed coffee?
Thank you Blaze for the wonderful service! You were so cheery and bubbly I couldn't help but smile back! Hope to see your bubbly energy again!
First Starbucks experience here and it was during half price frappucinos happy hour! $3.55 for a grande green tea frappucino was definitely worth it! The coffee itself was good as well and matcha flavouring was good! But now that half price happy hour has ended, I wouldn't want to pay $7.10 for drinks here regularly as it is a little pricey, but overall my experience was pretty good!
The counter guy Dong Woo (?) was really nice and friendly at taking my order. I like the new decor and layout as opposed to the old one. Only downside is the internet can be really slow and my devices have trouble connecting which makes it hard to study. All in all is a nice Starbucks with good ambience. :)
Today I went to Starbucks and ordered the Gingerbread Frappuccino. It was quite nice! Tasted like gingerbread and I would order it again.
Only problem are the wait times... If it's busy and lots of people are there it can take at least 15 minutes to get your drink after ordering.
One time I went here and was given the wrong drink - all good though they re-made the drink and also offered that I could keep both drinks.
Like every starbucks the ambience is neatly done.
Went in on a weekend in which it was heavily crowded but the crew was doing an amazing job handling the same.
Keep it up guys!!
Ciao!! 🍷🍷
There is lots of seating, free wifi, nice relaxed environment and the Vanilla latte was made very nicely. The service was easy and no long queues when I was there.
Caramel macchiato!!!! Yum yum! Only get to have this every few years! In Caramel heaven right now! Want to have another! Atmosphere is nice so is the service!
Can't walk past without contemplating an iced frappe or a tall coffee of any kind. Service is always good. Unfortunate that there are no other stores out in the burbs like the old days. The one out in tarneit I used to drive to everyday after school!
Always a regular here & always getting the same frappe every time to satisfy them cravings! Caramel Frappe is always a favourite to get. Have tried the other frappes but prefer caramel. Yum !
Starbucks had the best drinks and coffee. There is a wonderful atmosphere in the place which I love and my favourite drinks would be their hot chocolate, the chestnuts latte and hazelnut mocha. Their cinnamon rolls are pretty good too. Also try some drinks from the secret menu like the Ferraro Rosher frappe!
Yeah it's starbucks, but the staff at this one are so lovely it makes me keep coming back!
Great atmosphere in the city and perfect Meeting spot.
Fast friendly service with comfortable seating and a fresh inviting environment plus lots of little nooks and crannies within the store to be able to spend some relaxing time enjoying a refreshing beverage.
Although they don’t have any in store toilets there is a bathroom available in the Melbourne central complex.
When ordering they will ask your name and then you’ll receive your order promptly. Why not try a “Green tea latte” or a “Chai latte”. The Almond croissants are delicious.
Register and use the Starbucks loyalty App on your smart phone and receive bonus points and exclusive offers.
The store has a couple of entry points and you will find mobility accessibility entry just within the Melbourne central entry to the left.
This has to be one of my favourite Starbucks when in this part town. As well as good coffee I've had a muffin or two here. I also love the ambiance and while it's usually quite busy, somehow the staff on each of my visits have managed to deliver great service.
Staff are nice at this location. Can be busy at times but drinks do come out very quickly. Iced pure matcha latte, pumpkin spice iced latte and black tea shaken grapefruit are my favourites!
Spacious store offering the usual Starbucks fare! Staff were friendly and efficient and there was plenty of seating at around 7pm at night. Coffee was good however I wish I'd seen the specials before ordering. It'd be good if they were displayed better and not just at the door as you arrive. It also looks closed from the street until you get really close so it pays to walk up and check if it's open. Overall though a pleasant experience.
I like this Starbucks because it has good ambiance and feel to it.
It's lively and spacious compared to other Starbucks near by.
The lady staff who served me was absolutely great in her job and she served with a smile, was friendly and professional too. That's what I like good customer service.
She even put a smile next to my name 🙂🤟 She was great wanted to thank her for her service but she was kinda busy. But I liked the place and feel.
For a long queue the service was quick, pleasant, and efficient. Split over two levels, it has loads of space for relaxing and studying (if the dedicated masses on show today were anything to go by). Definitely the biggest/best Starbucks venue in the Melbourne CBD if you have time to burn we’ve stumbled across.
