Shandong Mama - Melbourne - Photo album

Lovely staff and good service, but that’s about all the praise I can give. The kungpao chicken tasted so sweet, not pleasant. The black pepper beef was a very strange texture - not sure what cut of beef was used, but it tasted quite like liver. And the dumplings were pretty loveless. Won’t be return
Staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean but the food is dissapointing. Dumplings are innovative flavours but not tasty. Quite often there will be broken dumplings on the plate. It's also more expensive than most other dumpling restaurants. I have been there a few times because it's very
The sichuan chicken was $19.80 and was a plate full of chilli and no chicken on the small deep fried bones. Chicken was Overpriced and not nice. dumplings were not bad except restaurant was freezing cold because the door wouldn't close.
Door still doesn't close properly and makes annoying sound and lets cold draught in. Jasmine tea was cold and didn't taste freshly brewed. You're probably better off walking a few hundred metres and getting some better value Vietnamese food.
The dumplings was really good, I love their hot sour soup, really tasty with their dumplings, but the price a bit expensive! Otherwise highly recommended
Good food, but pricey - some of the best dumplings
Pretty solid fare, not much msg either, so you don't get diabetes!
Delicious dumplings. The wasabi spinach is good too.
