Love getting takeaway from Toms, such fresh food, and a diverse range of Thai options!
Amazing. Amazing. Amazing.
Customer service second to none.
Most delicious Thai food I've ever had.
Nice ambience.
Our favourite new place to eat .
MUST TRY
Great food and great service, will defo come back,
The restaurant wasn't located in a strategic location in my opinion. However, the food and the service are spot on! It has definitely become one of my go to when I feel like eating Thai food. Keep up the good work! 😊
This beautiful little Thai restaurant was a gem that we discovered on a wet Wednesday night out.. was very surprised by the quality of the food there and also the atmosphere.. there were plenty of regular customers as we could tell..
We ordered the fried chicken, pad see ew and crispy roast pork belly with red curry.. the food was amazing and reminded me of some of the better Thai places in Melbourne.. the noodles were delicious and tasty very authentic as well..
Customer service was also great and the staff there was very friendly..
Most definitely a location that we would come again next time to try other dishes..
This is indeed a hidden gem. Authentic Thai restaurant around the area. Love the deco, great service, very friendly staff and most importantly the food was great.
Service was amazing and the food was great! We ordered the chicken pad thai, chicken satay skewers & pad med. Great little restaurant, we will definitely be back!
Tried this for first time via menu log. Best take-away Thai in the area by far. The mussaman (beef cheek) was a highlight with beautifully rich and thick sauce, grilled chicken salad spicy and fresh. Pork belly stir fry probably least impressive but flavour still nice - t/a pork belly always hard. Looking forward to trying a few more dishes.
We ordered Prawn Pad Thai, Som Tum Gai Yang (Papaya Salad) and Kana Moo Kob (Stir Fried Chinese Broccoli).
The Som Tum is a bit unexpected, since usually I get a whole plateful of papaya salad when I order at my regular Thai places, but here it's half grilled chicken and 1/3 plate of papaya salad. That said, the salad is pleasantly sweet, sour and spicy (they don't skimp on the 'spicy'). While I personally prefer more papaya, the grilled chicken is very flavourful, juicy and lightly smoky.
The stir fried chinese broccoli is the highlight amongst other dishes. I recommend having it with a small side serve of jasmine rice. The warm, fragrant and pillowy mound of jasmine rice perfectly complements the crispy pork texture, the crunchy greens and oyster sauce.
The pad thai is authentic, but it would be nice if it had a bit more vegetables in it? Usually you get beansprouts, spring onions, maybe julienned pepper and coriander but while you can find some beansprouts, the dish is mainly rice noodles with a handful of fat prawns. That said, the flavour is authentically pad thai and the lemon on the side means I can have my pad thai not as sour as my dining companions like it.
Service is great and prompt, although there were some problem with the bill calculation. Will definitely be back.
Awesome food and very good and friendly staff... Would love to go back!!!The ambience is also nice and the food is reasonably priced and the best thing is they are open for lunch on Friday and Saturday!!!
The staff are so lovely and the service was great! They knew so much about the menu which I always appreciate as they can recommend the best dishes! The food was lovely will definitely eat there again!
The best thai restaurant I’ve ever tasted. Loved their Pad thai and their Massamam Curry is so delicious. Perfectly cooked! And also loved the ambiance and friendly staff too. Definitely coming back to try other dishes 😊
The Penang beef cheek and coconut rice are second to none. Staff are super friendly and prompt with the order always checked to ensure it is correct. Great restaurant.
Had Pad Thai, Fried Chicken Ribs and Chicken Fried Rice on delivery. Not bad for the taste. It would be great if they put the food in a cardboard takeaway container, the food didnt have air to breathe stuck up bulk inside this plastic container it made it soggy because of the soggy. Still it tastes great but it will better with an improved takeaway container (not to mention eco friendly).
Excellent Thai food! Best Massamun curry I’ve had in Melbourne, and the crispy pork belly with chinese broccoli was great too. We had some really tasty entrees too, the chicken ribs were especially good. Low spice levels.
My only complaint was they were using some pretty strong cleaning products out back while we ate. It got up the nostrils a bit.
As a Thai food lover, this is easily the best Thai in the west. Great food, great service, great prices. Tom's Thai will be my new weekly Thai spot.
Been to Tom's Thai twice now. First time was take away, second time was dining in. Seriously happy that Seabrook finally has an authentic Thai restaurant. Staff are very friendly. It was my dad's birthday today and he wanted to celebrate at a local restaurant so I suggested this place... and I could not be happier with the food. Look at the photos! Well above what you would expect from a local suburban restaurant. The pork belly was my favourite, crispy and the broccoli was sweet in the oyster / garlic sauce, that's not to say I didn't like the others, they were awesome too! Will definitely try other dishes next time.
Very nice cosy place to eat at. We had the papaya salad, pad thai and the spicy chicken stir fry. The food was very flavoursome and not full of oil unlike some other places. The service was very good!we will definitely make this a family favourite!
Tried the Pad Paik Khing Moo Krob and the flavours were amazing! It tastes very authentic, with generous serving sizes and extremely helpful host. Also had the Roast Duck Roti which was delicious, very more-ish. We will be returning and I look forward to eating my way through their menu.
First time at this restaurant and it will not be the last.
For entree between 3 people we had one serving each of the curry puffs, chicken spring rolls, satay chicken skewers and roast duck roti. For mains my companions each had the massaman curry and I had the crispy pork belly with chinese broccoli and garlic oyster sauce. We also each had a serving of the coconut rice.
The food was absolutely delicious, beautiful flavours and the size of the servings were decent.
The decor was nice and understated and the staff were very attentive and friendly.
I recommend trying this restaurant to anyone that likes Thai food.
Awesome food and wonderful hospitality. These guys are on to a winner. Have been there twice already and will definitely save as favourite local food spot.
Excellent food and beautiful restaurant, I love the homemade dumplings and roti duck it's amazing. And the main course out standing and a good portion. We will be back! 😀
The best penang curry i have ever had authentic tai food that we found in seabrook beautiful food and lovely service, i will definitely be coming back for sure
Yum yum yum. Great to have another Thai place in the neighborhood.
Found the food really good portion size and the staff very friendly. The coconut rice was really delicious however the eat in prices were a little expensive. But definetely worth it.
Tom's pork belly and beef cheek take over three hours of careful preparation, and his curry pastes are all home-made. This love and attention is evident in every mouthful - the food here is absolutely delicious.
We sampled a number of entrees, a salad, two mains and dessert and every dish was infused with colour, flavour and texture. The fried chicken was perfection, and the pork belly was crisp, tender and just beautiful - I am a huge lover of pork belly and this is some of the best that I have ever had. The beef cheek melted in the mouth and the curry sauce was wonderful, rich and full of flavour.

Amazingly fresh and flavoursome food! The staff were lovely, polite and so helpful also! Especially catering for our large group of 10! Definitely will be back!!
Good things come in threes. Tom's thai had wonderful service, excellent decor and great food.
If you like the popular fresh chilli and are after something just as good in a more intimate setting, look no further.
The masaman curry was delicious; chock full of chicken and potato and plenty of curry. Check it out.

For a new local startup, Tom's Thai was just he most delicious Thai food we have had in a long time. We even got to meet Tom (and his lovely wife)! There was a group of 20 plus of us and our food was all served quickly. Cannot complain and will definitely be back! Give the local business a go and you will definitely be pleased with the Tom's Thai experience
The green chicken curry was amazing, and so was the roti, but the crispy pork belly dish (apologies for not remembering the name) was too salty. Even with rice or roti the salty taste was still too strong for my personal taste. The ambience was so aesthetic and clean, even the plates and cups matched the overall "vibe" of the place. The staff were also nice.
Communication skill is average, Customer Service is good, wait time for food was low and Food taste and flavour is good. I recommend the pork belly dish and coconut rice
The tastiest Thai in town!!
I’ve been coming here for a few years now, more so over the last couple of years because it is AMAZINGLY tasty thai!
The coconut rice is the tastiest coconut rice I’ve ever had (I like a rich coconut taste) and the kana moo krob is super delicious (and our favourite). Paired with the Gai Zapp and you can’t go wrong!
We live in Footscray and we will ALWAYS go out of our way to come here and eat.
Forever customers, we hope to always support you!!

As a long time lover of Thai food, I was truly blown away by the quality of food and service here. Coming here to celebrate a special occasion, I expected a good service- but this went above and beyond my expectations. The lady attended to me the whole time (2 hours plus), constantly topping up water, serving extras and asking if I wanted anything else. I've been to other restaraunts and Thai restaurants where you're given a menu snd left to your own devices. Not here 😊 Also, the food was delicious and truly authentic. A BIG plus. I ordered the Massuman curry with chicken and prawns, and the level of spice and flavour was a melt in your mouth experience 🥰🥰 The meat was very nice too. I've had many Massamun curries in my time- restaraunt, friends cook and store bought. Mostly they were too mild, buttery, or greasy. Some were too runny, too many vegetables or too watered down. This one was just PERFECT 🥰🥰🥰 Filling, just the right texture, and the taste was authentic Thai (not too greasy/ take away or Westernised). Their Naan bread bread was equally as filling for an entree and surprisingly thick. I would definitely order both of these again. The vegetable spring rolls were also a tastebud pleaser, as was their spicy chicken and peanut sauce. All in all, a lovely restaraunt with authentic flavours and great tasty dishes.
A great place for Thai food. We ordered several different dishes and shared them. No complaint, the service was great, I had some beer, BYO is also accepted. Would recommend that place.
