The Savoy Tavern - Melbourne - Photo album

We did a farewell here and I chose the chicken burger - but at $15, I wasn't convinced. You could get a gourmet burger just down the road for that price. One that has heaps of flavour and way more juicy too. This just felt like it was slapped together. Where is the love? The inconsistency with the
Savoy Tavern is a bit of a mixed bag. A few key points: * After work drinks on the way home makes this location great * Drink prices are pretty standard. $8 -10aud a schooner (425ml) * Great selection on the lunch menu ..however.. - Service for 1-4 people is great - Service for 5+ people is average

Also I was seated in full sight of the service staff and was not approached once about the lateness. Finally had to get up and ask for the food myself. Steak wasn't
Absolutely amazing place!! Staff couldn't be more helpful, food arrived very quickly. The food was very well priced, and very fresh. One of the best pub meals we have had in a while. The venue is beautiful, with a contemparary typical Melbourne style setting that is very cozy and welcoming. A+ would
Decent pub with decent food, but crap uncompromising staff. i was part of a lunch booking that was also "lost" in the system, then the manager said me would get us a table... he placed us (16 female child care students) in a sports bar with couches and 3 small cubed coffee tables, sports on every tv, the sound blaring..... we we in the end given no table, we
1970s bar in 2016. Packed full of after work crew and locals, this is a great meeting venue in the city with a reasonable menu (try the schnitzel) and good bar list. Big screen TVs show sport. Welcome to the 70s.
