We popped in for a quick bite before a bottomless cocktail session at a nearby bar. The restaurant was empty as it was about 3.30pm on a Saturday afternoon. There is a seeming never ending supply of seating - This restaurant is really quite large. Therefore large groups could easily be catered for. Our table for two was situated near the window with views of the beautiful building across the street.
Hubby and I shared a few items off the menu. The crab and prawn spring rolls were yummy but for me the Banh mi was a stand out. Flavourful in a crisp warm bun...yum! Everything was also very reasonably priced.
Unfortunately the bathroom was located downstairs so if you have mobility problems you would find it difficult to navigate the two sets of stairs, but considering the state of the bathroom - that may be a good thing 🤔 In fairness I am hopeful that they just had not had a chance to clean them yet after the lunch time rush.
Anyway, we enjoyed the food and the price. We will definitely pop in again if we are hankering for a Vietnamese fix when we are next down near Southern Cross Station.

Super friendly staff and a delicious filling pho.
Visited this place few weeks back, tried Bao-Kep with lemongrass chicken filling, rice paper rolls with BBQ pork and Banh Mi with Lemon grass chicken. All the items were so flavorful and really good. Must try place specially for the great Banh Mi they serve.
A nice Vietnamese eatery with a select range of dishes.
Freshly made rice paper rolls, i tried their best selling roast pork. Flavoursome and well packed.
Grilled hanoi pork and apple is flavoursome. The apple compliments the roasted pork .
Crispy tofu is well paired with the vegies. Probably my favourite.
Best to eat it when bought or the rice paper cant get tough.
The hoisin sauce is great.
I ordered a bbq chicken vermicelli noodle salad for lunch through MealPal. The girl at the counter was super friendly and the atmosphere inside was very welcoming (cute decorations and good music). The noodle salad tasted great and the portion size was perfect. Overall, I’d say this is a good affordable lunch choice.
One of my fav!! Staffs are friendly and helpful. No need any words for Pho here. A-ma-zing!!! Highly recommended!!!! Oh don’t forget to order a Vietnamese coffee ca phe sua da. Thanks guys for such an amazing service!
We ordered a pork and prawn spring roll for entree, bun bo hue and bbq chicken rice dish for main dish. The bun bo hue's stock was flavourful with heaps of beef. The bbq chicken rice came with a dressing for rice which was very yummy, and the soup had an amazing smell.
We also ordered vermicelli noodle salad and two spicy soft shell crab banh bao keps to finish up, basically rice burgers with fried crab, sweet chilly sauce and salad. They were crunchy and tasty due to the fried crab and sweet chilly.
Customer service was nice and the decoration looks so romantic at night. Very satisfied ❤️ bun bo hue is not a very well known Vietnamese dish but very flavourful and slightly spicy so strongly recommend this one 👌👌👌
Banh Mi is delicious, so is the poached chicken goi salad. The pricing is pretty decent too and the restaurant is well presented. Staff are very nice and helpful which makes for a pleasant experience.
Can say this is a superb choice if you want a good bang for your bucks. I ordered Bánh mì combo for lunch and it is the best I have tasted so far.

After a disappointing breakfast and a satisfying snack I was ready for a decent lunch so I went to Dot Spot Vietnamese cafe / bakery on Bourke Street... and that is exactly what I got. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Banh Mi roll and some pork and prawn spring rolls as well as a Vimano (Hope I spelled that right) soy coconut drink. Everything was delicious, the roll tasted great the spring rolls were very nice and filling hell even the presentation was awesome. Customer service was great, the girl at the counter was very nice and friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back there and try the Pho and other things. Can't recommend it enough :) In fact you could say when it comes to quality this place Dots the i's and crosses the t's and that a Banh Mi roll here definitely hits the Spot... okay enough puns from me hehe :)
Highly recommended by a friend and an interesting menu in place called Dotspot. Loved the place, the vibe, really friendly staff, tasty food and … they do great coffee. Definitely be returning to try more of their yummy dishes!
Not sure when this place popped up, but I'm glad it did. I tried a bowl of pho. The broth was decent and there was a good meat to noodles ratio. It was served within a few minutes even during a peak eating time.
I'd say my experience was pleasant.
Had a Pho and it was very tasty and fresh. I enjoyed the atmosphere so much I added two rolls (lemongrass beef) and they didn't disappoint either.
The most affordable and one of the best places for breakfast in Melbourne. Went to this place multiple times during my Melbourne stay. Good food, good coffee with great prices.
Amazing.. I customized the breakfast Bahn Mi to what it should be, BBQ pork and egg instead of bacon. Not sure if I got lucky but the bread was delivered 2mins before opening so it was incredibly fresh. Perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The iced coffee was sweet, but it was as expected as it is always served sweet in Vietnam. I'm Def keen to come back to try the Pho
Lunch sets are great value and pho by the bowl is also super cheap. It’s best to avoid coming during peak lunch hour as it gets very busy. Pho is quite tasty but I did not really like the spring rolls. If you get the lunch set the iced coffee is pre made with condensed milk (the traditional Vietnamese style) so it might be a bit sweet for some people. Overall, quite a good place to come for a quick bite and highly recommended for a reasonably priced, no-fuss meal.

Very good service. The man who served us was very friendly and accomodating. The barbeque pork with sauce on a bed of rice was delicious and by far my favourite.
The setting was so pleasant with the two murials setting a pleasant tone, the decor was lovely and everything was clean and fresh.
We will definitely visit again.
