So Melbourne is renowned for speciality coffee. Which is great if you only drink coffee in day light hours. Then it becomes slim pickings and your best bet for a coffee hit which is of decent value is 7-11 $1 coffee because at least you know what you're going to get.
Enter Doc Martin. It's 6:30pm on a cold Saturday night, I see a mythos one grinder and la marzocco in the window so I had high hopes that I could actually get a decent cup of coffee with fresh grind. Lo and Behold the coffee was excellent! And for providing excellent coffee outside traditional speciality cafe core hours I feel this is very worthy of a 5/5. Thanks once again. Will definitely return

Love the decor in here very classic and elegant which matches the lovely end of town that it’s on. Coffee is very rich and almond milk compliments it very well
Could not recommend this bar highly enough. Apart from an amazing selection of original cocktails it will also make pretty much any cocktail you can name. The service is cheerful and the bar staff knowledgable and entertaining: Brilliant atmosphere for an after work drink and a great start to the weekend!

I rarely write reviews just about coffee, but I had here the best takeaway coffee I had in the last two months. I popped up here just because I had an early appointment nearby and this was the only place in Collins St open that early. I needed any coffee, really. I had a large flat white. I was expecting what you usually get with large takeaway, a milky concoction with little taste of coffee unless you pay for an extra shot. First sip, and wow. Great coffee, it tasted of coffee, medium-plus strength, no bitterness, the flavour was complex and interesting. I drink my coffee without sugar, so it was great. This was also the first coffee I had in a cafe after a long holiday overseas, and it reminded me of how great the coffee culture is in Melbourne. We should be proud of it and not take it for granted. I didn't have any cash with me that morning, so I asked if I could use my card to pay just for the coffee without having to buy anything. No problem. This people don't know me of anything, so this visit was absolutely great.
I always been a big fans at the atmosphere fill with the smell of coffee. This place definitely did it, was on a busy day running around different office and went in for a coffee to go. Great coffee done by the really friendly barista.
Perfect negroni. Great selection of vermouths and bitters. Highly recommend if you're into these types of drinks and cocktails. Definitely coming back
A very warm and welcoming place, we happened to walk in here for breakfast when it was nearly time for them to get over with it. Yet they agreed to serve us breakie which gets them a absolute five star for the service and warmth. Coffee was mindblowingly amazing. The egg benedict was an average I would say nothing stand out however very quiet and controlled ambience in terms of noise factor which of late has been my issue with coffee shops and cafes.
Great coffee and muffin - selection of morning muffins etc could be larger; maybe some chocolate crossings even :)

Very trendy restaurant with great food. There were interesting menu options and everything was fresh. We were a little disappointed with the hostess/ service. We were made to eat outside even through the restaurant was not full at the time because we did not have a reservation, but when we tried to make a reservation online earlier in the day Open Table was not working.
Very friendly staff and excellent food. Great service with meal presented very well. Stopped here for a light lunch, beetroot tart with feta and a green salad, with my puppy. We sat outside with a heater lit especially for us, and was made to feel very welcome. Excellent coffee, Pablo & Rusty, and was even given a bowl of water for puppy.
Espresso martinis to the T!!!
Waiter had awesome attitude and was part of the good vibes here.

Great brunch place with outdoor seatings. Plenty of yummy options of non and alcoholic beverages and brunch. Great southern hospitality service.
Great place to catch up with the crew for drinks. Wide variety and although a little on the high side its worth it.
