Tried this place with a group of friends, and we were not disappointed! Food was delicious and staff were friendly, even when the place was full. Definitely coming back.
This was my second time trying colombian food. I think i selected the wrong options. My fried green plantain was super oily and drenched in oil and very bland. Empanada was good but also oily. Salsa was watery. Should try grilled options next time.

4.5We revisited Club Colombia tonight to try out some of the fresh items in their menu since our last visit. Still frequented by plenty of Colombian expats this venue and the new menu has held true to the traditional but also offers a touch of fusion to with the Colombian take on Nachos, burgers and an ultra flexible grill menu. We started with a Nachos made with traditional house made corn arepas. There was generous beans and mince under a thick layer of mozzarella, smashed avo and corn. For mains we mixed and matched our proteins and sides on the Latin grill menu. I opted for a super tender porthouse with and a chimichurri sauce and sides of salads and mash while KD went for the chicken with a cheese and ham filling. We both enjoyed the grill and would recommend for anyone who want to ease themselves into Colombian cuisine. For a post dinner sweet treat I finally got to try the cheese and hot chocolate which is exactly as it read. Dark Colombian chocolate with cloves and cinnamon and lumps of a mild cheese to drop in and melt. Very common in Colombia but Iāve not seen this anywhere else in Melbourne. This steak was pull apart tender in parts and a bit firmer in others but the flavour was good and the stringy cheese topping magic.We tried a traditional recipe from the Colombian pacific coast which consisted of fish fillets, prawns and was served with a subtle coconut milk sauce with a house salad. Delicate flavours of the sauce allowed the flavour of the seafood shine through.For dessert we shared the Tres leches cake with the creamy sweet sauce had an amazing kick of citrus keeping you going back for more and more and more, highly addictive! Our favourite was the Colombian obela. This popular Colombian dessert consisted of a wafers sandwich with a milk caramel, grated cheese and berries. This dessert is hard to describe, the flavours were new to my western palate, but I enjoyed the thin fresh crunchy wafers, sweet milk caramel with the berries and cheese, very enjoyable. Club Columbia do a great coffee and are open for breakfast and lunch most days and a little later for evenings at the end of the week. Decided to give this place a go! Can only comment on the vegetarian dishes as we decided to have a vegetarian day but food was yummy! Will come back to try the other dishes!
Had the 'Calentado Valluno', which was like a home-cooked feast-for-one. The chicken breast was a bit dry but the chorizo was so juicy. You could easily share this between two. Felt well looked after here by staff as well.
Love the food and customer service here. Me and my partner had a great first experience on Colombian food. The staff are so friendly and helpful. And the food!!! Omg!!! My body feels nourished :) feels natural and no artificial flavoring. All foods are gluten too. Would definitely come back.

When I heard about their speciality drink served with - wait for it - cheese!!! - I knew we couldn't start our night without it!
So, we got the Colombian Chocolate & Cheese ā Colombian dark hot chocolate spiked with clove and cinnamon and served with a side of mozzarella cubes.. When you dunk the mozzarella cubes in, you can watch it melt into a blob which you can then scoop out and enjoy with your hot chocolate! It just cements the fact that cheese goes with pretty much anything! ššš We then ordered the Empanadas (beef + potato & chicken + rice) which were delicious!
We next got the Bandeja Paisa - One of the most famous Colombian dishes composed of 9 ingredients - Beans, pork belly, chorizo, minced beef, a fried egg, rice, avocado, ripe plantain (this was insanely good!!!), and grilled arepa.. But the best was yet to come - in the form of the most yummy Beef Burger with a side of smoked paprika chips! We totally smashed this burger which was sooo juicy and sooo flavoursome!
By the time we got to Desserts, we were pretty full but we still got the "Tres lechesā cake: a homemade cake with creamy sweet sauce topped with passion fruit and strawberries and the Arros Con Leche: Rice milk combining the creamiiness of rice with the sweetness of condensed milk and caramel milk , topped with crunchy coconut flakes and hints of caramelized blackberries!! All in all, a wonderful night with superfriendly staff and exceptional service!!! Gracias for this amazing opportunity to taste a piece of Colombia in Australia!!! ā¤
After spending some nice time over couple of drinks at Arbory Float, we decided to come here by fluke. In a mood to enjoy some live music and trying Colombian food we ended up here not before realising that this cute little small place was jam packed. Attendant almost convinced us to wait for 15 minutes but I suppose, we were very lucky that day to get the tabke in 2 minutes time.
First thing first, live music and band playing had our hearts. They were Fantastic.
We ordered the very famous Bandeja Paisa and Calentado Valluno
When the food arrived on our table, we were shocked to see the portions!! They are HUGE
Surprisingly, we had two, extremely different opinions about both the dishes.
Whereas I loved Bandeja Paisa, Ozzy loved Calentado Valluno more.
I loved the freshness of Avocado and sweetness of fried plantain which went perfectly well with the chorizo rice and plain fried arepa.
Whereas Ozzy loved the lentil rice with pulled chicken and chorizo..Which was also served with fried Arepa.
The only thing we did not like about our meal was Arepas. They were chewy and hard, and not sure if they are supposed to be like that.
Attendants are super helpful, very friendly and happy people. The owner himself was quite friendly and interacted with us for a brief while. He seemed very happy to hear that we loved the food and are planning to return to tey their Brunch menu.

If you ever wandered what excellent South America. Food taste like, go to Club Colombia. The best arepas - corn based bread - , red beans - frijoles - , fish in coconut sauce and flank stake covered with tomato and onion sauce. Superb. And the desserts , three milks , are amazing. Impressive to find such high quality food in a small cbd restaurant.
It really is a little piece of Columbia in the middle of Melbourne. Beautiful authentic Columbian food and friendly service. Loved it!
Came in for breakfast and ordered the traditional Colombian Breakfast, delicious and very generous serving. Hot Chocolate with cheese (did not get used to), Rice-Morcilla which I've only ever seen overseas, rice with beans and sausage, cheese Arepa and two eggs...soooo much food I didn't want to go back to work.
Comfortable CafƩ, colourful and with Colombian details, minus the sometimes tacky decorations, tastefully decorated. Staff were friendly and professional.
I found the menu to be too wordy and also I found it too complicated when ordering my meal. I would have been happy with ordering my Traditional Meal without all the options. Good experience overall, would recommend.
Edit: Had dinner with a big group of 12, got a little complicated ordering for such a large group, a set menu for larger groups would have been great. It was very noisy and made worse by bringing in live music (squeezed them in by the door). I like how management seems to be trying really hard, but maybe simpler is better. Interested to see how this business evolves over time.
4.5 Club Colombia brings a little piece of Colombia to Melbourne. Not just with the cuisine, they also manage to bring a truly authentic South American cafe vibe.

Hot chocolate and cheese?! The speciality (and authentic) drink of Colombian restaurant Club Colombia is the first but not the only surprise in this little introduction of cuisine from this part of South America. A friend and I head in for some fancy new flavours and walk out with a newfound appreciation for the versatility of cheese and Colombian cuisine.
Having never had Colombian before I was very pleasantly surprised by the food, staff and general vibe of Club Colombia! The menu is a little intimidating at first but the lovely staff are happy to walk you through the dishes and make suggestions based on what you like.
We had a feast consisting of the following dishes:
š Crema bogotana de ahuyama, jengibre y papa en fosforito (pumpkin & ginger soup)
š Papa criolla con suero costeno (fried potatoes)
š Yuquitas fritas con hogao (fried cassava)
š Refajo jug (beer and soft drink)

My favourites were the pumpkin & ginger soup which was absolutely delicious and served as a great ādipā for the various carbs, the tiny fried potatoes and fried cassava which were super addictive, the crispy pork belly and chorizo, sautĆ©ed rice with chicken and runny fried egg and both desserts, especially the oblea which was so interesting with cheese inside!
Highly recommend trying if you love or are curious to try Columbian food. My overall impression is that itās perfect for meat and carb lovers! They also have live music on Friday nights which adds to the great vibe.
I specifically went here to try their cheesy hot chocolate. I was a traditional Columbian spiced hot chocolate with torn mozzarella, which was to be melted into the drink. I thought it was an exotic experience and good for a try. I also ordered lunch and it was a huuuuge thick plantain topped with crunchy veggies with a side of guacamole, salsa and sour cream. It felt like eating a huge, thick taco.

Club Colombia is a beautiful restaurant in the heart of Melbourne CBD, not only serving the most authentic Colombian food, but also giving you a taste of the fun Colombian culture! We came on a Friday night and the place was very lively, full of customers and cheery staff!
The venue is stunning - the brightly painted walls and doors are a pop of colour for your eyes, the portraits of well-known Colombian people and famous Colombian artwork. Thereās even live music - a true Colombian experience!
They had prepared a vast array of their most recommended dishes for us to try. We started off with the Jarra De Refajo (Refajo Jug), a house blend of beer and soft drinks. A pleasant start to the night!
First up was the Pumpkin and Ginger Soup, which was creamy and heart-warming! Loved the addition of crispy potatoes on top! The flavour combination of pumpkin and ginger was delightful and the ginger added a nice kick.
The mini Yellow Potatoes were amazing! They were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. So addictive - you canāt go wrong with this dish!
The Fried Cassava was delicious too - itās slightly different to potato in terms of texture, but itās so good! Definitely recommend trying this!
Then came the mains. The Cazuela Arriera de Frijoles (homemade recipe of beans cooked with pork and chorizo) was so fulfilling and more-ish. The pork belly was fatty and crispy - so good!
The Flank Steak was very flavourful - loved the creamy cheese on top and the fried plantain on the side too!
The Calentado Valluno (sautƩed rice) was actually a breakfast dish, and it was so delicious! Loved the variety in the rice and it was packed full of meat, and the fried egg was perfect.
We couldnāt leave without trying dessert. The ātres lechesā cake was gorgeous - it was fruity and fresh, soaked in a really nice and creamy sweet sauce.
But the best part has to be the Colombian Oblea - you NEED to try this! Itās a popular Colombian street food - 2 crispy cookies sandwiching arequipe (Colombian milk caramel), berry sauce, whipped cream and MOZZARELLA CHEESE! The perfect blend of sweet and savoury, crunchy and creamy, and just such a great dessert! I could eat 10 of these!
To end off the night, we tried a shot of traditional Colombian Aguardiente. Very unique, and it has a strong star-anise aroma. The only way to finish a huge Colombian feast!
The owner is so friendly and all the staff are incredibly passionate about their food and so enthusiastic to share their culture. Itās such a vibrant place and I would definitely recommend checking it out!

Since visiting South America, Iāve grown to South American cuisines and when I heard thereās a Colombian restaurant in town, it was definitely on my list to go to because Iāve never had Colombian food before. Located in the CBD and having only opened for 3 months or so sits Club Colombia. It doesnāt look much from the outside but once you step inside, it was vibrant, it was friendly and with super friendly and welcoming staff.
We were kindly invited to Club Colombia for dinner! We had never tried Colombian food and were so excited to try it. The place is brightly coloured and decorated with fun hats and pictures of famous Colombians.
The staff were so wonderful and welcoming, especially Alejandra, our hostess for the night. She explained all the dishes to us and gave us a little background on all of the food.
For starters we had the pumpkin soup, the fried potatoes and the fried cassava. The pumpkin soup was sweet and creamy and a little spicy from the ginger and I loved that it was topped with matchstick slices of crispy potato. The fried potatoes were bitesize and were cooked so well and came with a sour cream dip - I could not stop eating these. The cassava came in chunky chip form with a hogao sauce and was also very moreish. A great start.
For mains we had the Calentado Valluno, which is rice with lentils, pulled chicken, chorizo, hogado sauce topped with a fried egg. It was delicious and well-balanced and the egg yolk was liquid and well so well with the rice. We also had the flank steak with criolla sauce and fried green plantains - the steak was tender and beefy and the plantains were crispy. Our 3rd main was the beans casserole which was beans cooked with pork and chorizo served with rice and arepa. It was our favourite dish - very homey, warm and comforting and a mix of interesting flavours.
Just as we were exploding with fullness, the desserts came out: 3 milks cake and oblea, which is a giant wafer sandwich with milk caramel, mixed berries sauce, whipped cream and mozzarella cheese. I loved the oblea which had a sweet and savoury taste to it which I found interesting and it was also light and really enjoyable to eat. The 3 milks cake was sweet and soft and the berries gave it a beautiful freshness.
I also had a traditional Colombian sugar cane lemonade which was tart and refreshing. Alejandra also generously offered us a shot of a type of Colombian spirit to end the meal.
As we were eating we were also serenaded by a live singer and guitarist singing Colombian songs.
What a lovely way to be introduced to Colombian cuisine! Thank you Club Colombia for your generosity!
š±Lizzieās first impression: this place literally transported me to Columbia. I came in with no expectation as Iāve never had Colombian food before and it ended up exceeding all expectations in one go!
š©Lizzie enjoyed: the Colombian fried potato sticks were delicious with the sour cream and itās a little tougher but has a thicker texture than normal fries.
The Colombian pumpkin soup was another winner - I loved it especially on a cold winters day! Just perfect. I also snuck a few chips in there which was even better!
We also tried the flank steak with Criolla sauce - one of their most highly recommended dishes. The meat was soft and the sauce had cheese which made the sauce much creamier.
We also tried the most famous Colombian dish cakes Bundeja Paisa which consisted of pork belly, chorizo, beans and a whole lot of other things. Even though Iām not Colombian, the food felt like comfort food and made me felt so warm and fuzzy!
Time for dessert - we tried their signature three milks cake which is a soft sponge drenched in some sweet sauce which ended the night perfectly.

Lizzie did not enjoy: although itās a traditional dish - it was the first time that I had tried the ripe plantain with cheese and guava paste which is the two waffle cookies with a whole lot of cheese inside. Unfortunately it wasnāt for me, but it was definitely a great experience.

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and step into Club Colombia for a feed that will take you all the way to Colombia and back. You know the food is traditional when it has a backstory and most of these dishes do. When you walk in expect lots of colour, music that will make you want to dance to your table, and lots of delicious Colombian food.
Made my way to a little bit of Columbia in Melbourne! If youāve had Colombian food, been to Columbia or are a Colombian then this is going to be a place to bring back memories of traditional Colombian food! There is no modern twist, there is no Western touch this is pure Columbian food! And damn, itās tasty! I love going to restaurants that donāt put a spin on traditional dishes. Because they are proud of their food heritage and they want people and other cultures to enjoy it. The owner is absolutely passionate about introducing people to this traditional food of his homeland that he loves. The food is absolutely delicious! My friend who is vegan came and they catered most of the dishes to suit this. So if youāre worried it wonāt cater to your dietary needs, give them a buzz as Iām sure they can help! A little slice of Colombia has come to Melbourne! It was my first time trying Colombian food & I was pleasantly surprised!
I love how bright and colourful this restaurant is. So many colourful paintings, photos and decorations that made me feel as thought I was in South America. I loved how there was a live Colombian band playing music, which really lifted the whole restaurant's atmosphere up.
The food was so unique, I've never had Colombian food before. I feel like I got to try all Colombian specialty dishes from plantane to potatoes that had to be imported from Colombia. I also got to try Colombian meats and seafood dishes which were very tasty. I feel like a lot of the food was more on the heavy side, so definitely go on an empty stomach.
The staff were so warm and welcoming. They wanted to teach me and my friends all about the food we were eating which I loved. It made me understand and appreciate the culture that much more.

Club Columbia was a decent little cafe located on queens street.. this place was colourful and vibrant.. coffee there was pretty decent and the cheese Arepa with fried egg.. very similar to other columbian breakfast joints in Melbourne..
little bit expensive but if you can get a eat club deal it makes it really worth the visit..
Staff was pretty friendly too.. will definitely give a go on their lunch or dinner menu next time..

The Colombian beer is nice and subtle and well paired with the columbian soft drink.
Colombian potatoes are lightly salted, soft, bite size and paired well with the sour cream .
Colombian cassava with hogao sauce is great. Deep fried with a thin layer of crispiness. Love how the sauce has chunks inside.
Pumpkin and ginger soup is hearty and the crispy pptato adds texture.
** Mains **
The plantain is a main ingrediant and comes in a sweet and savoury taste.
Beans casserole is hearty with crispy, dry pork and chorizo and sweet platain.
The flank steak with criolla sauce is creamy . Tender meat that breaks apart and tipped woth cen and cheese sauce. The plantain is a great side to accompany this dish
** Desserts **
Three milks cake - tres leches. Homemade Creamy sweet sauce and the passionfruit and strawberry. Very sweet and cake is dense
Colombian oblea, i could eat this all day. The waffle is pressed inside with columbian milk caramel, mixed berry sauce and mozzarella cheese. Not too overly sweet.
Overall, loved the food and the service. Had a great experience.

The place lives up to its name and rating. Amazing service, fantastic Hot Chocolate and great ambience. Veggie Calentado and Calentado Velluno - delicious. I would have given 5 star but the place ran put of Chocolate and Cheese, otherwise - perfect place to have brunch!
We were invited to Club Colombia tonight and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. It was my first experience of Colombian food and if this is what itās all about then itās a real shame the cuisine isnāt more prevalent in Melbourne. No issue CC delivers everything you could want and more from the friendliest most amiable service, to the upbeat music and vibrant decor. They even have a wall of beautiful framed photos of famous Colombians, itās not just Pablo Escobar you know!
The food came out at lightening speed as I engaged in a Colombian style hot chocolate with melted cheese. This was interesting to try and I love that they donāt shy away from the traditional dishes and flavours, you are certainly getting the authentic experience which is important. We had three entree style dishes; pumpkin soup, fried potatoes and cassava. The cassava chips were my favourite I loved the texture and a great opportunity to enjoy an ingredient you donāt often encounter in Australia.
Main wise we tried another three dishes the veggie calentado which hubs absolutely loved. Itās a rice and lentil dish with a fried egg and can be eaten for any meal of the day. The ripe plantain pieces in here had a really sweet flavour and were utterly delicious. We also tried the fish and prawn dish cooked in yummy coconut milk served with a side of more of those cute little fried potatoes. I really liked the flavours of this dish which hails from the Colombian coasts.
Our final dish before dessert was the steak cooked with cheese and cream with a side of fried green plantain. They sure do love their cheese in Colombian which is something I can really get on board with! The cheese theme continued into dessert where we tried the oblea which is two cookies sandwiched with Colombian milk caramel and of course mozzarella.
We enjoyed this unique tasty number which was possibly eclipsed only by the tres leches cake. This was the heavenly creamy pairing of a super moist cake with tart passionfruit and fresh strawberries. Absolutely perfect!

This place has early closing times on some days so best to check to avoid disappointment! We went on a Thursday night and they close at 7pm on that day.
The staff were very warm and friendly and introduced their menu to us.
It was my first Colombian food experience and I have no idea what to expect - the food were very interesting, amazing and unique!
For the drinks, we had the Colombian chocolate and cheese - authentic Colombian dark chocolate with cloves and cinnamon. It had pieces of cheese which is more like a mozzarella style and apparently you dunk it in the drink. After finishing the drink, you can scoop and eat those cheese. Very special!

Entrees:
1. Yellow potatoes with Colombian sour cream - small bursts of hot mashed potato in your mouth, which is especially nice when dipped in the cold sour cream.
2. Fried cassava with Colombian hogao sauce - the hogao sauce is made up of tomato and onions and it reminded me of minestrone soup. The fried cassava is plain so it matches well with the sauce.
3. Pumpkin and ginger soup with crispy potato on top and cream - a very rich soup with a strong taste of ginger. Great for a cold day!

Mains:
1. Calentado Valluno: Sauteed rice with lentils, pulled chicken, chorizo, hogao sauce, coriander and a fried egg - This is my favourite dish! Apparently they have this for breakfast and it is a huge filling dish! The rice is packed full of flavour and the pulled chicken was so tender and nice. The lentils are so soft it would burst in every bite!
2. Flank steak with hogado sauce, cooked with cheese and cream. Served with green plantain - The green plantain is like a green unripe banana (after i googled the image). It is very crunchy and to be served with the flank steak which was so soft it was like pulled beef!
3. Homemade recipe of beans cooked with pork and chorizo served with rice and arepa - The arepa is made of corn and it is a cute small circle, but a bit flavourless on its own. This dish looked like a bean stew and it was great with the rice. However, I was a bit surprised the Colombian style steamed rice is salty. Perhaps a bit too salty for me.Ā

Dessert:
1. "Tres leches" cake: homemade cake with creamy sweet sauce topped with passionfruit and strawberries - This cake was so spongey and soaked up all the creamy sauce so it was very soft and sweet.
2. Colombian Oblea - Two crispy cookies sandwich with arequipe (Colombian milk caramel), mixed berries sauce, whipped cream and mozzarella cheese - This is my favourite dessert! It is very crispy and not so sweet, just the way i like it. We broke pieces off it and shared around! yummy!

Club Colombia transports guests to Colombia - its culture and its traditions. Happy, colourful and wonderfully vibrant, this eatery boasts an array of delectable delights that are perfect for sharing whilst sipping on a jug of Jarra de refajo (a house blend of Colombian beer and Colombian soft drinks).
As soon as you walk through the doors you instantly feel like your in Colombia. Club Colombia gives you an instant grasp of what Colombia is reallylike from the music, to the famous murals to the pretty doors. Nestled in a quieter location in the city you wouldnāt expect such a hidden gem thatās always thriving. Started with the Patacon Hagoa which was one of my favourite dishes, our group had about 3 entrees, 3 mains and 3 desserts. My favourite dessert dish was the tres leches that was definitely a stand out dish, mixed with strawberrys and passion fruit the cake was cooked to perfection but yet so soft and moist and bursting with flavours. All of the dishes were Colombianās main traditional dishes from the coast and different regions. Whatās so important and stands out that every dish on this menu has been cleverly served in such a traditional way. The staff were very attentive and the owner was very kind and gave us some shots to called aguardiente which is made of sugar cane and anise. Iāll definitely be back in a heartbeat and I highly recommend you to try the most authentic Colombian food Iāve ever come across, the dishes are also reasonable. Thank you for having me.
Amazing authentic Colombian food and ambience. Everything about Club Colombia screams out loud āColombiaā in Melbourne. From the live music to the staff who know their stuff. We tried a bit of everything off the menu and the only qualm we had was that we arenāt back already
Being our first foray into Colombian cuisine, we unfortunately cannot vouch for the authenticity of be food we sampled today.
However, we can definitely guarantee that Club Colombia offers a thoroughly amazing and utterly irresistible dining experience from start to end.
Coupled with warm South American hospitality and live music, we are certain that this is the place to immerse and indulge in Colombian culture!

Welcome to Colombia was the greeting that I reviewed hahaha. Iāve never been to Colombia in person or on my world food tour so I was pretty excited about this new restaurant in the CBD.
The food, was ell it was awesome and there were a lot of dishes so Iāll highlight a few here. We started with some slow cooked beef on a bed of mashed banana which was crunchy and the slow beef just melted in my mouth! Wow, perfect. What a great start.
We then had some cheese cigars served w prawns in a tomato and onion salsa. The cheese was soft and the prawns, fresh and juicy.
Their pumpkin soup was fantastic, it was thick, creamy and seasoned really well. It was soo well balanced, it was just perfect!
Another highlight was the rice and pulled beef dish served w rice, a fried egg and a biscuit, and it all worked really well.
Why is it that you can always do in dessert? Hahaha
Well one of the highlights for me was the wafer thin biscuit w cheese on the middle... Yummo! This was so refreshing oddly enough.
And a creamy dish w fresh strawberries and passionfruit was a great way to end my trip to Colombia!
What a meal, what a night. Oh ana I almost forgot, on Friday and Saturday nights they have a live band w Colombian musicians beating out some great tunes that all the staff and a lot of punters were singing along too.
Thanks to the owners for a fantastic night, and now if Iām asked o can say āYes Iāve been to a Colombiaā hahaha .... well at least on my world food tour!

The people behind Cento Mani are spreading their passion for their Columbian heritage by opening a second restaurant, Club Colombia. Like Cento Mani, things are pretty casual, but the brighter, more colourful and more open space allows them to host live music that is audible from down the street.

Club Colombia has got to be one of the best hangout places for Colombian food lovers and people who wants to drink in friendly atmosphere. We started our meal with the patacon con hogao, which is a fried green plantain topped with shredded beef, guacamole and hogao sauce. Very delicious! The flank steak with cream and cheese is also another amazing dish. However, the highlight of our meal is definitely the dessert. It was two slices of wafer filled with caramel, coconut sprinkles and mozarella cheese (that's right). It was so interesting and we love it.
They also have live music on weekends so that is another good thing!
I visited last Friday night and it was my first time trying Colombian food and I LOVED IT!.
We were treated like royalty, the staff went over and above to explain all of the dishes to us, and educate us about traditional Colombian food to make sure that we enjoyed every second of our visit!
We ate a feast of huge, delicious dishes!! These included the:
-PatacĆ³n con hagao with pulled beef (fried plantain + guacamole)
-Colombian potatoes with sour cream
-Empanadas vallunas
-Pumpkin and ginger soup
-Mixed meat plate (with pork belly, black pudding, cassava and plantain)
-Rice with prawns and chorizo
-Fish and prawns with a delicious sauce
-Tres leches cake (absolutely beautiful looking dish)
-Ripe plantain with cheese and guava paste
-Colombian oblea (cookie sandwich with milk caramel, berry sauce, whipped cream and mozzarella)
My personal favouriteĀ Ā savoury dish was the patacĆ³n con hagao which were super crunchy and flavoursome! Was so much fun to eat!
The oblea was the most delicious dessert Iāve had in ages, it was perfectly balanced ā the addition of mozzarella was a stand-out!
Overall, I really loved my visit. It was my first time trying Colombian food and I will definitely be sure to eat it again soon! Will be back
When a restaurant is teeming with locals as soon as it opens on a public holiday, you know youāre in for a treat. Club Colombia is a 2-month old restaurant with the aim to transport its customers straight to the heart of Colombia, without leaving the comfort of this Melbourne restaurant, and is every aspect, from food, to customer service, to ambiance, Club Colombia does just that. Friendly staff, colourful Bogota-like streets, and paintings by famed Colombian artists dotting the walls, Club Colombia captures the essence of Colombia in a way that is delicious and hearty to both homesick Colombians, and hungry Melbournians alike.
Club Colombia is a very good effort to bring some of the Colombian culinary tradition to Melbourne. As a result, dishes, presentation and the overall atmosphere are very close to the ones youāre likely to experience in Colombia.
I tried a tasty Calentado Paisa (sautƩed rice with red beans and pork) and was very happy with the flavours and size of the serve.

Decided to have dinner at Club Colombia on Queen Street last night. One of the greatest experiences we have ever had! The staff is extremely friendly and always provides great insights on the different foods on the menu as well. They had live music which was absolutely amazing. If you close your eyes and just listen you truly feel like you are in Colombia.
Aside from the amazing vibes here they also had outstanding food. Great experience to try the South American culture. There was just so much food, for 2 hours straight we sat there trying so many different dishes and every single one of them impressed me. We ordered the "Picada Club Colombia" which consisted of chorizo, arepa, chicharron, morcilla, yuca frita, papa criolla, patacon served with Aji and Suero Costeno. They were all full of flavour and each was very different. We loved it.
One of the greatest experiences ever. If your after Colombian food and you want somewhere authentic and full of flavour with a great vibe then Club Colombia is the place to go too. I definitely reccomend coming here as it is definitely the entire package. Amazing! Highly reccomend!

For a moment I forgot that I was so far from my native country, I felt in Colombia for its excellent atmosphere, decoration, delicious food that truly teast COLOMBIA, the location is great!
Love to see new Latin food places opening in Melbourne and was very keen to try this one. My first visit was for brunch one busy Saturday. I was really tempted to get the chocolo arepa (my go-to Colombian dish) but seeing as this venue serves patacon (fried smashed plantain), I knew I had to try it instead. It was a bit crispy for my liking, but luckily my second visit redeemed my initial disappointment and provided the chance to finally try the chocolo. It was everything I would have hoped for - Sweet with chunks of fresh corn and a hefty layer of cheese on top. I also loved and tried the cheese-filled white corn arepa.
As for other dishes, the pumpkin soup is to die for. It was probably my favourite dish I tried, full of spice and topped with crispy cassava strips. No Colombian meal is complete without plantains, of which I tried savoury (served alongside rice and a fried egg) and sweet (served with guava and cheese). While the latter was nice, the standout desserts of the evening were the slightly citrusy tres leches and the dulce de leche and cheese-filled wafer cookie. If that's not enough to fulfill your sweet tooth, I recommend the classic Colombian hot chocolate, served with a side of cheese (try it, trust me).
Great place. Great food. Great experience. Great service. Good to see an authentic Colombian restaurant that also keeps a modern vive. Life music, an unique experience en Melbourne CBD.
Popped in for a quick coffee, ordered a flat white. Friendly staff, prompt service (despite the lunchtime crowd!). Will be back to try the food. Vibe was pleasant,what with the music, decor and friendly wait-staff.
Love the food and the ambiance! The interior is beautifully designed with lots of colors. Special mention must be given to the Sobre Barriga and Colombian ceviche as they were super delicious.
When I first saw this pop up I made the link to it being associated with Cento Mani, another Colombian cafe I visited not too long ago. It is vibrantly colourful inside and felt much more spaceous than where we sat last time.
I start off with a latte although smooth was lacking in strength (and latte art). They brought to each table some complimentary black pudding on top of a piece of arepa which was a nice touch. It was grainy and slightly irony (in a good way), the lime helped cut through the richness.
For main I got their slow cooked pork ribs cooked in sugarcane sauce and aguardiente. The ribs were sweet with the flesh ever so delicate. On the side were fried green plantains which were starchy and slightly sweet and crisp.
While my dish was a safe bet, my friend's were indifferent with their dishes. It could be a number of reasons, one being their unfamiliarity to Colombian cuisine. Nevertheless nice little addition to the CBD, loving the diversity.
Great food and experience, live music is fantastic. I had the chicharrĆ³n and it was amazing. Definitely a place to come back regularly. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. If you want to experience a little piece if Colombia in Australia definitely come here.

My first time having lunch at Club Colombia. Authentic Colombian Food. I had Rice with Prawn and Fried Yuquitas on the side with dipping sauce. Taste was great and staff was friendly. They played Colombian music as well. I highly recommend this place.
We are so inspired to try Latin America food after watching Netflix Street Food Latin American and found this hidden gem on Queen St.
Food we ordered:
š„ Bandeja Paisa (beans, crispy pork belly, chorizo, mince beef, a fried egg, rice, avocado, rice plantain, and grilled arepa)
š„ Arepa De Queso (Traditional Arepa w/ grilled white corn and filled with fresh mozarella cheese).
š« Empanadas (Colombian corn patty filled w/ three different flavors)
To start with, The Empanadas - this little pastry is awesome, full of flavors and super delicious. Then onto the main meal, our first time trying out Bandeja Paisa and we are hooked. The national dish of Colombia certainly packs a punch. A lot of different textures on the plate and the portion is massive, must-try dish here. Then we close-off with Arepa, cheesy & corny, another must try dish to round up amazing experience at this restaurant.
Excellent customer service - very friendly staffs. Highly recommended for an authentic Colombian food. Would definitely come back to try other exotic colombian food.
Weāre all sleeping on Colombian food here in Melbourne! I was so lucky to find this hidden gem when I was browsing google maps on where to go for my Saturday Date Night.
Colombian food is something that Iāve never tried before, so coming here was a very exciting experience for me. We ordered:
1. Beef & potato empanada
2. Arepa de queso (Cheesy arepa)
3. Patacon Pisaāo Carne (Fried plaintain with meat on top)
4. Punta de Anca a la planca, with Papas Fritas and Aji (Steak with chips and Salsa on the side)
5. Colombian sugar cane lemonade
I was blown away on how delicious these dishes are!! The empanada was crunchy and I think it mightāve used cornmeal pastry as the flavor was quite dominant, I loved it so much š
The cheesy arepa was quite yummy and sweet, it had a taste like it should be a dessert somehow.
The Patacon was something that doesnāt taste familiar at all to me but itās pretty good. I wouldnāt have it again though cause itās too heavy for me as itās fried, but the pulled beef on top was spot on!
The Punta de Anca or Sirloin Steak was surprisingly excellent! For only $18 (chips and Aji sauce were add ons $3 and $2 respectively), itās a damn good steak! Perfectly cooked and well seasoned, great to eat with the Aji which is a Salsa with cilantro, jalapeno, tomatoes, green onion, lemon juice and white vinegar. The salsa was a great to balance to the fats on the steak itself.
Overall, everything was perfect! I was confused on why the place was almost empty when we visited, it really deserves a long queue outside their door, itās THAT good!! š Please give this place a try and let me know how it goes āØ
A nice little Colombian restaurant in the CBD. Found this place through Google map and we saw the review was good. We were hungry for brunch and decided to give this a try.
The service was friendly and the foods were big in portion. You'll definitely feel full after eating here. You can even share it with friends.
You should definitely try their signature hot chocolate which comes with cheese. It's a very unique experience.
The place also felt homey which was nice.

A cozy place serving Colombian food and coffee. I have not been to Colombia so I don't know whether it is authentic or not. However, I do like it especially the fried plantain with various toppings - the fried plantain itself is crispy, not oily, has a slightly sweet and firm texture - its quite addictive. i also like the empanada - the skin is crisp, thin and slightly sticky - its not thick and doughy.
