This is a popular fish and chip shop! Once you've tried it you'll understand why it's so busy. The chips are nice and crispy and the flake is a decent size (compared to other fish and chip shops I've gone too.) If you're in the Doreen area and in the mood for fish and chips Hazel Glen Fish & Chips is worth a visit. Tonight we didn't place a phone order so the wait was a little long. Next time we will ring through and pick the order up.
Decent value for money, got one of the deal packs and added in a few bits and pieces. Had to wait an hour which was expected due to it being a hot Friday night, although I think my food was sitting there for a while because it didn’t really have that super fresh taste that takeaway does when you get it. 5 points taken away due to the fact that they don’t serve lemon wedges, but 5 points added for them throwing in an extra couple of chicken nuggets!
Decent fish and chips I also got a burger with the lot and was happy with it was also good value for price ... jam donuts were fantastic highly recommend

Good sized piece of fish, chips were crispy. Overall good quality fish and chips. The lady taking the order was a little rude but regardless we enjoyed the meal.
Our fav fish & chip shop! Never been disappointed! Only 2 minor things.....gravy would be an awesome extra & having no eftpos is pretty annoying, but like I said...nothing major!!
Ordered some food was I impressed. Cooked well and even got given a heap of extras with my order. Very happy with the food and how fresh it was . Will be back
I keep thinking about the hot jam donuts for over three days, got three of them today, they are fresh and delicious. Love them so much.
Probably best fish and chips north of the yarra!. I rate this place as one of the best places in town for fish and chips. It is probably the best fish and chips shop north of the yarra.
Great value for money. $8.5 for fish and minimum chips is good value. Only shame is that they are closed on Sundays!
