Ordered my usual Sweet chilli shredded pork with steamed rice for lunch and it is so tasty! I can never get bored of it. The sauce was absolutely delicious.

Very good ! Really better than Chinatown's Chinese restaurant .Worth a try . We stuck with the dumplings , both steamed and pan fried and were impressed by thw high quality ot both . Good service and fair prices only added to our enjoyment . We definitely go back .

Dumplings are always fresh and delicious ! Come here all the time and the service is fantastic . Especially love the pan fried Chicken and prawn dumplings . I ate the wok fried vegetables with steamed rice this noon . Still great as always .

Sweet and sour pork with capsicum and pineapple was cut up into bite sized pieces, and the batter was crispy and crunchy!
Despite the pan fried chicken and prawn dumplings being smaller than I had expected, I quite liked how the dumpling skin was thick whilst the filling was juicy and flavourful.
Chicken skewers were alright, but nothing too special. Definitely good value though, as one serving comes with 3 massive skewers.
Cannot fault this place. Really good Chinese food, decent prices (especially at lunch when it's even cheaper). Friendly staff as well.
Another 5/5 local giving me no reason to cook (2 more just on that corner area alone).

I have never seen such a good Chinese restaurant, will not bring a feeling of only Chinese people can eat Chinese food, the meals are to my taste, very good, I like very much, often filled the guest at noon, amazing

Great spot, just off St Kilda road! The staff here are lovely and the food is just what you want from a dumpling bar! Very tasty :). Perfect for a midweek meal!

Tasty food and comfortable environment. People like me who enjoys Chinese flavour should definitely give them a try. What I commend most is the dumplings there. Chicken and prawn dumplings are awesome. There would also be vegetarian foods. I believe it is the best Chinese restraunt in the block.
I came here and tried the fried pork dumpling, the taste is delicious, however the dumpling size is small for me!
The place also comfortable and clean enough to have chit and chat here

A great restaurant！I strongly recommend you guys to try the dumplings in there,especially the pan fried pork dumpling and beef and lamb dumpling.Also,the special fried rice is scrumptious. The GongBao crunchy chicken is very AMAZING which I try everytime! Service is thoughtful.

Good food. Excellent staff. Cool bar. The food was so delicious that I have ever tasted 🤗. Went there with friends for lunch. It is in a great location but was not crowded.
It's a new place that has opened up a couple of weeks ago and my hubby and I decided to try it out.
The atmosphere is nice and inviting and I really like the decor! Warm and stylish.
We have had seafood soup and some dumplings for starters which were all done very well. The dumplings were very light and almost melt in your mouth tasty.
For mains I had the crispy duck leg in orange sauce and husband had the meat in Szechuan pepper sauce which he really liked.
I have asked for their dessert options but due to them being still newly opened they didn't have anything yet, the staff were very apologetic over this fact.
The service was excellent, nothing to fault.
We even got a few more dumplings to take away with us.
This will be our favourite pit stop, I hope they keep the place as good as it is now.
A new restaurant worth going to for some great menu items. The service was very friendly and always with smile.
The pan fried pork and vegi dumplings have great feedback from friends and definitely will be back for the other dumplings.
Sichuan style beef and gongbao crunchy chicken is really different from other Chinese restaurant and had its special flavour. Will be back for other signature dishes for sure.

The pan fried dumpling cost more time than steam dumpling, but they are tasty and worth waiting. Servicing here is pretty nice, although I asked for the wine licence, and I was told its on the way, but besides I think it's a nice place for friends meeting.
The fruity honey chicken and beef salad are my favourite, as well as the squids. Beef with peppercorn sauce is little salty for me, but it's really nice to have together with steam rice.
Nice experience here and worth try.
As a Chinese foodie，I have to say that the food of this restaurant is really good，especially chicken and prown dumplings，i really like it！it is a good place for lunch and dinner if you like chinese cuisines！
The quality of the dishes are really good and attention to details.Start of with the fired bifengtang spiced calamari, i find the coating is perfect, the calamari cook just right.The shanhai-style pork belly , I think this is the best pork dish i ever had. It is full of flavour.The sweet and sour fish, although it is a simple dish, but the fish is soft ,very pleasant to eat. The sweet and sour sauce is well balanced.Staff member is very attentive, polite and great service.Overall dining experience is great, dishes are reasonably priced . I will definitely go back again.

Food very fresh and cooked to perfection showing off the brightly coloured vegetables.
Dishes were delicious - serving sizes weren't bad and the service was good too.

With the name 'celestial dumpling bar' at first look of the menu, I was thinking hmm with only a small selection of dumplings on a large menu and no alcohol in site!
Alas after ordering the duck lettuce wraps and three options of dumplings I was pleasantly content.
The food was delicious and well priced plus fast happy service so will be back, also they will have their licence in about two months! Looking forward to more variety of dumplings!
So this is a new restaurant that has opened up around our little food bubble we have here! I ordered a takeaway lunch here today of Pan Fried Chicken and Prawn dumplings and braised black pepper beef on rice!
Both were absolutely fantastic and reasonably priced, service was fast (Even with first week jitters) and the whole operation looks smooth (and beautifully decorated!) and served with a smile!Oh and extra points for decent takeaway packaging :)
Only slight criticism would be the variation on the menu, I can see that they are going for "Not your average Chinese" and some of the dishes on the "Eat In" menu look amazing, however for a restaurant with "Dumplings" in it's name it needs a wider range (Especially as the Sichuan place around the corner on Park St has a similar dumpling menu). Also I hope the "Bar" part becomes a reality soon as its great having a few beers with your evening meal!
All in all - very impressed - welcome to our little food bubble :)
The food was really delicious!! The staff was really nice and friendly. Had amazing Sweet Corn Soup, Veg Spring Rolls, Steamed Veg Dumplings, Fried Veg Dumplings, and Veg Fried Rice! All the orders were really nice, freshly made, and very delicious! Unexpectedly wonderful! Would visit again for sure!
Been here a few times now and it never disappoints! Food is fresh, tasty and served quickly. Very busy during lunch which is also a great sign. Staff are friendly and service is top notch :)
Nice environment, a bit crowded but very clean. The food is good (authentically flavoured but lesser ingredients) considering its price. I went on Friday and all the main plates were only $10. Very friendly staff and awesome service. Definitely a good place to go alone or in small groups.
What a great example of beautiful Chinese food and fantastic dumplings. Seriously 10 out of 10. Had the Celestial fried rice, such a refreshing, delicious and non- greasy meal. It continued with the lightly coated, crispy chicken satay and the Yum dumplings. Excellent value restaurant. Will recommend to all!

Yum! Great atmosphere, fast service, good prices, comfiest seats, clean and most important, delicious large portions. Great food. Cannot fault this place. Highly recommended. No bill splitting but at least they take credit card payments (a rarity in small Asian restaurants). Definitely coming back here.
