Been here a couple of times & the food has been amazing! One of the best I reckon in this part of town. Staff are really friendly & accomodating.
4 of us came with a voucher and were not disappointed at all.
The place don't have the best location, and all the "Cafe" signs are misleading for an Indian restaurant.
Once in, you don't see any decor but the service was very attentive and make you feel at home.
Food was really good too, especially the different curries we tried.
Hope to have the chance to come back.
It's one of those places that's open whenever you're hungry and is serving the full menu full day.
Staff is friendly and delivery is free and quick with no minimum limit (I've only had food delivered from here)

Enjoyed a nice dinner last night with my partner. Service was very good and so was the Chicken Tikka and Rogan Josh although the meat pieces were dry and fibrous after being over cooked but all the flavours were in the sauce which the meat pieces were swimming in. Pistachio Kulfi was delicious but very little of it. Just a few 1 cm. cubes of it with nothing else!
Decor was non existent and a bit too bright in lighting.
Waiter said that they have been open only for 2 wks so I hope that they work on it a bit more to produce the atmosphere and food presentation because the menu held promise of a more diverse and creative East meets West type of modern assortment.
We visited with a Groupon Coupon for 2. The restaurant has a special & simple menu for Groupon deals. We had an all-veg affair. Being ethnic Indian, we found the food well cooked and the quantity was decent for two. If you are over-the-top hungry, you may have to order an extra naan.
We had visited on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was quite busy, so it took more than half hour for the mains to arrive, but the staff was suitably courteous and took the time to explain and apologize about the delay.
We also ordered a Daal Makhani as an addition to our Groupon order - this dish was surprisingly ordinary as compared with others. Also, "Raita" was listed as part of inclusions on GroupOn, but was missing from table, so not happy about that.
Our complete order was:
Starters: Samosa, Paneer Tikka
Mains: Mixed Veg Curry, Shahi Paneer, served with rice and 2 butter naans
Sweet Dish: Gulaab Jaamun (1 pcs) and Mango Kulfi
The location or decor didn't do this place any justice. If it weren't for Groupon we would not have thought of visiting. But I have to say the food that we ordered was just beautiful. Not only did they accommodate our kids but also accommodated our taste buds.
Ordered Chicken chowmein, chilli chicken and veg fried rice. All three dishes were pretty good. Although the food was supposed to be delivered in 75 mins, it took 15 mins longer than that and the packing of the dishes was pretty tardy. Everything was falling out of boxes and curry running everywhere.
We've been here before - in a previous incarnation. Was an Indian restaurant then too. We had a nice samosa followed by our Favorite Indian food - butter chicken. Good naan bread and rice. The only annoying thing was an electronic blackboard with specials that continually flashed different colours at me all night.
We tried Glassy Junction using a Groupon, despite the restaurant being new and having no reviews when we bought the voucher. We were pleasantly surprised by the food quality and the polite service. We started with crisp papadums, samosas, and the chapli kebab. The samosas were delicious, with a nice pastry and aromatic filling. The chapli kebab lamb meat was not as flavorful. Our mains were the butter chicken and beef rogan josh at the spiciest heat level. The meal had a slight kick, but still easy to eat. My husband especially loved the butter chicken, but I preferred the tender beef rogan josh. This was accompanied by a side of rice and some buttery naan. We were too full by this point, so luckily the gulab jamun and mango kulfi were light desserts to end the meal. Besides the delicious meal, the service from staff at Glassy Junction were very eager to please and courteous.
Food, Hospitality & Service were all great.
Went for a late breakfast but stayed over for a lunch and it was great.
Will recommend the place highly.

I know it wasn't very St. Patricks'y Day of us, but last night we ate at GLASSY JUNCTION Indian Restaurant, Dandenong Road, Malvern East.
It was a real gamble - 3 course dinner for 2 via Groupon voucher for $29 - WOW what a payout...!!!
- We started with a Pappadam and choice of 2 dips..
- Then a Samosa and a chunk of Chicken Tikka..
- We added a serve of Onion Bhaji [deep-fried spicy battered onion rings], an extra..
- Main course: 1 serve Beef Rogan Josh and 1 serve Chicken Butter Cream to share, Saffron Basmati Rice for 2, 1 buttered Roti Bread each..
- We ordered 2 buttered Wholemeal Naan Breads, another add-on..
- Dessert was 1 serve Gulab Jamun [Indian doughnuts with cardamom syrup] and 1 serve Mango Kulfi [Indian icy ice-cream]..
Cost: $29 for set menu plus $26 for extra's inc 2 Lemonades - $55 FOR TWO - How's that..
Everything was beautifully cooked and delicious...!!! Truly thoroughly enjoyed it...!!!

We first went to this restaurant on a "Living Social" voucher, without any expectations. We have dined at Indian restaurants on these types of vouchers and have largely been disappointed, but were actually amazed at the quality of the food at Glassys Junction Cafe. We started with typical Indian pappadums with dipping sauce followed by entree of samosas and stuffed mushrooms - all were fresh and full of flavour. For main course we had Rogan Josh and Butter Chicken with Buttered Roti and Saffron Rice - again the flavours were fantastic, nicely spiced and abundant sized serves. I have enjoyed eating many different cusines and I have to say that the Buttered Chicken dish is now probably one of my favourite meals - without exception. The quality of the chicken was amazing and the sauce was exceptional - I could not fault it. The deserts were okay but nothing compared to the earlier courses. The staff were friendly, very attentive and ready to expand on the menu (if required). We were so impressed that we returned within a week (and had a different menu) and have also planned a family meal next week - can't wait to get back there for the amazing food!
Best food ever. Well I just want to say that was my best experience of an Indian restaurant ,Haters gonna hate ,but I will appreciate !!!! Great taste with excellent hospitality !!!! I dont know why people is giving negative feedbacks ,they must don't know then how actual North Indian food taste like ,I m such a foodie trying food from all parts of Melbourne ,Jaipur is best as per my point of view .Highy recommended
Another Excellent Meal Here. We had dined here before with a voucher and had a most pleasant meal but for some reason had not reviewed it. This time our experience was just as good. The restaurant is pleasant and in spite of being on Dandenong road is relatively quiet with easy parking outside and pleasing ambience, although string of harshly blinking led lights are a bit disconcerting and out of character.
The service was most friendly and efficient. The serves were quite generous and represented very good value. Following Papadoms and the usual accompaniments there were two entrees, a Seekh Kebab cooked in the clay oven and a vegetable samosa which were fresh and tasty. Then there were three dishes, a Butter Chicken curry as nice as any we have ever tasted, a beef curry and a really lovely vegetable curry as well as rice and naan and drinks. The restaurant is less than ten minutes from our home and we look forward to returning there soon.
Moderately priced and close to the station. Myself and two friends picked Jaipur Royal from Urbanspoon on a whim and were not disappointed! We headed there for Thursday night dinner and were the only diners there. We had the butter chicken, lamb Rogan Josh and beef madras with rice and garlic roti, and left thoroughly satisfied. Perfect service and tasty, filling food.
Really really good. Have been looking for a good neighborhood curry house for ages. Found it. Lovely food, lovely staff, really well priced. Hilarious location overlooking Dandenong Rd - perhaps don't take a window seat at this one. But will definately definately be returning.

I used a discounted meal voucher and was impressed with the quality of the meal I received. Very authentic flavours. Was very full at the end of the meal. Wine on offer was too sweet for my liking but other drinks were reasonably priced. Did not receive a dessert although not sure I could have fitted it in!!! Wasn't very busy for a Saturday night but surroundings were clean and pleasant.
A Royal Feast. Dined here on a Deals coupon tonight and what a nice surprise. Warm, friendly and welcoming service together with beautiful food ensure we shall return. Could not fault one thing - everything on our set menu was delicious (veg. samosas, onion bhaji, lamb kebabs, raita, dips, beef madras, chicken rogan josh, rice and naan - all totally yuuuuum. Thank you for a lovely treat. :)
Wow!!! Finally. After years came across a restaurant that knows what Indian food should taste like. Entrees amazing, tasty food, lovely service. And VERY VERY clean. Attention to details. Consistency and flavour of mint chutney and raita perfect. Not runny like others. BIG FAN! Must try.

An absolute hidden gem!. Wow. So glad we tried this place, because we may never have even known it was there tucked away in this inconspicuous location! I've tried a few good Indian places around Melbourne including Namaste in Bundoora, Elephant corridoor in Glen Waverley, and bistro 309 in Bentleigh and I must say that Jaipur is definitely up there, maybe even my second favourite.

The food is excellent and affordable, and the servings were quite generous; I left feeling very full! We did come having purchased a coupon from Groupon, which was absolutely amazing value! definitely reccommend! However I have seen the menu and my partner and I agreed we'd be happy to come back again-he said it was up there with the best indian food he has ever had. I really loved the chicken rogan josh, the chicken was tender and perfectly cooked, the vegetarian daal was full of flavour with a nice creamy texture, and the Naan was also nice and crisp and fluffy, despite a little oily on the outside. The Samosa's were also really yummy.

The decor was very clean and had a nice authentic theme. Both the cutlery and table were exceptionally clean and crisp, and there were candles and flowers on the table, adding a nice cosy touch.
Yummy food. Me and my wife went Jaipur royal first time and it was incredible experience.
The service was also remarkable and we didn’t have to wait.. The spices were very well blended and the meat was well done, as ordered. All i can say, it is best one in Melbourne.

Not bad for a Groupon!. Bought a $30 Groupon deal even though we were a little suspicious about the high approval rating on here. Turned out to be a delicious night out!
The curries we were given would not have been our first choice, however, we couldn't really fault the dishes as the flavours were all there.
We've decided we'll return to try the Chilli cheese Naan bread mmm!

Delicious. Came here with an Our Deal voucher and was treated well. VERY DELICIOUS FOOD! They let us swap the meat options on the menu for vegetarian options. The vegetarian paneer especially was really delicious, as was the lentil curry. The bread provided was also really tasty and amazing. I also purchased a mango lassi on top of the voucher which was nice as well.

Delicious, Relaxing and Great Service. We have been going to this place since its opened and every time we go the food is always amazing the service is great and the ambiance is awesome. Its a Family oriented business so the Owner is always there so the things never go wrong , they make sure there customers are always happy. Their Paneer Pakodas, Chicken tikka, daal makhani is great.
Now we organize all the birthday and Anniversary Parties there.

Big tick for Quality and Quantity. Visited Jaipur on a voucher with my partner. I have to say that of all the vouchers I have purchased on Groupon/LivingSocial etc, this was definitely the most worthwhile.
For $39 for two people we were served an array of starters (samosas, vegetable pakoras, and some kind of indian sausage), followed by saffron rice, naan bread and three mains- butter chicken, beef rogan josh and vegetable curry, as well as a dessert- a cheese dumpling in sweet sauce.
The starters were delicious, especially the vegetable pakoras and I was already starting to get full- to be honest I nearly had a heart attack when all the mains came out- there was so much food for two people, we ended up having to take home what we couldn't fit in our stomachs!
The starters and mains were absolutely delicious- the meat so tender, and the sauces so flavoursome- I even loved the vegetable curry.
The dessert was a letdown, the texture was strange and the flavour was sickly sweet- however I have never particularly liked Indian desserts in the past so this was to be expected.
All in all, delicious food, and fantastic customer service- especially being on a voucher. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants I have visited!
Fantastic value. Just home from a fantastic dinner with a Groupon voucher. No skimping here on serving sizes or service. Will happily return and pay full price.

DELICIOUS. The service was lovely, the place was very quite for a monday but that was enjoyable :)
The food i felt was reasonably priced our mains were $13.50 and $18.
The Chicken we ate was succulent, juicy and melted in your mouth.
The coconut rice was really good choice to counter the spice flavours
and the naan tasted like authentic Indian naan i've had in Malaysia :)

Drove past this place and saw byo and decided to give it a go. It was quite when we went it but this was an advantage because the service was then great taking our order quickly and bringing food quickly. The chicken 65 was amazing and will be going back just for this. Butter chicken was a really good one and the garlic naan was incredibly soft. Will Def go back here when I want easy and tasty Indian.
