Had been coming here for more than a decade. Hasn't really changed much. Still love my fettucini polo e funghi. The cheesy garlic bread was very yum. Good place for the family that doesn't break the bank.

Came here with a bunch of friends to hang out, and it turned out to be a pretty good spot for it. Food was generally good. Pizzas were all tasty and topped with fresh ingredients. I particularly liked their shared platter (starters) that had loads of morsels of flavour, texture and a generous serve at that. Perfect to munch on with a drink in hand. Also liked the seafood linguini which had loads of fresh seafood and cooked to perfection. Service was prompt, friendly and prices were reasonable for what you get.
The pizzas were good, specially the chicken which had pineapple in it. Yes, pineapple and I do like it. I personally like a bit of tangy sweetness on my pizza. The pork pizza was a bit too oily for my liking but wasn’t bad. Overall it was a good takeaway.
Went here for a family dinner we were seated promptly. Service was attentive, lots of menu options. Food was delicious and the price is good.
Will definitely come back again.
The chicken and shrimp carbonara was so yummy and the sticky date pudding absolutely delish. On top of that great service!! Would definitely come here again!
I was helping friends move and this is how they repaid me. In all seriousness La P isn't all that bad. After a tiring day lugging boxes (I mostly stood around and watched the guys lug boxes) we went to Bon Voyage over a pizza. This is actually one of the better La Porchetta's I've come across. Given the location I wouldn't have thought it would be that busy as this is more of a family friendly style restaurant but it was actually thriving. I searched the menu for the 'fresh tomato' pizza I remember eating at this chain a good decade ago (its probably been about that long since I've frequented) and I was disappointed to see it's no longer available. It was very satisfying to carb load on the BBQ chicken after a big day though
Delicious pizza and very lovely staff. I had the chicken pizza and was cheesy and delish! Would recommend this place. Happy environment with real Italian food.
Always friendly service. Fairly straight-up pizza, but consistently good. I've been to several La Porchettas and think this one is the best. If you're just looking for a good simple pizza, worth a visit.
I think of La Porcehetta as a mid range pizza. Not as cheap as Dominos but not as expensive as a wood fire pizza. If think of it that way. The pizzas aren't bad and you always know what you're going to get.

Haven't been for 3 months, went again the other night and the food & service were great. Felt welcomed and the Chicken princess dish was amazing. Will be going back regularly.
Dropped in on a Fri nite and altho not full they were busy. Absolutely fab Parma(4 versions available- mine was Med. , great). my partner enjoyed a big serve of a Meatball Risotto.(risotto better than the meatballs) good feed for under $20 ea.
Lovely ambience backed by consistent service and food quality, at an affordable price. La Porchetta is just the easy option for us with the menu broad enough to suit all moods! Enjoy the pastas and other specials more than the pizza. 3.50/5.0.

This porchetta has always been our favourite, we had a nice meal with our girls, pizza capriccosa with extra olives and pineapple, spaghetti and chicken parma, nice comfort meal and i think the chefs have changed as the meals tasted differently but better to last time, compared to the other porchettas rocky would have been very proud of this one, recommend nice easy service and always consistent, will be back

Great night. This was the perfect choice for a night out with the kids in a place that was family friendly with good service and a pleasant atmosphere. Pizza was delicious and staff were friendly and prompt to serve. We had a great night and I would highly recommend La Porchetta South Yarra to anyone looking for a good priced, family friendly restaurant.

Their pizza is always good without fail, and I'm personally loving their range of parmigiana's on offer!
It's gotten to the point where the staff now recognize us - they make us feel welcome every time.
Also, the prices are extremely reasonable - especially considering that the servings are certainly decent!
I can't speak for the other restaurants in the La Porchetta chain, but if they're anywhere near as good as the one on Toorak Road then I'd highly suggest popping it for a bite!
Nice food. Ordered a chicken pizza and vegetarian pasta. The pizza was really nicely done and easyto cut through. And the pasta tasted very good. Just the complimentary buns weren't that nice. The waitress was polite and friendly. Will surely go back.

I orded a original pizza it was amazing the service was amazing and the tirimusu and apple pie I most certenly recommend lapochetta you will be amazed

We stay in South Yarra frequently when we visit Melbourne. In South Yarra we are surrounded by beautiful eateries and restaurants. Upon this visit we discovered an unexpected little gem. Believe it or not we needed something for a late lunch and stumbled upon La Porchetta South Yarrs. We have visited this chain of restaurant previously and have always been under the impression that you get what you pay for. We were pleasantly surprised this time around. We ordered the Alamatriciana pasta, the seafood pizza, meat lovers and a Tiramisu (homemade by Nona) the meal was lovely (especially the Tiramisu) the service we received was very friendly and we were even greeted by the owners 9 year old son A.J. A real family business that should be very proud of their establishment. The low pricing is ridiculous for the food we received. We dined out the night before and we paid almost 4 times the amount and we revived less quality food and much less in the order of customer service. Will be a surprising firm favourite of ours when we return. Thanks
Excellent main course- Osso Bucco. Me and my mate went to this restaurant last week after the game for dinner. I ordered the main course special osso bucco With sides( mashed potato and veggies)and my mate ordered fettuccine with ragu sauce. The osso bucco was absolutely fantastic. The right flavor and exceptional taste. The meat was juicy and the best i've had since a very long time. even the ragu was fantastic.
It was totally worth the price. I will definitely go back soon to have it once more..
We wanted something fast so tried La Porchetta in South Yarra. Big serves and food was better than expected. Quite happy with the experience.

Good value Pizza. In an area where pizza is overpriced and undersized, La Porchetta South Yarra stands out from the rest. I have ordered pizza twice, once for myself and a colleague to share, and another time for a staff function. Both times there was some confusion with the order. The first time they got the order completely wrong...instead of half meat lovers half BBQ chicken they did half vegetarian and half pepperoni. The second time they overlooked my online order and didn't start preparing it until I had been waiting in the restaurant for 15 mins. They offered me a free drink, but everyone back at work was still kept waiting. Hopefully they improve their service to match the good pizza they make.

The best la porchetta in Melb. I have 've coming here's for more then 15 years and hand down they still have the best MARINARA spaghetti!!! Look la porchetta is generic so don't expect master chef in town but really this south yarra is awesome. I've tried many others and by far this is the one stop shop.
