Review Nobel Greek Restaurant - Melbourne

Maryaum Conti
My girlfriend and I dined at this quaint restaurant Friday night. Initial contact was by phone with the owner herself “Maria” kindly offering to make our booking on their online platform. Greeted with kindness and friendliness. Food - amazing! service - brilliant!! Our waiter “Jackson” made sure our evening was meet with quality service. We were also serviced by other staff when Jackson was serving other tables. Toward the evening after the restaurant’s demands were met, Maria the owner and chef conscientiously came out to personally introduce herself and hoping we enjoyed our night. Really nice family dining atmosphere. Hoping to return with Hubbies. So if you’re looking for good food and a great night out try “Nobel” Greek Tavern. Xxx

The owners went out of their way to accommodate my family on a very busy night. It was my birthday celebration so this was particularly appreciated. The food, as always, was top rate, delicious. I would particularly recommend the fetta dip, calamari and chicken gyros, but am sure my family members would highly recommend the meals they had, especially the lamb gyros. The waiting staff were very attentive, thoughtful and considerate. My family have been dining here for years, the owners are beautiful people, the staff are fabulous and the food amazing!

Hi, dined in tonight. Great service. Jackson the waiter very engaging, very helpful without being over the top. Service & food very good, no complaints. We really enjoyed our meal & evening. Will go back to eat in or takeaway as we have for past 20 yrs 🙂

This place is great! The atmosphere is very cosy, great for a family gathering. The staff are really friendly and hospitable. Jackson looked after our table of 12, his service was fantastic and made sure everyone was looked after. The food is absolutely delicious definitely recommend a banquet to experience a large range of a Greek cuisine. Highly recommend the Nobel Greek Tavern.

Accommodated our large group at the last minute. Service was good and food came out quickly. Every dish was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. The hardest part was choosing what to order - I'd happily come back and work my way through the menu. Good drinks list including Greek beers and spirits.

Absolutely fresh, delicious and beautiful food. Definitely have the banquet

Great to catch up with the Kosmas Family at the Keilor Rd Niddrie at @nobelgreektavern for Friday night dinner and the food was magnificent! Huge servings too! Great value for money! Service led by @pegs_fc First ever female footballer @alikibatis was first rate, friendly and very professional! If you are hungry no better local Greek tavern to support than Nobels! Look forward to returning very soon. Make sure you remember to book though as you will be disappointed as it is very popular!

Nobel Greek Tavern.... .A busy and vibrant restaurant. The food was amazing with big serves. The meals served, tasted as good as they looked... super fresh, colorful and delicious. The service and staff were amazing. Loved it😊 The owners
Maddy
Best Greek food I’ve ever had. Food was fresh and delicious and the meat was so soft. Everything was amazing. Staff were really lovely and friendly. I would definitely go back

Great service however food took a little while to come out. Really good vegetarian open souvlaki. Sagnaki was amazing here! Lamb souvlaki was nice and tender

I’m not surprised to see so many people disappointed with value for money at this place.

I ordered $125 worth for 5 people and when I received it, I actually called the restaurant because I thought they had made a mistake. There was probably only enough to feed three at best. I spoke to two rude staff who really couldn’t care less that they had a customer on the phone. I had absolutely been ripped off.

Their large portion comes in the same container that other restaurants would classify as a small and for this they charge $40. For $12 you can buy some ice berg lettuce in a plastic container with a piece of tomato.

Don’t waste your money here, even if you’re happy to pay crazy expensive prices for minimal food, it’s still not worth it for the terrible attitude of the people that work there.

We were taken here the other night for dinner.
The menu prices have changed from the displayed menu listed here. Each dish has gone up a few extra dollars.
The portion sizes were good. We ended up splitting the open souvlaki and feta chips between two people and it was plenty.
The mixed meat (lamb and chicken) weren’t greasy like other places I’ve been to. The lamb had the nice crispy edges and the chicken was juicy.
The staff were attentive and kept refilling the water which was good.
The food was delicious but overpriced - especially considering the prices have increased.

Nobel has been around in the Niddrie area for a while now and seem to be full of people at night, especially on the weekend.
The lamb and meat is actually very tasty and full of flavour. My issue with this place is the portion size.
Two other Greek restaurants on the same road sell the same gyros platter and personally Nobel is my last pick. Just because they are too pricey for the portion size. They probably do have the best tasting meat, it's just not worth the price for a tiny container of it!

Quality- 5/5
Staff and service- 5/5
Decor- 4/5
Value for money- 1/5

If you don't mind paying that extra expense, then by all means I would recommend you to come here. If you're like me and try to find value for money, then I would avoid coming here often.

Quality of the food is great, and the banquets are generous. We have eaten here twice in 2 months. Staff have been great and accomodating for our two young kids. Well done nobel. We will be dining out here regularly

Ordered the open mixed souvlaki. The ingredients were so fresh, the meat was not overdone but cooked perfectly. Generous serving size too.

The food was great and the service coupled with the jovial personality of the owner made it a pleasant well rounded meal.

One of the best old school souvlakis in Melbourne great food service is good ...been there many times and always leave happy...never disappointed highly recommend great place...

Got some takeaway food the other night for an easy dinner option with the family. It was really quite impressive! We had the mixed meat platter which included gyros, lamb souvlaki, Greek sausage, lamb cutlets and meatballs. Wasn’t too oily like some other Greek restaurants. The mixed dips was a generous serve and they were delicious. The saganaki was also really tasty. I recommend!
Angela L Knez
Generous meals. I got the open mixed souvalaki. It doesn't come with chips which is disappointing and a bit pricey. I found the meat a bit chewy. I always finish my plate even if I'm full but not at this place as i didn't enjoy it. I would want to try the feta chips though
Marina Moscatt Ruscigno
Service was fine, food was expensive and over rated. Char grill should be over coals not a hot plate ! Disappointed I couldn't get hommus or halloumi cheese at a Greek restaurant!!!! Won't be going back!!!!
Thu Duong
The food here is nice if you're craving some Greek food local to the western suburbs but come here only on a weekday and preferably for an early dinner because service is pathetic on the weekend. Expect long wait times and stressed out staff. My fav dishes are the Loukanikos and dips. If they're not busy they may give you a complimentary potato dish which is a very nice gesture.
Aisling Gilhooly
A really good experience here! Staff were super friendly and really tasty Greek food. The banquet was incredible value for money - so much food!
John Dimitropoulos
My brother booked mothers day lunch today, we arrived at 1.30 pm. we had to order from a set menu....food was below average.....extremely oily, the salads arrived after the main platters.....and it took them 3 hours to serve a few dips, a platter of seafood and a meat platters. We paid over $300 for 5 adults...def not worth the money, and the meat was so oily that we all have stomach cramps,,,,,,

Recommend that if you want a good Greek Restaurant....go restaurants in Fitzroy,,,,,,better food, better quality for money.

I wont be going back there again and will def not recommend this restaurant to any of my friends
Must Be Hungry
We were craving a big feed so we made our way down for some juicy Greek meats and dips. We both ordered the small gyros plate. As expected, the meat was succulent and servings big enough to fill us both. Service was fast enough and polite, very quiet on Sunday night though. Although good, we have had much better for the price.
Vesna Gracev
Very disappointed at this restaurant, we went first time last night. We ordered seafood plater. They ruin the fish with garlic and scallops were like 10cents size. Calamari smelled like old oil. Definitely not enough for two people. We went home hungry. Will never go back.
Food Luvr
Authentic Greek food! Tastes great and full of flavour. Cheese delicious! Had a young girl serve me lovely smile and very kind! Couldn't fault the food, all delicious, service so friendly, can't wait to come back.
Dimitrios Vosdoganis
Dont ever order the seafood plater-for 3 people for $95 dollars is more like a ontree for one -food was fine but for 3 guys we mite ordering pizza on the way home - cause we are still very hungry
Luke White
Well the food was nice. The staff were beautiful and lovely. The food turned out amazing and probably tasted one of the best sovalaki ever or how your spell it. Price is fair . Will come back :)
Snow
Hmmmm well food was nice...the young staff were lovely, and good on them to getting a job there, my first job was at sams cafe a few doors up when I was 15, and sure was 10times better than my friends gigs at maccas!!
But the big question here is .... was Nobel worth a $250 bill for 3 people... hell NO... why you wonder???... ummm eating off a trestle table... with a ratty table cloth, next to a vacuum with the ceiling about to fall in could be some of the reasons, having to go find our own menus another, then find myself another chair because the one I was sitting on felt like it was going to break (thank god I only weigh 55kgs), or perhaps the disgustingly dirty light switch I had to stare at for 2hours.... dips and pita were lovely... staff lovely.... no deserts or coffee in the banquet, seriously unheard of for the price of $65 pp, Nobel come on really, I can cook greek deserts and I know it would cost you only a dollars to even do a loukoumades, its only flour yeast and water, ok sure there's the cost of the honey, but leave off the pistachios if you're trying to cut costs....
will I be back you wonder? Well of course not... however if they drop the price to $35 a head for what they offer well yes I would probably return, because let's face it you get what you paid for... did I mention $250 for 3 people to eat off a trestle table??😳 next to a vacuum and a dirty light switch😧 oh oh don't forget the ceiling about to cave in🤕 (check the photos, I never take photos but had to share my epic dining experience with a vacuum!!, very quite guy, surprising really thought he would have sucked as a dining guest! Get it "sucked" it's a vacuum 😂lol)
So as always Hellenic Republic sets the benchmark for food quality and price for me, so my advice to you is drive 10mins up the road to Brunswick and go to Hellenic Republic order yourself a $69 banquet, and you will never be disappointed!!! And they give you 2 deserts!!! And cook All their meals!!! No canned/ jarred stuff there, just pure quality!!!
My advice to Nobel simple access you venue or your prices one needs to change...

Decent food a little slow on service, good to visit for a fix of Greek in the burbs.
However, calamari was a little tough, not as good as the lamb.
Foodie Duo
Gave us complimentary potatoes which was nice with the banquet we ordered. Food kept coming out which was good and nice portions. Food was fresh served with really great customer service.
Only down fall was no dessert came with the banquet and they ran out of coffee so we couldn't even have a coffee with the meal.
The Truth About Food
I went there on Sunday night with 7 friends and were seated upstairs which I wasn't told about when I made the reservation. We had a very enthusiastic young boy serving us and he was lovely, that was great to see as when I arrived, it was almost like I was a burden for the two girls downstairs and I felt uncomfortable!
Our food came out at separate times and though it was nice, it was overpriced for what it was!!!!
Katrina
It was meant to be a casual Greek restaurant with mediocre food. Turned out to be awesome.. Westernised Greek.. Good service, generous portions.. Loved it.
Ms Mon
A very pleasant evening! The food was very fresh n tasty. Service was prompt though there were minor mistakes made with the order but the staff were very quick to rectify the situation. The lamb meat is way better than the chicken! Eggplant dip was Devine with a nice kick of garlic 😀 calamari was extremely fresh, a minor criticism is that it was a tad salty.
Overall it was a great place to eat will definitely recommend to my frds 😉 For four people we spent $101 😉
Maximusmyboi
OMG as I was walking in the door, one of The feral ugly extremely rude sons or male workers literally pushed me straight out of the way of entering as he was in a rush to light his cigarette!!.... couldn't believe how rude he was, it was like l was invisible!!... He just walked straight thru me lol...... that should off been the sign to leave and go elsewhere but yeah......... got to the counter and was told their main dish being lamb was out!!! They had run out so yeah l got the greek salad......hhmmmmm now lm not greek but l thought a Greek salad had a little more than lettuce, 4 unpitted olives, one tomatoe cut into four wedges and some capsicum, and they only charged me $17 for it. Can't say l will be going back there again. Although l do have to say the young girls that worked the counter and tables were very sweet and sincere😊 and gave some pleasantness to my experience.

We had dinner there last night for the first time. The food was very nice and the service was excellent. A bit more expensive than other greek restaurants but well worth the money.
Kat
Ordered the $65 per head banquet. Overpriced and very salty for my palette. Service was slow and appeared disorganized and erratic. Huge disappointment as I had heard good things about this place and it is local to me. Plenty of other nicer Greek restaurants I prefer to travel too.
Kara Tamburrino
I visit Nobel every few months..staff are great as they know me..food is good and always get food quick..but i agree on the over pricing..however all greek places are costly..
Good Food Lover
The food use to be good but the quality of food has gone down dramatically over the last couple of years, their are much better Greek restaurants to go to then this one, it is over priced and the owner of the restaurant is rude and arrogant, He should not be serving customers because he has no people skills and with the quality of food he is producing he has no reason to be rude because he will need all the customers he can get in the future!
Danielle Di Benedetto
Regular customer! Absolutely love it, fresh food and cooked right infront of you. You can never go past a banquet get to try a bit of everything, however I love the gyros salad (refreshing way to eat Greek!)
Service is great, always a smile on every workers face.
LNK
We went the other week and were seated promptly and had no issues with service during the night. The banquet options didn't grab us so we decided to order a mixed dip, saganaki, dolmades and then share the meat platter and seafood platter between the 4 of us. The food was nice but nothing spectacular and the price tag at the end of the meal seemed a bit over the top for what we had received, they also charged $7 corkage which was a bit steep for one bottle of wine and 2 wine glasses. We will keep exploring but not sure if we would rush back here, Opa definitely had better quality food.
Robbie
We frequently go to nobels for dinner and the food is fantastic! This time we thought we would have takeaway souvlakis. The chef put tomato in one even though we said no tomato, he made it clear to other staff he didn't like that choice so put it in anyway
The care factor put into to the takeaway side of the restaurant is pathetic because the souvlaki wasn't even wrapped at all it fell apart everywhere even after waiting 25 mins for it! Really disappointing to know they only care about people who dine in!
We've visited a couple of times and on each occasion the service was great but the food was on the average side. Portion sizes were huge, but it seems to be all about quantity and not quality.
Marianne.michael895
Customer Service at its worst.. Extremely poor customer service, my first time going to nobels and firstly my husband and I just get told by a waitress go choose a table without escorting us there and secondly we were ready to order and thought we would be attended to by a waitress in a short time but as I looked to see if a waitress was coming I saw them all just standing and talking to each other doing nothing. We hadn't even been offered drinks yet and we were already to order our food, we waited 30 minutes until we were attended to by a waitress. I don't blame the chef getting frustrated reading previous reviews especially with workers like this. At least the food was worth the wait as it was delicious, but will not be coming back due to this lazy and lack of customer service.
Sonia
Been back a few times for the fantastic huge salads. Limited menu but tasty. The lemon potatoes are a little oily.
Fab P.
Way way way overpriced!. The food has been consistent over many years we've been dining at nobels. I must say that the food is great but their prices are now ridiculous! You can certainly dine at much better places considering the prices. If you're just after a suvlaki then go to Ds suvlaki on Mathews avenue (close to Westfield) with $30 you can buy 3 (Nobels are now charging $28 for one) and in my opinion Ds Suvlaki are tastier) Not far from Nobels there is another Greek restaurant (Paradise Of Lindos) and the prices are much better and so is the quality of the food. I really hope the owner reads this as I'm really disappointed and he's lost another regular customer.

Food was ok but wont go back.. Waitresses and food were ok however because we ordered take away we were standing at the front of the shop watching who appeared to be the owner preparing the food. This man was so rude and crude i couldn't believe it, constant swearing and muttering under his breath and when he got the ticket for our order he looked like he wanted to kill someone, god forbid that we ordered to much food????
Nick
Over priced and bad attitude from chef/owner
Tmk
Food was delicious and servings were massive definitely worth the money! Service was extremely good waitresses very friendly would definitely recommend!
Phenix
Apaulling service. Called up to confirm they were still open and taking take away orders one Saturday afternoon and was told 'yes, come down'. Upon arriving and relaying my order to the waitress who wrote it all down, a guy behind the counter stormed up,took one look at the order and refused it. I explained that I phoned in advance and to my dismay no one took responsibility for the call - complete ignorance Could not believe the treatment - pathetic. First and last time. Can't say anything about the food as I've vowed never to return.
Franc Neagle
If you are content with poor service and prices inflated by 30 percent more than nearby competitors you should give this place a go. The food is okay but they even refuse to serve a takeaway souvlaki when they think they are too busy with dine in customers.
Arun
Extremely poor customer service. Chef/owner was quite rude to his staff, in a public forum. 15 minutes after taking our order, we were told there was not enough food for us & that they couldn't serve us. If things are too stressful in the kitchen, I suggest not having an open one in the front of your business for all customers to hear & see. First visit, also definitely last visit.
Moeeee
Group of 4 went down on Saturday night and loved it. Alittle disappointed in the banquant and what it offered, so we made our own and loved it. I read other people had issues with the service, but we had no issues. They seemed extremely busy but we're not rude or unprofessional to us... Will definitely go again :)
Taste
We felt like a souvlaki and I was told by a friend that Nobels were pretty good(why did I listen to him)!!
We wanted takeaway for 6 so asked for 6 souvlaki they looked at us like we had done something wrong. They advised us that we need to call and order instead of just turning up(I'm sure it says takeaway on the front of the restaurant. I would understand if there was no meat left but there was more than 1/2 a spit left. Souvlaki was good but It was like they were doing us a favour. I don't think Nobels understand the the value of good service. I would not recommend due to very poor service and a just an all right souvlaki.

Worst Greek restaurant I have ever been to. They use artificial lemon crap to baste the meat and seafood and it left a bitter aftertaste on everything. They have no excuse. I have never been to a Greek place where they charge $28 for a lamb souvlaki. Other thing is the dip player. 6 tablespoons of dip for $18 and then they give you 2 pita breads and if u want more they charge you $4! Daylight robbery. It's not home made. The baklava was terrible, soggy, too nutty and the nuts had a stale chewy texture. Very disappointed. Def never going back. Only positive was the service which was excellent. Do yourself a favour and keep walking. There's another Greek restaurant a few doors down that is yet to disappoint or anything else you please really.
Bruno N Jo
OMG this is by far THE most delicious greek food u will ever find. All of the menu is gorgeous, plentiful and fresh. Service is quick and friendly.
Meal size is large and will worth it. We are regular customers who dine out at least 4 times per week. We are yet to find a match for nobel!

Don't waste your money!!!. Just had dinner there with a group of friends. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!!!! Food was way overpriced, very poor quality, a small amount and it took over an hour to be served. We ordered the $40.00 banquet, which included a platter of meat and salad. There were 4 of us, the meat arrived on one dinner plate with some meat on it, the salad was as big as an ice cream bowl, there was not enough food for the four of us. Quite disappointing. We had already complained about our food taking so long, and why other people who arrived after us have already been served that we couldn't be bothered complaining about the amount of food. This should not be a restaurant it should only be a takeaway souvlaki place. Don't waste your money here, there are a lot of other better restaurants on keilor road like, squid inc, tin roof and frank's seafood.
People Gotta Eat
Nobel Greek Tavern. I was drawn in by the charcoal spit in the window but the dining experience was unfortunately disappointing. The quality of the meals are not consistent with the high prices charged.
The gyros lamb had a lot of fat and sinew, I left my plate with a pile of meat I couldn't chew.
I was sat next to a wall that was dirty with food splatter? Your clothes and hair will smell like cooking as the kitchen area is not separated from the dining area.
Stephanie Kate
Went to this place for dinner and it was absolutely amazing!! I ordered the $40 banquet with a friend and definitely got our money's worth. Enjoyed everything they served. So fresh and flavor some!! Highly recommended
Wally Stearman
The best Greek food I have tasted, the best takeaway souvlaki in Victoria, not cheap, but great value for money.Gets very busy, which is why the service is some times slow, but worth the wait if you want the best.
Allyoucaneat
Cliched, average greek food. The meat was too salty and the bread was terrible........I felt I paid restaurant prices for something I would pick up at a take away kebab shop
Joe
Must visit Nobel. Was introduced to Nobel recently, and have enjoyed my visits there ever since. the food is amazing, must try the calimari and grilled sausages !!! you will not leave with an empty stomach. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and the owner is a top bloke. I highly recommend Nobel for all who want to try delicious traditional greek food.
favourite place on keilor road!
Kills Lindos
Daniel
Waited 40 minutes for food after arriving at 6pm when restaurant was pretty much empty. My husband politely asked where our food was & the waitress replied 'what can I say?... it's on it's way' No apologies or explanation. People who arrived after us had eaten & left before we got our main! Service is terrible, staff rude & unhelpful. They did not care to make us happy at all. Although food was tasty it is very overpriced for what it is. Not a nice experience not to mention being seated at a table under the staircase! Terrible!!
Salt Bush
The food is reasonably good although a bit pricey, The place is a bit cramped The tables are too small and they pack them in , the service could be better . Orders seem to get confused !!
Jimmy Petrovski
Local delicassy. Awesome souvlaki is my local takeaway. Owner can be abrupt but I don't particularly care, he wants my money I want his souvlaki. Simple. Quality. Delicious
Steph P
Great souvlakia! Just got some takeaway lamb ones. Meat was exceptional, although Nobel doesn't add chips in them! Beats a kebab anyday. Place looked very busy.
Elizabeth
Great Food. What's not to love about their lamb and chicken. Seriously, we drive halfway across town to get it!
Rachel
It was very nice food and lots of it, was a bit on the pricey side but staff were nice and the food was nice!

Arrogance will not be tolerated. Was once a fav and had been a loyal patron for countless visits. However on my last visit as a group of ten, we ordered the banquet which we had any time before. Only problem on this occassion, the mains were served within minutes of all the entrees.
We pointed this out to the waitress who spoke to the owner. The owner's feedback, via the waitress was "thats the way it is".

We felt the owner was being most unfair using the waitress as a middle person to deliver a rude message so we advised the waitress we would like to speak to the owner, not surprising, he declined. So I went up and spoke directly to him to express our concerns. He advised if we didn't like it we could leave.

So we did.

The End
Jade Owens
Had a booking and waited 15mins at our table and didn't even get water or drinks request. Worst Service Ever. Paradise of Lindos made a table and had water in under 30sec with no booking. Best Service Ever!
Mel Ensink
We were very disappointed in this restaurant.
The service was terrible! We had to constantly grab wait staff to ask to order drinks, entrees and mains. Our dirty plates weren't cleared until we asked them to be, we waited about 40 minutes for our mains & the calamari salads came 10 minutes after the meat dishes.
At the end of the meal I asked to speak to the duty manager & when giving my feedback, I was told it was our own fault we ordered entrees and mains seperately!
The food was tasty but over priced, especially considering the poor service.
Someone Like You
We loved Nobel a few years ago! We went back lastnight to have it again, prices were a bit more then we remembered, we opted for the banquet and it sees like the best value for money. Entrees were super quick mains came out a little later.. As the restaurant filled up it seemed like the little table for 2 that we were on wasn't even looked after. After sitting there after our mains-
Finally a waitress came over and asked if we wanted our coffees.... We waited 25mins watching the waitresses walk around and then stand around the coffee machine obviously completely forgetting our coffee... In the end was cracked it and paid the bill and left. It was tempting to tell them to take the coffee price off the banquet considering we didn't get it!!! So all in all food was good - service was terrible if you are a smaller Table that they won't make hundreds of dollars from.
Ellie
Amazing. Loved it loved it loved it! I am a regular customer here and have tried most things on the menu. I cant say anything bad about the food. Its fresh, tasty and the way that Greek food should taste. Its also not as expensive as other Greek restaurants that I've been to. If you're after something filling, I'd def try the open souvlaki and if you want something smaller, the Greek meatballs are to die for! Staff are also very friendly. If i had to say something bad about this place its that they can be very chaotic Saturday nights because its so busy but i guess thats just because everyone likes it there :-)
Not So Greek
Over priced Greek. It is true that many Greek restaurants are on the expensive side of dining but Nobel is ridiculously and offensively over priced. I went there about 6 years ago and it was the same then but many people have praised the food since so I thought I would try it again. Big mistake! $20 for rubber Octopus / $13 for paper thin Saganaki / $18 for trio of dips / $24 for a small plate of lamb gyros (they ran out of chicken at 7.30 pm on a Saturday night!) All served to you by waitresses who are of a La Porchetta standard. Nothing wrong with that if you are paying La Porchetta prices. The only authenticity about Nobel is the arrogance of the owner in that he can charge the prices he does. Trust me, there are plenty of better Greek dining experiences than Nobel. Never again.
Maria Vanessa
Great authentic Greek restaurant, esp loved the calamari..like most Greek restaurants, a lil pricey
Belinda
Nobel Keilor Rd Niddrie. Fantastic quality meats whether eating in or take away - Delicious
Matt Lawrence
I found the service and food to be satisfactory but I wouldn't say amazing. We had the first banquet option and struggled to get through all the food so no problems there.
Sophie Munday
When I sat down and read the menu I was a little but surprised at the prices, thought the mains would be a bit cheaper, but once I tried the food I was on heaven! I has the open grill with salad. It was lovely and the staff extremely welcoming
The Emm Factor
Impressed. Celebrating a birthday with a large group ( including children ) is always fraught with danger. Never mind, the evening went through without a hitch. The service was prompt, friendly and attentive. The food was traditional greek fare dips, saganaki, sauaages, gyro,, chicken, meatballs etc. All of a good quality and satisfying. If you want a no frills, family friendly casual environment with consistent Greek Taverna fare, Nobels passes the test.
Daniel Mitchell
Best Greek food in Niddrie. The souvlaki I had was awesome!
Iceman
I enjoyed Nobel, but why is Greek food so expensive?
Lily
