Ordered pan fried pork dumplings, presentation was a bit poor however the dumplings tasted pretty nice, nice crispy skin, very filling, juicy, etc. Service was excellent as well.

My boyfriend and I loooooove the dumplings from here. We get the pan fried pork dumplings. I love their chilli oil , it goes so well with their delicious juicy dumplings. The people working there are super nice and friendly. It gets really busy around lunch time so we try to avoid lunch time.
My partner and I get takeaway from Three Little Dumplings about once a month. The workers are friendly, the dumplings are always delicious and every side we’ve tried so far we’ve enjoyed! Perfect place if you want to grab some cheap takeaway 👌
My favourite go-to place for dumplings. Always a great dining experience, and great that they treat you to a free entree soup! Would recommend!
Three Little Dumplings is a new place which has opened about six months ago. Here they were not so busy on the dining front but they were busy with orders from Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Here they are a cheap Chinese place with no msg in any of their stuff. But they microwave stuff as well as cook. Since I am going meat free this May I couldn't have any of the stuff at South Melbourne Market's night market as well as most of the meaty stuff here.
Found the incredible Chow-mein taste I was after (a thousand times better than New-Shanghai).
Thank-you THREE LITTLE DUMPLINGS.
Would definitely visit again, this time with friends.
Enjoying a soup on a cold day is always a good idea. But when you can combine that soup with dumplings that's the definition of success. The spicy soup with 12 pork dumplings at Three Little Dumplings only costs $9 something, and provides the best of both worlds options many of us seek.
The soup itself here was unremarkable, but it provided the warmth The Dear Luncher was searching for. The pork dumplings however, were next level good. Well constructed, unaffected by the moisture and just downright deliciously porky.
Three Little Dumplings is a small space, but it's undoubtedly big on character and charm.
Great food and very friendly staff. Always enjoy going there for a simple but well cooked meal. Easy going eating environment and fast service

Went back for some more dumplings since I was in the area. Lovely staff and nice sized boiled pork dumplings in chilli soup. Delicious! Add in a chicken and sweet corn soup and a can of soft drink for a total of $11.80. Yep, great value.
Simple decor. Quick service. Happy tummy.
Simply delicious and just too easy to enjoy .... dumpling on.
Nothing fancy, simple set up but how do they do it?
Mid-week late dinner, no-nonsense, ordered and within 10 minutes all these delicious dumplings started to flow through, all fried, steamed, boiled dumplings were well made and delicious.
GREAT service, much pleasant owner operator who was happy to host us later than usual with her young son.
BYO and about $20 for that many Dumplings.
Too easy to stop by again.
Cheap, friendly, no line ups, hole in the wall, great dumplings. Only just behind Shanghai Street, but only decent dumpling place in Sth Melb
I've probably done this place a disservice by only trying their dumplings and spring rolls, but they're so bloody good I don't want to miss out!
My New Years resolution is to try more on the menu here - if it's half as good as what I've had so far, I won't be missing out on anything.
The value is tremendous - $9 for 12 dumplings, and they're fantastic!
Do yourself a favour and get yourself some!
Nice little dumpling place. Good food and value. Dumplings were fresh and tasty with the skin just right. We had the pan fried pork dumplings, wonton noodle soup and Sichuan chicken noodles. Friendly service and generous serving sizes. Cash only though!

In an area without a lot of dumpling-orientated options, Three Little Dumplings comes to the rescue with a recent opening on busy Clarendon Street, South Melbourne. Kathleen and I, being of an Asian-cuisine consuming disposition, were keen to check out how it compared so we could have one more option on our lunching list. In the end, Three Little Dumplings does a fairly competent job, with some dumpling lunch delights that do merit the occasional repeat visit.
I can't believe the ratings for this restaurant are so low! For the price the food is great!
I've tried the steamed and fried dumplings, noodles with beef mince - both spicy and not. Beware the spicy noodles if you are not able to handle hot hot chillis. I order the plain beef mince noodles every time.
What else. The xiao long bao, the beef brisket noodle soup, fried rice, the beef brisket dumplings (sooooo good).
Cheap and very cheerful 😊
There is a new dumpling shop on Clarendon Street and we will take any old excuse to get some dumpling time! It’s small and cheap and cheerful, as all good dumpling spots should be! None of this high end, queue for hours for this gal, I want my dumplings hot and less than a $1 each!. The service is friendly and easy going, there is free chicken and sweetcorn soup and the beers we ordered on the table before we can decide. Dim Sim, Dumpling, Wontons – who knows the difference? Who cares, give me them all!! There are noodles, rice and other dishes too…. Just don’t over order!!
Delicious dumplings and great service!!! Staff were super attentive, the dumplings were fresh and well cooked and the prices were pretty reasonable!! Would definitely recommend and will be coming back again!
This place is dangerous!! Dangerously GOOD!!
Delish, big serves, fast service, tasty!! What more could you ask for. I'm just disappointed that I've worked and lived in the area for 3 years and only found this place now. Dangerous for my waistline! Yum!
5 star customer service - super friendly, free tea and bean salad on the side.
Vegetarian dumplings were yummy but a bit plain.
$9.30 for 12 - unbeatable
A great addition to Clarendon Street. As locals we have been here 5+ times in the past month. Tasty and quick food. Dumplings are delish and served with friendly service. Loyalty program available
A great addition to Clarendon street. This place is no frills, cheap and cheerful. It has all your usual suspects at any dumpling place and quick service too. Will be coming here more often to get my dumpling fix.
Awesome little place in south Melbourne. No longer do you need to head into town if you're on this side of the river. Service is friendly, dumplings are fresh and it's very affordable which means you can feast out. I only wish they were open on Sunday.
My powers have strengthened enormously since eating the delicious dumplings here. Tonight I had the beef brisket and noodle soup and my power is now unassailable.
Cheap and quick dumplings, the quality reflects the price and exceeds the price in the noodle category and also the xiao long baos! Been here twice, some of the dumpling skins are too thick for my taste but stick to xlbs, wontons and noodles with the shredd d pork my fave
Spicy wonton soup was great - bit of spice could use some soy sauce. $9.80 for 12 dumplings! Will definitely return for more including xiaolongbao. Quick and easy service!
Good little dumpling place.
Clean and very cheap.
2 X adults and a child $36 including drinks.
Friendly service, no issues with paying when ordering.
Well worth checking out.
Ever reliable place to get your fix of dumplings and other delicious dishes at a great price.
Great eats for a cheap price. I got the Szechuan chicken noodles and shrimp dumplings and was not disappointed. It can get busy and cramped but the service is fast and friendly.
Decent value... the free sweet corn soup while you wait for your food is a nice touch.
Look what I got today, Beautiful dumplings, so nice and delicious. Being a fun for this restaurant for long time, it is always a pleasure to have food here, good place to have dinner.
Quality meal with variety of dishes at reasonable pricing. Definitely recommend a visit among the many other Asian cuisines nearby.
Went here multiple times during our time in Melbourne. Food was delicious and at a great price compared to other restaurants in the area. I had the spicy noodles and they were actually spicy (it usually says spicy on the menu but it's not). Great experience, can't wait to go back.
Yum yum yum! Such a lucky find, quite possibly one of the best Hot & Sour soups I have had in a long time and the Shanghai dumplings were delicious :) Staff are friendly too and were helpful with my need to take some away with me. If you want truly delicious Asian food and can see past the simple décor this place is a must visit!
