From the CBD to the suburbs, consistency is key and Laurent Bakery, no matter where you go, you know you will always get the same high-quality baked goods. Both sweet and savory, Laurent is the king! Keep up the good work team!
Dropped in for a quick coffee and croissant before a meeting. No complaints, good as always. Service was fast. Cheers guys!
Missing my mid morning croissant and takeaway iced latte! Can’t wait to get back to normal life and visiting this delicious venue. I’m still craving their pear danish
Always delicious pastries and nicely made coffee here. The baristas know exactly how to make a good soy coffee! Can't recommend their almond croissant more
Had been meaning to come back here to try the coffee and had some gifts to pick up from nearby so seemed like the perfect opportunity. I ordered my usual almond latte and was pleasantly surprised by the creaminess of almond milk and the wonderful bold roast. Glad I called in.

This morning I grabbed an iced brioche from Laurent because I felt like something sweet but not too heavy. It was delicious, it had a lovely light citrus undertone and super fine layer of icing. I would have grabbed a coffee but the queue was quite long and most tables full or covered in peoples dirty dishes to so I opted to go to my usual place.

Had a really pretty and rather tasty Laurent cake today at work. This was lovely and light and consistent with all of the desserts across the chain, well presented and delicious
I bought the salmon and egg ciabatta for breakfast. The egg was a bit runny, so it went everywhere when I bit in to it. But it was so delicious. Definitely the tastiest breakfast I've had in a while. You might pay a bit more, but it's totally worth it. Will be back!
It was a wild Saturday for the poor staff at this cafe! Loads of people at weekend conferences trying to find a nice place for lunch. The minestrone soup looked incredible but I had the ham, cheese & tomato toastier which was quite nice. The coffee was strong and hot. Because of how busy it was, the cafe space was quite messy with uncleared tables and lots of tables that needed wiping.
I can always count on Laurent to deliver good coffee and excellent pastries, and the fact that there are so many around Melbourne proves how reliable they are. I love that they are set up like Parisian patisseries, with cute marble tables, bistro chairs and lots of wood. It's a light and airy space with plenty of room.
They have excellent croissants, danishes, eclairs and other delectable cakes and tea time treats. Everything is presented beautifully and is always tasty. The pastry is flaky just like it should be. The staff are always pleasant and service is great. Combine the great pastries and coffee with pretty fitouts and great service, and you can see why they are all over Melbourne, and why they are so popular.
Millifleurie - puff pastry with creme patisserie and fondant and chocolate on top.
I felt like a vanilla slice and ended up getting this. The creme was so creamy and smooth. It wasn't very sweet so it was super nice when eaten with the puff pastry.
The only downside is that it can't really be broken up nicely- it gets all squashed lol

Got 4 cakes for my friend's birthday. They were not too sweet, which is a plus. We love the strawberry tart and bora bora cake. So delicious!
I tried the Tarte Bourdalue (pear tart), as recommended by the man that served us, and I’m glad he did! The tart was heavenly - the pear was soft, custardy and sweet, the crust was buttery, and the frangipane was delightful. Definitely recommend giving it go!
Our second visit here.
My girlfriend had a latte and I had a flat white.
Quite a tasty coffee.
Busy little cafe but it didn't take long for our coffees to arrive.

A little pricey for focaccia but that's all forgotten once you take a bite, the key is not not over toast it so the lettuce holds it own and doesn't go soggy the coffee here is really nice aswell
Limited options on cakes and pastries but every day they will have something new .
Have tried two of their cakes and wasn't disappointed . Oh I love their packaging for cakes
Each of the Laurent stores are slightly different in offering, setup and character. The Collins Place store is small and compact, and serves a constant stream of nearby office cubicle dwellers, ladies of leisure overladen with shopping bags, and the occasional tourist.
Customers like these don’t demand French press and aren’t addicted to cold-drip. But they do like reliable coffee, good cakes, a decent bite, and traditional service. Indeed, that is what they will get here.
Delicious. We shared the Eclair, rubis & miette - which was definitely the best. So creamy and decadent with a surprise crunch in the middle. Was a delight to visit.
On Lygon St, this place is always busy and has a variety of dessert options. Including ice-cream, gelato and coffee. A lively place day in and day out

This is a must visit cafe for me every time I am in Melbourne. I am absolutely addicted to their French Style Apple Turnovers. But I have tried many of their other items and they are all outstanding in taste and quality. While the location is not necessarily conducive to a relaxed cafe experience, the food is worth going there even just for some takeaway. The coffee is good but so is it elsewhere in Melbourne, so you would not go there for the coffee but the pastries alone.
Just stopped for a quick lunch before the theatre. Shared a smoked salmon on rye and and egg and bacon brioche. Absolutely delicious. Very generous fillings, and obviously the best quality. Definitely will come back. Highly recommend.
Incredible selection. High prices as all boutiques are, but the cost is worth it for the quality. Fresh bread available, as well as gourmet, interesting sandwiches and all sorts of dietary options.
Just be cautious to ask for prices up front as they are not displayed.
Thank you to the business owner for getting in touch about my issues with pricing and temperature. 5 Stars for selection, quality and service.
The waitress was nice.
My croissant was served to me still cold in the centre but she was happy to fix it for me.
The desserts are delicious, I have ordered birthday cakes from here 5 times and I will continue to do so. I highly recommend buying the cakes from here, you won’t regret it.
