they have the BEST shanghai fried rice cakes with pork and veg i’ve ever had in melbourne. full of ingredients like cabbage, carrot, black fungus and so tasty!! really good portion size for the price and they accept sosure. also tried their wontons which were super nice and their steamed pork dumplings, but nothing can beat dumpling empire in glen waverley for dumplings hahaha
We love coming here whenever we feel like Chinese food.
Service is fairly quick but can be crazy busy in peak times where you have to wait for a table.
Tonight we arrived late so got a table and service quickly. We ordered chicken and tea tree mushroom, and veggie dumplings.
Both dishes were really tasty, however one drawback was that the dumplings were cooked in a rush. Half were close to burnt and the other half had no colour on them. Quite visually unappealing but nevertheless tasted so good.
Will continue to come back here for years to come.
Such a great little place with well priced Ramen. The weather wasn't looking to great so I felt like a nice hot spicy ramen. Great service here aswell.
Good food, generous serving sizes and efficient service. Recommend the pan fried dumplings, fried pork ribs with chilli and garlic and combination fried rice. They provide free tea.
Great food, wasn’t too busy inside but there were lots of takeaway orders. Food came out quickly and everything was cooked fresh. The beef in the noodles was a bit chewy but everything else was great flavours and texture

I normally head into the city for dumplings but this is a great place to get your dumpling cravings! They are always really busy but I’ve never had to wait for a table or long for food. The chicken & prawn wonton in chilli and peanut sauce are my all time favourite! Everything that I’ve tried is pretty good and so cheap too. Staff can be a bit rude sometimes but that wouldn’t stop me from coming back
We got here at 6pm, it wasn’t busy at that time which was good.
The food was really nice, we really liked the dumplings and I liked the wonton noodle soup. Good food at a decent price.
We would definitely return here again.

My girlfriend and I shared a plate of chicken and prawn pan fried dumplings which tasted great.
She had a wonton noodle soup and I had peppered beef with steamed rice and vegetables.
We both agreed the food was very good and we'll return to try other dishes.

Excellent food, excellent value. I've now been there several times in the past two weeks, at peak times, at non-peak times, and every time, the service was prompt and efficient and I never had to wait more than 5-10 mins max for my food. The quality is outstanding with the items I've tried - pan fried pork buns, shanghai fried noodles, fried rice noodles, and the spicy beef soup.
Nice little place, really good dumplings and fried buns. Love them, the stired noodles and rice are alright. Reasonably prices around $10-$15 per meal. My hubby ate 1 fried buns before I could get a shoot.
Stick to the dumplings. Their dumplings are the best - pork/chicken and prawn/veggie. I find those the most worth it for their price! It packs up real crowded during dinner time and the staff may not be the most welcoming with so many things to Handle. Be prepared to wait - or at least share a table!

Dumplings were served efficiently n the food is so valuable! Less than 10 for a bowl of noodle or dumplings which were juicy. Staff were friendly and welcoming n the atmosphere n experience was warm like a family meal:)
Great pan fried pork dumplings at an amazing price. Spicy fried rice also good. Great quick family lunch or dinner. Can be hard to get a seat sometimes but takeaway is good.

Recommended sliced pork belly in spicy garlic sauce. It's not too bad.
Mongolian feed was very nice actually.
Stir fried green beans was way too salty.
But still too much MSG when we specifically asked none of it.

Great portions, great ambience and great food. Haven't been to a place that provided such great value for money in a long time. All the dishes we had were really authentic and delicious.
Came here to grab a quick lunch during rush hour and was pleasantly surprised. Walking inside, this restaurant is instantly better than other Chinese ones as they put a lot of effort into their decor, making it have a very warm atmosphere. I ordered some pan fried dumplings which were really tasty - not too oily and a hint of ginger inside. I did not expect to find such nice food within the local shopping centre so was really glad to come here out of all the other restaurants. The price is also ridiculously cheap, so I will definitely be back to try more!
It's really great value for money here! Although they are always pretty busy it's a good place for a quick week day lunch. The service is pretty average but the food is always delicious.
We always look for a good restaurant near the Pinewood Waverley Cinema for a meal before or after a movie. Ramen & Dumpling House located not far from the cinema and I was pleasantly surprised with the food and services provided. The restaurant is small and very busy during lunch time. The pot of green tea was very welcoming.
We ordered the “Pot Sticker” or Gyoza. The pan fried pork dumplings were made on site and the pastry were light with crispy base. The dumplings were not oily. These dumplings bring back very fond childhood memories. My late mother used to make them as snack or lunch for us when we were kids. This is the second restaurant that met my expectations of a good home made dumplings.
We also ordered fried rice noodles with beef. It was tasty and nice as I expected. We have to try some of their other dumplings made on site.
Ramen & Dumpling House opened up in 2016 and it has been a very welcomed addition to the Pinewood dining scene. It does a roaring dine-in and takeaway trade and is popular among the local office workers and residents. Unlike the plethora of Chinese 'cheap eats' eateries in nearby Glen Waverley, Ramen & Dumpling House is clean, relatively spacious (though you'd still be rubbing elbows with nearby diners) and bright.

I think this Ramen & Dumpling House is better than the one in Clayton. Their version of salt & pepper chicken ribs are more how I like it, and the service is more comfortable too.
I've been here 4 times now and I've never been disappointed.
There are literally hundreds of restaurants like this in Melbourne but this place looks like there has been a higher degree of effort put into the decor, the furniture and the presentation of the meals as well.
Prices are dirt cheap. I love the piping hot noodle soups. Generous portions for under $10.00 you just can't beat. Admittedly, I have never been there when it's really busy, but I've found the service warm and friendly. Food has always come out fast and I'd really like to take the family here soon.
This place is probably setting the standard for fast noodles and dumplings in the area at the moment.
