The best ever, always taste nice and fresh great service and open after hours especially when you’re hungry after a night out you can also grab a wine while you’re there, thanks guys… I’ll be back next time I’m passing….

Every time we go to 'Lambs' it's fantastic. We go a lot. The guys are great and nothing is too much trouble. Aussie with two eggs: no problem, Hawaiian with extra pineapple: done! Where else can you go and eat looking at a wall of satisfied customers? 2.00am on a cold winter Saturday night out clubbing or 7.00pm on a sunny summer's evening, want pizza, want souvlaki? Get to Lambs!

This was the worst souvlaki experience I have ever had. I purchased souvlaki with the lot, and was overcharged by $7. They are dishonest for taking advantage of me. For this reason alone, I will never be returning to this establishment. The lack of food quality was the cherry on top to ensure they lost my business - for $16 I expected much more quality and size than I was given. The meat was extremely bland and there was not enough tomato or tzatziki. I also found literally only one circle of onion in the whole thing; however, there was far too much lettuce (I do not recall ordering a lettuce wrap). It tasted like water and felt like a waste of calories. There was no care or craftsmanship put into the food which is extremely disappointing and left me feeling cheated especially since they overcharged me. Effort is a respect to not only yourselves, but also to your consumers. Do better.

I make it a priority to come here at least twice a month. After moving to Australia my friends introduced me to a lamb kebab. Now I am addicted to HSP made with sautèd mushrooms and there is only one place to have it done to perfection!

Had a Lamb Souvalki with the lot. For the price I expected it to be excellent. It lacked flavour. There wasn't enough sauce or meat. It was mostly lettuce. Very disappointing. It is a 2.5 at best out of 5. Not value for money.

This place was open to late and I was super hungry so stopped by for a pizza. A good pizza well cooked full of toppings went down well. I have also had souvalaki here and it was delish

Well as the Queens birthday rolls around this south of the Yarra queen is well and truly south of the Yarra (south of the Bass strait even!) and ready to reminisce on the final culinary experience I had in Melbourne before I left. So what!<br/><br/>Last thing I ate was souvlaki combination plate from Lambs on Chapel delivered late night by upper eats. It was great and I asked them to throw in a pita and they did! Don't take this kindness for granted and I'm certainly not this is why these guys have netted a rare 5 star review.<br/><br/>Hungover? Check it out..<br/><br/>If you might be hungover in the morning? Definitely check it out

Had the double souvlaki. Meat was extremely dry and the whole feed was fairly greasy. Lacked seasoning as well. Not worth $16 for sure. Will be giving this a miss.

Cannot fault this joint - been consistent for years.<br/><br/>Open plate lamb souv; beautifully charred meat on the outside, juicy on the inside, warm toasted pita bread, crispy fresh lettuce and tomato, plus a healthy dollop of tzaziki sauce.Service is quick, food is delicious. Forget the rest, this is the real deal.<br/><br/>Huge thanks to all who work there, please never stop what you do and how you do it.

I've been coming here around 18 years and simply believe it's the best there is. The meat is real lamb not that processed pal dog food stuff that goes in kebabs and souvlakis, it has crispy bits on the outside with salty spicy flavour to die for and tender and soft bits inside that can only be achieved by slow cooking on a spit. The pita bread and veggies are always fresh and the garlic sauce is delicious especially towards the end when it's all in the bottom of the wrapper waiting for you to finish.<br/><br/>I've introduced many people to this place including fussy eaters and those who had previously assumed kebabs with processed meat were the only kind available and not one has ever been unsatisfied, most were actually very surprised. The decor is pretty terrible even for a souvlaki joint but it's far better than it was prior to the Renovations some years ago, the staff are friendly and fast and the prices are fantastic. They also do decent pizzas although I've only had them a couple times myself.<br/><br/>This is a very underrated place and I think the interior design may put some people off but those who know keep coming back for ever, just check the place on a Friday or Saturday night and see for yourself.<br/>

Best kebabs on Chapel St. The service is speedy and the charcoaled kebabs are amazing. The pizzas here are also great. Definitely better than rivals Lamb on Chapel.

Great quality and generous servings!. Fantastic chicken and lamb souvlaki's! Even my wife (who is Singaporean) was impressed by the quality and generosity of the fillings on the delightful souv's!

Nothing beats meat cooked over coals, combine that with fresh ingredients and you have yourself one of the best soulvlaki in Melbourne
