The place I trust the most to have amazing food and customer service. It's unique and different to most restaurants. It's small, warm and cosy. You feel like you are invited for dinner at a friends house. Its homey and has a personal touch. Food is absolutely amazing every time with high quality ingredients and very classy presentation. Perfect place to relax over coffee and tea with friends and family. Our special place is a hidden gem.
Was up this way anyway and decided we needed a coffee , looked up zomato and found this little place . Was off the main road , meandered down some residential streets and weren’t disappointed, the coffee was GREAT and the service was so friendly and welcoming , thanks for our morning coffee

I had a wonderful meal here on a Wednesday night! We started with the momo and then had a Nepalese beef curry followed by bread and butter pudding. It was all so delicious! The owner is just lovely and makes you feel very welcome, explaining each dish. We will definitely be going back!

It's been a while since I've visited a cosy, out of the way place, worthy of high praise, but alas, I have found this lovely Nepalese fusion restaurant/cafe that was very warm on a cold Melbourne night. Here my partner and I met Arun, our gracious and kind host, who not only made us feel at home, but made us feel quite welcome and special. Arun spoke of his expertise, and the skill set of his chef, and I must say, I was not disappointed. We tried the Grilled chicken breast with cous cous and quinoa salad. Wow! This was a meal to remember - the chicken was delectable and cous cous complemented perfectly. Then we tried the haloumi and fig entree, but as dessert. Bitter sweet with light syrup drizzled on top. Marvellous. Finished of with a Masala chai, and longing for more. Perhaps next time I will have the signature Momo Nepalese curry. Few places feel warm and safe as this, perhaps we might make it our own "Special place!" 4/5 only because the serving sizes resemble more fine dining than suburban casual. Loved it! A quick note: This fine culinary destination is under new management for just over a year. Don't hesitate to give Nepalese fusion a try - I was certainly impressed.
What a cosy community cafe! Quite literally hidden away in the back streets of the burbs. Very friendly service with the feel of wanting to serve food that is not only fresh, but healthy!
Amazing food. Great twist on the traditional melbourne brunch breakfast. Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Do yourself a favour and check these guys out!
This place really is special. The food here is beautiful. The variety, the flavours, the presentation, really shows attention to detail and class. The staff are really friendly and polite. The place is small, yet you feel warm and cosy. The decor and music they play here is a nice touch too. Very soothing while you enjoy a fabulous meal.

Was surprised to find this great cafe in our area. Freshly refurbished and nicely done up interior , it feels very cosy and inviting, lots of little touches and character throughout. The staff are super-freindly. Now about the food.
The little baked thingies you have with your coffee - so far I tried choc chip cookie, chocolate brownie and banana bread. I really enjoyed every one of them. I am fussy when it comes to sweet nibbles, more often then not, they are either too sweet or too rich, or have artificial crap, or not fresh, or all of the above. So I was very please to find this rare delicious simplicity, baked in house, on the day or day before, nicely balanced goodies.
Oh, and also, it is so hard to find a coffee place in Mulgrave after 3 pm (without going into a shopping mall) , but these guys seem to be always open!
The other day we also tried their dinner menu, and again were pleasantly surprised - food was delicious, served very nicely, there was a special touch to every dish. Polenta stack dish was very yum!
Anyway, I do hope these guys stick around! They are almost too good to be true.
Fantastic food here especially the evening menu.. Very artistic,carefully considered flavours. The corn and quinoa fritters are scrumptious. The bread and butter pudding was exquisite. Thank you Arun. We'll be back next week!!
What's not to love when the BARISTA keeps his GUITAR behind the coffee machine, ready to play 'when he gets BORED'?? Cool, huh? Yep we liked "Our Special Place" from the get-go.
Where was Wasabi? The 'the super pup' was busy winning a STARING COMPETITION with a customer/fan OUTSIDE. What's a dog to do?
We allowed ourselves to be talked into a "WAZZA ROLL" $7.00 Egg, cheese, bacon roll. Good value for money, but nothing you couldn't make at home.
The Jasper Coffee was very very nice. Strong but not bitter. Full flavored. Nicely presented.
The SERVICE was faultless. The venue nice/quiet and HOPEFULLY filled with the SULTRY sounds of the GUITAR playing BARISTA.
They have great coffe and i love the breakfast menu. I had no idea this place was so close to us, it's tucked away on a side street. We will be coming back.
The food here was just sensational! Great vibe, friendly service and well presented. Pancakes were light, fluffy and full of flavour. My partner had the eggs on toast, and really enjoyed it too.
spring onion on the egg tastes good! ('Simple start' ^_^ ). Bacon is perfectly cooked and crispy on the outside. Fried eggs are marvelous too! I really like the coffee roasted taste.

Great food, friendly staff.. This place is a little hidden gem. The BLT, steak sandwich and pancakes are amazing you won't go wrong with either one. Great variety on drinks as well. And to top it off nice and friendly staff.
