Love this tiny but cozy restaurant. Have been here for many times. Cheese bulgogi series are the best.
No one would think a chicken parma in a korean restaurant will be a good idea, but this restaurant has proven me wrong! It was really special in its own way, and very delicious. Even my australian boyfriend agreed (tho he said the ones from pubs are still better š).
Their beef bulgogi set was really nice and filling as well. Other than that, during lunch time they gave away self-serve soups. Iād definitely be back for more when I crave some korean lunch dishes.
*If I could give 1/2 stars, I would rate this 3.5.*
I've had dinner here twice and to be honest, if it wasn't for Zomato, I wouldn't have known this place existed. It's located in a lane quite close to Southern Cross station and unless you live or work nearby, there is probably a slim chance you wouldn't have known about this place either.Ā
It is quite a small restaurant so if you're attending with a group of people, I'd recommend booking. During my first visit, I had the Samgye Tang with Kalguksu (Ginseng Chicken) and whilst the ginseng was quite mild in flavour, it was still quite nice and the serving was generous.
During my second visit, my friends and I ordered the Pork Kimchi Soup with rice (yes, we were all craving it at the same time) and to share, we had the Kimchi Pancake. The Pork Kimchi soup was one of the better soups I've had of this variety. There was so much kimchi (I love kimchi) and the pork they used wasn't dry or too fatty like they usually are in most places and overall, the serving was pretty decent. The accompanying rice is also better than most places as they use has some black rice in it (it makes the rice look purple). However, it's biggest flaw was the MSG. We were all so thirsty afterwards because seeing as it's a soup, you have to drink it!
The kimchi pancake was great and came in a large serving size. The batter was thick (that's my personal preference) and the ingredients inside were plentiful.
Best seafood pancake in the world. Fish flakes, crispy, scallops, shrimp, corn, squid.
Ginseng chicken also fantastic. Rice cake, soft bone, soft chicken, flavourful.
Must go again as this is exceptional.
Best dumplings I have ever ordered.
There is no cold needle soup in winter menu!
They just cook it for me, never ever any restaurant spoil me like this.
And itās is the best cold noodle soup I have ever taste.
I have to say the trading staff is super friendly to me. Nice girl!
Innovative Korean eatery in the CBD!
The place is located among other restaurants, it's not too big so could feel bit crampy, but wasn't uncomfortable. At first there was only one person working so it was hard to call her up, but then there were two half way our meal, both were really nice. Food took a while, but not too long.
My my, the Hae Jang Guk was so so generous I swear it feeds 2 people at the least. The meat was soft and just lots of bone marrow yummm. To be honest I've never had this dish before so i couldn't really judge, but I really enjoyed the soup it was hearty and just the right level of saltiness, with a hint of spicy. There were also potatoes and cabbages to compliment the meal. The rice was the mixed grain, though unfortunately wasn't chewy like what Korean rice was supposed to be.
My friend's spicy seafood soup (haemul sundubu jiggae) was okay though, we find the spiciness a bit overpowering. The filling was quite generous though.Ā
Kimchi fries was yummy, the fries itself was the normal shoestring, fried pretty well. But I love the kimchi, cheese and spicy mayo combination, the flavors just worked so well together
Overall I'd come back for their other dishes as it has good potential but could definitely improve!
PS Only side dish was kimchi which was on the spicier side (could use more fermenting)
( follow for more!āØ)

Been here for couple of times with my friends, i have to say this place always make me feel satisfied in term of food, service and value.
We used to order beef fried rice , bulogi ( we didnt have any pictures of them sadly), and they are all delicious and good proportions. Then we decided to try something unsual which were seadfood tteokbokki and chicken parmesan. And we had no complaints about them. They were tasty and fresh. Also they offer free miso soup and kimchi at lunch so a good point for this weather.
The customer service always is on point even on busy days. The staff are really friendly and attentive. They checked on us quite often to ensure we good.
The restaurant was clean and neat. But the set up of table was not really comfortable for us. But overall we were very happy.
New Korean restaurant down Rose Lane serves a wide array of standard Korean fare and non-standard (Korean chicken parmigiana). Prices comparatively are slightly higher however the portions are larger. Complimentary miso soup at the counter and we were also given some kimchi to pick at.
Weather had been quite temperamental the past few days so I got some gamjatang (pork bone soup). It is also commonly known as haejangguk (hangover soup), I can assure you however I was feeling fine. It takes a few extra minutes to prepare but it was worth it. A mountain of soft pork and a bin to discard the bones. The meat is super tender but the best part is the protein in between the bones and the bone marrow. The soup is very hearty with cabbage and potatoes, accompanying is rice in which I like to take a spoonful and soak it in the broth. Difficult for one to finish it all.
I sampled both my friend's dishes and I was equally satisfied. Solid Korean eatery.
AMAZING!! Best spicy chicken Iāve ever had, crisp cold fresh beer, so glad I found you hidden gem!
I will be back, highly recommend, everything is delicious!
Great range of Korean food! Location is convenient and staff are super friendly :) Recommend the chicken corn cheese and the kimchi fries. Prices are also very reasonable.
Mandu : š Great
Sizzling Cheese Bulgogi : š Amazing
Assorted Seafood Fries : š Amazing
Cass Beer : š Amazing
Open till late, Korean Table was a great place to come for late night eats. Highly recommend the Sizzling Cheese Bulgogi. We got it with beef and mild sauce and it was delicious. The assorted seafood fries were so perfectly fried with a golden crispy crumb on everything. The Mandu dumplings were also very delicious and tasted better when dipped in the sauce that came with it.
Korean table is a fairly new restaurant on Rose lane, near Southern Cross station. I tried the Kimchi seafood spaghetti with cream sauce, and it was so tasty! Thereās a lot of seafood in the dish, plenty of sauce, and the kimchi can be tasted as well. I originally thought that I had no problem finishing the entire thing, but I underestimated the amount in the plate because it REALLY fills you up. The service is alright, as itās mostly self-service. You have to order at the counter, and thereās a āwater stationā in the corner where you can fill up on water, as well as cutlery and tissues. Youāre also able to serve yourself some miso soup if youād like. The restaurant itself has a nice modern vibe to it, and was quite popular when we visited.
A good place to come for a cheap-ish late night meal. Apparently it is owned by the same people as Rolling Nori a few doors down and the menu features affordable and well-portioned dishes. Ordered the kimchi seafood carbonara spaghetti and this actually tasted a lot like the western carbonara - the sauce was super creamy. Liked how there was plenty of seafood in it - incredible value for the price tag (around $16). The crispy rice soup bowl was also good and probably a better choice for winter, as it is served hot and warms you up quickly. I am personally not a huge fan of crispy rice but the soup was nice and pretty light. The seafood pancake was also delicious and we devoured it within minutes.
What delicious Korean food! I loved the bibimbap. Lots of fresh ingredients and the sauce is spicy and delicious. Couldnāt say anything bad about it. Their menu is very exciting - they even have korean ramen which I will have to try one day! Plus itās a very cheap Korean restaurant. The dishes are mainly $13 and $14. What a bargain.
Went with my bf, very nice Korean food. Prices are low compared to the quality and size of the food. Kimchi pancake is so yummm. The stir fried glass noodles even served with soup!
**3.5 stars** I came here with my Korean friend. We ordered the ābibimbapā (mixed rice steam bowl) and āLA-galbi with riceā. They were definitely enough for two people. The food itself was above average, with the highlight being the bibimbap. Donāt forget to add the fermented red pepper paste (a.k.a gochujang sauce) that they give to you in a squeeze bottle separately - the flavour (not-too spicy) makes the bowl that much better.
Given that this new restaurant isnāt that big and we came in at a time when it wasnāt busy, I was surprised at how difficult it was to get a staffās attention. Also note that the water is at the counter, which you need to go get yourself.
The environment itself is modern and clean. Both wood and concrete meet in interior design - where each element has its own effect, creating a warm and cosy ambience.
All-in-all, I found this place to be good.
Very tasty food, have been taking away and eating in at Korean Table since they opened and have enjoyed their food immensely. The Sundubu was yummy, with generous portions of seafood and rice.
Been here plenty of times! Have found the portion sizes to be great, even better if youāre dining in. Taste is full of flavor! Great variety of food too. Always a bonus when the menu has pictures so you know what youāre going to get!!
Ordered:
- Beef Bulgogi Burger and Chips $14.90
The food is really reasonably priced and delicious! I had the bulgogi burger and it came with a really generous serve of fries and my friend said he really liked the bibimbap he had. The waitress was also lovely and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. I canāt wait to come here again!!
Nice place to have a meals! The meals all come huge portion!
Good to share or individual when u really hungry! Another new place to try
Simple menu, simple dish, dish quite taste!
Should order the dumpling (mandu) they are real handmade! Not the frozen one!
The dumpling taste really juicy!
Their food is pretty good but as someone who is not korean I don't know how to eat the hotpot. like when to add the ramen noodles and cheese? I asked the staff but her explanation was vague... so end up eating it wrong. I wanted to experience the authentic way of eating it. And if you're not into spicy food don't get that hotpot!!
But their bulgogi in stone bowl is quite good!
I wanna go back and try the other food that they have!
Korean table, very good Korean restaurant.
The restaurant offers a wide choice of starters, dishes (spicy or not), soup, Korean specialties.
Thereās something for everyone.
But if you come here, take their biggest dish, a plate filled with Korean fried chicken, available in 2 sizes (medium or large) with the sauce of your choice .
The dish is huge, and after that you wonāt be hungry, believe me! Itās delicious.
The atmosphere inside is quiet, but pleasant. The restaurant is nicely decorated.
I highly recommend you eat here!
Friendly staff, cute decor and great food!
The army stew was a bit pricey compared to some other places but was still tasty!
Great dinner spot to chill out and eat/chat with mates after uni or work.
I was surprised by their menu and the taste. My fav one is Korean Ramen !!! Omg Iāve been wanting this for so long. I also ordered the pork belly set. Itās a good amount for two people and everything was perfect for me. Maybe cuz I love Korean food so much and always want to try some authentic ones. I will definitely go the 2nd time and to order kimchi pasta.
Didnāt know what to expect but it was a a yummy surprise! Very reasonable price, staffs are patient and friendly, we didnāt book but got in just after lunch, the food top quality and very generous servings
And freshly cooked.
