Such a cute little space in Blackburn Square! Super cute decor, lovely staff and cosy tables. I had heard nothing but good things and we decided to come and check it out for a catch up! Some amazing vegan options on the menu! I had the pancakes and an almond milk latte and they were both delicious. My friends’ food was amazing as well! We stayed for a few hours and the staff were super friendly and attentive.

One of the best smoothie bowls I’ve ever had and honestly, worth the hour long travel 🤣
FOOD: I ordered the Peanut Butter Smoothie Bowl and after lusting for it and having no time to travel for an hour, I finally had the time - I made it a MISSION to come try Flour and Fern’s coveted smoothie bowl and it was so worth it 🤤 My favourite part of the entire smoothie bowl definitely had to be the magnum, I think mine was a mint chocolate chip one? And honestly, move over box Magnum’s because Flour and Fern has NAILED IT! It was $20 but it was such a big portion that it’s definitely worth every single penny! There was nothing about the smoothie bowl that was imperfect and as a peanut butter lover, this wasn’t overly peanut butter-y which was so good! This smoothie bowl was really balanced in terms of flavour and the toppings were really perfect!

I really really adore this smoothie bowl and if someone were to ask me if I’d travel an hour to try this again, I would honestly say yes
Travelled 40 minutes to get to this very cute and quaint cafe with the sweetest and friendliest staff members ! It was busy but they managed to serve us the most delicious food and it all looked absolutely gorgeous ! I can’t wait to go back and try more food from their menu when I’m in the neighbourhood soon 🧡✨
Popped in for breaky on the weekend and was not disappointed! Coffee & food was amazing and plated beautifully, the staff were all so nice and friendly and service was quick. There were so many yummy options on the menu to choose from I will definitely be back!!! ☺️🙌🏽
We’ve been to this cafe before and it’s a fair distance from our house, but some places are simply worth travelling for, worth visiting again and again and worth ordering the exact same dish every single time! This smoothie bowl is the absolute perfect combination of granola, peanut butter smoothie and fruit with a generous helping of peanut butter on the side! If you haven’t travelled to Berwick for this dish you’re missing out!!

Hidden little Café in Berwick more people should know about. It's a small Café, coffee and food are fabulous! The staff is super friendly and happy to recommend food in case you can't decide. Loved having brunch there and certainly will be back!

Flour and Fern is a gorgeous café in Berwick! It was well worth the 40 min drive for me, we had a great experience!
I was so excited to see VEGAN PANCAKES on the menu, and they were unique, delicious and healthy too! Grated beetroot in the batter made them a beautiful pink colour, and they were served with fresh fruit, syrup and chocolate.
I also tried a soy flat white which was great.
The service was amazing, and we loved the décor! Fresh flowers from the florist next door made the place even more beautiful!
I would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area!
This cafe is definitely worth the trip! Thanks a latte for having a lovely menu to pick from - too many choices! Featured are the poached eggs with pea, feta and zucchini fritters - crunchy, flavourful and the brightness from the cabbage underneath also made for a lovely texture. If you are more of a sweet person, these vegan pancakes with lovely fresh fruit went down a treat too. Such a warm and inviting cafe, staff are friendly and willing to accomodate, making for a delightful experience.

This place was really nice with a nice interior. I enjoyed the French toast a lot (I love sweet foods) and the chips were so worth it. So crispy, and only $7. The service was really good too. My only complaint is that the croquettes and poached egg dish was a little boring? The croquette wasn’t particularly great and an egg is an egg. Still enjoyable overall however.
Would definitely return again.
Me and my gf have been regulars at this cafe for a long time and the food is always great! We love their smoothies and the friendly service. The food and drinks are well worth the wait. Definitely recommend this cafe to everyone around the Berwick area!
Rarely do I find a cafe that has SO MANY OPTIONS on the menu. Thank you for providing a lot of vegetarian and vegan options whilst still being delicious. Prices were also reasonable, food was served in big portions and staff were friendly and attentive.

Fantastic little cafe with delicious, pretty food and great coffees and smoothies! I can’t stop coming back because I love this place so much! Sometimes the service can be a bit lacking or slow but this is rare when busy. Overall, fantastic and love this place lots!

We had been seeing pretty pictures of Flour & Fern on Instagram and decided that we had to try it out! Here’s what we experienced!
Smashed avocado on pumpkin bread - when the dish first came out, I was very pleased with what I saw! A large chunk of avocado spread served with beetroot hummus, feta, charred corn and thyme butter mushrooms (I love them)! The pumpkin bread was pretty crunchy and such a compliment to the avocado spread! The beetroot hummus and butter thyme mushrooms were such great ideas to add more flavor to this! Each bite kept me going back for more!
Red velvet pancakes with seasonal fruit and vegan gelato - when I saw this on the menu, I had to order it given my sweet tooth inclination and the fact that I’ve never tried vegan gelato before! The pancakes were so soft and fluffy and the selection of fruits with the vegan gelato was just amazing! The vegan gelato was like a popsicle which tasted like the real deal! Visually stunning and also very healthy!
Breakky board - I will let you see for yourself in the picture what was involved but all I gotta say was that this was my favorite as it had a large variety of nibbles which would fill you up just right! A very impressive selection which won my heart over the sweets!
Overall, we had such a wonderful time at Flours & Fern and would travel again to see them for more fun! 😎
Wonderful little cafe in the heart of Berwick. Great brunch spot with hip items on the menu. I ordered the Fried Chicken Bao, it was okay, but I expected the chicken to be bigger, juicier and crunchier.. it was a bit overcooked and dry. In saying that, all the other food people I went with ordered looked amazing. Maybe I just need to come back and try something else. Would be interesting to try the poke bowl and maybe one of their classic breakfast options.
Oh and my daughter who is allergic to dairy and egg had their Vegan Berry Muffin and she absolutely loved it! I had some too and completely agree. It was very delicious considering it is vegan. Very moist and delicious. Now I know where I can get her allergy free treats :)
We came into Flour and Fern the other day and loved our brunch meal. The presentation of all the foods and drinks is lovely and colourful.
We ordered the nourish bowl which consisted of a lot of healthy greens, juicy cherry tomatoes , halloumi, pickles, beetroot hummus and flavoursome mushrooms – a great healthy option.
The cauliflower filled roti bread was a dish that intrigued me a lot, the spices inside the bread was perfectly balanced, although this dish looked small, it was very filling
My favourite dish of the day was the cheese kransky breakfast hotdog, smothered with cheese it was sensational.

Great coffee and food. Will be back to try more of the menu! Staff were friendly and helpful. The cafe was full so they took my number and called me when a table was free. I deducted 1 point as it was noisy and lacking aesthetics and comfort. Will try for some bench seating next time!
I went for brunch and had the most amazing smoothie bowl in the history of smoothie bowls. Absolutely delicious! It was fresh with plenty of fruit and an insane amount of delicious toppings. I cannot wait to go back and have another one!

Flour & Fern is a lovely little cafe located in Blackburne Square in Berwick. It’s a nice relaxed place, with palm leaf wall paper down one side, it has a tropical feel to it which matches well with their menu.
Flour & Fern pride themselves on balance & create wholesome food that still tastes indulgent. I liked this philosophy and this is reflected in the food they serve.
For me the smoothies & juices were a standout, some really different fresh combinations which I really loved. We opted for the Watermelon cooler & the Mango Heaven, both of these were sorbet & ice based with fresh fruit & juice. Much lighter & fresher than most smoothies you find & they tasted divine.
I ordered the Rainbow Chakra Bowl with chicken & it was sensational. Full of flavour & colour, I loved the combination of fresh, cooked & pickled ingredients. It was also a generous serving & I barely got through it.
My friend ordered the Breakfast Hot Dog which I tried too & was delicious.
Flour and Fern have a great range of dishes on their menu, stunning smoothie bowls as well as a fantastic breakfast menu. I will have to visit again & try one of the smoothie bowls & definitely need another tropical smoothie too. The service was fast & friendly & this place is a hit with the locals. If you’re out in Berwick, this place is a little gem. Thanks so much for having me.

We were invited to Flour and Fern this morning and it was exceptional in every way. A bit off the beaten track but well worth the trip. The place was full upon our arrival and rightly so. Their menu was so intriguing I wanted to order five dishes. We ended up with three the peanut butter bowl, breakfast pizza and the rainbow chakra bowl though the Tim tam pancakes certainly tempted.
I started with a hydrate juice which was a deliciously refreshing summery blend of watermelon, pineapple and coconut water. Before long the nourish bowl was out in all its vibrant glory. Such a colourful generously jam packed bowl of goodness. A sizeable piece of perfectly cooked salmon was the star of the show (there is also the option for tofu or chicken).
Next out was the smoothie bowl which has to be the best I’ve ever had in all my experience as a long term smoothie bowl connoisseur. The peanut butter flavour was strong and it was so stunningly presented I just wanted to stare at it forever. All of their smoothie bowls are topped with delicious house made popsicles, dark chocolate, bananas and other seasonal fruit, coconut flakes, chocolate covered cranberries and granola. What a beauty
Then we had the breakfast pizza which combined all my favourites; avocado, vine tomatoes and feta on board everyone’s favourite carby Italian invention. This was another example of knockout presentation. The only damper on the day was that they had yesterday’s paper but the super friendly staff and phenomenal food more than compensated

Went here with my family yesterday and the experience was absolutely wonderful! The ambience was homely yet hip and young, each table had its own personal space, service was impeccable too! I had the smoothie bowl which was very substantial, nourishing and fresh while my family shared 2 Flour and Fern breakfasts. The serving sizes were just right and the quality of the produce was very high too. The ambience and service were all on point that morning and there’s really nothing I can fault about this beautiful cafe. Already looking forward to the next time I come back to this lovely joint!
Had the Tim Tam pancakes - they were massive! Could barely finish them; definitely well worth the money. Sweet potato chips and frita was great, too.
Received a latte when I ordered a cappuccino, but otherwise the coffee was good.
Cute cafe in the burbs that serves up a delicious breakfast/brunch. The cafe has a inner city suburb feel, and with the food being excellent, no need to travel all that way. Potato croquettes were excellent, they were perfectly crunchy, warm and flavorsome. Additionally, the mango smoothie is worth every penny, delicious and a decent size. If my meal would have been a tad bigger, this would get 5 stars.
The dishes served were generally very aesthetic and the location of the restaurant is great! It’s very pretty inside.
The waiting time for the food was a little long but the staff there was very welcoming and helpful. The food could be a little better though, we ordered the ‘Flour & Fern’, the Angus burger, the banana and berry smoothie bowl, and the chilli scrambled eggs. The flour and fern was placed in a very large tray and there just wasn’t enough food in the tray for it to look nice. The toast was also very toasted and hard to chew. The Angus burger has a side of fries and they were amazing. However, the Angus beef patty was a little on the dry side and there weren’t enough fillings/sauce to balance it out. The chilli scrambled eggs were average, and the smoothie bowl was probably the star of the meal. Out of everything, I would recommend the smoothie bowls.
My visit was just an average one which is why I rated it 3.5. You can get nice pictures though :)
Flour and Fern is a cosy neighbourhood cafe that caters well to the growing outer eastern suburb of Berwick. With a menu that features a range of healthy, wholesome options that utilities fresh ingredients, as well as catering to various dietary requirements, Flour and Fern is destined to become a locals favourite.
Went on a weekday for brunch with my boyfriend. Very relaxed, homely sort of atmosphere, comfy little booths were lovely. Had the red velvet pancakes and matcha smoothie bowl. Both were delicious, the pancakes were decadent and covered in fresh fruit, vegan ice-cream and thick maple syrup, and the smoothie bowl was refreshing with lots of crunchy granola and fruit - definitely worth the money. Finished off with almond chai latte and almond flat white which were equally as nice. Service was good. Only nitpicky issues were that there was no charge written next to almond milk on the menu but we ended up getting charged for it - not particularly surprising, but a little misleading. Otherwise really wonderful brunch, great value and cool space.
Such an amazing cafe for a brunch date, especially being in Berwick! The food is spectacular in the mixture of flavours, taste and presentation! The service is also really good and the staff are very friendly! Definitely will be coming back to try more of the menu!
Such a lovely little cafe located in berwick. Its simply styled and very welcoming from the staff. A great coffee was made with quite an elaborate menu with heaps of great options. The smashed Avo was a stand out dish so beautifully plated and presented. Would be keen to go back and try some more dishes
Went for a casual brunch with a girlfriend and we absolutely loved this little cafe. Great atmosphere and the food was really nice too. The waitresses there were really nice and gave recommendations if you can’t pick what to eat. Will be my go to cafe!
The food was fresh and really delicious. The Coffee here is also amazing. It's one of the best coffees I've had in a long time. The customer service was also really good. Overall, would highly recommend!
I love coming here finally a nice hang out , it has a relaxing feeling in the shop, the colours and decoration is perfect just like the food . It’s great they can cater to your dietary requirements and also food is tasty ! Love this place it’s a must try in Berwick
Went to this lovely little cafe over the weekend. They are new and have only been opened for a few weeks, we are always looking for brunch places around the area so we decided to give this a try.....They were busy but the food was presented beautifully and was full of flavour. We had the Rosti and smashed avo, the flavours on the smashed avo are different but go very well together. The wait was a little long, but the staff were wonderful and notified us that the kitchen was busy so our order would take a little longer. Overall the atmosphere and the interior of the cafe are very pleasant! We ended up ordering a second coffee to take away with us! The food and coffee were definitely worth the wait!!!!!!
Glad we found this place when me and sisters were looking for a good place to eat breakfast. Good ambience and so clean. Plenty to choose from their menu, reasonable price too. Friendly and helpful staff. Prompt service too. Will definitely come back.

Such a cute little place perfect for brunch! Customer service is fantastic, food is delicious, and the vibe in the cafe is really homey. I have gone a couple times, and each time it’s a treat. I definitely recommend coming down - try the smoothie bowls (any of them - they’re all so good), and for savoury the bao buns are my mum’s fave! These are both pictured.
This cafe is delightful.
The barista is friendly, and she makes excellent coffee.
The store is very bright and welcoming.
Very clean throughout the store.
Next will be to sit and enjoy a meal.
I’ve always seen F&F posted on IG by friends and family and never been. Finally tried it out and must say I was not disappointed! It did take a while to get a table so prebooking on a weekend would seem essential but the wait for the food was worth it. The nori paper was confusing and it felt like eating dried seaweed was an unnecessary extra for this bad boi of a meal but was not let down.
Great food, one of the best breakfast place in South east or Best in Berwick. Small joint but great flavours. Good customer service as well.
