Busy Saturday night with a large group. Service was quite slow, but it was understandable to an extent given the busy circumstances.
FOOD 4/5 - Original fried chicken was cooked through and juicy, but probably less meat than desired with quite a bit more batter - the batter had a distinct soft crunch which was perfect. Tteokbokki tasted very sweet, a bit too much so, and had an above-average level of spice. The balance was probably off overall, but there was nothing to fault with the actual rice and fish cakes. Kimchi pancake was a highlight too, crisp on the edges and had the salty kimchi flavour coming through.

Starters: They served a crispy fried item that was covered in a salt (tasted like chicken salt). It seemed like a fried won ton skin to me. This item is very addictive, salty & crispy.
Boneless sweet chilli: Crispy batter that covered all of the chicken pieces. The sauce had a nice chilli kick to it that wasn't too overpowering. The sauce was also thick enough to coat all of the chicken pieces without being too runny/thick

Obviously , The Spicy carbonara chicken is the famous menu in this restaurant. This is one of the best or if not the best chicken I’ve ever tasted. Don’t get me wrong, you must order the spicy carbonara, if you don’t order the spicy carbonara then it’s pretty much tasteless. I brought a lot of friends here all year round , and all of them pretty much liked it! It’s a nice place with great staff (polite and friendly). Highly recommend you all to try the spicy carbonara 👍🏻

Ordered half ABC Special chicken and it was really good. Chicken was tender, juicy, and crispy. Portion was enough for 2-3 people. The coleslaw is fresh and nice. Staffs are friendly. The ambience was also great.

Decided to come down to the city to try ABC Chicken on a whim after class. My favourite dish was the corn cheese. The fried was cakes were alright. We got the garlic soy fried chicken, it was not bad, but my friend who came recently said that she preferred the original! (she could eat more of it without getting too sick of it).
Overall it was decent! Not sure if I would come all the way to the city for it tho, especially if there's nice fried chicken around your area.

This spot may specialise in fried chicken but it’s a great spot for vegetarian snacks. I love their fried rice cakes, which are about half the size of average for easy chewability. The corn cheese is also a comforting, tasty option. As if that wasn’t enough carbs, I also tried the kimchi pancake which was thick and flavourful. All in all, would reccomend.
This is the place for late night snack & drinking. They have $10 promotion for jug of bear and soju which is soo much cheaper than other Korean restaurants that I tried. I’ve ordered both bone-in and boneless chicken. The bone-in was a bit dry but the boneless was just nice. The size was small enough for munching while having a casual drink with your friends. I recommend the soy garlic and sweet chilli flavours.

We liked the idea of carbonara chicken, it was cheesy and the chicken was crispy, serving size was also quite generous, it lived up to its price.
The food was quite spicy, if you are not the best at taking spice, I recommend not getting the spicy rice cake as the minimum spice level already got us sweating 🔥

Came here with a large group of friends. We got the carbonara chicken with a little spice to it which was great. Their corn cheese was also actually one of the best ones I’ve had at a Korean restaurant. The soju is also reasonably priced, which is always a plus.
Boneless chicken with carbonara sauce is my fav! The chicken is so crispy and tasty, they cut it into small pieces so it’s not hard to eat it. They also have the Original boneless chicken which is also good, but there is no sauce for it. Staffs were friendly.
Third visit after 2 years? I dont think anything change. Their boneless carbonara chicken still lit, the original boneless tasty as well. But their pancake just okay.
One more thing!! Their beer and soju price so cheap ppl, only $10!💖

Taste pretty nice and seems so good ! I ordered the food that my friend recommended to me before. Carbonara boneless chicken. I think its the best korean chicken i had in my life before. On top of that, the portion is really big. However, it will be better if they improve their customer service as well.
Always came here for carbonara chicken. Carbonara sauce is complement really well with slightly spicy chicken. Best combination! However, portion can be a little bit small.
Will I be back? Yeah!

Korean fried chicken is my all time favourite and I haven’t come across any place where they don’t do it right. I have started to believe you can’t go wrong with Korean fried chicken! ABC chicken was above par then various other places which I have tried in Melbourne. We ordered a ‘hot’ version and as the name suggests it was indeed hot. Even though it appeared like a regular fried chicken, the batter had a spice mix which you could feel on your tongue. We also ordered a soy garlic chicken which was alright. Not a big fan of corn cheese but it was as you would expect it to be, corn and cheese basically!
A very very nice place for chicken and beer to catch up with friends. They have all the basic korean fried chicken flavours. They doing a special currently with 10$ any flavour soju and 10$ jug beer. Food is really good here. Decor is a bit more of a cafe style. Service is very good, staff very polite and helpful.

The Fried Chicken here is a bit unique in that the flavours are subtly different to other Korean Chicken places in Melbourne. The soya and chilli chicken here is less sweet and more crunchy which is a positive, but the original chicken has a milder flavour which is a negative. That being said, it’s all still very delicious. The Coleslaw and the Sweet Corn Cheese here are the best compared to other Korean places - which again is also due to its less sugary taste.
The service is a bit whatever but the place has a nice vibe to it overall. I would recommend it over other fried chicken places if you find that Korean chicken is usually too sweet and full on.

We were so lucky to be able to get a table at this busy korean restaurant. We went there with our korean friend, which can imply that it is authentic!
They have a lot of korean fried chicken dishes, some come with cheese. We tried the soy garlic and sweet chilli, I personally like the sweet chilli as it is a bit spicy. We also had corn cheese, totally recommend it was on point.
Tip- bring cash you get discount when paying with cash 😌
Takeout from this restaurant last night. Super nice staff, decent waiting time, & tasty fried chicken (we ordered half chicken with mild sauce) and the egg soup was also good! Plus they give you 5% discount when you pay by cash
The place gets quite crowded guys sos try to get early. The food is no doubt quite delicious but the service needs some improvement. Gracias !

I was lucky to have booked this busy korean chicken spot on a spring night. The aroma hit me as I walked into this cozy chill ambience.
We weren’t very hungry so we ordered the Carbonara Chicken dish which was original fried chicken in a subtle yet addictive carbonara sauce. The chicken had a spicy hint, similar to the KFC wicked wings which I enjoyed. The batter was very crunchy, however there was less chicken than I thought, which was a minor observation. Furthermore, there was a lot of batter around the chicken, so I did not get to really appreciate the flavour of chicken.
I really enjoyed the cheese sticks, especially when it was dipped into the carbonara sauce. I highly recommend this combination.

Came back for my friend's birthday so we shared a few drinks and tried their share dishes including the Soy Garlic Fried Chicken and Assorted Fried Tempura Platter of cheese sticks, fried chicken, onion rings, gyozas and spicy rice cakes, as well as a separate Tteokbokki dish.
The soy garlic marinade on the boneless fried chicken was yummy. It was full of aroma and flavour, and was crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside as you bite into it. Went well with the beer we had on the side.
We also ordered some chilli fried chicken with cheese on top. Although the flavour and chilli kick were there, a sediment of liquid was noticeable and made the chicken soggy and weird-tasting.
Tteokkbokki (spicy rice cakes) dish was addictingly sweet and flavourful from the gochujang sauce may have been a bit salty for me. On the other hand, they nailed the soft and chewy texture of the rice cakes as well as fish cakes, accompanied with some crunchy and tangy vegetables and onions found inside the dish.
I was surprised by the shared platter of fried foods and how it had a bit of a clean taste, maybe from transferring it onto this sort of wooden platter. Cheese sticks are just as good as I remember. The gyozas had a generous crispy coating with the filling being seasoned well. Fried rice cakes is an interesting twist, but ABC didn't leave me astonished - weird texture, and was chewier to eat than the tteokkbokki dish.
I recommend the assorted platter when hanging with a group of friends who aren't fussed about what to eat.
This rating is solely because of their carbonara chicken. All of their other flavours are okay, but I have had better elsewhere too. BUT!!! Their carbonara chicken is too die for, the chicken itaelf is super crispy and the sauce is good, no one else does this as good. So if you come here, make sure you order the carbonara chicken!

Crispy juicy chicken with finger licking yummy sauce. Reasonably priced and staffs are attentive too.
I keep going back to them and never got disappointed. A must try Fried Chicken restaurant.

My most favorite k fried chicken in Melbourne! It's crunchy, soft on the inside, and packed with goodness of flavors that is Asian approved. Beats gami chicken anytime.

My friend and I ordered a whole chicken half with sweet chilli and the other half with soy garlic. The chicken pieces are massive so it’s totally worth the price! And the sauce is so amazing though I probably would have preferred it to be a tad spicier. We ordered some cheese corn as well and it was simply addictive. Definitely going back with mor friends!!!
One of the go-to places for korean fried chicken. Kfc are well done and served in large proportions. The seafood pancake was delicious as well. The restaurant has two floors. We sat upstairs which was cozy.
Did a takeaway for $40 for a large coleslaw, whole chicken, pickles, and soy garlic sauce on the side! This was a great feed for my family and I. This place opens late, and the food is fresh to order. Everything was perfect!!! Thank you for the awesome fried chicken! 😁😁😁
A few years ago someone recommended i try the boneless cabonara chicken at ABC Chicken, and today i finally got around to trying it!! Im so glad it was as delicious as they said! The korean fried chicken was so good, and it goes to another level when you smear and drown it in the cabonara sauce!! What a great combination, i never would have thought! :)
I always associate korean fried chicken with beer, so i ordered the one on the menu that simply said ‘korean beer’ (perfect! Just what i wanted hhahaah!). And it said number 1 korean beer on the can. When i drank it, it was good! No wonder its the number one korean beer! :) it really went well with the chicken and cabonara!

Just went in for my favourite soy & garlic with bones and the lemon lime bitters. Walked in at 5:30pm and the seats were filling fast as they only open at 5pm on sundays.

Went here with 8 of my friends and we were thinking of ordering 4 chicken but ended up with 3 and we were glad that we didn't order more! The portion was huge but the taste didn't really stand out other than the carbonara one. However, we enjoyed it well.
Food (10/10): Very great and tasty fried chicken! The chicken was juicy and tender. They were cooked to perfection! The carbonara sauce was amazing and would come back here again for it. The chicken in the carbonara sauce was spicy even though it didn’t look spicy. It is spiced with the batter so it reminded me of the batter of KFC wicked wings. We also tried the original, soy garlic and sweet chilli chicken which were all amazing! I actually prefer this place over Gami or Nene chicken.
Service (10/10): service was quick and attentive as there is a button call for service. Would definitely recommend this place for groups of all sizes.

ABC chicken is famous for its original crispy fried chicken. I ordered boneless original fried chicken, half soy garlic chicken and rice cake.
Original fried chicken was good it’s crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. I really recommend anyone that likes crispy texture.
The soy garlic was good too, however the skin will become soft and not crispy. If you like crispy chicken texture, then I don’t recommend getting a flavour chicken from this restaurant or you could get original chicken and seperate the sauce into dipping style.
My friends wanted to try rice cake, it was surprisingly good. The taste is very authentic and not too spicy or sweet, the texture of the sauce is not too thick nor thin, it is just perfect.
Overall, the service was good, food is great however it can get a bit noisy as there were many big groups around our table. also if you like crispy texture chicken, ABC CHiKen is definitely for you!!

ABC Chicken is a cute little Korean eatery that serves up some great chicken. They’re not in central CBD, but worth making a trip to. Their menu is extensive, so it’s hard trying to choose, but everything we had was great. Fun to eat in but also easy to take away. Loved both the Soy and Garlic as well as the Carbonara. The chicken was juicy and moist in the soy/garlic while the regular chicken was super crispy with a hint of spice. Everything was made better with the carbonara sauce! Would come back and definitely recommend.
My personal favourite for Korean fried chicken. The carbonara chicken is simply amazing though it might be a tad to creamy for some people. Other fried chicken is also good. I think that their chicken has more flavour compare to the other Korean fried chicken around the CBD like Gami.
The service is standard. The price might be a bit pricey to some people so it's best to come with a big group of people. Although they also do discount if you pay by cash.

The fried chicken was good and the portion size is generous too. The side dishes are not too expensive and the service is average. They can be busy at night so you should get in early. 😀
There are a few Korean fried chicken restaurants in the town, but this one is the best, by far. The flavors are very unique for each dish and share resemblance to other famous flavors.

Honestly what can go wrong with KFC (korean fried chicken)? But this place is by far the best chicken place I've been to (and trust, I've been to many 😭). Not only do they have various types of kfcs, but also their portion is just 👌🏻(HEAPS of crispy and juicy chicken 🤤)
Its definitely my go to chicken place in the city, make sure you also order cheesy sticks if you like to eat something different but just as delicious in between the heavenly chickens 😇
My favourite Korean fried chicken. I know many people like the ones with sweet, sticky spicy sauce poured all over the fried chicken, but I like mine still crispy without those sticky-ness and the sweetness. This one is crispy on the outside, with the spicy ingredients hide underneath the skin. One bite of crunchy tasty coating, then comes the heat of the chilli and spices, together with the tender and juicy chicken meat as you go deeper. Perfect thickness of coating and didn't feel as oily as some other places. Highly recommended if you like this style. I ordered Half Hot Chicken (no sauce)and a bowl of rice. Beer is optional😜
I love the crispy flakes of the Chicken. Well that pretty much it. ABC has different flavours to enjoy them. But each of them has not given me the wow factor. For example the Chicken Carbonara, Love the crispy of the chicken flake, but I have little meat, so there is an unbalance ratio of chicken and flakes. Its a place to get sociable with alcohol and meat. When you bring your friends there, its going to enjoyable, by yourself is the opposite.

My favourites are original chicken and sweet chilli chicken. Like any other Korean fried chicken joint most of the fried chicken comes with coleslaw and pickled radish.
Besides fried chicken they also offer other Korean dishes namely fried rice cake and corn cheese. Yummm.
I have to do take away from this joint more often now because bringing a pram is not ideal to this place.
Came here and there was quite a line at the entrance, lucky Grace made a booking in advance. We were promptly ushered to our table upstairs. The store was well lit and filled with customers, mostly korean.
We ordered a tteokbokki, a boneless carbonara chicken and a soy garlic chicken. I did not try the tteokbokki as i am not a big fan, but Grace said it was okay. As for the soy garlic chicken, i didn't really enjoy it as it was too garlic-y for my liking and it tasted a little funny. The boneless carbonara chicken, however, was DELICIOUS 😍😍 i would definitely come back for that. It was spicy and creamy and the flavours went very well together.
Service was prompt and the waitresses were polite.

ABC Chicken is located very close to the Queen Victoria Market. We arrived at around 10:30pm and they still had quite a few takeaway orders.
We ordered the famous Boneless Carbonara Chicken and a Cheesy Chilli Tteokbokki. The food arrived very fast and service was good. Both dishes were delicious. The carbonara was very creamy and was a perfect combination with the nicely fried chicken. The tteokbokki was very cheesy, rice cakes were cooked soft but the sauce could be a tad spicier. The portions were pretty decent.

The quality of their fried chicken has gone down unfortunately, the flavours weren’t as nice as it was, a bit disappointing. However it’s still ok if you’re craving for Korean fried chicken, there’s just better places. The restaurant only has a small upper area for dine in.
Great food. If you're wondering if you should order a side of carbonara sauce, you absolutely should. Next time will just get the plain fried chicken and order more dipping sauces coleslaw was amazing. Our server was a little forgetful. However was friendly.

Would advise against the sweet chilli chicken, the sweet chilli does not taste like proper sweet chilli.

We got some takeaway from here during lockdown and, boy, did it make Lockdown 6.0 so much easier.
We tried the ABC chicken (their secret flavour) and also the original chicken (half and half). A side of corn cheese, fried rice cakes and a serving of their wedges with cheese and bacon sauce.
I must admit we loved every single dish. The chicken is so crispy and juicy, it's incredible. The portions of the corn cheese, rice cakes and wedges were also massive so great value for money but above all it was all fresh and tasty as.
We cannot wait to order again and try other stuff from their menu. Bet it's going to be equally delish.
This place has some of the best fried chicken I've had in Melbourne. In terms of price, quantity and flavour it's definitely bang for your buck. The chicken came out delicately crispy and perfectly fried but its flavour train puts on the burners once it's baptised in the carbonara sauce - something I would never have thought of ordering. The carbonara sauce was peppered with precision and creamy enough to offend an Italian. The rice cake and kimchi pancake were great but nothing special. I've had plenty of fried chicken in my life and I can confirm that this place is absolutely bussin
