We ordered Spanish omelette and shakshuka for brunch. They were delightfully delicious and the portion was really good value for money! Will definitely visit again :)
Great cafe! A dish in other cafes would cost approx. $15, but at Artees $15 would get you a dish and a coffee. Additionally, there is a student discount (that I remember, not sure if they still have it). Friendly staff too :)
This cute little Italian cafe is conveniently across the road from our Italian school.
We come here every Friday morning and get a egg sandwich but this time after a very stressful oral test, Clyde and I thought we deserved a nice big breakfast.
Clyde got a Bacon and Egg English Muffin and a Ham and Cheese toasted sandwich.
I ordered the scrambled eggs on wholemeal toast.
We were both extremely satisfied. Everything was cooked perfectly and the toast was different and delicious.
The staff are lovely and the place itself has a nice cosy feel.
We love this place and will continue to come here for the remainder of our course.
Well done to Ash Susan and John, great appreciation of food and importantly their customers. Have been introduced to French breakfast tea - flavoursome, but undefinable and intriguing- would recommend cafe John
The cafe is pretty awesome, they have art gallery next to the cafe. The coffee is awesome and the food is awesome. I has egg florentine and it is just delicious. It is worth to come here for a try and will come back continuously..
Nice little cafe!. I went there for brunch on a Saturday. It's a nice cafe with very friendly people. Food was delicious and their orange juice was freshly squeezed which was very refreshing.
I will go there again..... definitely recommend it!
Great little Carlton breakfast/lunch spot. Just down the road from the main bustle of Lygon street, full of fresh natural light and run by a super-friendly bunch who really know their way around a coffee machine. Genuine customer service.
Free wifi, and they're more that happy to have you hang around after a feed to read the paper or play a game of chess.
I had the big breakfast (served all day)
and it was exactly what you want for a lazy Sunday morning or hangover cure. One of the few places where you can have a cold beer with brekky and not feel like a complete grub.
Friendly and tasty cafe goodness.
Fantastic service, lovely staff, miss critic you are way off the mark. You don't find much in Melbourne that's not pretentious, has good food and is cheap. Great value, get around it
Been frequenting Artee daily for 12 months now. Great coffee, relaxed atmosphere, great food, great service. Highly recommended.
Artee Cafe is possibly one of the best cafes I have experienced in Melbourne . The food is always delicious whether breakfast or lunch . The customer service is top notch & always a great experience with Ash & Sue at the helm . They make it a very family like environment & really look after there customers ( throwing in the occasional coffee ) . I am a regular customer to this venue and love the atmosphere . Miss Critic u probably deserved the spray ( I don't believe a word u said )
Couldn't think of a better start to each day then stopping in visiting Ash and Suzie and grabbing a top notch coffee. I also appreciate the ample space in the cafe as it allows for my slightly slanty walking style.
I attened Artees cafe at least 1 week out of every month with friends for breakfast (and lunch on the odd occasion). The food and service is always impeccable, Artees cafe always provides a warm and welcome experience and this is a credit to genuinely friendly and hard working owners. Can not wait for my next visit.
Have been attending the artee cafe for brekky most mornings, the food is spot on with the occasional free coffee, ash and sue have really made me feel part of the family.. The food is spot on, and it takes me back to my homeland of Egypt with every culture being served.. Love the artee cafe!!
This café has a warm and friendly environment, the service is always excellent and the food is good. I am always happy to return.
Great service! Always cheerfull and kind.
Great coffee and food. This is the reason I return so often!
1. Learn to spell people's name correctly
2. When a cafe or restaurant reopens their kitchen at the end of the day just for you and your family its proper to say 'thank you' instead of the obscene language you used to my face. You definitely lack basic social manners.
3. Do you not have anything better to do with your time than to harass and abuse hard working business owners??
4. I wish to end this nightmarish experience which has deeply upset me and my family so please just move on and leave us alone. Thank you.
It's worth a try. Very relaxing and cute cafe, friendly staff, great food, better to say fresh.
Loved the Spanish Omelet for breakfast and Chicken skewers with rice for lunch.
Loved the coffee and the prices were extremely cheap!
Great Coffee. I came in for a casual coffee on a rainy day and found the cafe's environment quite relaxing. The staff are very friendly and the meals are fantastic at such low prices. It's a hidden gem!
