We are fairly new to the Docklands area and we love our Asian cuisine and always head into the city. We now love having this so close to us! The food is great and seafood is super fresh, the oysters xo are our favourite, they now have dumpling on the menu which is a bonus! The service is always good. :)
Amazing yum cha with a beautiful view of the sea from your table. Must tries include the black sesame balls and the har gau (prawn) dumplings. It puts the YUM in yum cha!
An asian seafood place with an amazing food. Great for groups who love to share. As this place makes a great use of its space and service to match it.
We ordered a banquet, which came highly recommended. We chose, Snow crabs with foe gras, Regular Chicken salt and pepper and others to follow.
The ambiance is relaxed with prompt service.
They also offer free parking service if you park at 401 Docklands drive, so this comes handy, which high parking charges in thia part of the city.
Overall a great meal with mates
Get the goose liver pate snow crab, so tasty! Came here with little expectations, left here super satisfied. Service is very attentive. Will definitely come back!
I have ordered the steamed whole barramundi with some other dishes, I have got to say, this is the freshest fish I have had for quiet a while. I got the chance to pick the fish that I want straight from the tank next door, it is then cooked and delivered on to the table within 15 mins. The price I must say is very reasonable, ingredient plus 36% cooking fee, I will try the snow crab next time.
Near new 1 month old restaurant along the waterfront. They actually have tanks next door in another shop with live fishes & seafood! The steam fish was so fresh and cooked just right and the clems were huge! The other dishes were all nicely done! Great staff and wonderful service too! Well done.
*Went back again following week and the snow crab in Foie gras was addictively delicious!
We had a great time eating here. Although there was a 2 hours limit, but we chatted and stayed till 9pm. Guess we were allowed to stay on as the place was not full.
Plenty of choices, mixture of cold and hot dishes, western and eastern food, I’m sure there’s something to suit everyone.
My favourite was the red bean soup for dessert. It’s absolutely delicious and perfect for the cold weather.
Waitresses were attentive, and will change your plate every round. Overall we had a wonderful dining experience! Thank you!
Came here for Mother's Day lunch. For $78pp, there was plenty of seafood options, which were largely topped up quickly as they depleted. Mostly Asian inspired buffet options for mains and dessert. Everything we tried was pleasant and fresh.
Very attentive service with dirty plates whisked away when one has barely finished, but staff were really polite in how they asked so it was bearable. Comfortable seating and the restaurant has serene waterfront views. A gratifying experience overall.
International buffet restaurant in Dockland, convenient location and great view.
Personally I like buffet restaurants. New quay provides variety choices of dishes and desserts with quality as its price.
It’s a great place to spend sometime with friends and family as the price is not expensive compared to others and the service was great and staffs were very attentive.
Saturday lunch out with my friend after 4th lock down finished.
Very excited to eat in with harbour view from the table.
I love seafood so this place is heaven for me!!
Lots of choice of seafood. Salmon sashimi & sushi, prawns, mussels, shells, octopus. And more.
Mini size dessert is great. We can try lots of them. My favorite was puddings.
Staff on the floor were very attentive.
Overall great experience.
Thank you !
Thoroughly enjoy the seafood option here, Oysters, Prawns, Crab, Muscles. Here you will find mostly Asian Infusion meals. Which I enjoyed, Duck, Pork Belly, BBQ Pork and Steak.
The dessert portion was a bit of a let down. They need to make the portion just tad bit larger with area surface, essentially it was a cube of cake. Bought.
The Creme Caramel or Vanilla Panacotta was entirely a let down with no essence of sweetness. Bread and Butter pudding tasted like burnt milk. The only decent dessert was the ice cream which was purchased outside of the restaurant. However the custard pudding did suffice. However I did enjoy the experience the restaurant gave with the employees giving alot of presence in the restaurant, topping up water, clearing of tables. Great hospitality to the staff.
