We can order whatever in the menu. Not too sweet, and the staff are so friendly and patient. I will comeback for sure
Will come back for:
+ Tiger pearl milk tea
Came here off the back of zomato gold, and was surprised how affordable the price is for their milk tea. Taste of the milk tea itself was on par with many, and the orange bliss tea was cool and refreshing. Service was also friendly and excellent. I like that they setup games for you at the table and we enjoyed a game whilst sipping our tea which definitely elevated the experience. Would come back again.
Had the hot oolong milk tea and cold regular pearl milk tea. It was nice and creamy/milky and tasted great! Super value if you have zomato gold too (:
Defs recommend and we've already been back again !
Sharetea is my ideal choice for the Pearl Milk Tea. I find the drink texture milkier and not as watery as Chatime. The sweetness level is also not too excessive and the pearls so far has always been cooked through and soft. I rate this experience: 5/5. 285 Swanston Street, CBD, Melbourne, VIC. While not perfect, Sharetea does a pretty consistent job of producing good quality drinks at reasonable prices.
Taking a break from my usual milk tea craving, I had one of their fruit teas which was very refreshing. The pearls were their usual chewy, bouncy selves and the tea was not overly sweet.
Love your work, Sharetea!
Absolutely love this bubble tea shop! My friends and I used to go there for a study break and this is where theyslowly converted me to the wonderful taste of tapioca pearls. Now I get double pearls 😄
Delicious tea and I love that on some of the tables/seating areas there's the connect four board game provided while chatting and drinking hahaha
I remember Sharetea being the third international chain store in Melbourne, coming after Chatime and Gongcha. I thought it would be similar to them and did not have particularly high expectations. They were the first store I saw to run in-store ads promoting the effort that went into producing their tea. The tea was carefully grown and picked in Taiwan and then transported globally. I was slightly amused because I wondered how fresh could it actually remain. Well colour me surprised, I ordered the Taro Milk Tea and I really enjoyed it. The tea was fresh and had depth, reminding me of traditional-styled Chinese teas. The taro flavour was pleasant and genuine in taste. Consistency was silky smooth, the way I like it. No complaints about the pearls either, chewy and not stale. A 7.5/10, it definitely exceeded the expectations I had. The next few drinks I tried were not as likeable as the Taro Milk Tea, but still good.
Had the pearl, pudding and bubble milk tea which was nice. The milk tea flavour is done well here so even with no sugar it was creamy and nice.
The fruit teas here are very refreshing and perfect for summer. The pearls are my all-time favourite with the perfect sweetness and chewiness. Extremely generous with the amount of pearls too! Currently my fav bubble tea shop☺️❤️
The shop is so cute and nice services. The bubble tea and pear is so so good then another shop I ever had. Nice songs and lovely seat. I really enjoyed with friends thank you so much :)
PROS
Reliable flavour and sugar level between different stores
CONS
Thought they were a little stingy on the pearls in comparison to my standard highpoint location
FYI
Members discount card works at all store locations 😁😁
Cheap milk tea that tastes great. When you ask for no ice they still fill the cup to the top without tasting watery. Would definitely call it better than chatime in terms of value and the quality it comes with.
My ultimate favourite is matcha cheese milk tea! (but I’m matcha addict so I’m a bit biased here). Will definitely come here often to make use of my membership benefits and satisfy my milk tea cravings!
I loved their hot chocolate milk tea! Strong chocolate taste and soft & chewy pearls, was perfect for Melb windy day.
Service was good and quick.
Got Recommended to try the Mini Pearl Milk Tea. So naturally we had to go try it out 😂
I haven't had it anywhere else, but first impressions = they're so cute! they're exactly what they are, mini pearls! doesn't taste any different than the pearls that you normally get with milk teas. I'd say that this is a fun change. And then we got the safe choice of Milk Tea with Coconut (lychee) Jelly, really no fault/no frills with this one, so pretty good imo.
Try out the mini pearls next time you get the chance.
My favourite place for boba. I have their loyalty card which entitles me to a free upgrade or free toppings and a regular Thai milk tea with two toppings only costs $5, compared to other competitors which is around $6.50-7.00. Since their renovations, they've accumulated quite the crowd.
While the service most definitely weren’t as bad as mentioned in the older reviews - the guy taking the order was really patient and friendly, there was one girl who was standing around looking disinterested so I’m guessing that was what other reviewers were referring to.
So far, the quality of the drinks remain consistent across the outlets that I have tried, and the mango green tea that I ordered here was tasty and refreshing. First time trying their pudding, and it was silky smooth and not too sweet.
Sharetea has once again proved to be a reliable destination to satisfy my craving for bubble tea.
Woah this place got a lot of hate when it first opened, well whatever the reason it seems to have done a reversal. Service was standard, tip is to grab a membership card (80c) before you purchase so you can start claiming the rewards (free upsize or topping everytime), not sure if you can claim mutliple times for friends.
Got their cheese whipped cream with mango and pearls at 80% sugar this time but need to go down further when there's sweet fruit and pearls involved. The mango was delicious with small slivers of real mango, if there was any tea flavour it was subtle. Whipped cream nicely counterbalanced the sweetness but struggles like any other bubble tea chain to make it easier to drink the layers. The pearls at this chain are always top notch and Sharetea sure are expanding fast! This could be dangerous as I'm going to try all their fruity infusions!
Had the grapefruit fresh fruit tea with 30% sweetness. Tasted very nice and refreshing, and not too sweet so didn’t feel sick afterwards. Staff were very friendly and helpful and patient with customers.
Love their fruit teas. I tried kiwi orange green tea when first coming, it tastes so fresh! But I prefer lychee green tea topped with chewing lychee jelly! Carry one in summer, bang!!!
Was quiet when I visited but the lady serving me was very friendly and helpful in explaining some of the drinks. Ordered Okinawa Milk Tea (Brown Sugar MT) and this was delicious, pearls could be a bit better, but overall, was a great experience.
Well …it certainly does sound like people got some bad service. Not sure whether they've taken the feedback onboard. Or if I was just lucky, but the person who served me was a-ok.
Overall from my one visit, I'd put it on about the same level as other bubbletea places. Perhaps offering some slightly more interesting options. I look forward to trying the herb jelly roasted and cheese options (*_*)
I hope they don't let me down with the service on future visits though!
ShareTea is a Bubble Tea cafe in the heart of the Melbourne. They brew a massive range of Brewed Tea, Fresh Milk, Fruit Tea & Ice Blended Milk Tea!
As a dairy free diner, I tried two of their fruit teas. On my first visit, I had the passionfruit tea with rainbow jelly & pearls. (normal sweetness, half ice) The tea was very refreshing, but there was way too much toppings in the tea.
On my second visit I had the strawberry tea with rainbow jelly (normal sweetness, half ice). This was a much more balanced blend, with just the right amount of toppings. Perfect afternoon pick-me-up.
If you're looking for great bubble tea in the city, check out ShareTea!

Standard milk tea, can't go wrong with that.

+5
I had the Kiwi Green Tea and it was really good for it's price $5.90 without pearls, and and it was very nice. My coldest tea yet even without having ice, though it wasn't too cold. It is the only one that hasn't made me vomit yet. I am very impressed, and I enjoyed it a lot, and I will never go there again so I don't get addicted because it is so good. I think my money is very well spent. Thanks very much. I was also unable to hear very well over the chatter nearby but the staff was patient, and very lenient, and I would say the service, staff, wait time, and drink was very good! :)
You can probably find somewhere that has better pearls and you might be able to find somewhere with nicer tea, but this is one of the best blends of the two. A great balance between chewy and soft pearls and a delicious flavour to the tea
Tea is great, it's better because they have connect four here (20/04/19). Fun to play and have your milk too
I was busking outside their store, and they were so kind, they gave me a bubble tea for free!
